I filed a claim with Dealers Resource Center (DRC) under my vehicle extended warranty in September 2025. On October 28, they denied the claim citing unverifiable maintenance records, which I promptly provided. Despite supplying the requested documentation, DRC did not reopen it until November 10 — more than 38 days later. During the delay, DRC already quoted a new engine for installation, showing the claim had been approved, but then on November 14 they reversed course and insisted on supplying a used engine instead — without explaining why. They also repeatedly failed to provide critical documentation: engine serial number, donor VIN, compression/leak-down tests, supplier warranty info, and certification of “like-kind and quality.” Meanwhile, the repair facility says DRC is refusing to approve sufficient labor hours for the replacement. I’ve had my vehicle out of service for nearly two months, with additional costs and stress directly because of DRC’s delay and inconsistent handling. I’ve filed complaints with the Indiana Department of Insurance, Indiana Attorney General, FTC, BBB and now leave this review to warn others. I still expect DRC to (1) provide full documentation validating the engine and its condition, (2) clarify whether it is new, used or remanufactured and meets contract standards, (3) approve appropriate labor hours for replacement, and (4) rectify their cost-based reversal. Until then, this matter remains unresolved and I cannot recommend DRC.
Desired outcome: My goal is to ensure compliance, transparency, and fair treatment under Indiana law. I want the company to take corrective action so that future consumers are not subjected to the same delays and lack of accountability
