Disabled American Veterans [DAV] review: Beware of veterans scams

DAV looks like a legit business and legit opportunity to assist disabled Vets. I enrolled online and gave what I thought was a donation. The next month the donation was automatically deducted again from my account. I called and was told someone would contact me about a refund. No call and no contact from anyone. I called again and was told there was no refund. Now does that sound like a legit business that was supposedly assisting Vets? The site is not user friendly and its actually difficult trying to find a contact number or email. There are numerous organizations that seem to do a much better than DAV. Beware.
