Disabled American Veterans [DAV] review: DAV is nothing more than a bunch of old gatekeepers that have weaponized the process.

This is a terrible organization. I did my raiting by myself. Got denied for something that was well medically documented. The guy on the phone for the DAV was gung ho. “Bring your papers in, let’s get this done, you got done dirty.” I show up in person thinking he is the guy there. I am fired up. Nope. Someone else. I then got told to be happy with what I got. Nothing was resolved. I was also told that I was just another young guy trying to get benefits by the other DAV gatekeeper. 100% do not recommend going to these guys. They will use their position of status and trust to look at all your information while slithering around telling all their ex military buddies as gossip fodder at the local bars. Even thought their DAV policy is not to discuss your case information outside the DAV.
