We were sold an apartment by Sarah Mebarki at Damac who promised that new appliances, furniture, TV, and bedroom sets will be provided. She also informed us that there is no additional cost for AC and the cooling bill will be included in the Dewa bill.

We had the handover meeting with Nessa from the handover team and to our surprise, we were offered stained beds with blood and bed bugs, a sofa that also has bed bugs, old and obsolete models of white goods, a cooking range that does not even reach the same surface as the kitchen counter. Our mortgage was approved in June and we paid 2 installments to the bank but the first handover meeting happened on 14th August where we saw the horrifying state of the furniture.

To top it all we got to know that there will be separate billing for AC which has a previous outstanding of AED 3500 odd amount.

We need all the bills until AUGUST end cleared by Damac as no handover has been done till now.

- DEWA bill cleared till August 2023

- Ista - AC company bill cleared till August 2023

- Any previous Gas bill to be cleared till August 2023

- All new furniture with repaired bathroom

- Pest control done.

We have been waiting patiently for a response from DAMAC but no one updates us.

All we hear is the case is with handover team, when we contact handover team they say it is with the Sales team. The sales team says we do not get involved anymore as the property is sold.

MIS-SELLING with lies just for sale that new things will be provided and no separate AC.

God knows how many more bad surprises are remaining to be seen with this property.

this was our first booking and we thought booking with a developer will provide a guarantee of quality but we were so wrong.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH NO RESPONSES AND PASSING US LIKE A BALL FROM ONE TEAM TO ANOTHER WITH NO RESOLUTION.

Our complaint has been on priority for over 2 months now with no resolution whatsoever!

We want some responsible person assigned who can provide us with an update by today. Our current contract expires by the 28th of August and we will have no place to stay thanks to your very efficient handover team who has done a very very disappointing job. No audits were done on the property before calling us over to check the bed bugs and blood stains all over the beds.

Your response to hold on does not do any help for me. So please send me some proper update.

Things just keep getting worse. We received this service charge when the apartment is not given to us until August 2023. How can you levy us service charge from April onwards when the formally we agreed to buy in July?

We need service charge to be cleared from 1st April to 30 August

It is so unprofessional of the handover team I don't think the team understands their obligation clearly and are doing whatever they feel like. So disappointing. Please have our compliant raised to your complaints or compliance manager urgently

Further adding to our disappointment of the handover + service charges we see another shocking penalty on installments.

Our mortgage was handled by Krishna from the mortgage team and the bank cleared all the formalities on time.

So I don't understand what is the penalty of AED 30670.63

Your systems need to reflect what is right. We are regretting booking in with you as we find your systems not updated, staff not aware of process, sales team who says number of lies just to sell property without even knowing what is the correct update on the property.

We want these charges removed immediately you can liaise with the mortgage team - Krishna and Abhishek handover team Yasser to get clarification and removal of this penalty plus removal of service charge from April onwards.

Really what is going on does it have to be so stressful.deapite paying hefty property price.

Very very disappointed with inefficient process handling at Damac.
