I used cricket wireless in florida for about 4 months before moving to Roanoke Virginia area. When I got to Va, the service was not good, I was missing calls and text like crazy, when I say missing, I mean my phone wasn't ringing at all, not notifing me at all. I was getting text messages from people literally 3 days after they were sent. So, I tried 7-8 other providers. There was 2 that worked a little better. So about 6 months later, I had turned on an older galaxy s22 I'd had for 5 years or so, but still a very good phone. I wondered if it would work better than the other device I had used on cricket. I called and spoke to a tech who assured me the s22 would work perfectly, (exact words) so I went back, nope, still had major reception issues. I was on the phone constantly with them fighting for apn's that would work, 1 in particular worked very well, they told me I couldn't use it for some reason... Anyway, 3 months in, the said I was ellidgable for an upgrade, the moto g stylus 2025 is the answer to all my problems the techs told me. It'll fix everything, no more missed or dropped calls or text. I told them 3 or 4 times, I have to have an unlocked device, my service is a horrible nightmare and I may not stay with cricket. Oh sure, it's unlocked, I paid 185 dollars and change for the new device only to find out it's locked to cricket for 1 year before they'll unlock it. I was never told a word about this in any way. They straight up lied to me in fact. I was told by at least 2 people that it was an unlocked device, no ties to anyone. They will not unlock it, they say they can't, and even the office of the president of cricket supports they're employees lieing to they're customers. I've been on the phone with them over this as well. If your not a customer of cricket yet, do not become one. They service is horrible, customer service is horrible and they will cheat you and rob you in some way. I'm paying for 12 months of service that doesn't work way more than it does...

Recommendation: Go somewhere else, don't deal with cricket
