YES! Communities lost rent/ bullet holes... and the list goes on

I live in hidden falls of acworth... Where do I even begin...? First of all, we had two bullets go thru our home when I was about 7 months pregnant, then it took them months to fix the holes and replace my cabinet! We had an ice storm in december and the trees are still in my yard! The increased my rent with out notifying me properly. And just recently they lost my rent money and is now making me help them track it down! I do not work for you and I will not waste my time doing your job because your staff can't keep their crap together! Oh and they also in the meantime didn't tell me they lost the money order yet instead I get a knock on my door by the sheriffs office with an eviction notice (wrongful evicition at that)... Needless to say I am talking with the attorney I work for regard suit if this actually goes thru! I would never ever ever recommend anyone, not even a rabid animal to live in the hell hole! Run run run

YES! Communities fees for grass/ grass has always been cut weekly

I have lived at Old dutch farms for over 2 years and never got a fee for my grass. My grass is cut weekly, once cut the very next day the weeds grow tall already. I have no control over the weeds, I will not purchase something to damage the grass. I refuse to cut my grass 2 times a week for your pleasure, I am a single mother, I work and travel for work. I dont have time to cut my grass 2 times a week. Precisely today I was going to have the same kid that always cuts my grass come and cut it. But yet the office came and did it without my authorization. Legal action will be taken if a fee is given. Call me at [protected]

YES! Communities no communication

We found a home we liked in a yes community in Jacksonville Florida, Crystal Springs Estates. We called several times and left a message to have them call back. They never called back. We went to the office and spoke to a woman, Laura, and made an offer on a home. We paid $90 for community check, and gave completed loan papers to Laura. We heard nothing for over a week, originally she told us the loan company usually had an answer in one to three days. We called her and got no answer and no call back. We returned to the office and they were able to get Laura on the phone. She then told us we had to apply for the loan online, since she was just brokering the home she could not submit the loan application. I did that, got an answer in four days, tried to call her again and could not reach her, left several messages. We decided not to get the home as the loan payment would be over our budget. We would like to get our $90 back as we would not have paid that until we knew if we were getting the house, but Laura said it had to be paid before anything was done.

It's going to be so satisfying to see this company, especially The Breakers, get a legal dose of their own medicine.

YES! Communities no guideline enforcement/ blatant disrespect

Where do I begin? I have the worst lot location in the community. I've been here for quite some time and my wife and I are used to certain way of living if you will. Every time we get a new manager I go through the same things over and over again with Management and the things that they tell or allow the new Resident to do. specifically parking a big box truck in the parking lot in front of my house. It totally blocks the sidewalk that's in front of my house, and hangs 2 ft into my yard over my plants. I work hard in my yard I am directly in front of the office you should be thanking me and Catering to me and useing my home as an example of what you expect from other residents. The first time the box truck was parked there it was there all weekend so I do some of my own yard work as in after the mowing company that y'all hire take care of the yard gets through I go through my yard and fix the stuff that's not done properly, or should I say not to my standards. Also, they blow all of the trash that's in the parking lot into my yard . The maintenance man goes around in the golf cart with a pincher and picks up the big stuff . I believe it's because he's told not to get off the golf cart some safety concerns is what I'm told . So the parking lot always has cigarette butts bottle caps little pieces of debris that end up in my yard every other week . But that's not what I'm here for back on Pointe. Should I let management know number one the box truck is too big for the parking spot, therefore it's too big to be parked in the community. I will refer you to your guidelines of 18 wheelers not being permitted on the premises, it goes on to state that the tractor of an 18-wheeler are any facsimile thereof is not allowed on the premises. This box truck in question also has North Carolina license plate displayed on the truck that is 2 years out of date which is also a violation of the guidelines. Which is a major problem in this community. Their cars sitting around with no registration plates on them at all. A resident that has a car that I like and had discussed with him his plans with the car in hopes that maybe I might be able to purchase the vehicle for myself. During the conversation he tells me that management told him to back it into the driveway so that nobody can see from the road that it doesn't have a plate on it. Not only is this in violation of yes Community guidelines that I was handed three months after yes Community purchased the trailer park that I live in. But it is also a code violation of the city of Greensboro for non operative cars. Of course when you call the city for help on this matter they say this is private property. which makes no sense to me but we won't get into that now. So now it's like I don't know 5 in the afternoon and I'm on my porch and this box truck parking come now there's plenty of other spaces open that he could back in but he knows that I don't like it there so he Parks it directly next to my parking spaces which makes it very very hard for me to back out of my parking space safely. Blocking the sidewalk is also a safety issue. My wife ask me to go out and asked the guy not to park it there. I politely met him at the truck when he was getting out and ask him if he's going to park it here all weekend he said no I'll be leaving in the morning to go to work. I said could you do me a favor not park it here and park it out on Earl Drive where all the other big trucks are parked from previous management letting them know that that's where they Park. He immediately said she said I can park here so I turned to look at the office and here's your sales representative. Which by the way is the most unprofessional individual that's been here in a very long time. She talks about me to other residents. The pool guy MOe has lived across the street from the trailer park is whole life I've known him for 10 years. He told me everything she said about me. Anyway I digress. So I look at him I said buddy she doesn't like me and this is my yard my wife doesn't want it here can you please move it be a good neighbor. I then turned around and walked away as I was on my porch I heard the door close on the truck I turned around and I said you going to leave it there he said yes I'm not going to park it out there and have to walk to my house it'll be moved in the morning when I go to work. All this was heard by Emirba your sales associate. I went into my house got the rules as I stated before that I received from yes communities just a few months after the purchase place. I wanted you to the office, she let me know that she called the manager Denise have denice's one I spoke to previously before this incident. Said that way she called Mike the maintenance man and I was man, back up a minute I left the office because she seemed flustered and I didn't want her to feel threatened by me being mad so I left and went into my yard. My wife and I are in the yard Mike comes over and says it domies call them let him know that I was mad and she was on her way he should hang on a minute let me talk to him and see what's going on I'll call you back. Yada yada yada, I told Mike that my wife informed me that I wasn't allowed to complain to the office no more in fact I'm not allowed to talk to anybody that works with this company anymore. Now she wants me out. Really! All this over a damn box truck that I asked politely for Denise to take care of it for me. You know what I'm done okay. If you want to remove this post contact me I do not want to be contacted from anybody in this area that goes for Raleigh to okay. In fact I'm pretty much done. The way it stands at this point in time I'm putting my clothes in my van and leaving I have no home. All because yes communities handed me rules and guidelines to live by was posted at the mailbox at January 1st these new rules going into effect they would be strictly enforced I felt like we had somebody here now that own the place that cared about the place and that we were going to have a nice place to live again cuz it was nice place when I moved in your 16 years ago, now I'm living under the bridge down the street thanks a lot. I think maybe we should leave y'all just make us an offer on our home and will be gone. No need to try to push my buttons and make me do something so you have grounds to evict me. I posted some pictures of the box truck hopefully you can see that it's in my yard on top of my plant also hopefully you can see and license plate has a temporary sticker the date on the temporary sticker is 2016 the vehicle was purchased as a new vehicle in 2016 as per the DMV. So they ever purchase it never pay the taxes and had it registered legally after the temporary tag ran out so who's ever driving the vehicle I'm sure he's well aware of this fact not to mention the owner if they're not the same person. Also dog poop in my yard daily I'm on my porch they stand there in my yard with their dog I'm looking at them they just walk away and leave it. I have not complained to Denise about this because I'm tired of complaining to be honest with you but I had to do something about the box truck cuz my wife told me to. And believe me I could spend all day telling you about the stuff that happens in your parking lot 10 ft from my front door drug deals broad daylight. Getting woke up in the middle of the night 3:40 in the morning from noise people hanging out in the parking lot. I will tell you this that doesn't happen anymore because I put a stop to it with no help from Greensboro Police Department or management of yes communities. Also I may add when I take care of stuff my self resumes go in the office and complain to them that I'm racist. Can't say nothing cuz you're racist.

Jul 08, 2018 4:44 am EDT

Here we go again, July 8th at 3:15 a.m. Sunday morning. My wife and I were both woke up by music comming from the parking lot in front of the office. When we got up to look outside two cars with people hanging around them. Loud music coming one of the vehicles. It seems like they had no cares in the world about anybody but themselves and what they were doing.

I have not been contacted from anybody about the previous two post or an offer on my home. It's now 5 in the morning I can't go back to sleep.
So while I'm at it can you tell your manager Denise that the trash cans need to come in off for the road as per the guidelines that you handed out just a couple months after you bought the place.
As I walked the community to get exercise I can't stand to stench looming from the garbage that's right beside the road. You got some nasty people in here, that obviously need guidance on how to live.

On 06/03/18 @ 3:30 am
I was awakened by car doors closing and loud voices. I went to the window to see what all the fuss was about. I watched as two or three cars pulled off
Two women and one guy left standing behind their car, the guy walks to the driver side door, reaches in and turns up the music . I go out and ask them what time is it . 3:30 . Oh, thanks for waken me up . I than showed them the street sign that says no loitering yada, yada, also I stated I don't know why they put the sign 12 feet high where no one can see it. ?

As a paying customer I feel like i should not have to go through this on a regular basis, or at all .

Don't you feel like I deserve the same peace and quite that other residents have that don't live in the parking at the office ? I do !

When is it going to stop ? If Yes Communities wants this to continue as normal practice I will need it in writing that this is acceptable to you and that my wife and I should be expected to live under these conditions .

YES! Communities no hot water

I currently reside at the Americana Estates in Kalamazoo, MI. Friday (05/04/18) my hot water stopped working. I went into the office on Saturday (05/05/18) and explained I had no hot water. It was explained to me that the maintenance person is on vacation, but would let the manager (Meagan) know. As of today (05/07/18) still no hot water and I have not heard from anyone.

YES! Communities customer service/ sewer & water bill

I am a resident here at Yes Communities (Misty Winds). I have lived here since Sept 2015. I have had problem with high water bills since then . I live alone and my sewer & water bill is the same as a family of four! When I went to the office on Thursday 5/2/18. They told me I was being charge for the amount of people listed on my household lease. I informed them that I lived alone. And they talked to the new manager ( our 4:6 one ) they said there was nothing wrong with my water. I went back on Saturday 5/5 and the office was closed and it's supposed to be open Saturdays from 10-5pm so how am I supposed to pay for my rent ? And I was told to pay the amount and they would give me credit but I've been told that before too and I've never seen one dam credit and I've been living here for 3 years. They need to get it together! This is ridiculous! They are quick to charge us late fee but not quick to help us resolve our issues. They should call them the No communities instead of the yes communities! Bad customer service and poor management!

YES! Communities rental property

I am currently living on Village Park property at this time in Greensboro, NC. My neighbors had cars parked in my driveway. I said something to them about it. Ever since it has been hell. They walk through my driveway and don't say a word. They stand out there and hang out. They have left trash in my driveway. All I asked was that they need to introduce themselves and ask if they could pass through the driveway, because I do not know who they are and I do not feel safe with random people just standing in my driveway. They have refused. I have been called [censored] and fat [censored]. I was told I needed to move by them. I was notified by the property manager that they have free access to walk through the driveway because it is the rental property's driveway. I was told to just call the police while to be continually harassed and allow them to have a pass. What's sad is that I brought my house a year ago. I would like to know what do I need to do to sell this place and move since they allow the tenants to racially harass people.

YES! Communities management/conditions

There are issues stemming way back before this past week. But to save myself from getting even more angy, I will stick with the latest. The front office of Five Seasons has been harassing me consistently for the past week. 5+ phone calls a day to my phone alone and several more to my fiance's. They even tried to call as an unknown number as if that was going to work. And for what? $4 on my mortgage payment that I made them aware I would add to my next months (This months) payment. Ontop of that, First bank, who they work with for mortgages has been blowing up my phone as well. Two notices on my door, which today, Pam was nice enough to slam on my door as she stuck it on there. Both notices stating this months mortgage as late even though my pay date was moved forward to the 15th-30th.
On to conditions. The park on the property has a gazebo. I informed Yes communities directly almost a year ago that it was broke and there were rusty nails sticking out. To this day, it has not been fixed, no attempt has been made to remove the nails or fix it at all. I refuse to even take my kids over there because I don't want them to be running around, trip and land on a rusty nail or broken board.
We go through so many managers here and honestly, each is worst than the last. I can not wait to move.

YES! Communities mountain gate community phoenix, az

We use to be tenants in one of your mobile homes at Mountain Gate of Phoenix, Az. We were informed that we would be receiving our security deposit 6 weeks after we moved out. And this was back on 02/28/2018. It has been passed that time frame and we have been trying to get ahold of someone from the office to provide us information in reference to our check. The rare times Someone actually picked up the phone we were informed that we would need to call back and speak with Rosa Sterling the manager. The first time we got to speak with Rosa she said that she would give us a call back and this has been 2 weeks since this, she never did call us back. Now today I was trying to get ahold of her all day and no one ever picked up. I called the office again at 3:30 pm from a different number she finally answered. I asked in reference to the issue she said she didn't have that information in front of her since she had already closed her computer. Her response completely upset me because I've been trying to reach out all day today and have been calling since 3 weeks now and I was also promised a call back from her and she tells me she has closed her computer for the day. I am not one to be submitting complaints since I understand things happen but this has been going on for far too long. I need a response ASAP. Thank you.

YES! Communities front yard is flooded everytime it rains. have spoken to front office and they are saying they only have one maintenance man so i'll have to wait.

I live in the Royse City community and my front yard is flooded everytime it rains. We have to put plywood down to have a walkway to the porch. This complaint was sent in to the front office over a month ago and nothing has yet to be done. They said they have one maintenance man so it'll be a while until they can get to it but the work order is there. I'm frustrated because the lot rent has went up twice in the two years I've lived here and the one problem I have they put it down like it's not a big deal. We've cleaned the carpet twice in two months because of the amount of mud being tracked in due to stepping in puddles of water to get to the door. Very frustrated.

YES! Communities lease altered without my knowledge and getting hurt on their property due to blatant negligence with no follow up

Right before I moved into the mobile home my porch and side steps were replaced however instead of the old lumber and debris being properly disposed of everything was left strew around the side and back yard. Within a week of moving I had a notice on my door about violation of lease due because I had things that I was moving into the house that wouldn't fit through the door and was outside. When I received this so called notice I let the compliance manager know that while they are worried about my items being seen there is still large amounts of debris all over the yard and broken glass by the front door. I was promised on 3 different occations that this would get picked however it was not until after I got hurt. I tripped over one of the sticks that was covered up by leaves ( the lumber was left by a big tree) and fell. The area where I just so happened to fall at was more construction debris resulting in one of the boards with rusty nails was shoved into my thigh so deeply that ENT could not remove it and I was rushed to the DR to have a procedure done to have the board removed. The following morning all of the debris was cleaned where I fell however did not bother cleaning anything up on the other side of the house. No one from the front called to see if I was ok even though they were aware of the incident. While injured I received paperwork for an eviction with the rent amount on this copy of the lease being different then the lease I signed and had my own copy of. So I guess it's ok to just change the rent amount as it suits the office? Once I saw this I did fight the eviction to request the correct amount of rent shown and was waiting for documents from the courts to show exactly how much I was due. I did not receive any of mail until the 15th because even though I asked for my mail to be held it was still being stuffed in my mailbox. My heart sank when I saw that the letter that I was waiting on was in this pile of mail that has been being stuffed in my mailbox with no way of getting any of this mail until I flagged down the mail lady. I wake up this morning with a 24 hour notice. I don't want to go the route of suing but if this eviction isn't lifted and I am not compensated with what I feel is a fair amount of rent due everything I have gone through in such a short time living in this community. I have had conversations with multiple lawyers that are waiting to take the case I am hoping that this gets prompt attention so that I don't have to turn to media outlet and my attorney. I have documentation of everything that was discussed in this complaint included but not limited to hard copy of the altered docs, digital video and pictures of the incident and my leg. I want to work this out amicably with the corporate yes community as I don't trust the office staff that altered my paperwork/lease. If I don't get a reply back by 3pm est today 3-19 I will be forced to go to my lawyer

YES! Communities creekside estates seagoville tx. farm animals on property, speeding cars, & loud music after hours

It's hard to enjoy ur own property when the neighbors have a rooster on their porch making constant noise. The chickens & rooster from the farm behind property are going under fence getting in the yard and on my personal porch. The cars do not slow down in community. I'm afraid to let my children play outside sometimes due to speeding of residents & their guests. The music from these cars shake my walls when they go by. And then 2 doors down in # 88 they boom their car stereo up to & after midnight. This used to b a quiet & enjoyable community but now not so much. I have more photos but site will only allow pics to b taken

YES! Communities woodlake - greensboro nc

I have tried to send the following using the customer care contact email on yes communities website, but it does not work. So, I am sending it this way. I do have someone receives it and at least acknowledge the fact that they received it. Thank you.

Good afternoon. I have lived in Woodlake for 27 years. Last month my sister in Baltimore unexpectedly passed away. This threw my finances into a tailspin, but Chris worked with me and my January and February payments were made prior to February 15. Yesterday, I received a certified letter from the attorneys advising me that my Lease was being terminated and I had 60 days to vacate. I asked Keith, the community manager, if it would be possible for me to get an additional 60 day extension, as my granddaughter is in eighth grade, and I would rather she not be in school when we move. Also, I would like to know why my lease is being terminated after 27 years. I would prefer to stay in would like, but if I need to move I am simply asking for an additional 60 days. I believe after 27 years that would not be too much to ask. Please call or email me at your earliest convenience to discuss this matter.
Thank you,
Roberta Lewis 🕉♓️

YES! Communities lexington crossing in norman ok

Spring Cleanup in the middle of Winter?!?

I want to make a complaint about the "new" manager here at Lexington Crossing in Norman, OK. When I get home tonight, there was a violation taped to my door telling me that I am required to remove "the UNSIGHTLY leaves from around my home". YES, the violation used those exact words in quotations! I decided go to the office to discuss this matter about leaves being around my home and try to explain its still winter time here. It's not even Spring when its nice enough to be outside for the typical Spring cleanup. The manager was extremely rude to me and wouldn't listen to me about the leaves being around my home. There really isn't many leaves either, because I had completed the Fall time raking of leaves and putting things away for winter. Typical Fall cleanup. I was scolded by here and was told it doesn't matter what time of year it is and that the leaves are required to be removed ASAP, also is that its not acceptable to have leaves in the yards. The thing is---my yard doe not even have a tree in it! I tried to state that I do go outside every time an pick up the household garbage that comes into my yard from the crazy OK winds. I would not be going outside on cold, rainy, icy days to rake leaves that blown in every time the winds decided kick in This type of cleanup is Spring cleanup and yard maintenance when the weather allows for it to take place. She scolded me and said it was a part of my site maintenance. I went a looked up both my rental lease and homeowners lease, neither discuss that fact about having leaves in ones yards! Since moving into my home in December 2016 as a Renter to now purchasing my home in November 2017, I have completed ALOT of yard work to make my lot look so much better. I have added lots of flower gardens and take great pride in my yard too. When March gets I will take care of my yard, just as I always have done in the past. I am extremely upset by how I was treated when discussing the matter with the manager Vicki Zwicki and also by getting such an absurd violation to begin with in the 1st place. I wished management would take care of real business that residents have been dealing with and making complainants about but not getting addressed. This new manager is a real piece of work, the prior 3 managers that were managing appears to know how to manager and care about the residents that the current one. SERIOUSLY leaves!

YES! Communities sewage

I have a horrible sewage smell coming from my home. I have let the office in my community know of this problem over and over again. This problem never gets resolved. We have office managers that do not have a clue as to what is going on. We also have maintenance men that dont have a clue as to what they are doing. This problem would probably get resolved if someone in this field of work was hired to figure it out. This issue needs resolved asap. Noone should ever live in this smell.
