Travelocity travelocity travel ins.

I purchased a travel ins. policy with a booked flight and travelocity cancelled my policy without my knowledge or permission! I emailed them to not cancel but it did not do any good.I sent copies of the emails 02/18/2018 and as of 02/24/2018 no reply.I went to their corp website and got their web address and I sent a email and it came back saying no such address!They do not want to hear about complaints because of lousy service.

Travelocity cancellation plan scam

They use TravelGuard, but say before you purchase a ticket that it is a cancellation plan guaranteed to return your money if you have to cancel. It's travel insurance, and they will not refund my money when I had to cancel the flight due to the traveler not being able to get to the departure city and back procedure problems. They ripped me off and took all the money for the trip & plan. I am furious, and they don't belong to the BBB. Headquarters says Texas, but the Attorney General of TX is useless. They just look at things, but don't intervene. It would cost more to sue them from a different State than the ticket, but I live on a fixed income and am truly upset that they took my money for nothing! This was January 2018; ticket purchased in December 2017. I also did not see the 24-hour cancellation garbage. But, the travel insurance should've covered it. Travelocity puts that as a link when purchasing tickets, but no details about what the cancellation plan is about. It's misleading and they're a rip-off! SMH

Oh, forgot to say before they refused to give my money back, they said the traveler would get my money, and I wasn't the claimant. I paid for the cancellation plan & the ticket! What kind of nonsense was that? Said they would send a check to my address with the traveler's name on it, instead of mine. WHAT? Travelocity said if they returned my money, it would be to the card used to purchase the ticket. Everybody lies with that company, and do NOT do business with them. Purchase everything through the airline, hotel, rental company, etc. You will be sorry if anything happens, you have to change plans, or you have to cancel plans. RIP-OFF, SCAM!

Travelocity flight adjustment

Travelocity web site claims customer satisfaction, free cancellation and fee free flight changes. What is not revealed is that it has to be done in 24 hours. I found cheaper flights and realized my flight dates were wrong, I have called your customer service reps many times with Saturday 2/3/18 around 3pm being the most repulsive answer from your "manager". I was really upset with the fact that Travelocity customer service says they can not change a flight even though it was the same dates. They also said they don't own the tickets the airline does and the airline will have to change it. I said I was going to file complaints against the company for false advertisement and she said she didn't care that she will suffer the consequence. Really!?! Is this how all services reps and managers are? So I called the airlines and they will not touch my reservation because I booked it through Travelocity site. So dishonest and deceiving of Travelocity reps to send me on a goose chase. Again I have contacted Travelocity customer service after I was advised they would help from Facebook and I just keep getting the same generic apology. I have not received any resolution and according to the Better Business Burial Travelocity has 22 reviews and 951 complaints soon to be 952. I would appreciate an exchange of the return flight. I would like to return 5/29/18 from Manila NH24 at 2:40 pm, NH106 Tokyo 10:55, to LAX UA 5778 to Sacramento and return with my family.

Travelocity no refund after 4 months still!

I booked a flight and it was charged to my Mastercard on April 3, 2017, with insurance. I ended up having to cancel it because the airlines changed the flight and it was an extensive amount of additional time to get to my destination. I cancelled the flight in August, 2017 and was promised a refund to my credit card. I called again on 10/25/17, 11/10/17 and on 12/19/17. Still no refund. My Case is 2948-25OCT17 and their dispute number is [protected].
I am being charged 15.49% interested on my purchase. I would like my full refund plus a refund of the finance charges incurred.
I would also like the public to be warned of Travelocity's refund issues.

Travelocity ticket cancellation refund

Following failure to travel by my son in August 2016, I tried to rebook in May 2017. On between 22 May and 1st June- I communicated with Travelocity enquiring about my airline credit- I was referred to many different agents and finally on 1st June was assured that ticket had been cancelled and I should use the airline credit by 16th December 2017.

Starting Friday 17th November, I started the process of rebooking the travel I received several mixed messages which included 1) Airline credit was no longer available 2) When I shared the messenger messages- they finally relented and we started process of looking for tickets online. - I waited for the Ticket and this was never issued despite going through motion of giving Travelocity my Credit Card number for them to get rebooking fees and additional funding (Communication from Jac on Monday heighted yellow)

Upon following up, I was told on Tuesday 21st November, that airline was not able to issue ticket, because credit had expired. I referred agent to Messenger messages and once again- they said airline credit was now available, (Msg by Ednelyne)

I called again and helped find new Itinerary. But unfortunately this again was cancelled and I received the following msg

308. As discussed over the phone, for one-time courtesy we would like to offer you a $100 coupon and you can use the coupon to book a pre-paid Travelocity rate stand-alone hotel or a package (flight + hotel) reservation. You may access the coupon by logging into your account, go to "My Account", and click "Coupons". In addition, if you would book a new flight we will refund the difference from $995.30. Please let us know how you would like us to proceed with your reservation so we can assist you further. ^Fatima 2/2

I told Fatima that because of challenge in having ticket booked and cancelled, I had gone ahead without Travelocity support to book a new ticket which I showed- I explained that $995.30- could be used to offset part of the CAD $ 1865.55 on a new itinerary. My conversation with FATIMA below advised that Travelocity would pay the airline credit

325. Please be advised that we can only refund the difference from your new flight to your existing airline credit once you have already a confirmed booking that you must purchase. ^Fatima

Unfortunately according to agent Kevin- the final message was to start the booking process all over again and that no credit would be refunded since I had already booked a new ticket.

As of today- I have purchased a new ticket to allow my son to travel for Christmas in Zimbabwe. Despite having airline credit- I was not able to use it because of the many agents and different messages that were given. I would appeal for Travelocity to reimburse the $995 due to me as this was supposed top have been used to pay for the ticket.

I would like to appeal for help in getting this refund credited to my bank as I am not a very rich person.

Travelocity accommodations

My daughter and I went on a trip to see my son who is in the military. We got to the hotel which was gross! There were homeless people living under the stairs garbage everywhere. The room I fixed the toilet myself, had to go buy pillows and pillow cases, scrubbed the floors 3 times which made no difference. Now to be back a few months to find out my 18 yr old daughter was sexually assaulted in that same hotel! We stayed less then 24 hrs. Cause I lost my s*t cause of the conditions. Now to learn this. I'll never use Travelocity again!

Travelocity buying insurance for my trip

Purchased tickets paid 470 called yesterday after to add insurance spoke 3 customer service rep who were nice and tried to help. They kept saying to try back and I did and nothing worked they kept saying it might be a system error, I then again tried this morning before the option is gone and same error issue called and spoke to 2 agents and nothing till they connected me to a supervisor who was supposed to help and if anything made matters worst, not only was she rude that it got to a point where I cursed her out out of the frustration, I asked her then to plead connect me to come one else since I was not getting any where and She refuses and said there is no one else to help. I asked her for her name which is Sonia Houston. Plus she gave me the case number e [protected]. I asked her one more time to please connect me to someone else and she said no one is is available, I went ahead and filed a complaint after with the BBB because this is so crazy how I'm a customer which purchased tickets and tried to add in isuance and the supervisor was the worst person to deal with

Travelocity hotel booking

Reservation [protected] for 10/26 depart 10/27/17. I tried to cancel reservation due to the fact they were hit by hurricane harvey. they had water and are not in operation at this time. you people said I did tried to cancel to late and will be charged. I was in the phone with your people for 1-1/2 hours and they could not contact hotel either. so I was told I am still being charged. let me ask you "if hotel is not in operation how can you charge for a service that cannot be provided, isn't that fraud, deceptive trade practices. so we go to court and I am eligible for 3 times my hotel cost correct. I will notify bank tomorrow go take pictures of unoperational hotel and post on facebook, twitter, etc.

Travelocity car rental toronto - insurance

I rented a car from travelocity in sep 30 and they charged me CAD 28.24 for insurance, instead of the CAD 11.00 announced in the website. I already contacted them by Facebook Messenger, and the attendant told me he can't do anything, this is the correct amount. Insent him the images (I also have the images proving 11.00 and 28.24).
So, I request a reimbursement for the difference - at least, because this website seems not to know about costumer service.

Travelocity booked an airline ticket online

Hi! I booked two airline tickets online to depart from CLT on 10/24 at 6:48pm UNITED. Returning back on 10/28. I paid for a cancellation plan. However, on the itinerary showed morning time instead of evening time. Immediately, I looked up their number and called them. There was a recording that said that I could change flight within 24hrs. However, they declined everything and said that I can not change this flight. This is complete fraud. I need your help.

Travelocity the money is gone for nothing

They charged me twice after I booked the tickets and didn't send me the tickets themselves.
They refused their fault and said that the issue comes from my bank. No problem. I called my bank and they said that the payment was held twice from the Travelocity side. I shared this information with Travelocity customer care, they refused to refund again.
I am looking for the justice and eager to refund my money.
It's terrible what they do.

Travelocity I would never use again

I booked a nonstop flight through Travelocity. After one week I got an email from them saying that my flight was cancelled and to rebook the ticket I have to pay $200. I also noticed a suspicious activity from the agency on my credit card. Without telling me they charged $68.
I decided to book another flight through a different company. Your service is just waste of money.

Travelocity worst service ever

I tried to buy tickets through their website but didn't succeed. So I called them and spent 4 hours of my life talking to their useless customer support. I would be happy if they had helped me, but they hadn't. Feels like I just wasted days and hours trying to fix my problem and got nothing. I will never use them again and rather book from somewhere else.

Travelocity flight got canceled

My flight got cancel by the airline, paid for insurance though travelocity, (which is a scam) they had every excuse not to help. Had to pay $300 for a hotel (12hrs before next flight) customer service was unhelpful and wanted to put the blame on the airline although I booked with travelocity. Never buy the insurance, it is worthless. I will Never use travelocity again.

Travelocity they cancelled my flight!

I booked a flight with Travelocity company and several weeks later they cancelled my flight booking. I contacted their customer service to ask what was the reason, but they did not explain anything and said that I will be given a full refund. They also said that since it was their mistake I will not be charged any extra fees, but that was a lie! Next day I received a charge and when I contacted Travelocity their support explained that was a cancellation fee! The point was the it wasn't me who cancelled and I wasn't supposed to be charged! I demanded my money back but their said that was impossible. Later I received my ticket money minus cancellation fee. Terrible site! They are nothing but bunch of liars!

Travelocity additional fees!

I booked a hotel stay for three nights via TraveloCity. There was estimated price of $90 for each night and there was nothing mentioned about additional fees.
So I made my reservation and they charged more. I checked their site very carefully several times and didn't find any information about what these fees were.
Then I contacted TraveloCity support service and they said these fees were for cleaning service, some other hotel service, taxes.
Why wasn't there any information about that? I thought I found quite a great (cheap) deal, but when all these fees were added it wasn't that cheap any more. I will not use this scam site in the future!

Travelocity hotel booking

Never use this terrible site Travelocity, they are the worst ever! Because of Travelocity my vacation was ruined.
I went on a vacation and booked a hotel via their site and they took my money but did not book anything. I received faulty confirmation message and thought that everything was fine.
When I arrived at the place hotel manager said that there was no booking under my name! I had to waste extra money to book another place to stay.
I just came back and I'm extremely mad and I will do everything to teach them a lesson. I don't care even if they refund me, the fact is that my vacation was ruined and that happened because of them!
Never again and stay away from this joke site!

Travelocity what a joke and scam!! ridiculous cancellation fee!

I used Travelocity 5 times in the past and everything was fine, I never had any problems with them. Unfortunately my last booking went down the hill and that changed my mind about them. I will not book with Travelocity ever again and will use another service.
Due to some circumstances I had to reschedule my flight and I contacted Travelocity and asked them to change the date. They did that pretty fast and they also charged my card! The amount they charged was almost the same as the price I paid for my ticket! And the worst part was that they said nothing to me, they just took my money without my permission and when I asked for a refund they said "no". What a joke and scam! You, Travelocity, just lost a long time customer!

Travelocity stolen credit card numbers

I had booked two airline tickets on travelocity and needed to make flight changes one with my business credit card and one with my personal card. You can't make changes online so I had to call to make the changes and provide both of my credits to the agent to make the changes via a call center in India. The changes were made but 2 hours later both of my credit cards were fraudulently charged over $500 each for a vacation booking website, in of all places - India! So I had to get both credits cards cancelled and replaced and it was a major hassle. I called Travelocity to complain and of course had to talk to the "manager" at the call center in India who tried to tell me there was no way that that could have happened. Why would I make this up and who has time or energy to deal with that stupidity. I was appalled that they would do nothing to deal with it. Be careful about providing your credit card number over the phone to any of those online sites. The irony is not lost on me that a person stole the info and it wasn't stolen online which is what most of us worry more about.

Travelocity website and customer service

Warning: booking with travelocity
Can make you a felony suspect!

Yes, it happened to me. Travelocity booked and confirmed my itinerary, but due to a software defect it was billed to some random other credit card. When I noticed it, I tried to call customer service and say "you got the wrong credit card here. Give them their money back and here, take my credit card number and charge it for this itinerary." this would have been a reasonable and easy solution. But noooooo!

They insisted that there was no defect and that there would not be any refund ever to anyone! Ever! They accused me of entering the other credit card (how in the world would I know their number, name, address, expiration, security code? Only travelocity has all that info. I got them to cancel the itinerary, but the poor sucker out there is out hundreds of dollars, and this unauthorized use of credit card is associated with my itinerary! I will be no. 1 suspect in a felony! Today I went to see my lawyer to head off what might happen. Travelocity has defective software and is negligent, reckless, unreasonable, and abusive! Truly bizarre!
