Cool! I love its shampoo
I bought ginger anti-dandruff shampoo from The body shop. The saleswomen recommended for me since it is good for dry hair. Even though it cannot treat hair loss, it made me comfortable after cleaning.
Just bought some lovely body butter from here
Just bought some lovely body butter from here. Keep an eye out for the sales that they regularly have. You can quite often get free delivery on items too. Delivery is always quick and the items are well packed.
Plus you can rest in the knowledge that no animals were harmed making these products :)
I highly recommend The Body Shop
My favorite body butters, body moisturizers, scrubs, and oils are from Body Shop :) Their products use natural and ethically sourced ingredients, which is important to me, and the scents are always heavenly. I especially love their body butters, which leave my skin feeling silky smooth, and hydrated. The makeup line is also impressive, with a range of shades and formulas to suit different skin types and preferences. The prices are reasonable, and the customer service is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!
Good quality; lots of sales
Some products can be on the high end for pricing; however they have sales regularly. If you wait for sales 40-70% off sometimes with free shipping you can get some fantastic deals.
I have never waited more than a week for items to be delivered, including boxing day sale which was their busy time. Never been disappointed in quality of products I received.
Favorite is the body butters, love the soft, subtle scent of coconut body butter and the Strawberry Body Butter. Fragrance lasts all day but not overbearing and skin is noticeably softer to touch. Husband loves the hemp lotion as he works outside all winter and it really heals and protects his skin from winter chapping and cracks.
Fantastic Products!
My husband purchased The Body Shop's Vitamin E skin care kit for me for Christmas. I haven't stopped using their products since. The toner and the night cream are my new holy grain moisterizer and cleanser. Since then I've ordered from their website many times. One time I ordered the full size Vineyard Peach body butter (along with the Green Candied Apple body butter). Everyone online raved about the amazing peach scent so of course I had to get it! When it arrived I smelled it and it smelled more like sage than peaches. I went to my closest Body Shop store and asked if I could exchange it. All they had to do was look up my order on the computer and said yep we'd be happy to make the exchange. I grabbed the Morninga Body Butter and was out of there in 5 minutes! Great customer service, so helpful and easy to work with. Not to mention the scents are to die for and their skincare products are fantastic!

Odour and quality issues in products
I have been a very loyal customer of your brand since its launch in Pakistan. I’ve been using the products due to its color, texture and reliability. But recently I’ve been viewing weird smells and taste in the lipsticks as well a particular odor in shades. I brought one lipstick (silver covering one) in August 2013 and it had a weird taste in it and after its application the stickiness appears on lips due to which I’ve to remove it. Further, a silver lining also started appearing on the lipsticks which made me quite suspicious. Within that span I bought the eye shades which had foul smell. I’ve been using the products therefore, I know the smell and taste of them. When I complained to your outlets in Pakistan they stated that it is due to new organic ingredients, to which I totally disagree. I again brought a lipstick and a perfume in December 2013 and same thing happened with lipstick due to which I had to switch to L’Oreal which was far better then bodyshop. The fragrance of body shop also wore off after 2 – 3 hours.
My mother gifted me again a lipstick, shade and foundation of bodyshop in April on my birthday. I started using it after a month and I am having same issues again, with again a silver lining coming on my lipstick. I read online regarding it which says that it might cause cancer due to expiry. I went to your Dolmen City Clifton – Karachi outlet today and they stated that the product is having organic ingredients that why it is having these issues. With totally dissatisfied and angry attitude, I decided to write to you.
It will be beneficial on your account if you look into this matter within Pakistan as you are definitely loosing clients. My office colleagues have stopped using BodyShop and have suggested me to use other brands. Even my sisters are no longer user of your fragrances stating they wear off quickly. I still use your body wash and moisturizers but I doubt of using them now.
Please look into this matter.

Please note that I went to your The Body Shop store (#1130) located at Rockefeller Center, NYC. We had a large group and I was excited to have the FREE Body Butter coupon that was online. This was an expensive trip. I think that I dropped $500 on shopping. I was absolutely shocked with the attitude and rude way that I was treated in the store. The other adults in my group were given coupons for in-store offers. I asked my brother in law what he had and he told me to go over the the girl at the door. When I approached her and asked if there was something in the store, she said "no". I said, "well my neice and brother in law received coupons" and "can you tell me what they are for". She said that there was nothing. ? Did she look at me then not realize that I was with them. Honestly, it is not a very big store. We all walked in together. My neice told me to spin a wheel for discounts. The employee was not helpful at all. I said, "I must not have won anything" and "can you tell me where your body butter is" because I have a FREE coupon. She points to a shelf on the left. I grabbed my favorite coconut body butter and went to the register. There was someone at the register but the girl from the floor raced back there and asked to see my driver's license. I complied but had never been asked that before. She said that I could not use the coupon because it was ONLY for Body Shop members. I looked at the coupon and even read it out loud and it does NOT state that disclaimer. Then the employee said that she had a telephone call from the corporate office disallowing the coupon. I said that it was false advertising not to comply with the coupon or offer a solution. Who was she to make this up as she went along?. At that point there were other people in the line, including my neice, so I took my coupon and went away. She said, "MERRY CHRISTMAS"!
Then my neice had Body Butter with a FREE coupon and also a bogo coupon that she received in the store for the wheel of discounts. She was not given any BOGO offer and put the 2nd body butter back. She is a Body Butter member, but her coupon was refused as well! The employee offered no explanation for not using the coupon and my neice realized the 10% after she left the store. This is very clearly false advertising!
Is there any way to take advantage of a good deal with it is out there besides having some young 20 something make me feel like crap? I ask you?

They advertise STEALS AND DEALS on the Today show. $124 value for $39. I place an order with two items. My order shows up WITHOUT the STEALS and DEALS promotion item, and no explanation, no 'out of stock' message, NOTHING on the invoice. After being on hold for 45 min. I was told it was discontinued and they would refund my money. THIS IS DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING. I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WIth THE BODY SHOP and recommend that NO ONE DO BUSINESS WIth THE BODY SHOP.
This is false advertizing you ### and my aunt was cheated by that person and so was I even though I am a member of the body club so before you go around saying something ###ed think you idiot.
Inpolite Sales Staff
I was in the Body Shop located in Copley Square in Boston. I completed my purchase and as the sales associate was ringing me up she started talking to me about the Body Shop frequent shopper rewards card, but she suddenly stopped and asked me "Are you from this country?'. Yes, I have a very slight accent, but I have been living in this country for over 20 years. I thought it was extremely offensive and rude question. Why is the sales associate from the Body Shop deciding who gets the rewards card based on the accent? Offer it, don't make any comments and let the customer decide. I don't think I'll be going back to any of the Body Shop locations.

Horrible Customer Service in Store
My friend had an accident in the store and one of the sales rep who was around her late 40s-50s was SO RUDE. She made a comment on how drinks were not allowed but if that was true, the security guard would have stopped us and told us that. The sales lady then continued to talk loud about my friend as if she was not there and basically she was rude and inconsiderate. She was definitely not taught her sales rep etiquette. That was only half of our horrible experience there. I found out the 5 for $30 sale was only targeted towards certain products in the store so I was kind of disappointed but then I saw the buy 3 get 2 free sale sign. So I of course picked up 5 skincare items. Once they rang me up, the total came out to be a lot. I checked the receipt and asked them why it was so much. The second lady said the sale only applied to the body lotions. I made a mistake which is my fault BUT the older woman goes "CAN'T THEY READ?" Bottom line, I love the body shop and their customer service in the store but that one trip to the Rockefeller store just ruined my impression and mood of the store. I don't know how that older woman got hired but someone higher up needs to do something about her behavior otherwise they'll lose a lot of customers this way.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of the body shop because of their products and customer service in OTHER store locations. But this store, I HATE. A little advice to you guys if you're ever near visiting, don't go to that store. Horrible customer service and that woman (Mindy? Minnie? Something with beginning with an M, I think) will ruin your shopping experience and at the same time, she'll make you feel stupid.
Omg, are their service always so bad since 2010? I went to the body shop store near my school once. The lady recommended me many things on sale, gift sets but I just need a travel sized body scrub for my trip. When I checked out, She showed unhappy and said to me that even though I have membership card, the points can not be counted as you just buy travel size stuff. I felt very angry about the way she talked.Today, I visited here again to restock some shower gel /lotion. There was another staff asking me immediately "what bring you in today" with an unhappy face once I stepped in. I said I want some shower gel and I want to looked around. She ignored me the entire time then ( I was the only customer that time), not helping me or anything. After I tried some lotions, she suddenly asked me: do you have any question ? I was like, what? What should I say? Why are you so mean to customers? Then I just left. Omg, their service, are sooooo bad. I do not want to go into their store anymore ! So disappointed and upset !
I visited the body shop store in the forum value mall whitefield and I ve got a very bad service from there. The staff was not at all interested in the customer's requirement and she was not even clarifying my queries.I went to buy a body butter and dropped the plan because of worst customer service. I love the body shop brand but why the body shop is ruining their name because of the bad attitude of the staffs over there. I ve visited the store on 8 th may 2017 afternoon by 2.45 pm but I ve failed to note the staff's name.
Regards Annu
I bought bodyshop face oil a week back...woke up with a swollen face every morning. what a waste of money.
I am disappointed with the customer service by a staff named Rumi at the body shop, forum mall Bangalore. The previous day another sales girl mentioned about giving a sample of one of the body shop product. But she forgot to give it and the next day when I checked about it, this girl Rumi very rudely refused to give me a sample. I am a body shop member and this rude behaviour is very disappointing.
I bought hand cream at Body Shop the seams are leaking out hand cream what a mess
I had a similar experience in Bangalore Body Shop ( at Forum Mall, Whitefield)
They had a 50% discount as a promotional scheme and I bought Body Butter. When I opened the product the material inside had curdled and gave out a really bad stench.
The expiry was April 2013 as per the sticker of the marketing company Quest Retail which imports this product in India. They have hidden the actual original manufacturers expiry of the product using a new sticker. In away the Indian franchisee is spoiling the name of the MNC brand by selling expired products at a steep discount to clear stock.
As a MNC it is surprising that Body Shop has not put in place systems to track this kind of cheating of customers . This will injure the brand value over time if people in India continue to get expired products ( under special promotional offers launched by Indian franchisees). This is a serious offense in the West and god forbid if there is an adverse chemical reaction on the face of one of the BodyShop clients due to using expired products then it will lead to litigation. I plan to take this up in the Consumer Forum and expect the company to be responsible enough to prevent such occurrences in the future.

I recently had a really bad experience in that same store. I wonder how they do any business at all. Must be the same snotty girl. I guess they do well because it is Rockefeller Center but they could do a much better business if they got rid of the ridiculous employee.
Im the friend who went to the body shop with her. I was hoping to try one of their products but that sales representative made me not want to buy anything from them. Talking ### about a customer in front of their face is one of the worst thing a sales representative can do, and this lady did it without blinking an eye in front of OTHER customers. We could have just said nothing and move along but I never seen anyone treat a customer that way.
