Tata Indicom Walky / Rude behavior from true value hubs!

The first thing now i struggle for is how to choose the subject of my complaint. I had every type of complaints with this so called Tata Indicom Cheaters and really the present subject is only a tip of the iceberg. The story began when i took a walky post paid connection of 349 Rs plan 4 months back. I used the phone mainly for internet access from 10pm to 6 am as only this company offered this service in our area of living for "free". I was happy even with the very poor internet speed until my bills started to come. There is itemized bill and my calls cost me as low as 55 Rs per month as i made a few calls but the internet billings started to rise.Internet usage was not detailed in the bill ( as regarding the time of usage) and billed 400 to 1000 RS per month even without using the internet at the non peak paid hours. My patience stayed for 4 months and then i decided to get out from this service by canceling the walky. For that i called the customer care and the one of the dumpiest (i have literally more than 100 Gb's of data to prove it) people in the country responded to me by saying that i should file a written application in the True Value Hub. Guys all the real "funs" began after this. I went to a True Value Hub opposite the Thripunithura Private Bus Stand to submit the application. The guy at the Hub, in the usual arrogant style, demanded my needs and when i said i have to cancel my Walky he started to question me regarding address, phone number, and the reason to leave connection etc in the style of third rate police officer in the good old days movies and my adrenaline got pumped in no more than 2 minutes and had a good verbal war at the Hub. I demanded him to behave politely (or normally) and his response was how one can behave politely more than like this. Had a good time there and went home without filing the application and thought i shall make a complaint to the regional manger of Kochi and so called the customer care number. After the usual delay i got connected to a customer care fellow and to him a regional manger was a new concept!. He was more interested in transferring my Walky phone to another one and as my enemies are intelligent i said no to him and demanded the number of person to make a complaint of the TRue Value Hub. He directed the call to a lady called "supervisor" and she was too interested in transferring the phone to any one of my "enemies" and finally discussed the matter of misbehavior from True Value Hub. She said she will register the complaint and finally said don't know how to do it. Meanwhile she offered me 200Rs or so in my every month bill if i stay with their service!

As said by her i am now going to cancel my connection by filing an application at another True Value Hub. My email to the nodal officer may help you understand their service better. Here is it "Sir, I have a will tata indicom connection ([protected]) and my experience with your True Value Hub located just in front of the Thripunithura Private Bus Stand, Ernakulam is one of the bitterly unpleasant incident in my life time.

After 4 months of consistently higher bills (which i have paid in time without any complaint) i decided to get my connection canceled.Today (22/12/2017) i went there to give a written letter for canceling my connection as told by your customer care service. I think you have the "Mentally Deranged" people as representatives in true value hub. He (the guy at Thripunithura True value Hub) started to question my name and phone number as a third rate police officer does and i had the worse time of my life at ur True value hub.

It is just the best way to behave to a customer who is paying all the bills at correct time!. You and your team has done a good job Mr. Nodal Officer. I had connections with many networks and this was the first time i got in a "True Value Life Time Offer". My present concern is to get out from your "circle" as speedily as possible A quick search in the net revealed that i am not alone in this world of "Tata Cheats" and want to make TATA to all my services with you. I know this letter will not be useful for changing your attitudes and behavior but i am making a "Genuine Natural Response" as one among your "Cheated Customers"

And one more thing, the statement by your customer care supervisor "No one misbehaves without a corresponding misbehavior from the customer" is a philosophically motivating statement to me and i express my gratitude to Tata Indicom Services for teaching me these high grade concepts. I now understands your Motto "DO MORE AND LIVE NO MORE"

And finally my advice is not to get in to any post paid services from this company. If you have no other choice then and only then chose their prepaid services, you will at least know how much you are going to lose beforehand.

    The walky connection is two years old. It is used primarily for STD calls. We discovered last month that we are paying far higher rates than prevalent at present. On complaining, we were told it is our fault as we had not changed from our 'obsolete' plan to the current One India plan.

    Change to the new plan was refused until January 2017.

    Finally, since the last week, the phone is disconnected, despite regular payment of bills for the last two years.

    Have now resolved to stop using the service and have taken an Airtel fixed line instead.

    Tata Indicom Walky - Non receipt of security deposit!

    I have surrendered my tata indicom walky on the date of 5/3/2017 at cannaught place hub new delhi agency code is CPTVH. Whereas my account no. was 9001676291 and the telephone no. was 011-65875693. Now three months has passed away but the refund of security deposit of Rs. 1000/- is still not received.

    Tata is a big cheater!

    I too had the bitter experience form tataindicom postpaid division, from the past one year. I never got the correct billing in the past one year, in addition to that when I ask the customer care executive, they behave like the people just came from deep forest with their specular rude behavior. Even the nodal officer replies with an intelligent message not at all related to my compliant.

    Tata Indicom Walky - Very poor services!

    I'm an tata customer since last 6 months we are using this walky. The time of purchase tata executives were behind our life for buying their connection. With lots of promises but after that they didn't showed us a good responses. After having faith on them we disconnected our 4 bsnl connection any got connected to them. Out of which 2 r office no which we need a lot any 2 are res no. Since the beginning of the day we are launching complaint 4 battery prob and after 6 month they showed us a response and changed our battery but still the battery is not working properly.

    I have a great experience with a Tata Indicom Senior Staff of Kochi . Tell me how to complaint to his superiors in Kochi or at the head Office. He has cheated by taking cash to install the repeater .

    i am too very much agree with you complaint. the Tata indicom servise if poor like anything the person who work under them r rural no education, nothing, i think this is the main reason they are not having any boom in tele line like airtel Voda phone idea have.
    i think Kajol and Ajay would have to leave this company for add.

    hi aim sukesh in 2017 June i join tatatelecom as a drict sales for CCB and PTB for PCO connection in wast work in kerala in thrissur dristit i took four conniction for one costumber but Tata delivery only the PCO Booth now going to two years they did not give the connection until know i took the dd under the name of tata telecom sn plaza kochi the costumber complinde ther is no proper responce now the costumer he is going to a post a case in the court against tata plese hely me i want to know the kerala head for telecom and i need guid how to move for file a case i have dd; number and Cafe no for the connection help me plese

    No refund of money is not the fault of TATA. They do refund the money back. I have worked there previously. The employees of Tata take the money that the customers should get. In many cases the customers are not even aware of the refund they are entitled to. Its very easy to fool them. I should admit, I also enjoyed some of it when I was there.

    I have worked in the telecom industry previously. Switched many employers. I can tell you, this is standard even with Airtel. People who do not find out what the latest plans are, end up paying the same old higher rates. But if the rates increase, all of them will promptly change your plan to the higher rates. This is how all of them (I've worked with 4 big names) work. However, there is good news for you Ms. Sangeeta. The solution to your complaint is that, as a consumer, you should be a little more vigilant. Not just with Telephone/Internet SP's, but everywhere else. Groceries, Consumer Electronics... you name it, this is the standard trick. They lure you in. They try to make you loyal to their brand. Then they rip you off. Every 3/6 months keep checking your bills and see if there are any alternatives that are cheaper/better. Do your research. Internet forums are a great help. Brands are just a sham. A ploy to make you loyal and then rip you off. Don't hesitate to change your brand every now and then. And don't forget to share your experiences with the rest of the folks on forums. Just once in 3 to 6 months, depending on your convenience. We can help all of us. The consumers.
