Exploria Resorts Lack of information given at arrival at summer bay welcome centre.

I booked this vacation package 1922426 for myself and partner. because my partner has been delayed and will not now be arriving until late 19th feb I was not permitted to do the "tour and presentation". Therefore no further information was made available to me at all in fact I was refused any further help. Consequently having been here 7 days I have not been able to avail myself of the attractions which should be part of my package. Further I am unsure of where to go next, how to secure a hire car or get any sense out of anyone connected to Exploria. On limited funds I have booked into a motel nearby and because the headquarters are not available weekends are stuck in the interim.
The help ( ? ) from the VIP centre certainly is nonexistant pathetic and totally unsympathetic with my situation.
Nowhere on the limited email information does it show the departure day of the Bahama cruise portion, the check in date for Daytona, nor info regards Costa Rico stay.
Having extended ourselves to make this Vacation after delays due to major injury which resulted in the loss of one leg my dissappointment is nothing compared to my anger and disgust at the lack of care exhibited to your "valued customer".

The only thing memorable about this "vacation" is the lack of care and attention, surly exploria staff, and disgust at having wasted thousands of dollars on this package along with the airfares and other cost incurred to be here for no relaxation nor enjoyment.
Because of the wasted time poor treatment and waste of hard worked for funds, A full refund of the package and airfare required is expected.
Please ring [protected] asap or email [protected]@xtra.co.nz

Please count me in for any class action law suit against this scam. I wish I wasn't pressured into believing any of this was good for my family! Natasha is a liar and this company are nothing but crooks. I have written to them. Contacted natasha about her selling my unit after buying because she told me they have a "buy back" program. Liar liar! She gave me a number to call and they basically laughed at me. Im stuck have been faithfully paying everything but want these people thrown in jail. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Exploria Resorts taking money & not giving you full information need a refund

I was offered a holiday package with $3, 000.00 off & needed to pay $898.00US. Was given a spiel about what was included eg. 5 nights in Summer Bay, 3day 2 night cruise to the Bahamas, another 4days 3 nights a East Coast Central, Florida. I was asked if there was any reason we wouldn't be able to take this holiday & I replied no, not at this stage. We had not long come back from 3 weeks in N.Z. However, both my husband & I in the last couple of weeks have had some tests ordered by a Cardiac Specialist. Some results had come back & he had advised us not to take any holidays where we needed to fly. I rang VIP customer care & explained the situation & they were very argumentative. First spoke with Mark & he was fine but then put be through to Delores, who just wouldn't listen to what I was saying & trying to explain the circumstances. She said your health is YOUR problem & we won't be refunding anything back to you. We got nowhere with her until she then said give it to friends or family. I said that there was no-0ne we knew who would take it & she said :Well I will extend the time from 18months to 30months. I said the Specialist said he didn't know if we would ever be able to fly. She then said There are places in Australia you can use it which sounded better. I was told to go to www.Travelsavingsdollars.com Last Saturday, 26th November, 2016, we received word from the Cardiac Specialist that my husband needs Open Heart Surgery, which means we definitely can't fly.
I don't know why they can't return our money due to health reasons.

Exploria Resorts if its a scam

on 16th of feb 2016 got a message to look into was a promotion deal for this resort just had to ring with in so many seconds. then they answered was saying it was just a promotion to promote the resort. (florida sunshine holiday) Itinerary is orlando florida hotel with resort amenities 6 nights.
car rental 7 days or theme parks instead.
daytona beach hotel 3 nights
bahamas cruise2 nights
guanacaste costa rica 4 nights
retail price $3, 898.00 todays discount $3, 000 my price $898.00
got every place up on computer so I did give my details over the phone and bit more converted into australian dollars, said they will send everything out when booked . have 18 mths to decide but want to know 60 days in advance. we can't get our money back if we pull out but can give it away or sell it to a friend. got customer no 402uk021416 and it is for 4 people they can help us with our fares if I want. and all we have to do is walk round the resort for 90 min.. so excited told people and straight away scam they said, I thought well i didn't get it for nothing and I had numbers to ring so rang thinking i will not get through but i did spoke to the receptionist and the main bloke which is Jason Davis and told them about being a scam and she knew who i was straight away said i am jennifer from ausie, and said that they were a reconized resort and they are just promoteing their resort and up to me weather i take it up or not. so i am still up in the air. I told them that i have heard that we might get there and there is no accomodation for us and they will not reconize us. and she just said i don't know what more to tell you. as i told her it is going to cost a fare bit in fares for us so.I have reservation number and for any questions I have read a lot on this sort of same holiday but was not the promotion one and they didn't have as much info as i have so what do you think

Exploria Resorts phone scam, don't let me cancel

I was approached by a telemarketer about a vacation in Orlando Florida, and since we had thought about going there soon, I was willing to listen.
They promised me 5 nights two bedroom suite in Orlando, nights in Florida east coast, 2 cruises for 2 people each for up to 7 days and 4 nights in Cancun all inclusive.
I would have 24 month to use the vacation certificate and could book the cruise and the Orlando vacation together since it is quite a long distance from Canada.
I could cancel indefinitely and would get my money back.
I was not sure if I wanted the package but they said just cancel when your husband does not want this...
So I signed up for it and gave them my credit card number for the 299 US.
When I received the welcome e-mail, the same day, it stated completely different rules, I had only 12 month to travel, have to book the cruise 90 days in advance and can only book that after I was in Orlando, and the package is only refundable for 30 days.
I have called them the same day, talked to a person who put me through to a manager, Josh, who promised me to look into it and rectify everything for me, he would call me back in the next hour...never received a call, that was on Dec. 30. 2014.
I did not call till Monday following, since it was a holiday weekend and I thought they need time to work on it.
When I called again Monday Jan 5th, I was told that if I want to cancel they have to forward this to a manager who would call me back in the next 3 days, I waited for another week.
I called again on January 12th, (talked to Jenny) and was told that the last week did not count for the three days since they were so busy, so I would have to wait another 3 days.
Did that, did not get a call.
Called again on January 16th, an automatic voice told me I would be first in line, I could hear the click, to put me in the waiting line every couple of minutes and had waited 45 minutes.
Hung up and hid my number and called again, got somebody after 2 minutes, (talked to Brian) when I very politely asked to be forwarded to a manager he did not want to and when I told him my certificate number he checked it and said just one minute, and hung up on me...
I have called another time, got hung up too.

I have contacted my credit card company to get my money back and I will contact the better business bureau and I have contacted RCI.
I am sick and tired of this game and this is really not helping to make time share more attractive to anyone.

I will spread the word about this resort and this time share.

Sincerely

S.K.

Poconos

In 2018, my friend and I went to the annual car show at Javits Center in New York. At one of the booths we were given gifts to stay at Fairways at Poconos Villas but had to attend a 90 minute presentation. We accepted the gifts. On October 13th 2018, we went to the Poconos where we attended the presentation. During the presentation, we were in a large group where pictures were shown. We were then separated. My friend and I was brought to a desk where a sales rep joined us. The sales rep was of Jamaican descent and I am while my friend is from Haitian so we felt at ease. The rep told us the timeshare was an investment and how she was able to pay her maintenance fee from money she received from the company when her condo was rented out. She told us about a platform called the marketplace where we would get cheaper air flight, hotel and car rental prices. There was also a section on the platform where we could allow our family and friends to use with a code and we would get points for every dollar spent. This point could be used to pay for maintenance fee as well as put towards airplane tickets, hotel and car rental costs carried out on the platform. She also discuss how ownership rights would allow us to vacate at different properties in different countries in their program. They didn’t have such options in Jamaica but there was a lot of options in the rest of the Caribbean as well as across the globe. This sounded interested but We declined because we could not afford it. The sales rep went for her supervisor and she went back over what was said earlier. Then after declining again she went for her boss and after the persuading we accepted. I visited the Poconos Villas after the signing to see what we had purchased but was not able to see it because of renovations. I went back after Club Exploria took over the contract and again I could not see the condo that we purchased. Instead a similar size condo was given to me to stay. The condo was outdated with outdated furnitures, striped painting, and the patio floor board lifting. When ever we requested to use our week, the location we wanted would never be available. The cost to use the marketplace platform to book air tickets, hotel or car rental were more expensive than any other website. After a year we realized we were scammed. The presentation was misrepresented. It states that I owned a condo which I have never seen, used or benefitted from. We were paying a loan that we took from Club Exploria and obviously the only person/company that has been benefiting from this agreement is Club Exploria. One of the worst part of it, it that Club Exploria is reporting the loan to the credit reporting agencies, which is negatively affecting my credit report. Club Exploria has used fraudulent misrepresentations, promises and high pressure sales tactics ,which is illegal, to obtain a signed agreement which in turn would make the agreement void. I have made a complaint to the BBB agency and Club Exploria respond with a regenerated response..’we took over the contract from Summer Bay and we see where the agreement was been properly obtained and we’re not responsible for misrepresentation that was done during the presentation. I’ve contacted Club Exploria numerous times and keep getting the same response…’we can not terminate your timeshare’. Why are they still allowed to operate? Why aren’t there any help from these different consumer protection agencies?

I am sorry that you are experiencing the same problem that we have experienced. Yes there is no way of getting out of the contract We are really in trouble our contract is until 2052. Purchased it in 2003, we have used it three time since then. I use it as an exchange, but now I can not get any one on the telephone to deposit my week. I hate it, I am so angry with myself for believing what they were selling. I wish someone would do a class action suit,

Good luck

great great great - same thing happened to my husband and I - had 30 days to cancel for refund. Am waiting for someone to ring, have rung numerous times, have notified visa fraud dept who are looking into this. These people are an absolute disgrace to America and their tourism. More people need to know about exploria vacations and how they exploit people.

Exploria Resorts money from my account

This company bulldozed me by giving me all this free stuff at this resort, plus a cruise discount prices. They promised they would not take any money from my account it was to just hold my spot and I had 30 days to decided. I immediately went to my account online and they took $249, 00 from my account and I am PISSED. I called my bank and they indicated that amount is pending and if I could get them to send a fax stated they were not taking this amount because I cancelled the deal with them. I called them back and they would not send a fax to my bank and they indicated that they had 24 hours to get the money back to me. I'm on disability and I told them that I couldn't afford for any money to come out of my account at this time AND THEY DID IT Anyway! I want my money back into my account ASAP

Exploria Resorts holiday package

Summer Bay Resorts. Was on a Website and told I had won $3000 as I was viewer number such and such, had to phone straight away. Did so and was told I had won $3000 towards a package holiday in the US if I paid the remaining $498 (covered a holiday for 4 people). I agreed and received phone number and websit details for booking the holiday and was told I had 30 days to reconsider if I changed my mind. I have changed my mind and tried to call for a refund. All numbers given to me and those found on website are disconnected and I can't get hold of anybody.

Exploria Resorts rip off! beware it's a scam!

I purchased a vacation but didn't get to use it. A year later I receive another charge on my account for a little less than the one I really purchased. I disputed the charge on my credit card because I didn't authorize it but they sent the paperwork from the vacation I DID purchase so my credit card co, charged back the amount & I am still fighting it. They tried to do the same to my Capital One card charging $152 but Capital one is very good about not allowing FRAUD. BEWARE of Summer Bay Vacation SCAM! It is no Good & you will get ripped off!

I can't believe that as I am looking at all the reviews - a pop-up message appears below - telling me that I have won $3000 off a holiday and I must ring within 4 minutes.
The reason I am looking at the reviews is that I actually called about an hour ago called after receiving a similar message and was subjected to rude, intimidating, condescending high pressure sales tactics to get my credit card details after a sales pitch about the "holiday". I eventually declined and had the call abruptly terminated.

Exploria Resorts nightmare holiday

I nearly got caught out today and feel very ***.They said they were giving me $3000 off all sorts of holidays and that i only had to pay $898 for 4 holidays and a car rental.

Anybody asking you to pay that much money straight away on the phone sounds very dodgy. The sales person even offered to hold while i rang my husband to discuss it!She said they were paying for the call but i haven't checked the phone bill yet as they probably weren't.They wanted the money there and then without being able to provide any solid assurances of what i was paying for. They obviosly thought i was difficult because i was put onto the supervisor. They sound very friendly and chatty.I'm so glad i did not take my 5 kids (age 3 to 9)half way round the world to have a nightmare holiday. What a lucky escape!

Just another Grand Seas ripoff. I've owned a 2 BR unit since 2004 and was billed over $875 not including membership to that worthless resort club, Navigo (aka: Nevergo). I've been a victim of their bait and switch tactics 3 times including their lastest switching my week 7 (Race Week) to week 8 without warning. That reduced my rental share by 75%.
GS units are worthless. Check eBay. You can't even sell one for $1.

Exploria Resorts is it a scam?

We were duped on New Year's Eve with a pop up screen on the computer that we were the 1, 000, 000 visitors to a site and had won $3, 000 worth of vacation with SBR and took up their offer of 5 nights Orlando, 1 week's car hire, 3 nights Daytona, cruise to Bahamas, etc. etc. We paid $898 extra via credit card. This morning we have read all the scam reports so have tried to cancel and block the payment. Payment has gone through and no one available on phone because it's New Year's Day. However, on all these reports I have read most are from people who cancelled. I have not seen anything from anyone who went ahead with the offer. Can anyone tell me what it is actually like and what extra payments are involved when you get to Orlando?

What can we do to terminate our contract without hiring a lawyer?

Exploria Resorts rip off

They are an operator to advertise for resorts only - They call me with a special kind of special promotion for their resorts in US and worldwide, good deal I paid about $561.95 for the following as list in my Vacation Package Purchase confirmation letter -5 days/4nts in Puerto Rico -5days/4 nts in costa Rica- 5d/4nts in Dominican Republic - 5d/4nts in Spain -4d/3nts in Anaheim CA + 2nights in one of the resorts countrywide.

I liked it specially my plans includes Spain, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico

at the same time I made reservation to Costa Rica- I have to pay USD 20 per night per person processing fee, there they gave us the old rooms and old bath and we attended 2 1/2pushing hrs forcing us to buy time share-and when I mentioned that the low quality room they mentioned to us that summer bay resort is a rip off and we could do the same prom. direct and in good room on the internet and it cost 199 USD for 1 couple all inclusive.which is true, I made a reservation on the internet direct with a resort in Cancun on all inclusive basis for 199USD for couple(promotion for time share.

Second time when I decided to make reservation to Anaheim CA they told me not available at any date- last week I tried to make Spain not available any date - that means the resorts do not allow them to promote their resorts any more -Today I request Puerto Rico they said not available too I pissed and they put me on hold, I called back they said ok but I pay 399USD room only . Now I have to go through the court If I can to get my money back if I can- They are professional in RIP YOU OFF. please stay away of this trap and let me know to whom I complain if you have experience.

Exploria Resorts initial $898 for holdiday

Have obviously been one of many sucked in by their you have won blah blah. Did not do my homework and suss them out.
Realised lots have people have been scammed by them and gave a credit card deposit of 898. All number they gave me of person agents do not exist. When you ring website always unattended. How do I cancel this holiday have not made any reservations. What are the chances of getting my money back. By time I contacted my bank to put a stop on the transaction it was too late. They said they can try and help me out the best they can if I can not get my money back
So to any one else out there who sees this advertised steer clear. I think it is worse when you are in Australia and not the country of origin. I have the confirmation letter but have not been able to print it yet.
Thanks for your time.

Exploria Resorts being ripped off

I have been scamed out of $1, 096 from my credit card account from Summer Bay Resort over a promotional holiday. I rang with 24 hours to cancel and each time was put on hold for more then 30 minutes waiting to speak to someone. I was on the phone for more than 2 hours and ringing from Australia (I informed the girl who answered the phone that I was ringing from overseas to cancel and she just put me on
hold) I am thoroughly disgusted at being treated like this. When they first spoke to me about purchasing this promotional package everyone was so nice, but as soon as you say you want to cancel they completelty ignore you. I want my money back.

I wish I had of checked this out before saying yes. It twigged when addresses were different and they gave me a site 727florida.com proving to be a fake site. It first came up Sunshine Holidays and won a $3.000 Holiday spree. I rang the number and was diverted to Summerbay Holiday Resort Florida. Same thing 6 nights Summerbay Resort, 2 Night Bahama cruise, 3 nights East Coast Central Coast Florida Beach and a Bonus 4 night Costa Rica plus 1 week car hire. All people involved are smooth and sound very professional. This happened 3 days ago. Every time I try to contact the Australian number it is diverted to the US. No answer. They wanted $1, 258.00 and I didn't have enough credit so they approved an amount of $490 as a deposit. I should have twigged even then. I kept thinking it's to good to be legit. I'm a single Mum caring for my son who has a disability and can't full time work and this has really going to hurt as it will take time to pay it off. Most likely we won't be going on holiday this year as it takes a year for me to save up to take him away. These people need to be brought to justice. I'll never trust again.

Exploria Resorts after 4 hours scammed

I received an email soliciting an awesome sounding vacation package under the heading of 5 days and 4 nights to Costa Rica. As I'm getting married on June 18, 2011 I thought this would be great and excite my
fiancee with an all inclusion paid for trip. Afterwards and it's only been
a little over 4 hours I'm really scared and upset that I could have been
taken from an "high" on upcoming dream vacation/honeymoon. They
told me and I kept notes as they went first with a perosn indentifying
himself as "Benson" to "Kevin Lovelace supervisor" then to legals dept.
identifying herself as "Rebecca." All personel were very nice and had
me so excited. I kept asking for the "catch" and they stated all I had to
do was come to Orlando stay at their resort and listen to a 90 min. time share opportunity. I stated quite clearly that I wasn't buying anything and they stated I was under no obligation to do so. Subsequently, after
paying my money I have read numerous blogs regarding how they are
scamming people. These blogs are not visible until after the purchase. All I want is my money back and I'll go through a bonefided travel agency with guarantee's of purchasing a valid although more expensive package. If the blogs were visible at that time I would never have done such a blunder. It hasn't been but hours and all I can see now is I've already emailed them and will upon business hours state my resending this transaction. Please everyone I wish I had known of your blogs prior too now I am really concerned about telling my fiancee' of my excitement and stupidity. He'll be nice, but still doesn't do much for my ability of not being able to forget "if it's too good too be true...then it isn't." Words, I have lived by but unfortunately dreaming of that day will now be taken with great caution and treading slower much slower for deals that rip people off.

My wife and I have done the summer bay thing. Not a bad trip considering that you have to do the timeshare thing. The easy way out for us is to show them our Vacation Club Membership card. They get us out real quick.

This sound exactly like what just happened to us in New Zealand, 2010 but with Astar. We went to our credit card bank and asked for a disputed payment form. Fill in all the details and attach a few copies of scams relevant to this problem available on the web site. This can take the bank a few months to sort out but it did work for us.
We have learnt not to trust any pop up advs saying you have won a holiday in America even on respectable web sites. Good Luck we feel for you.

We just returned from a promo that was sponsored by Exploria Resorts. In one word……STOP! Do NOT do business with these people! Long story short is that the sales people were very helpful and kind, and we’re willing answer our questions after we spent $17,000++++ with them. However, we were told that we were unable to access our account for 14 days. As there is a 10 day right of recission in the agreement, we thought it was odd that we couldn’t gain access until AFTER the 10 day recussion dates…….interesting……or planned? Not sure, but the real problem came the next day after we gave them our $17,000 payment in full. We were told to go to their “Welcome Center” right across the street to have our voucher verified. When we went inside to do that, we were treated more rudely by Jessica than I have ever been treated in my life. I had asked for her help with our purchase from the day before, but she said that she doesn’t do that……when I asked what the Welcome Center was for then she got nasty, and when I took a pen that was lying on the counter to write her name down, she went ballistic! She called us names, and then reported US to her company, saying we were racist, obviously telling lies to whomever! A short time later, we were asked to LEAVE the resort! They said that we used racists remarks, which we didn’t, and when asked why they didn’t review the security camera, all we got was that they didn’t need to, and we had to leave! What has happened to America, when nobody wants to hear both sides to an argument? And what happened to treating new customers with some dignity and respect? The ONLY thing I am glad about is that I cancelled the next day. If this treatment would have happened 2 weeks later, we would have been stuck! STAY AWAY FROM EXPLORIA! The product is good, but the people after the sale are rude, liars, and don’t care about the customer!

Exploria Resorts scammed me, don't buy their vacations

After purchasing an educational product for my children, a sales rep for summer bay resorts came on the line and said that I had won a 4 day 3 night vacation package to Napa Valley in California. He said the only fee that I would have to pay for were two tickets to visit all the vineyards at the cost of $248, but because of the cost he said that he would throw in a 3 day 2 night vacation package to the resort in Las Vegas, and two other 3 day night packages to their resorts located in Anaheim. The sales rep also told me that this included taxes etc, and that there were no other booking fees and no restrictions to when I could go. They did tell me I had to book two weeks in advance but that was it. I also asked if this was a promotional marketing thing that I would have to listen to a timeshare presentation etc, and the sale rep said no. So after considering everything I really thought this was the real deal and so I purchased it.

A week later I received my conformation letter and information etc. To say the least, I was pissed, everything I was told was false. In the letter it read that my package only included a 4 day 3 night promotional package in which I was required to sit through a 90 min presentation and a 3 day 2 night Las Vegas package which I was also required to sit through another 90 min presentation. The worst thing though was they didn’t give me the extra 2 vacation packages. Also on top of all that there are still additional taxes and a required reservation fee of $15 to $20 (per day). I was ticked off. I even went to other travel sites such as hotels.com hotwire.com etc to compare costs etc and come to find out it would cost me less to just book a 4-5 star hotel through these sites than it cost me for this “free” vacation.

When I called them up the customer service sucked. I was transferred and transferred until finally I got a “manager” that said he couldn’t do anything about refunding me. I argued with him for almost an hour and finally he gave me the other two 3 day 2 nightvacation packages, but that was it. They also said that I still needed to go to the 90 min presentation for EACH location or I would be charged $125 a night, and if that wasn’t enough, come to find out, you don’t even stay at their hotel, they pick a hotel such as motel 8 for you to stay at and then you have to go to their resort to listen to the presentation etc. I was livid and fuming fire at this point.

Anyway, I let a couple of weeks go by, logging in almost daily to see if they add the 2 other vacations etc and nothing changed. I then called again and went through the same tedious process of finding the right person to talk to etc and then they told me that the othervacations would only be added if I go to Napa valley first. So again I argued with them for another hour or two about what they had told me etc. LESSON to be learned, NEVER trust a telemarketer, or at least this company, because the sales reps only put in the notes that protect them and not you.

Anyway they finally added the vacation packages, BUT they apparently were in negotiations with the Anaheim and several other California resorts so I could no longer book my vacation in those areas. When I asked when I could they just said I don’t know when or if they will be available again.

Long story short, everything that they told me, and I mean EVERYTHING was false. First of all I DIDN’T win anything they offer these promotions all the time. Then they build this beautiful picture that is completely false and ends up costing you more than if you were to book it yourself through a travel site. And last but not least they then publish and promote destinations that the contracts are constantly being negotiated on so they don’t even know whether or not they even have these destinations let alone when.

After all of this I just wanted a refund, I couldn’t go when and where I wanted, I would be spending more than if I booked it myself, I would have to sit through a 90 min presentation at each location or pay an additional $125 per day, and I would be staying in a motel 8 (or similar hotel) and not even at their resort. What the heck is wrong with this picture right? You would think that they would give me a refund at this point, but this is exactly how this company makes their money. They paint this picture and then they make it a nightmare to use it, if at all.

Anyway by this point I just demanded a manager and every time they would transfer me over to the “quality assurance” dept and everyone there insisted that they were the top of the food chain and the manager that I needed to talk to. I swear that everyone in this department only knows the word “NO” so after calling about thirty different times and talking to about ten different people I called back and asked for the customer service manager, they then transferred me to a guy named Larry and sure enough he was indeed the manager (I have to say that Larry was the nicest guy I had spoken to at this company) however he said that I would need to speak with the manager of the Quality assurance department which is a guy named Kenny, he then transferred me. I’m not joking when I say that I was on hold for over an hour and a half before I was able to speak to him. I then calmly explained the situation and that I wanted a refund and all he said he could do is give me the address of the compliance department in which I could file a complaint and appeal for a refund and that it would take at least 60-90 days. The conversation kept getting heated, and when I asked him, “If you are the manager then why don’t you have the authority to refund me the money?” his response was just silence. After a long drawn out conversation he hung up on me. Which made me even more determined to get this resolved.

After doing some research I found a Summer Bay resort (one of their resorts) by their corporate office so I called and asked how to get a hold of the compliance department, so they gave me some other numbers etc and long story short I found that the compliance department manager is a guy named JAMES BAKER and he can be reached at [protected] ext: 7525

When calling Mr. Baker, and even after listening to all the recordings showing what I said and what the sells reps had promised was true, all he could say was it is past the 7 day refund policy that you agreed to so there is nothing I can do. This is when I told him ok and that I would be glad to still go to these resorts and sit through the presentations, but I also said that he should know that I will share my experiences with his company to the others within each of these presentations as well. At this point he said ok but because of this I can’t allow you to go on thesevacations, so I said ok give me a refund and he said no and then hung up.

This is why I am publishing my story and the above contact information. First I don’t want this to happen to anyone else, and second I hope Mr. Baker get so many calls that he will rethink his policies and procedures.

This doesn’t have to happen to you. My advice stay away from anything that has to do with Summer Bay Resorts, www.summerbayresort.com, River Point at Napa valley resort, www.greatvacationsnow.com, www.riverpointenapa.com, www.besttravelvip.com, www.summerbayvacations.com, and anything that has to do with Resort Services International, Inc (RSI Inc.)(www.rsitimeshares.com) which is the owner of Summer Bay Resorts, because they will scam you. There are also many other websites that they also use, so be careful.

I am also filing a complaint with consumer affairs and am looking into a small claims case as well; my attorney says it’s a slam dunk.

Hello I have just read the above comment ref Summer Bay Holidays. As the above person has had an experienced more or less exactly the same as myself I would just like to confirm that they are completely disreputable and urge anyone not to touch them with a bargepole.
There are many great holidays out there to be had. Dont waste your time and money thinking about them but choose a nice holiday from a reputable Travel Centre with no strings attached. Summer Bay does not give anything away, no matter how much they try to make you think they do. Please dont do it!

Exploria Resorts - Dishonesty, excessives fees

I have owned now for over 6 years. I am on the points system and have had nothing but problems from the time I signed the contract. The office staff is discourteous and management doesn't care about the owners concerns. I was hit with a 30% fee added to my maintenance fee while I was travelling and the Summer Bay website was under maintenance. YEs people we...
