We found the property to be unwelcoming, unkept, and had no security at the gate entrance as promised. The units on the property were in desperate need of repair during our last visit. Many years ago we converted from the weeks system to the points system and have not used this timeshare in at least 20 years. We have found over the years that the amenities that were promised when we purchased the contract are no longer available which has made visiting the resort unappealing. Due to circumstances beyond our control we are no longer able to maintain our contract. *** is a cancer survivor and is limited on the physical activity he can do. *** finds it difficult to walk long distances or climb stairs because of his back and knee pain. We are now much older and our lifestyle has changed tremendously. The Covid-19 pandemic has prevented us from traveling and has negatively impacted our financial circumstances. We reached out to Crown Resorts ourselves with these concerns, and we were told the only way out was if we had a severe medical hardship, meaning we basically have to be on our deathbeds to get out of it. That is just absolutely ridiculous to us. We have put in our best efforts and tried for the past 2 years to sell our 2 weeks with no results. We are now just trying to give back the 2 weeks to Crown Resorts with no expectations of monetary gain. The timeshare is fully paid off so there should be no issues getting this done. We have had valid issues with our timeshare and this company that should be taken into consideration.

The staff was hard to get a hold of on the phone. Called twice at the airport upon a slightly earlier arrival than expected. Told to check back around 3pm as we should be able to check in.2. There was no early check in options which is there choice. But on the phone they said it might be early. We arrived at 3:30pm. Literally, they would not even let us check in at 3:59pm. They claimed it was still being cleaned. But at 4pm, it was magically 100% done to them.3. They wrote our codes wrong on the welcome sheet.4. The door code mentioned did not work for our door. We couldnt even get anyone via phone. Had to find a maintenance guy to let us in and create a code.5. Walked in to a floor plan was not as described on the website. It was basically a deal breaker since the first floor having just two little twin beds was not going to work for my parents. 6. The place itself wasn't very clean. The carpet ends all were discolored. No soap, towels, etc.7. Went to place things in the fridge and it was WARM but definitely plugged in.8. The view was basically someone else's backyard and not as pictured or described.9. The area around the facility left a ton to be desired. In fact, it was pretty scary really. That explains the security and gates everywhere.As a result, we didn't stay a single night in there at all. I would not recommend that place to anyone ever. I have the receipt for the other hotel. I attempted to contact Vacatia directly multiple times and am not getting any resolution.
