Rite Aid inept incompetent dishonest and rude employees

store 00155
96 Dolson Ave, Middletown, NY

1/7/17 - rec'd call (automated) that rx -Lyrica needed prior authorization.
Called pharmacy and they told me they reached out to the doctor already for the authorization.
1/9/17 - I called prescribing physician's (Dr. Chantasi) office and asked if they did the prior auth for the med. They put me on hold and returned to tell me they had no request in their system for any prior auth requests, but would work on it. (I believe my doctors staff, they've spent countless amount of time and effort getting me this medication and jumping through Affinity's/CVS Caremarks hurdles and bureaucratic nonsense around Lyrica as there are no generics available and its expensive)
**Starting on the 7th I began to titrate down my dosing as this is a constant problem w this med and Rite Aid - if its not a prior auth problem they don't have enough on hand, my insurance doesn't allow partial fills, and if its a Friday I'm screwed until Monday. **
**I get sick - some sort of stomach virus**
1/13/17 - I realize I still don't have my medication & have none left at this point and call Affinity/CVS Caremark pharmacy customer care to see why this hasn't been approved. The customer service rep I spoke with says the authorization approval was given on the 10th so my rx should have been filled then. 1/13 is a Friday. She puts me on hold and calls Rite Aid. She comes back on the line to tell me that the pharmacist she spoke to (Zinnie/Zinnea?) looked it up, saw the approval in the system on the 10th, has no idea why it wasn't filled, does not have enough to fill my prescription but will forward me 9 pills to get me through the weekend.
Her doing that- giving me a partial fill when its not allowed tells me she knows they screwed up.
-So now I'm leaving for Florida on 2/9/17 and I will run out of Lyrica. My complaints:
-they (some employee) lied about sending prior authorization request on 1/7/17. If they had just asked me to call my docs to get it I would of, but apparently that's something you're supposed to do.
-when they got the authorization to fill the med, they didn't. I don't know why but they choose not too which now screws me by moving up my refill date to when I wont be here and Affinity/CVS Caremark does not allow vacation (early) fills
- I called the pharmacy to speak to Zinnie/Zinnea(?) She doesn't understand how your phone systems work because she put me on hold while I was still speaking totally intentionally because the on hold music came on, went off and I heard - "Can you talk to this woman, I don't want to deal with her right now?" I then heard giggling and someone else got on the line was totally rude, quite short with me and just wanted off the phone. I want someone to be accountable. Admit you screwed up. Admit you have a stupid policy in effect for prior authorizations. This incident described above is NOT the first time this has happened. I've used this pharmacy for years and the service just gets worse and worse. I've overheard conversations other people have had with Zinnea/Zinnie(?) and when the customer calls the pharmacy out on a mistake or an error or a delay she turns things back onto the customer and actual said to a woman the other night -well maybe you wouldn't have these problems if you learned how to plan better... the woman was there straight out of picking her husband up upon discharge from the hospital and they didn't have half the stuff she needed-that the hospital said she had to have.

I don't know what I expect from this but I'm am so sick of doing business with store 00155 Rite Aid on 96 Dolson Ave, Middletown, NY 10941

30 years ago, your doctor wrote a prescription which was A DOCTOR'S ORDER to be followed, NO QUESTIONS ASKED by the pharmacist. There are now 19 layers of PAID clerks between your doctors order, and the person who dispenses that drug over that counter to you. YOU PAY THE WAGES OF EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THOSE CLERKS! with every prescription, you or your insurance company pays for. Do you realize that? Think about it for a minute. There are now 46 people involved in EACH AND EVERY transaction that is carried out with regard to ANYTHING having to do with your healthcare. I said HEALTHcare - not pissant jobs for CLERKS (business degree or not). Tell Trump to eliminate all this costly beaurocracy! By law! First order of business, Donald.

Rite Aid discrimination, and slander

My name is james chard but go by jamie. I have been discriminated again my makeup that I wear, I use to wear it heavy but then told to do it lighter and I did. Then a new shift manager started named jackie and she told mike the store manager cause I was wearing makeup. He told me to take it off or leave. So I left cause it would of smeared and I would had to leave anyway. I'm a trangender "girl in a guys body" I should be allowed to wear makeup cause it is who I am. And mike always changes the schedule on me and then tells me at the last minute. I can take this discrimination about who I am and the disrespect I get all the time. I will get a lawyer if this keeps on.

Thank u
Sincerely,
Jamie chard

Rite Aid dirty conditions

While parking my car in the lot, I got out and stepped into a large pile of feces. It was partly covered by a cardboard box and some paper towels. My drivers side tire was covered in it and I tried to step out of my car, I foot also went into it. I went into the store and complained to a manager. She said it would be cleaned up. I picked up what I had to and left. I called the store when I got home and asked the manager for a corporate phone #. She said she didn't have it. I went online and found a site where I filed a complaint but to no avail. I also know that homeless people are always outside of the building sitting on the curb and not moving when you go past them. These people have been staying in the building after the pharmacy closes and in the morning the bathrooms need to be cleaned as there is feces smeared on the walls. Another manager called me to say that the matter was from a large dog. That is a total lie. Maybe an elephant. This was a coverup from a human.

Rite Aid rite aid brand nicotine gum

about a year ago you changed the recipe for Riteaid cinnamon gum, for a few years I was buying from your stores then you changed the gum . If you look online you will find pages of similar complaints, we want our old gum back, I think it was from Watson Labs, the new recipe is too sweet, loaded with artificial sweetener. This has forced me to buy Nicorette, more expensive and less enjoyable, also I have stopped coming to your stores and buying other items while I get my gum. thanks D Lewis

Rite Aid store manager

The store Manager does not close. If I'm not mistaking I thought store managers was suppose to close three nights out of the week. It isn't fair to the other managers to always close and for him to always open because he doesn't like closing . I also don't like he is very rude and unprofessional. I know for a fact that its a few people there that walks home and even take public transportation. If this store manager continues to be rude to some of the customers and employess. I will no longers be a customer at Rit Aid and been shopping there for years. Can you please just fix the problem!

Rite Aid unethical behaviour

I work in a pharmacy as a cashier. Granted I'm not rail thin, I'm not large either, just curvy.

One day my "wonderful boss" had a great time asking if Captain Ahab is still stalking me and can he just call me Moby. He continued on and on with whale references. It seemed as it took forever for him to stop.

I was newly hired, needed a paycheck to keep a roof over my head. I couldn't speak up for fear of getting fired or getting on his bad side. After clocking out, I walked to my car in tears. I have low self esteem as it is, and now I'm working at a barely over minimum wage putting up with this crap.

It was so bad the the other pharmacist that overheard everything made him call to apologize. Luckily I wasn't around my cell to answer. But the rambling "apology" only angered me more.

A year later I'm still there. Many other verbal, snarky comments spew from him on occasion. I speak to him only if I have to . I've gone to managers several times about him, but they ignore my pleas and say, "Oh, that's just ____, that's just how he is."

I need to get vocational training to get a better job, but the lack of income makes it impossible.

I feel trapped, I am now on anti-depressants and hypertension meds. This place is going to kill me physically and emotionally.

Rite Aid unethical behavior

4/7/16
This is a complaint from a Coca Cola Driver. I attempted to make a delivery today at 7am to Rite Aid store number 5886. As I walked into the store I asked for a manager the employee at the front of the store called the store manager David. As hr walked up he ignored me also walked away from me. As I fallowed behind him I said sir I have a Coca Cola delivery for you. He stopped at the end of the store by the backroom door. Then he said "your not welcomed here bro". I then left the store without making the delivery. I tried to make a delivery here with the same manager a couple months back where we were out of stock on a couple items for the delivery and notified him of it. He then lost it. He started cursing and accused me of stealing cases. In 15 years of service as a Coca Cola employee Ive never been called a thief. This is the worst I've ever been treated. Something needs to be done about this guy and I'm not the only driver that he's treated like this.

Rite Aid their website is way too confusing/tells you your are doing everything wrong and incorrect-cedar mill store portland oregon

Yesterday when I got my housing application I started to work on it and needed for the last 12 months a record of how much money out of pocket that I had spent on prescriptions. I went on their website and spent over 3 hours trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. When it said to enter 9 pieces of information about one of your prescriptions that I take it kept saying over and over Check and Recheck the prescription information and that it was 100% incorrect. Yet in those 3 hours it never told you what was incorrect about the prescription information. I called the Corporate office and trouble shooted with someone on the computer for over 2 and a half hours to no avail and it still said "Your prescription information is incorrect and wrong". They told me it was my computer and that is a lie. For the heck of it I went to Wal Marts site where I have 4 prescriptions and printed out the first time my records with no problems whatsoever. I tried it again Rite Aid's website and it kept saying over and over and over "Check and Re-check the prescription information". I know my prescription information was correct. The website is very difficult and redundant and is hard for anyone to figure out and is not user friendly. Companies now days are throwing 100% of Everything to the internet for you to figure out. They want it to be easier for them and harder and more harder for you. My time is valuable and I do not have hours and hours to spend on a website to print out information I need very bad for fill out my housing application that is due in a week. Rite Aid Corporation is just real real bad. Any company that would do this to a customer like me that has spent thousands and thousands of dollars in their store really could care less about me as a customer. They are the highest in the US on prescriptions and everything you buy in the store and hardly has any sales on anything. Please never go there or use the website because you will spend hours and hours getting the same result for something that is not even your falt in the first place. The internet is being used as something companies think we can press one button on their and your problem is solved and its done. Life just does not work out that was ever.

Rite Aid pharmacy

There seems to be only one pharmacist and she is overworked and usually grumpy. Also the "call your RX" for refills service is terrible. I was told (by their computer voice) that one of my RX's didn't have any refills. It had 4 of them. I was also told that my other RX was not in the system. It also had refills and was filled at the same time as the other RX.

Rite Aid breo

My doctor gave me a prescription for breo, refill 1 time. The 03523 store issued me a 14 dose package, "institutional". I complained on two separate occasions to the pharmacist and was told that I was wrong and that they gave the correct package. I complained to customer care and they referred me the first time to the same pharmacist, who I showed the box. T then complained to customer care again and they had a pharmacist form another store call and reiterated the same thing and that I should contact the manufacturer, glaxosmithkline, which I did and they confirmed that they, rite aid did in fact give me the wrong package and that they, rite aid, should call them for clarity. I informed customer care 6 timed of this and there has been no response. The pharmacist that called me from the other store was insolent and insulting.

Rite Aid customer service at pharmacy

This happened on January 30, 2016 at the Rite Aide on Queen Street in Chambersburg, PA. My boyfriend, myself, and our 2 children (ages 10 and 9) went to get his prescription for methadone filled. The Pharmacist, Nitial(?) was from the very beginning rude and out of control. She told my boyfriend that she couldn't fill his script without having spoken with the prescribing doctor. He had the script IN HAND. And this was a Saturday! Pain Management is not open on a Saturday. But we immediately attempted to accommodate her and called PennState Hershey Hospital, had the appropriate doctor paged and explained to him that she refused to fill the script unless she talked to a doctor. He was shocked and in disbelief and even said to my boyfriend that he had never heard of this kind of thing before. But he humored her and called . She hung up with him and said that he would have to call back because he didn't have all the info that she was requesting. The doctor called my boyfriend back and asked him for some of the information that was on the script so that he could verify it in their system. The pharmacist overheard the whole conversation between my boyfriend and the doctor. When the doctor called her back she all but accused him of being a fraud and was asking him why he was asking my boyfriend the questions he was asking him. Mind you, we walked in that store at 2:45. My boyfriend walked out of the store to smoke and I took it upon myself to let the pharmacist know that she was wrongfully denying him health sustaining medication. I told her that I would do everything I could to make others aware of her unprofessionalism. After the doctor satisfied her requirements my boyfriend told her that it would require a pre-authorization and that he would just pay out of pocket and come back for the refund once the pre-auth went through. She told him once again that she would not give him his medication because he was not allowed to pay out of pocket for a narcotic. He called Express Scripts, the people that authorize the medication payments, and they told him that was illegal. That she could not hold his medication from him if he chose to pay out of pocket. He relayed this information to her and she yet again came up with another roadblock. She told him that if I came back into the store again that she would rip his script up and he wouldn't get it at all. The pharmacy closes at 6 and at this time we were still standing there waiting for his medication. She asked him and the children to have a seat and she would get it ready. I came back in at this time and she started closing all the pull-down metal gates that close the pharmacy up. It's 6:15 and we are still sitting there. FINALLY, at 25 minutes after 6 she opens the one gate and tells my boyfriend that if he wanted to be able to have his medication that I would have to leave the store because she was not going to give it to him if I was there! So, I had to walk out to the car and almost 4 hours later we were on our way. She not only subjected him and I to her discrimination and preconceived notions to who she thought we were but she also put our children through hell. They were so upset and hungry. I have never in my life been treated with such unprovoked, uncalled for, small mindedness, This woman needs to be reprimanded and I will put this story up in every single complaint option that Rite Aide has. So much so that they will know the story by heart.

I was at the Rite Aid store located at 7 West Landis Ave in Vineland NJ store #10487 to pick up my prescription when I encountered the most ignorant/ unbelievable service by an employee at the register. The young woman's name plate read Crystal, I was speaking to the lady next to me when she shouted " EXCUSE ME SIR" ! in the most unprofessional tones. Everyone that were waiting for service as well as another woman working at the register was shocked at this woman's bad reaction. I don't know if this is a common practice at this store to allow this employee to slam customers this way, However the management staff as well as Corporate Management should be aware that they literally have a loose cannon with very poor customer service training working in the Pharmacy Department. Maybe management at the store is aware of this issue and it's a common practice that's implemented for only specific employees ! I think the employee should be reprimanded and management needs more training on how to resolve/handle issues such as this inexcusable experience that I encountered on 2/24/16 !

Rite Aid medication issues

I was prescribed Humilin R as my insulin drug. I receive my insulin three viles at a time secured together. When I began to take the last vile, I noticed it was cloudy (milk-like) and thought it was from being in the refrigerator. But then I looked at the vile and noticed it said Novilin N, I was shocked at first. Then I took the box out of the trash and behold two of the viles I had already taken for two months read Novilin R instead of Humilin R and the third vile read Novilin N. What the heck, I'm taking the wrong meds. I immediately contacted the pharmacist. He (Sahed) said that it was ok because they were in the same family of drugs, but didn't know why Novilin N was attached and that was our error and he would find out which worker put it together. He did replace my third vile still at Novilin R. I immediately contacted my doctor on this issue and he agreed with the pharmacist on the family of the two, but not the Novilin N. Something needs to be done. I was stressed out over this.

Rite Aid pharmacy tech

I am in the Archbold Rite Aid store at least once a week and have been a loyal customer for over 20yrs. In the last three months the new pharmacy technician(s) are RUDE! Today was the last straw! As each person comes in we all stand in line and await our turn ( 1st grade lesson). As I stood for 10mins and waited my turn: the person in front of me left and I went to go up next. The pharmacy tech girl told me to back up and brought another customer In front of me - no expalnation no reason ... Once she was done she then waited on me. I asked her why and she gave no answer. I told her it was rude and she replied "so what". I've had it! Again in the last three months the persons being hired are rude rude rude! I've let a lot of this just pass because many of the other pharmacists and technicians are great! But today I have had it! If something isn't done I honestly feel I will take my business somewhere else. Maybe my business doesn't mean enough to you to care- time will tell but those girls need lessons in simple customer service A. Jennings

Rite Aid firing of employees

I am going to comment in length about the firing of certain pharmacy employees...I believe that is was unnecessary and harsh to fire the pharmacy manager, pharmacist and technicians who have been one of the greatest customer service teams in the last several years of this pharmacy...The employee who remains does not give a crap about the pharmacy, customers or position of pharmacy technician...She just wanted to complain to human resources because she does not want to follow rules, or be told what to do...When she does come to work she just stands there and lets everyone else pick up her slack...Or she calls off constantly while others stay to work hard for the customers...As a customer I am appalled by this whole situation and will no longer shop or transact pharmacy business at any rite aid for the rest of my life...I will also relay this to my family and friends as well...I believe that human resources is a joke and does nothing but protect crappy employees and does not do anything for the great ones...If this is how rite aid pharmacy provides great customer service then I no longer want to be a part of it...Those pharmacy employees were exceptional in their customer service...The crappy employee does not give 2 cents about the customer...She is rude and does not care about the job at all...She either is constantly late or calls off...I have lost all respect for rite aid and their business practices...If you are going to keep crappy employees and get rid of new ones then that is your choice, but I believe that it is disgusting that one employee's word was taken over 4 others...She has destroyed people's lives and careers...She has spread lies about these employees and cost them their jobs...But that is what you get for going above and beyond the call of duty...Just like our country in general...I hope that she has gotten satisfaction in completing this evilness...Because that is what she is...Pure evil...Out to destroy what is good just because she did not want to follow rules...I hope she can sleep at night, but I am sure she will because she has no conscience...I am going to warn all my family and friends, as well as my co-workers to watch their back if she ever works for any of them at some point and time...And I have a lot of contacts in this area...And rite aid human resources is nothing but a glorified Principal's office for immature adults to come and complain about stupid crap...I know for a fact that good rite aid employees complained about legitimate issues and human resources did nothing for them...But if you are a crappy employee you get the gold mine and the others get the shaft...Rite aid does not care about customers at all but they do care about the almighty dollar...But as they say what goes around comes around...Amen and god bless my family and friends reading this...I hope that you realize how rite aid treats their employees and their customers...I will definitely shop at other chain pharmacies in the future...

Rite Aid kim brooks is a very rude pharmacist

I went in to the Rite Aid pharmacy on 263 Elkton Rd. In Newark Delaware on July 1st 2015. They took the prescription and said it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I started to shop while waiting. I came back 15 minutes later to be told it was a day too early. When I asked if they knew what date I filled it on, they said June 6th which was not correct. It was really filled on June 4th. I told them that it was filled on the fourth and no the sixth and they immediately got defensive. I was asking how many days was considered early and they told me 28 days. Than the lady named Kim Brooks got an attitude with me and told me that if I wanted, they could just wait until the fourth to fill it instead of the second in a very degrading way! When I told her I could take it somewhere else, she replied "You sure can." I asked for her name and she have me a fake name "Tracy" and when I was speaking to the manager he said her name was Not Tracy, it was Kim. They must not want my buisness very much! I do not know why this lady was being condescending and have never been talked to like that from an employee of anywhere before. I am a very nice person and said nothing for her to talk to me that way. Kim Brooks should not be working in that pharmacy because she obviously hates her job and I will never be going back to a rite aid again. As I was leaving, I quickly realized why I was the only person in that Rite Aid and there's never anyone in there!

You are right they do not want your business. When a grown up lady acts like she is still a toddler they basically do not want your business. Why ask when a question you already knew the answer to? You want respect stop behaving like you are three years old. You cannot finish what you start.

Rite Aid cant find the time in 3 days to make a phone call

Im Very Upset The Pharmacist at the Harbor City, Ca Rite Aid on PCH has Refused to call in my Medication to my Dr.'s Office to be Approved by the Insurance since Wednesday the 3rd of June she finally called it in right before my Dr.'s Office Closed for the weekend and After The Dr.'s Assistant went Home for the weekend. She was Asked twice by myself and also by the Dr.'s Assistant. So here I sit in Pain for the Entire Weekend and all I can do is go to the Emergency Room and spend the Weekend in a Hospital bed when All that needed to be done is a Phone call Made.
So I call and Complain 6 Hours later I get a call from a man that might as well been a recorded message saying how sorry he was that "it wasn't handled in a Timely Fashion". I told him this is not the first time this has happened I left rite aid the first time because of this pharmacy putting me through this same thing for a whole weekend before and that I only returned because the Pharmacy I went to stopped taking my Insurance. He said "Well thank you for coming back to Rite Aid". This is ridiculous one end keeps telling me she "Doesn't have time" To make a phone call the other one is might as well be an answering service I am Beyond Mad and in Horrible Pain. I hope someone in the Higher ups sees this and something is done about this mess so it doesn't have to happen again.
*UPDATE* I was contacted by rite aid through Facebook asking for my Info so they could call and "Follow up" I left them my Info in a PM and asked they call me today between 9am and 12pm PST. NO CALL RECIEVED. Rite aid Corporate or who ever runs there facebook Page apparently cant find the time to make a phone call just like the Rite aid Pharmacy in Harbor city, Ca

Rite Aid pharmacist mistreatment

After the utterly disgusting, unprofessional an truly cruel treatment I received at the 178 new Hyde Park in franklin square new york location I will never step foot again into a rite aid. After being diagnosed with a bad case of shingles my doctor sent a script online but the pain medication was a narcotic so the script had to be physically handed to the pharmacist. I went straight to the pharmacy from my doctors office. The pharmacy was scheduled to close at 9pm and I arrived at 840. The pharmacist out right refused to fill my pain killer script claiming there wasn't time and I had to go to the valley stream location that is TWO towns overs. To make someone who is in blinding pain travel that far for a medication is not just unprofessional and wrong it's also extremely unkind and simply a cruel thing to do. I don't know if you have ever had to deal with the agony that accompanies shingles but it is intensely painful to the point it's blinding. There was no way I could physically drive that far safely. After doing a quick google search I was able to locate a CVS much much closer i arrived moments before closing. I completly broke down in front of the pharmacist explaining what had happened and that I really just wanted the pain to go away. She immediately told me it was going to be ok and filled my perscription. By employing this woman you are condoning the mistreatment of your clients and telling them you do not really care.

I'm complete fed up with Rite Aid Rx. There are countless times that I'm asked to return because their "out", at pick up find out that my meds given to ANOTHER customer, rx clerks/pharm giving excuses and the run around for issue that can be easily resolved, no accountability whatsoever. The recent fault (3/23/11 @ 11:19 & 11:40AM) was just an hour ago: meds picked up but was missing syringes and was ask to wait another 30 minutes. At second round of pick-up I was as to wait then told that they're out and claimed that they tried to contact me; COMPLETE LIES within that 30 wait time frame I did not receive any call from them and there's no record on my cell (since it DIDN"T RING). Was asked to return the next day. Tired of all these repeats and continuous excuses. Will be switching to another pharmacy.

Give me a break. You are the most intolerant arrogant posted. Not everyone wants to celebrate Christmas. Not everyone or every business has to share the same views as you and decorate. Get a life. Also most decorations included the Christmas tree were adopted not invented by Christians.

I work for Rite Aid. We didn't decorate but we had christmas trees lit up on ledges. Does a charlie Brown christmas tree and popcorn tree count? After they changed over to rite aid supposedly they stopped allowing the decorating of the boutiques and counters and things. Plus I really don't want to have to deal with taking down decorations so don't bother me none.

Rite Aid cost of prescriptions

I picked up a prescription yesterday from Rite Aid, it was blood pressure med's. The cost of $82 for a month's supply. I checked with Costco the same medication for one month is only $11, $19 for a three month supply.
$71 more! Can someone please explain to me why the major difference? I urge everyone to stop using Rite Aid due to the jacked up prices and let's include Walgreens in this complaint as well. COSTCO is way less expensive than either one.
Costco Pharmacy also offers a discount to all members. They will fill prescriptions for non-members as well. The $11 is a non-member price!
There is no way anyone can convenience me that there is that much of price difference between pharmaceutical companies. They charged me $2.73 per pill and Costco, $0.37. Something is terribly wrong.
Lower and Middle Class America'n's simply cannot afford the prices Rite Aid Pharmacies are charging. I can assure you I will never do business with Rite Aid again. I pray more people will do the same. If enough people stop doing business there maybe they will have to drop the prices so the everyday, average person can afford their medication.

Rite Aid customer service

I spend $300/ month on Nicorette (which I've been doing for three years). I always go to Walgreens because it's closer to my house. I just moved and stopped at Rite Aid this morning in the Northgate Mall area. The woman carded me which was surprising since I'm almost 40! I only had my expired drivers license with me since my current one was stolen with my purse a week ago. She wouldn't take my expired ID. Now I could understand if, a) I was buying cigarettes or alcohol, or b) was in my twenties, or even c) if I didn't have ANY proof of ID. But I NEVER get carded since I'm obviously in my late thirties. Hell, my daughters almost 18! I know my ID was expired but come on. I am just trying to buy Nicorette since I quit smoking and I am CLEARLY OVER 18! I'm done with Rite Aid. Even though Walgreens is farther I'm going to keep going there since they never give me a problem. Now I'm late to work. Thanks Rite Aid... You just lost the $3600/ year I spend on Nicorette not to mention the $5, 000/ year I spend on various other items I usually get at Walgreens.

You may look over 18 but you sure don't act that age. They are just following the law. For all we know you could look 40 because you messed up your body using meth. Perhaps they thought you were under 18 because you behaved like a six year old.

Rite Aid incompetent and apathetic pharmacy employees

Rite Aid Pharmacy, 6995 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery, AL
36117, has the most incompetent and apathetic employees I've seen in a
pharmacy thus far. I have used them for 14 years and my entire family has
used them for longer. And they really don't make apologies for
inconveniencing their long-time customers. That pharmacy has gone downhill
since the last pharmacist left, Melissa. I made 3 phone calls and 2
visits. Nearly 24 hours since my prescription was called in, I resorted
to having another pharmacy call for that same prescription. Within 1 1/2
hours of my call to other pharmacy, my prescription was filled, that pharmacist
called to let me know it was ready, and my 20% co-pay was $14 less than Rite
Aid would have charged me. Unfortunately, Rite Aid and Rite Aid Pharmacy
has now lost my business for good, and perhaps that of my family members as
well. Horrible service an uncompetitive pricing.
