Renee's Bridal / Entire bad experience

I bought my dress and bridesmaids dresses from this place. My dress was beautiful and I love it, however I feel like I was ripped off. My $600 dress quickly became $1100! I knew that the cost of alterations would be extra, but I didn't count on paying $155 just to get the thing hemmed! Also, she didn't tell me that I would have to purchase the slip for an extra $100, bra cups for an extra $30, the veil and the tax on all of that. Also, I ordered my dress and 7 bridesmaids dresses and not 1 of the dresses fit. Why did they take measurements if the dresses were too big?! I ordered a junior bridesmaids dress that was too big for a 6 foot tall woman (and the dress was for a 10 year old girl). Needless to say, I told my girls not to have Renee's do their alterations. Renee tries to come across as a sweet lady, however she's fake! She treated my bridesmaids like crap and pasted the smile on her face when I was around. Renee is stuck up and rude and doesn't know what customer service is. Her employees were wonderful but she is terrible! I wouldn't recommend her! Ladies, if you're looking for a happy experience, go somewhere else!

    I know exacally what you are talking about. I went in to try my bridesmaid dress, and they had me try on the only dress they had in that style it was a 10 I wear a 5/6 in my everyday clothes. They told me me was going to need to order an 8. When I got the dress in it had to be taken in in the sides and the bust also it needed to be hemmed. I think if they would have ordered me a smaller size it would have been alot better. I go to get the dressed altered by Renee's and after they pin everything I get a bill of $118, my dress was $130 so I paid just as much for the alterations as the dress. This was on a Saturday 8/9 that I dropped it off, I found someone that could do it cheaper and called back to Renee's Monday 8/11 and told them the situation and asked of I could get the dress back to save some money. The lady said she would call the lady that was doing the alterations and call me back. I called back to Renee's on 8/20 because I never received a call back the same lady that I spoke to on the 11th answered the phone and said she was sorry and would call the seamstress and call me back. Surpriseingly she called back and gave me some wonderful news, THE DRESS WAS NOT DONE!Nine days later, with no call and the dress was not done. Let me tell you this is the 20th and the wedding is on the 30th, Yes 10 days away. NO PHONE CALL ARE YOU KIDDING ME? So I had to go pick the dress up on the 21st because she wouldn't go pick it up for me that day so I could take it to someone else. I will NEVER deal with these people agian, and I will tell everyone I know how this company is ran so poorly.

    If you would share with me the Designer and style of your gown, as a professional, I could tell you if they over charged for the hem or not. I have had bridal gowns that took 3 days to hem! Divide that 24 hours of labor and the fee is nominal. However with that said, you can order most all gowns custom cut to length for anywhere between $50 - $300 depending upon the manufacturer. I'm sad to hear about all the bad experiences.

    She doesnt care about her customers at all!! HWont think twice about ripping you off. She is the meanest person I have ever encountered. My experience with her makes me hope I never ever have to meet her or talk to her again!!!

    I have personally delt with Renee for several events and the experience was WONDERFUL. Great customer service, she got back to me right away on every question/need, overall I love Renee's Bridal and would recommend it to ANYONE. As far as the expenses go...what do you expect when you're dealing with formals/wedding gowns? Renee's Bridal is very professional, so if you don't want things done first class don't go there. :)

    I can't stand this place!!! I bought a$560 dress and after leaving there it was over $1000. She is a complete fake joke! I ordered my dress on New Year's Day for a May wedding and she said it would be here in 2-3 months, two weeks later I got a phone call saying we needed to put a rush on the dress for $100 so that it would be here by March 1st. March 10th I call, no dress. March 17th my mom called, no dress. Finally I had a fitting on March 19th, 19 days late, no refund on rushing it! My dress fit almost perfectly, less than a 1/2 inch taken up on the straps, 3 bustles, bra cups, $155 freaking dollars. Then my fitting, today, dress is too tight, but it'll work. Then she tells me that I can BUY a dress bag to take it home in or they can give me a white plastic one for free (a trash bag). At this point I can't believe she is even attempting to get more money out of me! The F*ing dress comes in a garmet bag, but I can't take it home. I've paid over $1000 to this idiot and I can't keep the bag it comes in! OMG I hope she goes out of business, or gets hit by a bus.

    Just wanted to share my horrible experience http://www.kissbrides.com. They are the worst when it comes to customer service. They disconnect the chat when you connect them about your order, they already collected your fund why is it so hard to say what will happen. When i purchase my dresses they sent a nice email, i paid for express service only after the arrival date give by the company i did not receive my purchase, so i contacted them and was advised that i would get a tracking number which i did receive but when i when to track the package it was delivered to the wrong address. Now i ask this one rep who always seems to be the only one working for the company she advised me that they will re-route my order and i will receive it in a 3 days, i am still awaiting the 3 days after more than a week. They don't follow-up with customers they are rude and the worst thing my wedding is April. I feel that this company should close, they have no respect, not professional and no empathy for the clients. Annis always on the chat but then when she realize the query she would never answer the chat. Brides DO NOT BUY FROM http://www.kissbrides.com.

    I just received my order from www.kissbrides.com...it's horrible. Dresses look nothing like what's advertised on the website. The colour, shape, material used...nothing matches what's advertised. I wrote email to seller as soon I tried the dresses on to let them know that I want to return dresses with the whole list of reasons ie. I requsted champane colour...I got peach colour...Material used is dollar store quality etc. Merchand refuses to provide Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number needed to return items and is making every effort to make it impossible for me to return items on time (within 72 hr as per website return policy).
    Anyone considering ordering from this merchand should reconsider. Warning!!! Do not buy from this merchant

    i had worked in http://www.kissbrides.com & http://www.beautifulbridaldress.com for 13 days .but the boss did not pay me salary .only $60.Not a penny was paid

    i feel angry about the boss, but have no way. the boss make the website http://www.kissbrides by himself mostly, and he just copy other's pictures, All pictures are copied.They did not have brick-and-mortar store.In the part of testimonials, they rent a little house and four Sewing machines.

    I worked in http://www.kissbrides.com last summer, I wanted to ask the policeman for the salary, but I am afriad of him and his friend, they can beat me when the policeman leave .and I also want to find a new job In that place .i did not want to offend him. the salary was too little .so I did not ask policeman.

    the boss said to me that as long as you give me the picture, i can make the address for you . if you give me $100, i will give you a bad kind of cloth, if you give me $1000, i will give you a good kind of cloth. He can sell the address at A variety of price.

    i read your comments for a long time, i am sorry about that, because the boss corrupted chinese images. the boss is only good at computer, pay some money to google for advertising, and employ one or two girls work as customer service. i was a customer service too and worked for him 13 days . i leave the boss because i do not trust him. so he refuse to pay me salary .

    Renee seems to have forgotten that her business is customer-driven. My 17 year old, size 5 (jeans) daughter went back to Renee's Bridal in Pensacola with some friends to look for prom dresses. She found a dress that she liked but was told she was "too big" to try it on. I went back with her today to look at this dress that she liked so well and, when she told Renee what had transpired, she was told that "no one in her store would have called her fat" and that "she probably is too big for the dress". Renee had not seen the dress. She called the girl over and said, "You won't believe the lie this girl just told me." We bought a prom dress from her last year and spent over $500 for it before alterations and got nasty attitude from her when I told her I'd have the alterations done closer to home. Incidentally, the prom dress last year had to be ordered in a smaller size but fit exactly the same as the sample. Alterations would have cost an additional $117 through Renee's. I paid $45 for the exact same alterations. On a happy note, we found a beautiful (size 4) dress at Twilight Formals in The Bridal Plaza on Nine Mile Rd in Pensacola. No alterations needed!! We were assisted by 3 cute, sweet sales people.

    My first time fitting for a dress was awful because of this place! I was greeted with a smile but when the owner Renee sat to talk to me, she asked me all these questions that had nothing to do with my wedding. She was basically into getting you the dress that is only in my budget instead of what I wanted. You should give your customer what they want to try on. Just because they have a budget it doesn't mean they will go by it. They do have parents and other people that can help her pay if it was THE DRESS! They would let you take pictures or even give you your size. Renee went in the room with me telling me that she doesn't want to pull out the dresses that is not within my budget. That is BS! I understand your a boutique and you want clients that will pay but don't treat them like that. I'm giving you this bad review and I will be sure to tell everyone to not go to your store. You made me feel like I didn't have money to buy anything at your store. I went to Davids bridal afterwards and bought the same exact dress for more than my budget because of the customer service I had there. So thank you Renee for the experience!

    My bridal party as a whole had a wonderful experience! The work on my bridesmaid dresses were done perfectly and we received nothing but wonderful service! I am so pleasantly surprised with Renee's Bridal and would redolent it to anyone!
