This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

Company promised several times delivery of a puppy, just to turn around several times and to inform us that the process would not be completed and not get delivery of a puppy without explanation. A puppy was agreed upon, paid for, and booked for travel, just for PuppySpot to cahnge it all and fail on the delivery of the puupy. It was a long drawn out procees that took over a week. All the way from sales staff to customer care to management, all services and promises were awful.

Puppyspot is great if you are looking for a frustrating experience exasperated by people who really don't want to sell dogs and the worse customer service imaginable. Here's my tail...
After losing our dog of 14 years, I found a dog on Puppyspot. We closed the deal on a Saturday and I was told the dog would likely be sent on Thursday. They asked about my preferred airport and if Thursday would work and assured me I would get 48 - 24 hours notice before she arrived. All sounded great. Well Wednesday night around 9pm I got a call that she would be in at 11am the next morning at Laguadia airport (worse airport in America and the one asked them not to use). None of this really bothered me much since I was so excited to get this dog. So I dropped everything for the next day and trekked out to Laguadia with my tracking # and paperwork. While I was in the process if driving airport employees crazy looking for this dog, I get a call from the breeder that the dog never got on the plane. Why didn't Puppyspot call me 4 hours earlier when the dog didn't get on the plane? Well there were some excuses, no apologies and mostly talk of their hardship in all of this mess and I was left with a long drive home where I had to explain to my six year old why there was no dog and why I missed his camp show earlier that day. If Macy's can send me tracking info on a $20 shirt, why couldn't puppyspot give me an update before I got the airport?
Do yourself a favor and don't buy a dog from them. If you are 100% sold on one of their dogs, please please put the dog on a credit card or paypal so there's some protection to you purchase and don't trust that you will actually get the dog until it arrives safely to you.

so sorry to hear about your frustration, we just got a gorgeous boxer puppy through puppy spot and the whole experience was really good, people I spoke with were extremely professional and courteous and the transportation people I dealt with were from Feathers and Fur Express and they were wonderful, the puppy came all the way from South Dakota and we are in Atlanta so his flight had to be re-scheduled twice because of bad weather, but they were extremely empathetic and very efficient in re-booking flights right away and getting us our new baby...so I don't think its a scam, things happen when you're dealing with many different people, breeder, puppyspot, transportation service, etc...I hope that you will find it was worth the hassle when you hold your new baby in your arms

I am going through the exact same thing with them right now! I just lost a dog of 14 years and the puppy we found on puppyspot was supposed to be the little ray of sunshine our grieving family was seeking... Instead it has been so upsetting and disappointing. I've been reduced to tears of frustration. When there is a problem, they don't call you back, you have to call them. Although they are very nice people, their incompetence in the booking department is unrivaled. They tell you a flight, then take it away and push it out another day... then another day... its just awful. All of this less than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival. First its the airline, then its the breeder then its the temperature... and although they try and sound sympathetic their actions and problem resolution skills scream they just don't care. Flights arriving in the middle of the night... to airports an hour or two away to pick up a puppy. Im considering walking away at this point because this has just put me through the ringer. This is the LAST booking I am accepting and if it doesn't work out this time, Im done.

Did you end up getting your dog? I am going thru this process as well. I have now been given two different arrival dates for the dog at the airport. The second has been postponed and I have no idea when it will be rescheduled. Was told breeder "wouldn't have time this week" to take puppy for his final vet check prior to flight here and then was told that the puppy was "injured" while playing with a littermate. I have received exactly one photo of these injuries that truly look way worse than P.S is making them out to be. That said, I can hardly even get an update on the health condition as a result of this injury on a dog I have already shelled out a ton of money for. I am super frustrated and being to think this is a scam...
