feel scammed
Ordered their trial cream for anti aging and was charged postage. I thought it was a sample not a lifetime commitment. You are required to give a card to put the $1.25 postage charge on.I used my debit card. I was away for easter and came home to a letter from the bank saying I was overdrawn. There was a charge of $189.00 on my acct from lifecell and an additional fee of $32.00 from the bank. Never was a price mentioned . Now I have to send back the trial tube and pay for that postage to get my refund but I'm still out the $32. I feel I've been scammed. When I called their number [protected], I was told never is the word "SAMPLE" used so they slide by on a technicality. By the way ...I have seen no results at all. They say you can see results in 17 seconds.
free trial theft, scam, deception
There is an intention of deception and fraud correlating to LifeCell South beach skin care product "free
trial" advertisements. Their extensive ads are designed to purposely fool consumers into believing their claim of, "you pay only S & H" for a trial of product at a fee of 1.95- but in actuality, after you agree to the FREE trial and give your banking information you are charged the S&H fee first-them a few hours later your account is suddenly charged again in the amount of 189.00 dollars. They actually steal 189.00 from unsuspecting consumer bank accounts without any written testimony of their intentions or actions. THERE IS NO WARNING of this action on the page, nor a dollar amount for the product, IF you decide after the trial to order it. It is blatant fraud- and if your funds are not returned to your account, it becomes blatant theft. It is a disgusting practice of greed and unnecessary if their claims of scientific research is valid, then why not disclose the truth of their charhing/costs for a FREE trial. Shame on them! I wonder how many women who are living close to the financial belt, hoping to find and try a potential product, that they have unwittingly done this to? BAD BUSINESS practice. And they do no return calls, respond to emails or refund your monry
Very bad customer service
I heard So much about Lifecell I just had to try it out, I loved the idea of using just one cream for eyes, face, neck and even lips and chest day and night. I ordered the free trial and waited patiently for it to arrive. Finally after 2 weeks I called to ask if they had shipped it out and they informed me they had. I never received it so I asked them if they would send me another one. Finally I received the tube of this magical miracle in the form of a cream and used it for about a week. I didn't really see or notice any positive results and my skin felt dri but I wasn't going to give up.After about 2 1/2 weeks I found they had debited my checking account $189.00 I called to enquire why and they informed me they had checked my credit card to make sure it was still valid and my bank told them it had been cancelled so they just debited the amount from my bank. The card I used to get the free trial had been lost a week before they verified with my bank however it didn't even cross my mynd to call them because my free trial was not over yet. A very rude and unprofessional supervisor told me to send back the product and she would reimburse me. I didn't get to use the product for a month, it took like 2 wks to get my money back and I believe I was treated very unfair. I asked myself what if because they debited my account my checks would have bounced? I was lucky enough to have funds in my account but they had my Cell number and my E-mail Why couldn't they try to get in touch with me before they just went ahead and debited my account. I really don't know if I would have liked the product or not, but I would not do business with them because of their lack business ethics. I know this was long, thank you for reading and I hope it helps someone .
I also ordered Life Cell's quote "Free Trial". Not so! I received the order within a week, but they had charged my debit card $189.00 before even 5 days had passed so I called the company & asked about the charges since it was to be a free trial period. Well, I thought I had better play the game so I told the lady that I had planned on continuing with Life Cell, but with the &189.00 charge already frozen on my card that I would more than likely not continue. She assured me that this would fall off within 3 days, but the company had to make sure funds were available because they would get a lot of scammers. I thanked her & told her that the cream was wonderful & wanted to keep buying, but would wait & see if charge did disappear. Guess what? It did. So, I immediately went to the bank & cancelled my card & ordered another debit card. I honestly believe that they would have scammed me if I had not scammed them first with my conversation because the truth is I had not even received the stuff in mail when I told her how great it was & that I wanted to continue to purchase it... FYI & mine: If a product is not sold in stores within a few months & only online, the chance that it is a scam is very high...
It's a common practice to send a customer a trial period or sample with the condition that if the customer doesn't cancel their"subscription" they will automatically be billed and sent product each month. Cable companies do it with free premium channels. If you don't cancel, they bill you. Meaningful Beauty, Bare Minerals, NoNo, and many others operate this way. Customers agree to these terms when they order the "free trial". It's hidden in the Terms and Conditions that the customer must agree to before the order is processed. Most of the companies are reluctant to cancel a subscription and are rude and uncooperative. The best advice is Buyer Beware!
THANK YOU for this INFORMATION! I will NOT, be ordering any LifeCell products in this lifetime, or the next lifetime if I am reincarnated. Thanks again!
billed bank account b4 trial period up
I have documented emails stating when the product was sent along with an enclosed packing slip stating when it was mailed. The "terms and conditions" for return state quite plainly that the bank account will not be charged until the 30 day trial period is up. I called them and cancelled, receiving a RMA # online, and mailed it 2-3 day mail, five or six days before my trial period was up. On that same day, they charged my bank account, causing me to go into overdraft and incurring approximately $100.00 of additional overdraft fees due to this charge and this charge only. I plan to turn them into the Better Business Bureau also.

It garenteed results and I saw none plus I broke out so I want a refund been trying to get one no luck
This company is creepy and fraudulen offer a simple cream and stole the information of people and take money without authorization of clients
They reel you in try product for free than in small print before 30 days charge your card 189.00 Than 149.00 every month
Tryed product didn’t work as promised wanted refund no one answered .Couldn’t get a return slip
The company Life Cell skin is ripping customers. They offered free trials, and I needed to pay only for postage, which was $3.99. I paid for the postage and received three samples. But after that the company started to charge me every week. I sent them emails and tried to call, but no one replied. They took already about $300 and I wanted to stop them. Please, post your comments if you know how to stop these withdrawals.
The company is a scam and the product is not effective
These people are liars and thieves. I will continue to post my experience with them wherever i can in order to prevent someone else from having the same experience.
When lifecell was ineffective, i attempted to make contact as instructed to return for a refund. They did not return calls placed over a 3 month period. When some guy named chris finally did answer the phone, and i explained to him that i had been leaving messages for months, he told me to return the product immediately, which i did. He even looked my information up on the computer so he knew exactly when i received the product.
They received the product back on april 14, 2008—signed for in their office by s. Johnson. The next correspondence i received was an e - mail telling me that they would not refund my money. They had their product back, which i'm sure they resold to some unsuspecting customer and did not refund one dime to me. This is not a reputable company; they are thieves.

I had a totally opposite experience. The product WORKS. I have been using the lifecell product for about a year and can honestly say my face looks 10 years younger! I will continue using it. I'm sorry for your experience. However, I have recommended it to my friends and family who are having similar results.
I have used Lifecell (Life Cell) Anti Aging Wrinkle South Beach Skin Care for more than six years and it works. I am 51 years old and my skin has improved significantly. I used other skin products that did not work for me. It's not a scam and I hope I can continue to buy it because this is the only facial cream that has helped keep my skin radiant.
My problem has been that when I shop around on ebay or third party market sellers like Walmart or Amazon, I have noticed two different versions of the same Life Cell product. I think there are counterfeit Life Cell products being sold online. Beware of fake products and that may be the reason the cream does not work? Life Cell please investigate.
I had a surgery with this product put in my body from this company. The abdomen. Since then, severely ill from this.
Now. My life has turned upside down and I'm in a disabled state. Left abandon because NO ONE knows how to fix this mess.
Doctors are using a product in peoples bodies and when it does not agree with your system they don't know how to fix you. All you get is, I'M SORRY NOT SURE WHAT TO DO!
In the mean time your life has taken a turn for the worst and the severe pain is no match for life. I am hanging on the best I can.
I have been scammed also- not necessarily by the product itself- but the FINE PRINT- where they charged 4.95 for shipping- and the auto charge of 189.00 after 30 days- its not worth it- and they had the NERVE to say the 1 tube is 149.00 value - are you serious? I spoke with Jessica, Marcella and Chris who is the owner- is never around- well if he took the time to stay in the office - vs. going out in Hollywood, FL and tried to see what was going on with the sales, marketing and customer service- he would clearly see- he will be out of business very soon. The product is just ok- I have NOT seen any results- so I am gladly returning this product- but my main reason at this time for returning it- is based on the bate & switch! DONT PURCHASE LIFECELL- It is a Scam!
How did you resolve this this company is fraudulent having to cancel my credit card to stop paying for a product that doesn’t work. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.!
The same experience, we cancelled, shipped product back and were supposed to get refund $189, but instead--they refunded the amount and then took out the same amount so the refund is still outstanding, and I doubt they'll give money back once it's in their hands and their product has been returned. These people belong in jail. I've emailed the Hollywood Police Department but since we're in Canada I suppose Canadians don't get any attention from a US Police Department.
Very misleading "free" sample only when product delivered was it clear they were about to charge another $189. I returned product (cost $16 from Australia) and cancelled credit card..
anything too good to be true usually is wonder if clooney tim allen etc know they are being used to promote cheap rubbish what if I tell you my secret for free ? grow old disgracefully its what wrinkles are the visual of a happy fun filled life
Hi, I felt for the scam also. Just received my bank statement and US $189 charge on it. I was too late to stop the payment and not sure they will ship anything even though they ship the product is not effective at all, guess will not even get back the refund either. Well we had learned a good lesson of buying things from internet.
Regards
Herman Low
I ordered a "free trial" before Christmas for what I thought was a cream to reduce bags under your eyes. I received two bottles of creams both of which claimed to make your skin look younger and said nothing about reducing bags. Because I thought I was only paying for the shipping and handling for a free trial I didn't bother doing anything about it. It is now Feb. and I received a fraud alert from my credit card company asking about a charge for 132.00 from this company. They also told me of a charge for 77.00 from Jan. from the same company. I had just received my credit card statement was going to call about that charge anyway. I told them I had not authorized the charge for today or Jan. They said they would reverse the charges, cancel my card and issue me a new one. As I said before I had received only my free trial which would ultimately cost me 4.98, 77.00 and 132 charged to my credit card! How can they do this? I saw none of the things the other complaints spoke of including on going deliveries and additional charges! This is unbelievable. Obviously my credit company has had problems with this company before as they issued me a fraud alert. It's sad what some companies will do and even sadder that they seem to be aloud to get away with it!
I have a very bad experiece. I paid the first free trial at USD 14.5, second payment USD 189 and third payment at USD 163. They only send me two tubes, and refused to refund me the USD 163 for my second regular order.
I have been arguing with them for almost one month without any progress. I will keep writing the above to everywhere I can find to alert the potential customers.
Ineffective
LifeCell is sold in a tube. The first time I tried LifeCell the product resulted in improvement with respect to undereye puffiness; plumping of facial lines and of lips; and some firming of the eye area. The improvement wasn't amazing but I was pleased with the results.
There was a difference in colour and consistency with the second tube of the product. The colour was lighter and the consistency was greasy. In a matter of minutes (no exagerration), it caused small red bumps and whiteheads to appear and then enlargement of facial pores and did nothing that the first tube had.
I emailed a complaint stating the above and that I thought they'd replaced some of the original ingredients with "fillers". The next day I got a reply stating the product was the same and that they'd send me a new tube free of charge. Not being sure if "free of charge" was completely free of charge, I cited a numbered list of three possibilities, two of the three being ones that might incur a charge to me . The next day, I got a nasty e-mail back signed "Lowly Employee" and stating number three on my list was correct and did she now win the million dollars.
I paid absolutely nothing for the replacement tube and the product looked the same as the first tube purchased and caused no red bumps or enlarged pores or whiteheads but it didn't deliver the degree of improvement the first tube had.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I ordered and used it and it does not work. Do not order the free trial you will only lose the money paid for shipping and of course the money to pay for the return. This product is worthless. Have someone noticed that the same pictures of ladies before and after are posted on the ads of all the companies that sell anti-wrinkle creams or lotions?
This is a scam I live in Spain had to have my cream sent to England for my daughter to send to me in Spain. I have emailed Chantelle at lifecell telling her I have not received my cream, didn't receive it until 27 th Jaunary 2014. I have received an email today telling me that I have 14 days left of my trial. They do not take any notice of what anyone says, you may as well speak to the brick wall.
I am sending the cream back after 2 days of usage, I found no difference to my facial skin at all. I want my money back but will I get it, I wonder.
return policy
I ordered the Lifecell skin care product on a 30 day guarantee or no charge to a credit card, which you had to provide to order. I contacted the company 15 days after recieving and emailed and called stating i was cancelling my trial and did not want any charges to my card. I even asked them what I needed to do if i needed to return the product . I recieved a confirmation of my email that there would be no further shipments. There was no instructions on whether to send it back, just that they had received my cancellation and would care for.
I see on my credit card statement they billed me anyway for $189.00...15 days after I received my confirmation email. So I tried to call, and you cannot talk to anyone, you always get a recording advising you to email, So I did and after an email war they say now I have to return the product, two months later or they will not refund. Why would they bill me 2 weeks after I cancelled, Now they are coming up with an email they said they sent AFTER my confirmations saying where to mail the product back for a refund. After a morning long discussion hours later now there is an email that they didnt mention all morning. I have the product to send back, but beware of doing business here...now I have to wait for processing...I've paid interst on my credit card...its awful...then the office manager basically yelled at me and said they did nothing wrong... They take your money easily but know nothing about customer service and why would you do business with a company who has integrity as that? I followed in good faith what I was requested to do and they still billed me, trying to get it cared for has been a nerve racking and time consuming ordeal, and their supposed to be in the customer sercicxe business? It's notg worth it.
This product does NOT work. It is expensive and the company did nothing to credit or refund my purchase price. I diligently used this product for over a month and I saw absolutely NO results.
long time use rapafloo from CVS #2441.In 21,22 and to day in 23y pharmacist selling me rapafloo capsule 0.8 mg with same date of expiration,02/24! Is it possible? I fill a decrease effect of the pills. I'm fill no good! Could you explain please you trade policy which is not good for the consumer,Please. Best. vladimir moiseyev p347 589 4267.
This company lies about the free trail. The bait you into this product by posting only $4.25 purchase. The blurred fine print is $189.00 charge if you don't cancel. This company is a SCAM.
I've been charged $273.05 x 2 and $8.19 x 2 total cost $562.48 for purchased costing only $37.78 US dollars on 25/6/2019.
Please transfer my money back into my credit card account Peter Rozario card number
[protected] expires 04/21 ASAP thanks.
Not a happy customer taking $562.48 from my credit card for Items only costing $37.78...please transfer money back.
Several weeks or monthes ago I was looking for a moisturizer online. I saw the Life Cell Skin Care offer for a free sample. All I had to do was to pay shipping costs which were debited from my bank acct and a tube of the Life Cell product came in the mail. This free sample was my only request. I entered into no agreement for anything else from the company.
I received a shipping notification from the company March 2016, which appeared on my cell phone on a drop down board, that said this shipment which I had not authorized would be billed to my name. I was shocked as I had not placed an order, nor had further contact with this company since the initial free trial offer was mailed.
The next notice concerning Life Cell company came via my bank statement that this was not the first shipment I was charged for. But I had not received anything from them other than the free 30 day sample. It appears that I was charged $189 for the so called free sample that I also paid shipping on.
The South Beach Skincare rep Shana Stoute states in reply to my email that I had not placed an order and did not want to be billed by them, that their ad includes info that they will be shipping additional packages periodically. I read the free sample ad and this was definately not implied on the free sample ad.
I would never have agreed to future automatic purchases of a product I had never used as of yet, being debited from my bank acct. How would I know if it was appropriate for my skin type or something that I even wanted to order?
I notice that there are over 50 complaints similar to mine. How many women lodging their complaint can vouch for the fact that the free offer ad did not purport to financially obligate those receiving the free trial offer to any additional purchases? The business dealings of this company should be thoroughly investigated.
this so called "wonder cream " is useless - doesn't do a thing to improve the skin but does SCAM, what a rotten company.
I don't know what all the fuzz is about! In the return policy it states to send the product back within 30 days to avoid charges. I actually was told this from lifecells customer service when I emailed to cancel my account. I shipped it via UPS and tracked the shipping and after confirming with life cell whether they received the product, they confirmed my account was cancelled and no charges are pending, nor will there be any in the future. I suggest to everyone to read the return policies on every company you deal with to avoid surprises!
It didn't work for me unfortunately and after seeing the problems everyone was having with returning the product, I decided to cancel my card before I contacted them and sent the product back. It seems that when you try to contact them to return the product, they take the money immediately. I provided a copy of the emails and the DHL shipping information so they could see that the product was returned within 30 days of it being received. Lets see what happens.
Please help me get my money back. Lifecell has taken the money from my account after i had cancelled the product. How do i get my money back

They're marketing team is very smart. They use the word trial instead of sample and hide all the terms after the submit button for the free trial. If the product is so great why oh why do they have to be so deceptive!
I fell for the scam too. I then researched the net how I could complain about the merchant when repeated emails rendered
unanswered. Eventually I lodged a complain to Better Business Bureau and Internet Crime Complaint Center. I even wanted to complain to Federal Communication Commission and Federal Trade Commission. I wanted them to pay. Even if I don't get a cent back, I wanted to teach them a lesson. I wanted them to be blacklisted for scamming people. Within 2 days, the merchant replied asking me to return the product and giving excuses that my mails went into spam. I replied saying since there was no make
mention that you must return with the box in the website, I will just return my tube and still expect to get a full refund.Yes I also
complained to my credit card company and they are in the midst of investigation. I will forward the email to my credit card company and BBB.
Some of my friends esp males said to let it go. Why should I let such people go? I want them to learn a lesson and not mess around with anyone. You want to do a decent business do it properly. If not you pay for the consequences. Most people let it go so they get bolder and scammed more people.Apparently, they are getting such good traffic they are in yahoo websites. I will do what I can to complain to google and yahoo and cause them to decrease their traffic.

I also ordered a sample and agreed to a charge of $12. The company charged my credit card $200 and have not responded to my e-mails. I have cancelled whatever subscription they have signed me on. This company is shameless. if their product is as good as they maintain, they would not need to steal from their new customers. The only thing I can do, is file a complaint, warn others and delete my credit card.
