LovelySkin Unfortunate Experience with Lovely Skin: Hidden Fees and Currency Confusion

My experience with Lovely Skin was not a good one, unfortunately. I'm from Canada and I took advantage of their Black Friday special, placing an order for $100. However, three weeks later I received a phone call from customs informing me that I needed to pay taxes and customs charges on top of my order, which added up to around $100 more. To make matters worse, when I checked my credit card statement, I saw that the charge was not $100 as advertised on the site, but $124 since the currency they displayed was in US dollars, not Canadian dollars.

I reached out to Lovely Skin to request a refund, but was shocked to find out that they charged me an additional $50 for shipping and fees. This left me with no product and $50 out of pocket. In my opinion, this is nothing short of theft.

There are a few things that Lovely Skin could have done to avoid this situation. Firstly, they could have detected my country through my IP address and displayed the correct currency accordingly. Secondly, they should have made it clear that international customers would be subject to customs and taxes. Lastly, they should have been more transparent in their terms and conditions.

Overall, I cannot recommend this site based on my experience. However, if they were to give me a full refund for my order ID #***, they could make things right.

LovelySkin Misleading and Unethical Practices by Lovely Skin - Beware!

I recently made a purchase on Lovely Skin's website for Skinceuticals "fusion" sunscreen. I was excited to receive my order and was pleased that throughout the ordering process, there was no indication that the product was out of stock. I made sure to double-check that I was ordering the "fusion" and not the sheer, as I had made that mistake in the past.

To my surprise, just two days after placing my order, a package arrived at my doorstep. However, upon opening it, I realized that I had received the wrong product. Instead of the "fusion" sunscreen that I had ordered, I had been sent the sheer version. I was disappointed that Lovely Skin had switched out the product without informing me, as I would have preferred to wait for the "fusion" to be back in stock.

I reached out to Lovely Skin via email to express my concerns and was told that the "fusion" sunscreen was out of stock and that I must have accidentally ordered the wrong product. However, when I went back to their website, I saw that I could still order the "fusion" sunscreen with no indication that it was out of stock. I felt that this was unethical and potentially a scam, as Lovely Skin had switched out my product without my consent.

I requested a return label from Lovely Skin twice, but have yet to receive a response or label. Additionally, I left a review of my experience on their website, but it has not been published. Overall, I am disappointed with my experience with Lovely Skin and would caution others to be wary of their practices.

LovelySkin Suspiciously High Ratings: Are Lovely Skin's Reviews Genuine?

Yo, so I gotta say something about Lovely Skin. Not about their stuff or how they do things, but about how they might be fakin' their reviews. I've been buyin' skincare online for a hot minute now, and I noticed that the reviews on Lovely Skin are way higher than the same products on other sites. Like, they're off the charts good. And negative reviews? Not so much. It's weird, 'cause you'd think that people would have good and bad experiences with stuff, right? But it seems like Lovely Skin only wants to show the good stuff.

I've bought a bunch of stuff from them and I've reviewed like seven things. They posted six of my reviews, all of which were four or five stars. But when I gave something a one-star review, they didn't post it. That's sketchy, man. It makes me wonder if they're only showing the good stuff so they can sell more. I don't know if I wanna keep buyin' from them if they're not bein' honest with their reviews.

LovelySkin Disappointing Delivery Experience with LovelySkin: Package Lost in Transit

So, I bought this skin cream from LovelySkin last week and I was so excited to try it out. But when I checked the tracking today, it said that my package was delivered to my home. I was home all day and I didn't receive anything. I searched everywhere, outside my house, my neighbor's house, and even in my mailbox. But there was no sign of my package.

I contacted the mail company and asked if they took a picture of the delivered item outside of my door, like Amazon does. But they said no. I was so frustrated and upset that I had to contact Google to try and get this resolved. After a long time of arguing, they finally decided to refund me my item. But it was the least they could have done, and I shouldn't have had to argue for so long.

I trusted LovelySkin and gave them my business by purchasing from them instead of any other retailer. But now, I am disappointed that I did. I still want the skin cream that I paid for. But with my refund, I will have to go elsewhere to place my order.

This was a negative experience, and unfortunately, I will not be recommending this place to any of my family, friends, or anyone else. I'm very disappointed. I hope they can improve their delivery service and make sure that their customers receive their packages on time.

LovelySkin Disappointing Experience with Lovely Skin: No Support for Allergic Reaction

I gotta say, I wish I had read these reviews before I went ahead and bought some stuff from Lovely Skin. I mean, I got a few products and one of them gave me a reaction like I've never had before. I'm talking redness, itching, the whole shebang. And when I reached out to the company, they didn't even offer to cover the shipping or send me a prepaid label. Like, come on, guys. I get it if someone just doesn't like a product, but this was a legit issue. I had to go to the doctor and everything. Needless to say, I won't be doing business with them again. I've never had an experience like this with any other company. If they had any integrity or cared about their customers, they would have at least given me a prepaid label. Most other stores I've dealt with in the past would have given me a refund, plus a discount on my next order or a credit, and refunded the shipping. The fact that I had to ask for a prepaid label is just really disappointing. I hope no one else has to go through what I did.

LovelySkin Mixed Experience with Lovely Skin's Customer Service and Products

I gotta say, my experience with Lovely Skin has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. At first, I was stoked to receive my Replenix Power of Three, but when I saw that it was unboxed and unsealed, I was a bit confused. I mean, I'm all for saving the environment, but it just seemed a bit off. So, I reached out to customer service and spoke with Lisa. Let me tell you, she was not having it. She went on and on about how legit both Replenix and Lovely Skin are, and I just felt so embarrassed for even asking. I mean, I'm new to the whole skin product game, so I was just trying to make sure everything was on the up and up.

Then, a few months later, I wanted to get some products shipped 2 day air because I didn't want them sitting outside in the sun. But, when the package didn't arrive on time, I reached out to Lisa again. This time, she was insistent that the heat wouldn't be a problem, even though it was super hot outside and the products were outside for days. It was just a frustrating experience, you know?

And then, when I got the brown vitamin C, I had a hard time getting a straight answer about what to do with it. It was just a bit of a mess.

Now, don't get me wrong, I've spent a fair amount of money on Lovely Skin products, and I haven't made any returns. But, it just feels like every time I try to ask for help, I'm treated poorly. It's like, why bother trying to save a few bucks if it means taking the risk of getting bad product and dealing with unpleasant customer service? I don't know, maybe I'm just being silly.

LovelySkin Poor Customer Service and Shipping Issues with Lovely Skin

I've been buying stuff from Lovely Skin for a long time now, and it's been mostly good, but lately, not so much. I got this hair mousse from them, and it came twice with a broken cap and top, so I couldn't use it. I told them the first time that the thing came unwrapped in the box and was obviously banged around and broken. When the second one arrived, it was the same thing. It wasn't wrapped either, so it banged around in the box during transit and was broken. Both times, the company said it was the shipper's fault and had nothing to do with the person who packed it - unwrapped and unprotected. But guess what? When it arrived the third time, it was wrapped and fine.

Now, I reached out to the company again because I got this travel-size gift set, and the items inside were only half full. I was pretty unhappy with it, so I wanted to return it. But their customer service rep said I had to send photos before they could talk about a return. So I sent the images and the lot number on the box (like they asked), and they came back with an arrogant email telling me that the items arrived as expected, so they wouldn't pay for the return. I had to pay for the shipping if I wanted to return the products. They said these items were filled the same as the ones they have in their warehouse. But I told them they didn't arrive as expected because I would never buy containers that I knew were half full. They refused to make good on this and only gave me 25% off on a future purchase.

Something's changed at the company, and they need to get a handle on how their customer service people treat their customers. I'm going to find another online skincare company from now on.

LovelySkin Disappointing Customer Service from Lovely Skin: Broken Product and Blaming the Customer

I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with Lovely Skin. I ordered this fancy skin product, the Eau Thermal Avene Retrinal 0.05, which I've used before and really like. But when I finally got around to opening the box after the 30-day return policy, the pump didn't work at all. I tried pumping it like a hundred times, and even got my husband to give it a go, but no dice. So this morning, we opened it up and saw that there was no tube connected to the pump. What gives?

So I called up Lovely Skin to see if I could exchange it for a working bottle. Seems like a pretty reasonable request, right? But the customer service rep, Sabrina, was not having it. She told me that the pump should work if I just pump it 20-30 times. Uh, excuse me? I already tried that! When I explained that to her, she accused me and my husband of breaking the bottle ourselves by trying to figure out what was wrong with it. Like, what? It came broken, lady!

Honestly, it seems like Lovely Skin's policy is to always blame the customer. Not cool. I wouldn't recommend shopping with them if you can avoid it.

Update: So, after I wrote this review, Lovely Skin finally offered to exchange the bottle... but I'd have to pay for shipping myself. No thanks. Instead, I did some googling and was able to fix the pump issue on my own. Still not gonna shop with them again, though.

LovelySkin Disappointing Customer Service and Refund Policy at Lovely Skin: A Warning for Sensitive Skin Shoppers

So, I had a pretty bad experience with Lovely Skin. I ordered some products and had a really bad reaction to them. I asked for a refund, but the support team ignored me for days. When I finally got through to someone, they told me there was nothing they could do and offered me a 30% off promo code. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but they hung up on me twice. Finally, after a week of calling, I got through to a manager who told me it was my fault for being allergic to the product and that I should have consulted a dermatologist before buying it. I thought that was really rude and unrealistic. I always check the ingredients before buying anything, and it's not my fault if something I didn't know would cause a reaction ends up being in the product.

I also asked about their return policy for products sold on Amazon, and the manager told me that all of the products sold on Amazon are fake. I was really confused by that and asked for clarification. He ended up telling me that Amazon's return policy is different from theirs and that I should have done my research. I felt like he was just trying to avoid taking responsibility for their own policies.

Overall, I was really disappointed with Lovely Skin's customer service. They didn't seem to care about my concerns or my reaction to their products. I wouldn't recommend buying from them, especially if you have sensitive skin or allergies.

LovelySkin Disappointing Experience with Lovely Skin's Customer Service: A Review

I recently made a purchase from Lovely Skin and unfortunately, my experience was not a good one. I ordered two of the same creams, but when my package arrived, I received two completely different creams. I was quite disappointed and frustrated with this mistake, so I decided to give their customer service a call.

I spoke with a representative named Ashley and explained the situation to her. She asked me to send her a picture of the creams I received so she could see them for herself. I did as she asked and requested that she call me back once she had a chance to review the picture. However, I never received a call back from Ashley.

After waiting for a few days, I decided to call Lovely Skin again and speak with a supervisor. Unfortunately, Ashley was on another call, so I was connected with a supervisor named Ericka. I explained the situation to her and asked if they could send me the correct creams. However, Ericka informed me that they would not pay for the return shipping of the wrong creams and that the only option I had was to pay for the return shipping myself and receive a store credit.

I was quite upset with this response and told Ericka that it was their mistake and they should be responsible for sending me the correct creams. However, Ericka refused to help me any further and had a very unpleasant attitude throughout our conversation. I was extremely disappointed with the way I was treated and will never purchase from Lovely Skin again.

Overall, my experience with Lovely Skin was very frustrating and disappointing. I hope that they can improve their customer service in the future and take responsibility for their mistakes.

LovelySkin Buyer Beware: Lovely Skin Censors Negative Reviews and Punishes Customers for Speaking Out

So, I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Lovely Skin. I mean, I was really excited to try out some of their products, but then I started to have some concerns about how they handle negative reviews. I mean, isn't it important to have honest feedback about products? That's what I thought, anyway.

So, I decided to write a review expressing my concerns. And what did I get in response? A super condescending email from the company, basically telling me to shut up and stop sharing my opinion publicly. And then, to top it all off, they closed my account and took away all the rewards I had earned as a customer. I mean, come on, that's just not cool.

Honestly, I think this kind of behavior is really concerning. I mean, if a company is willing to censor negative reviews and punish customers for speaking their minds, what else are they hiding? It's just not a good look, you know?

So, I would definitely caution anyone thinking about shopping at Lovely Skin. If you value freedom of speech and the right to express your opinion without fear of reprisal, this might not be the place for you. I mean, I think it's really important to have a free marketplace of unbiased, uncensored reviews, and this business just doesn't seem to get that.

LovelySkin Disappointed with Lovely Skin's Quality Control: Received a Used Product

Been shopping at Lovely Skin for a few years now and never had any problems. But my last purchase was a total bummer.

I ordered a Dermalogica microfoliant and a few other goodies. When I got my package, I noticed that the seal on the Dermalogica product was already broken. You know, the one that tells you it's a brand new product? I was like, "What the heck?" So I contacted Customer Service and they told me to talk to the Dermalogica rep. But all they could say was that Lovely Skin is an authorized retailer. Like, duh, I already knew that.

Anyway, Lovely Skin sold me a used product and wouldn't even exchange it. That's just gross. I mean, who wants to put something on their face that's already been opened and used by someone else? Not me, that's for sure. So yeah, I'm done with Lovely Skin.

LovelySkin Disappointing Experience at Lovely Skin: Rude Receptionist and Poor Customer Service

So, I had this gift certificate for a clay masque that my late husband bought for me. I found it after he passed away and decided to redeem it at Lovely Skin. I called them up and told them the situation, even though the certificate had already expired. The person on the phone was nice and said it was no problem. I booked an appointment for a few months later because I had a class reunion coming up and wanted to look my best.

But when I got there, the receptionist was really mean to me. She said they wouldn't honor the gift certificate and treated me like I was trash. I asked to speak to the Office Manager, but she wasn't much help because whoever took my call didn't leave any notes. I had called ahead to make sure everything was okay, but it seemed like they didn't care about me at all. I was really hurt and felt like I had been kicked in the face. The people there were VERY RUDE.

Overall, I would not recommend Lovely Skin to anyone. They don't seem to care about their customers and treat them poorly. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to using that gift certificate and feeling good about myself for my reunion. But instead, I was left feeling hurt and disappointed.

LovelySkin Disappointing Experience with Lovely Skin: No Returns Accepted

I recently had an experience with Lovely Skin, an online company that sells makeup and skin products. I was excited to try out their concealer, but unfortunately, the color I received was super chalky on my skin. I wanted to exchange it for a better color match, but to my disappointment, Lovely Skin does not accept returns. I was stuck with a product that I couldn't use, and to make matters worse, I accidentally ordered two of them.

I was frustrated with the lack of customer service and integrity from Lovely Skin. It seems like they didn't get the memo from other successful companies in the e-commerce space that accept returns for products that don't work out for customers. I understand that it's difficult to test makeup and skin products online, but that's why it's important for companies to have a flexible return policy.

I won't be making any more purchases from Lovely Skin, and I don't think they'll last long in the competitive e-commerce space with such a lack of customer service. There are plenty of other great companies online that offer better products and better customer service, such as Sephora, Dermstore, and Timeless Skincare. I recommend staying away from Lovely Skin and finding a company that values their customers and their satisfaction.

LovelySkin Disappointing Experience with Lovely Skin: Juno Sunday Riley Product Went Bad in a Few Months

I purchased the Juno Sunday Riley product from Lovely Skin about 10 months ago. At first, I was satisfied with the product and its performance. However, after using it for about 3-6 months and halfway through the bottle, I noticed that the face oil started to smell really bad. It smelled like a cheap grocery oil that had gone bad and stale for years. I paid over $60 for this small bottle of oil, and I had certain expectations of its performance. I did not expect it to go bad within a few months of use. I use every single skincare product I buy for at least 6 months to a year, and this was no exception.

When I contacted customer service, they were unwilling to help me because it was out of the return window time frame. I found their response to be super unhelpful, super degrading, and irresponsible for the expensive products they sell that have clearly gone bad. I was disappointed with their lack of customer service and their unwillingness to help me with my issue.

I would not recommend buying from Lovely Skin. As someone who is Korean and has a lot of experience buying high-end products such as SKii, IOPE, Sisley, and Sulwhasoo, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of their product and their customer service. I expected better from a company that sells expensive skincare products.

LovelySkin Lovely Skin's Return Policy is Misleading and Unfair - Beware!

I've been a customer of Lovely Skin for a long time and never had any problems until recently. I decided to try out the Skinmedica TNS product and after using it for about 3 weeks, I started experiencing some irritation. I stopped using it and the irritation went away. I then contacted Lovely Skin to see if I could get a refund since it had only been a few weeks and they have a 30-day return policy.

To my surprise, I was told by Eric that the 30-day clock starts ticking when the order is placed, not when it's received. This was frustrating since it took a few days for my order to arrive and I had only used the product for about 2 weeks before experiencing the irritation. I stopped using it for a week and the irritation went away, but when I started using it again, the irritation returned on day 3. This put me 5 days outside of their return policy and there was no negotiation.

I was told that the reason for their policy is that they don't have knowledge of package delivery, but this seems like a ripoff since they provide customers with a tracking number and can easily track delivery. It's disappointing that Lovely Skin wouldn't work with me on this issue and I won't be using them again in the future. It's important for customers to be aware of their return policy and the potential issues that may arise.

LovelySkin Buyer Beware: My Disappointing Experience with Lovely Skin

So, I gotta tell ya, I had a pretty rough experience with Lovely Skin. I got myself a tube of Skin Medica Daily Defense SPF 30+ back in March of 2013, and I was pretty stoked about it. But, let me tell ya, just one year later, that bad boy had separated into some nasty goo and globs that made it impossible to use. Now, I know that sunscreens are supposed to last at least three years, but get this: the expiration date on the tube they sent me said March 2014! Can you believe that? No wonder it went bad so fast.

So, I called Lovely Skin up at least four times to ask for an exchange. They promised to send me a new product if I sent them back the old one, but it's been over four months since my first call, and I haven't gotten anything from them. No new product, no return authorization, nothing. It's pretty disappointing, to be honest. I mean, they're great at selling stuff, but when it comes to dealing with unhappy customers, they're not so hot.

So, let this be a warning to all you folks out there: if you're gonna do business with Lovely Skin, you better watch out. Make sure you check those expiration dates, and don't trust 'em to sell you fresh products or take care of you if something goes wrong. BUYER BEWARE, my friends.

LovelySkin Lovely Skin Review: Great Products, Poor Customer Service

Lovely Skin (lovelyskin.com) has a wide variety of products to choose from, and they offer some pretty decent discounts and promotions. However, I must say that their customer service is not the best I have ever encountered. If you're thinking of ordering from them, make sure you are 1000 percent certain that you absolutely want and will use the product(s).

It seems like it doesn't matter if you're a loyal, years-long customer or a new one, they will treat you like your business means nothing to them. Even if you call them to cancel an order within minutes after ordering, they will tell you it's too late and then make you pay for the return. Returns are limited to 3 per 12 month period, even when the package is returned immediately and completely unopened, and you paid for the return. It's like you're just a phone number to them.

If they don't see your phone number in their flawed system, they will mistakenly insist that you never called. It's really frustrating when they don't put their customers first. So, buyer beware.

Despite all of this, I still think that Lovely Skin has a lot of great products to choose from. They have a huge selection, and the discounts and promotions are pretty good. However, if you do decide to order from them, just be aware that their customer service may not be the best.

LovelySkin Buyer Beware: My Experience with LovelySkin.com's Customer Service and Return Policy

I gotta tell ya, if you're thinking of buying from LovelySkin.com, you might wanna think twice. I mean, I got my stuff (finally) after waiting for like two weeks, and then I saw the same thing on Beauty.com for way cheaper. So I emailed LovelySkin.com and asked them to match the price like they say they will on their site. But they said no way, no how, without even telling me why. So I was like, fine, I'll just return it then. But that's when the real trouble started.

Their customer service rep was giving me such a hard time, I couldn't believe it. I had to fight tooth and nail just to get a return authorization number. And then, get this, the same customer service rep sent me this super nasty email saying I had to return the three free samples they gave me with my order or else they'd charge me four bucks for each one. Like, seriously? That's just ridiculous.

So yeah, if you're gonna order from LovelySkin.com, don't expect them to match prices or make returns easy like they say they will. Just be prepared for a whole lotta hassle.

LovelySkin unethical business and punitive to customers

If you value free speech to express your opinions online without reprisal from a business, boycott this unethical business! I previously wrote a negative review about potential concerns I had about this company's handling of negative product reviews after noticing they had not posted a negative product review I wrote and their product reviews appeared to be inflated/skewed toward a higher number of positive reviews when compared to identical products on competitor websites. The company's responded to my review by sending a condescending email censoring me for sharing my negative opinion publicly. They conveyed that they process negative reviews in a different manner than positive reviews. A red flag in my opinion! They then closed my account and took the $67 of rewards I had legitimately earned as a loyal customer who spent over $1200 up until my negative review. This business penalizes customers for writing negative reviews. People who value freedom of speech and the right to express your opinion without fear of reprisal should not patronize this business. In my opinion, this business engages in practices that undermine a free marketplace of unbiased, uncensored reviews. They need to brush up on Public Relations and how to deal with negative reviews in an ethical, productive, and non-punitive manner.
