La Rana Furniture / Taking advantage of their customers

My mom went to La Rana Furniture in 103 street Hialeah and bought for the first time the bedroom set of her dreams. When the delivery came that they started to put the bedroom set together it wasn't the one she order from the catalog. I told the delivery men that that bedroom set wasn't it and they told me that it was the one the paper and that if I wanted to changed it I had to pay 20% of the cost of the furniture. We called the saleslady and got the same answer. The bedroom set was $3,000.00 we had to keep it because we can not throw our money away like that. It is sad someone saves up for their first new bedroom set and is stock with something she doesn't even like. This people should get sued for taking advantage of their customers. Now the mattress memory foam is bend in one side and they charge $45.00 dollars to come see what's wrong with it. I am a very disappointed customer and would not recommend this store to anyone.

    I agree that their service is CRAP. I went to the one on 59 and 8 Street this week, unfortunatley i do not have good credit due to two credit cards from when i was a teenager so i needed to take advantage of their financing with no credit check. My sales person Francis is on cloud 100. First after she had me looking at furniture for 40 minutes and inturrupting me 30 times she tells me that FIRST i need to fill out an application and bring in some doc's to present to the company who does their financing...WHY COULDNT SHE HAVE TOLD ME BEFOREHAND, BAD SALES MOVE AND STUPID!!! Second, I take in the doc's requested, she goes to make copies of bank statements bc i refused to leave her originals and she brings back my originals out of order, so i now spent 15 minutes organizing a disaster that he formed because she was too lazy to put them back inorder, im sorry but where i work i would be fired on the spot if i dare give back original documents out of order to a client...its just ###ed how slow and stupid this lady was. Next day, I am supposed to get the call to let me know how much i was approved for and she has de audacity to tell me that i was not approved due to the bank account not being opened for more than 6 months, THIS BANK ACCOUNT HAS BEEN ACTIVE SINCE 2000!!! IS SHE INSANE OR DID SHE JUST SCREW UP, AGAIN.

    These people should not be in business. I had a bad experience with a lying salesman, giving me a quote, and then when I went back to purchase, he reneged on it, telling me he made a mistake. It was a blantant lie, for he had given me the price based on the competition's price that I had shown him/. Stay away, very unprofessional, and from what I have read about them also on, they do not back up their merchandise or even correct their own mistakes. You will be stuck with whatever merchandise they deliver whether its what you ordered or not!
    They hire very unprofessional people that hardly speak English. But I would say that is the least of their problems at this point. Buyer Beware!

    I think that if you did not get what you paid for and they deliver the wrong merchandise you should call your credit card and cancelled the transaction or disputed if not take them to small court for a resolution..

    Yes this worse purchase I ever made in my life. The furniture quality they sale is crap the first day of the purchase the door in the dresser felt down apart. They tell you at the store that the furniture is solid wood and it is not true. I will never recommend rana furniture to anyone at all

    en julio de 2011, compre dos reclinables en la rana furniture de la calle 8 y la 59 avenida, compre dos anos de garantia y resulta que ahora a uno de los reclinable les esta saliendo una mancha en la parte del respaldar, lleve fotos a la misma tienda donde los compre para que vivieran a verlo y no lo han hecho de esto hace cuatro semanas y cada vez que llamo me dan una excusa y dicen que me van a llamar y no lo hacen espero que me resuelvan el problema pues yo pague por la garantia parecen que estan esperando que la garantia caduque para no reparar el dano, espero respuesta y manana voy a ir al warehouse a ver que pasa con mi reclamo, sini hay un departamente de ayuda al consumidor y se los hare saber, cliente disgustado con el d=servicio de la muebleria la rana

    Yo me quejo de la vendedora magalys en la 8st y la 59 y de rosa las dos tienen un cartel encontra de la descriminacion y un cartel descriminando a algunas religiones al lado y cuando se los comente se burlaron de mi y cuando les pedi hablar con la persona encargada me la negaron. Una semana despues y no he logrado hablar con nadie de rana furniture responsable. Por favor vallan a la tienda a ver el cartel que les digo.

    "After 10 years with the last set of furniture, we decided it was time to buy something new. We were only going to window shop, but Tony helped us find our new furniture. He was a no pressure salesman. Helped us get our order done quickly. Besides, it was the best quality for the price that we found. I highly recommend Rana Furniture.

    There is not customer service at all!. After you sign the papers they are going to treat you as badly as they can. Beware of them.

    I have a bad experience with lying sales person from RANA FURNITURE but we can take them to small claim court or call channel 7 HELP ME HOWARD OR EL CANAL 23 A TU LADO do not be afraid

    I am trying to resolve a situation and having difficulty defining what would be your decision in my case. I did not have a and bought a sofa that saw me sold, telling me to be leather. I paid an exorbitant sum and some months ago began to peel. Seeing that the resolution process is extending, through an email I gave them a week deadline (which is today) to give me a specific response. Otherwise, I will contact the bank to dispute the charges or I will complain to the client protection agency. This afternoon I will post anther comment either with a negative or positive resolution or they not even contact me.
