This company is a total fraud. They are a new online personal data mining site that collects data on you, true or not, and posts it on the web promising people they will sell the "dirt" on anyone. There is no opt-out and they often have aliases listed that are not even the same gender as the person. They have an 800 number but that is ONLY for sales who will admit they cannot even get responses from or (their legal) They are cowards who steal money and will tell you to read their terms of service they DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS even if they charge you for not cancelling a trial. They are completely private under GODADDY (WRITE TO ABUSE@GODADDY.COM TO COMPLAIN) and they are bottom feeders. STAY CLEAR OF THEM, DO NOT GIVE THEM A PENNY AND DO FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM--they do not have the right to sell our identities with false information attached to them. YOU CAN COMPLAIN HERE TO THE FTC, IT TAKES 5 MINUTES MAX: These rogue companies HAVE TO BE TAKEN DOWN.

Due to my wife and my current employment, we fear for our lives and the safety of our family. I called ID true and asked them to remove our information from their database. They told me I needed to get a court order. They do not offer an opt-out option, like most reputable sites to do. I believe we should file a class action lawsuit against them for failing to provide their datasources, libel and reckless endangerment.

The other reviewers are right. This company not only refuses to deliver reports but they NEVER remove your information. They are a sleazy scam just like the other people search engines. They have duplicate profiles of everyone on their site. Their "opt-out" feature does nothing. Your idtrue "profile" will still appear in google searches and on idtrue's site as well. Calling them is a waste of time, they pretend supervisors don't exist there and play dumb. There IS something you can do about it and you don't need to hire a lawyer. You HAVE to contact your state's attorney general or governor's office which will have a consumer complaint division. There you just have to type in the complaint and the state will investigate. You also NEED to submit a complaint through the FTC at
The FTC and state governments will file a lawsuit against those idiots when enough complaints are received by their offices. They did it with directv among others and it was only because enough people spoke up. Idtrue doesn't care that stalking victims requests to opt out are ignored!
