The railroad crossings in Baldwin Florida on us route 90 and yellow water road are constantly blocked by the trains stopping on the tracks and backing up frequently. A lot of people travel this route daily, so it doesn't take long for a major back up in traffic to happen. Please put in an overpass, use shorter trains or at least find a way to do your business more efficiently and stop blocking traffic for such long periods of time. Gas isn't free and EVERYONE's time is valuable to them and their family's. Please be more considerate to those around you. Thank you for your time have a blessed day.

Everyday, at the intersection of 79th and Georgetown Indianapolis, IN the track is located just west of Georgetown ON 79th Street. This track is tearing up my car as well as everyone else's. It's destructive boards that flip up and hits the passing over cars is Very unsafe for everyone passing over this tract. I have personally called in the past after getting a flat tire asking this to be completely redone, as it is a very busy 'work' intersection. My call apparently meant nothing. There was a cone placed there for a day, it was gone the next day and nothing happened. Very large trucks from Bone Dry Roofing a nearby company, must pass over this tract extremely slow as well as any vehicle going over this particular track. EVERY day, many times a day, it's just getting worse. Not to mention the back ups and delays this causes after employees get off work and want to just get home or out of this area, the backup is uncalled for especially since this is a high tax work area and our tax money or something should be in the budget to completely remove the boards that hits our cars with boards that we can just run over and be SAFE

my grandmother lives at 12205 9th st tampa fl and one of your trees on your property fell on her fence and on her shed and i'd like it to be removed as soon as possible if you go on 122nd from 15th and fowler go between the tracks and you can't miss it the tree is big please take care of for her she in her 80's and she can't do it please help her thank you

I can say that i speak for the whole community in Dinsmore Area in Jacksonville Fl. 32219 . I have lived in the area for 15 years and have had no problems with the trains but now for the past few months they seem to be getting really bad at slowing down and then they just sit there. For example today 9-13 at 11:30 i had to sit at Dunn ave. and Old Kings Rd. for 20 minutes then i had to go out again at 5:00 was coming back home at 6:30 and another train was just sitting again and had 4 tracks blocked so in my case i had to go roughly 12 to 15 miles around and way out of my way to get home. I really think think that is way to long for anyone to have to wait or to even find alternate route to get around the trains. I understand we just went through a hurricane but this has been going on for awhile. If anyone where to need to get out or in for and emergency there would be a serious problem.I really don"t know what else to say except i hope you understand and try to figure out some kind of a solution. Once again residents of Southport housing zip 32827, were rudely awakened by needless and repetitious horn blasts last night occurring between 11:30pm Aug 28 and 1:00am Aug 29. There are no public crossings anywhere near the Boggy Creek bend. This activity has been going on for well over a year and in many past cases such horn blastings throughout the night. CSX needs to fire whoever this train driver is!

The train has been sitting across the tracks since Saturday Aug 19 2017. Called and talked to complaint line. The train is not able to be accepted into Chicago and no ETA is given either. There is several hundred yards of siding track available in front of the train. Why don't you seperate the train into 2 sections so vechiles can pass. Vehicles (school buses and garbage trucks) are turning around in my driveway and causing damage. Crossing # 155-791U

At train stop 641184W (A49027) in Garden City, GA at approximately 7:35 AM on August 16, 2017 I discovered the train stopped and it was blocking the intersection. The end of the train could be seen two cars down. It blocked school buses as well as morning commuter traffic. The same exact issue occurred on Saturday, August 12 at 12:55 am. That night, I waited over 30 minutes. Since the end of the train could be seen, it is obvious that you miscalculated the number of cars it would take to clear the stop before the train stopped. This is totally unacceptable.

Your train crossing on Woodland Brook is an absolute nightmare. Yesterday (8-14-17)for some reason a train decided to block the entire road for over an hour (that is how long I waited before turning around, it could have been longer). Woodland Brook is a vital road for evening rush hour and your train caused the entirety of the road blocked during peak hours. This is not the first time this month one of your trains has blocked this particular crossing. This mishap added 1 hour and 22 minutes to my evening commute. This is unacceptable, do you not care about how your trains impact peoples day to day? It certainly seems like your company is happy to inconvenience others at your benefit. I need to know that this will not happen again. You cannot back traffic up for four miles during rush hour. You negatively impacted hundreds of people yesterday and we deserve an answer to what happened and assurances that it will not happen again. People were running out of gas because they waited so long, I had to turn my car off and sit in the heat so I wouldn't run out of gas.

They are holding up trucks trying to get loads in and out of ramps with the new xgate system that jams up everyday. And the guy in the booth that can clear the mistake was told to disrespect and disregard drivers to FORCE them to use the broken xgate system. Normally a driver can get 4 to 5 loads out per day, now a driver is barely getting 2 out, and the csx xgate has destroyed my phone and they said they are not responsible. What can I do?

Terre haute, indiana 47802. Im a business owner on Washington street, near 15th, and the tracks are constantly blocked. Today, every street to even get to my shop is blocked, every major road! It took me 45 minutes to get to my shop, i lost a very important customer that had an appointment with me this morning and im tired of it, along with everyone else thats been out here, driving around trying to figure out how to get to their jobs. Your company isnt more important than all the people of our city. i never complain about anything, but this is ridiculous, i understand occasional blocking, but you cant block every street to the other side of town. Have some respect for the people in this city and maybe use some technology to keep your trains from blocking our streets, but im sure you already use that technology and just dont care about making people late for work, businesses that open late, or like me, lose an important client.

Is it CSX standard operating procedure to advise CSX rail conductor to target American citizens that file complaints along their routes? Of later, I have come to believe this to be the standard procedure. As a child, I found it awe inspiring when a train would pass by and the conductor would wave at me.
However, that awe has turned to vexation as my neighborhood is now a target of willful miss use of a rail engine and the cargo that many companies pay large sums of money to transport.

Why are the American citizen voice not being heard and CSX is allowed to terrorize our communities at will? In Smyrna within the city limits there are numerous street cameras at intersections that capture the 12-24 hour trains that align themselves near the homes of elderly, single mothers, low income families and near schools. I wonder if anyone has fallen asleep at the wheel of a car. Due to a night of sleep deprivation where trains have sat idling over 12 hours near their homes in the middle of the night.

Is there no one watching these men and their antics? Are we really safe in our homes when they park so close? Should we allow our children outside, they could actually be the ones kidnapping and selling our kids to sex traders. They travel and stop at will. Who is watching them and verifying they are not pedophiles running those trains?

I wonder if the police ever thought to compare the locations where children go missing to each place the trains stops? These questions that run through my mind when trains idle near an area where kids walk to and from school. It may be a moot point be watching those kids cross near those tracks with a train idling very near by is off putting to say the least.

I do have a suggestion for others complaining about the noise level, purchase a FLUKE Sound Meter. They are used by the airports to measure sounds inside of homes near the airport. Our Smyrna Rail Noise Group has purchased over 20 so far for the homes within 2000 feet of the tracks; you can find them at Amazon.com or the FLUKE.com websites. Don't forget to video tape yourself while measuring the noise level.

My name is George and Shirley Bell and we reside at 808 Truitt St. In Lagrange GA 30240 and I wanted to write to let y'all know that I had a garden in my yard and you guy's came and killed all my vegetables with the spray to kill the weeds on the rail tracks and I call the police and the guy he talk to told me to contact the company and that the company will fix this problem. The train horns in my neighborhood off of lavista road and Frazier road in Decatur Ga, have been blessedly silent these last 3 years. This is due to the new double gates put in at that time and a long-sought agreement with CSX to stop.
For whatever reason these past few weeks, our engineering friends have decided to bring back the horns of Hades again. And they only do it going east. And these dear men do it consistently and at all hours now. Can someone tell me why? There's no need for it and a nudge or reprimand from corporate management would alleviate this fast. Please be a good business citizen and talk to these clowns

I'm at 345 Springbrook Dr Medina Ohio. At 4am they don't need to blow the horn so excessively. Some only blow the horn 1 time at 4am, thank you to those. The guy this morning and on ​other occasions blows it so long and so much it's ridiculous and then I'm up the rest of the morning due to my nerves. I'm not even kidding, this morning at 4am the 1st blow was so loud and long, I thought there was an emergency going on. Then they preceded to blow the horn at least 30-40 more times, through a residential area. My mom has 3 different types of cancer and now she's awake and can't get back to sleep. This is just way too ridiculous and really just so unbelievably rude. I understand you have to blow the horn, but there needs to be something done. I am not exaggerating when I say sometimes for almost 45 times they blow the horn, while others do it just once. I seriously think the guy this morning and several other occasions was just doing it to be a [censor]. Please resolve this matter. Thank you

For the past 7 months horn blowing has grew excessively to the point of effecting my health causing severe insomnia which has lead me to be on a constant medicine regiment. I don't like having to take pills in order to have a goodnight rest. The following morning I'm sluggish from the effects of the medication. All 3 of the local (Woodbine Ky.) train track crossings were blocked and I find that both unsafe, selfish and inconvient and Furthermore would like for that situation to be brought to the attention of someone in charge. There are to many cases in which this happens and is very much all the above and My family and neighbors and I don't appreciate that

Is it necessary to have train conductors (engineers or whatever they're called) blow the horn for long periods of time after midnight in residential areas? Every night, literally EVERY NIGHT...trains roll by my house laying on the horn at 12, 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am...how are people supposed to sleep? I live in Madison, TN just north of Nashville. I get that they need to notify cars if they're at an intersection ...but some conductors just do a few short taps on the horn and they're done and that's great...the rest are literally just ### who don't care that they're laying on it for minutes at a time. I'm sick of it and tired of being woken up

Excessive amount of very loud horn blowing. I am gonna kick this conducterrs ### I will stop the ###ing train and pull his ### out and ### him up.. there is no need for that ###.. he is a ###ing ###HOLE that getting off on this .. there are enough ###HOLS in Edgewood already. So ### if CSX will not break his ###ing hand I will...There are 2 other trains later that realize that it is ###ing nite they don't do that ###.. so 2:30 ###ing slime. I will find you and ### you up.. my insomnia is bad enough...

RR ties are being replaced in the area of Stevenson Alabama and placed in a green area at the historic depot downtown. The ties are being stacked and hauled away by a Bobcat. It is mass destruction over there. A mass area of mud out into the highway. A total mud pit. Will CSC be fixing this after the work is done? Check out the pics...this was green space!
