Craigslist lawn service

This person and or business advertised the first grass cut is free. He did a horrible job and is now trying to charge me $35.00 for the free cut. I have no problem actually paying this man a fair price for his work which is about $25.00 even though by his ad I don't have to pay him anything. You have to take this guy off your website. He is less than honest. I really don't understand how you let people like this advertise on your web site. I will definitely pay him a fair price for his work. He did a horrible job and based on his ad on your web site the work is free. I really don't understand how you let people like this use your website for advertising. Lots of people assume you screen these people but I guess you don't. This remark will go to the local Pittsburgh newspaper if i don't hear back from you.

Craigslist unethical behavior

I received a text on Monday from a girl named herself as Tiffany about my new mattress add. She negotiated about the price and I wanted to be nice to her so I accepted her offer. She said she will come by and pick it up on Sunday. I rejected other buyers during the week as she stated she wants the item and will pick It up but then on Sunday I sent her lots of texts to ask when she is planning to come but she did not reply me back. I would like you guys to send a notice to this person so she realizes she should be thoughtful of others and if she changes her mind at least inform the seller and not just completely ignore. Her number is [protected]

Craigslist your captcha verification glitches!

Everytime I try your verification garbage - capitcha, I have to punch about 5 to 15 different pages to get to see the stupid adv I wanna see! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

What is the matter with you people at complaints department? Can you not read, comprehend, or what? I find it difficult to believe that all of you are this "stupid"!
Date of incident = every single time, I try to find the contact information for : "anyone" who placed an advertisement (For sale) on craigslist sioux falls, s. D. 57104
Resolution requested = how to rec contact information,... Without having to use the really stupid "capitcha" pictures that simply: do not work, unless I fill an extremely huge amount of those dumb cards! = usually 5 to 8 cards/pictures/etc.!
Fyi: this will no doubt be my last try at the futility of asking you people for some help. I perhaps can find another online site to validate my beefs!

Craigslist vacation rental oceanside

Chris Luxurious [protected]@gmail.com

This was individual who responded to my recent about renting accommodation for 10 family members Dec 23-30/2017.

I received email stating this week was available and the total price was $1, 850. Upon checking other rentals in the area and the same time frame, this sounded way too good to be true. Also, noted a few grammatical errors in the communication.

The address I was given was 811B S Pacific St., Oceanside.

Perhaps this poster needs to be investigated as I believe it's a scam.

Today I received a short email stating "Are you still interested?"

Thank you.

Carol Rivard

Craigslist room for rent

Date of the incident: April 1. 2017 until present.

This complaint is against Howard Liu, who runs the Room for Rent business at the address 2369 South Forest St, WA 98144. The business name is Lake Heights LLC 4001.

I just moved out of the rental room on Mar 31, 2017 and terminated my lease 3 months earlier than the signed contract due to the non-integrity of the landlord.

The complaints include privacy violation, non-safety environment, below public health standard, and greedy charging after departure.

A- Below public health standard:

1. When I first moved in on July 26, 2016, the sink got a big hole in it and it was rusty and nasty. The landlord never fixed it.

2. The room comes with an available mattress, desk, chair and closet. The mattress has a very huge spring poky hole that had never been replaced. The previous tenant has warned me and he never fixed it.

3. When I first moved in on July 26, 2016. The living room and the kitchen were completely contrast to what the picture showed on Craigslist. The kitchen stove was nasty and had a lot greasy oil inside. During the Skype interview before I moved in (I rented the room online because I lived in TX and needed a place to stay immediately after my arrival at Seattle), the landlord mentioned that I could use the available pots, pans, plates, etc.

B. Non-safety environment:

1. The electricity went off in the winter several time and it was cold at night. It was hard to call him even though he lived in the same house because he blocked all the tenants' number. I bought a personal heater because I need a warmer temperature but he said, “not to use it because it made the breaker went off most of the time.” He was willing to turn up to 69oF, which was still too cold for most tenants in the house.

2. I constantly got respiratory problems because something came off from the heater/fan on the top of the ceiling.

C. Greedy charging after departure:

1. I understand that the landlord may keep the $490 last month rent as the break fee. But the In the contract, there is no saying about breaking the lease fee or wiping/cleaning the laundry, fridge, kitchen sink/surfaces, shower tub/sink.

2. The landlord tried to keep all of the deposit $650, which includes the last month rent $490 and refundable deposit $160 that I paid in the beginning when I moved in.

3. When I arrived there after being picked up at the airport, the kitchen was so greasy that I could not even cook. Plus, the cabinets are supper dusty and oily that no plates, pots, pans could be organized. My fridge area was spotted by ketchup and dust. The landlord told me that due to his mom's blindness, when she lived there, she could not clean up and things had to be the way it was so she could reach it if she came back. In fact, she never came back and he never cleaned it. As a result, I spend 1 day and a half to clean, scrub, and shop for supplies. Since I didn't have any convenient transportation available, I had to walk and used bus.

But when I moved out, the landlord ridiculously charged me for not cleaning after my departure because I left one dusty surface on my desk. Here is what he charged me on the email “2 hrs x 40 = 80 for cleaning (material and shopping time included).” This means that 1 cleaning hour is $40. That is way higher than nursing wage per hour. This also means that he charged this amount for everyone who did not clean/wipe and he ought to do the work if he charged it. Since I was the one doing the work for scrubbing the fridge and the kitchen when I first moved in, he did not do what he charged other people. Also, he should pay me instead.

4. There were hooks that were already on the door when I moved in, so when I moved out I left it the way it was. However, he persisted that they were mine. In the email, he charged me ““3 hrs x 50 = 150 for patching and paint over (material and shopping time included.”

D. Privacy violation:

1. In November 2016 at about 7:45pm, he knocked loudly and then slammed on the tenant's door next door to me. I was Skyping with my partner and then we heard their very rude conversation. The reason was that the smoke alarm went off due to the next-door tenant's cooking and he wanted to warn her. But she was on the phone so she could not answer. As a landlord, I believe that privacy is more important for everyone in the house. He could have been tented or email later.

2. Twice, the landlord used my room as a model for people who are interested in renting. I didn't feel comfortable for doing that.

3. He knocked on the window glass, which can view my entire room from the outside in the backyard, while I was dancing half nakedly in my room. I wonder why he didn't knock on the regular door, but he had to knock on that door. I felt very uncomfortable after he did that.

E. What's happening now?
He is trying to argue on the email with me about cleaning. Even though I have already answered that I cleaned as I go, this was what he asked over and over again “did you wipe clean the sink in the kitchen once just before your sudden departure?”
He has not refunded my deposit back. His intention was trying to keep all of the deposit. I have contacted previous tenants to get more understanding of how they dealt with him when they left. One lady said that he charged her 2 hours of cleaning due to a blind spot, dirty floor. She only got $60 back out of around $300 deposit. Another lady said that he charged her the same thing and he even charged her $9.05 after taking all of the deposit.

F. My desirable resolution:
I would like the Seattle Rental Association, Better Business Bureau, and Seattle Health Department, etc. To come and check out this rental business because he did not register nor have a license to rent the room out of his house like this. Future tenants will get ripped off and accepted the low quality of living even though they pay the same amount of money that can be paid somewhere else.

I would like to request a full deposit refund $160 back to me.

G. Attachments:
1. The picture of the desk surface that he took as a proof against me. It should only take 5 minutes wiping but he charge for 2 hrs and $40/hour.
2. The picture with five hooks that have already there when I first moved in and he charged me $150 for not taking it off.
3. The picture of after cleaning the kitchen.
4. Window glass that he looked into.

Craigslist pop up camper

This guy sold us a camper. Told us it was in good condition. Told us it was ready to go camping. We paid him $1800.00 got it home and the side came unglued from roof. He obviously glued it so we wouldn't notice and on ride home it came undone. Took it to rv service center and was told its unsafe to camp in. I am sooooooo mad! We have small children and he knew that. If that roof had collapsed it could have killed them and us.
I tried to contact him about this and he won't return any calls. He sold it to us via craigslist. He put his name on bill of sale as walter ward ii but his mom and dads name are jean and jeff rice, so not sure if he gave us a fake name or not. His number is [protected] hes in north carolina. Never again will i buy from craigslist. This is so dishonest. Hope we don't need to get a lawyer.

Take this down, Ms Sloan.
You know he didn't steal any email addresses from you, and he is sure is NOT a hacker or a scammer.
You are a being libelous toward him. Libel is a publishing a false statement that can be damaging to a person's reputation.
It is written defamation. You kept his property wrongfully for over 6 months! For no reason. He had to go to court and have the Judge make you give his property back. I've been wanting to say shame on you about this for a very long time.
This is most certainly NOT Carl typing this and he has no idea I am, writing this.
This is someone who cares very much for him no matter whats going on.

Craigslist incredibly under priced small tractors

This information is for one incident but I keep finding this type of listing repeatedly on Craigslist. No information only extremely low prices and only a gmail address.
I went on Craig's for Sacramento. I saw an ad for a tractor that looked like a great deal. Only information was an email contact. I emailed the individual who was very friendly and said she was going through a divorce and needed to sell the tractor asp. She said she was a flight attendant for American airlines and was using eBay vehicle protection program to handle the transaction and deliver the tractor which was part of the cost. If I didn't like the tractor I could return after 5 days at owners expense. She asked for my name and contact info. And said she would pass it on to eBay. I gave the information and then received an email from "eBay" with an invoice number and directions on making the payment by purchasing 4-$500 eBay gift cards. Fortunately when trying to purchase the gift cards one of the store managers said that federal law only allowed her to sell one $500 gift card per day and I should do some research to make sure this wasn't a scam.

Craigslist posting on craigslist

Craigslist keeps deleting my post and it is npt spam nor nothing bad. I even waited the 48 hours, still keep delting my post or will ghost the ad (says active post but its not really active). In my ad I offer my services and both I and the person responding tk my ad get paid and my first post did show up and I did help a lot of people but couple days later my post gets flagged right away or in the 15mins no matter how I reword it.

they have done the same to me. their contact phone numbers are fake and bogus published telephone lines [protected], or [protected]) to intentionally and successfully misread the public. this corporation has monopolized the classified advertising market and is now acting like maniac making more sheep out of the consumers and people. there is nowhere else to advertise as the local newspapers have all gone out of business.

Craigslist very unprofessional

Craigslist is highly unprofessional service, I would not trust it. I tried to find a job on Craigslist but just wasted my precious time. At the beginning when I just found this site and I was surprised to see so many job offers, but unfortunately many of them were fake. I found an interesting job offer in modeling and decided to give it a try and sent my resume. They contacted me pretty fast and after we discussed all the details I found out that it had nothing to do with modeling. It was a nude photo session offer. And there are tons of that stuff on Craigslist! And it seems like Craigslist moderators don't care about that and no one actually checks what is posted on the website! Craigslist is not to be trusted!

Craigslist cars & trucks for sale by owner

I buy & sell vehicles occasionaly, but ofcourse i check these ads frequently. The ads are being flooded by scammers that want your email for whatever reason. I am a serious buyer & seller ! I see to often scammers taking pics of others vehicles & listing them for assinine prices. Im pretty good on knowing average or realistic price for pretty much any vehicle listed, even differences in state to state values. I run across vehicles that are worth example 5 to 12000 & these ### are listing them for 1, 290 or 1, 509 example. There are rare exeptions like if a couple splitting & she lists his vehicle just to get rid of it, ofcourse only legal if her name is on title. Im not the brightest bulb & have easily doubled, tripled & more on some buys. I also know some are so out of the loop they dont know or even check to see what their vehicles are worth or they might be really need the money. It is like a game to me when i go through the ads sometimes its one after another & prohibit them, cause i hate scammers ! I notice that scammers also dont use the individual pics, just the main one they copy & most want you to contact them by email. I am seeing some leaving # to call but then you are told to leave your email. I also do investigative searches on issues that concern me. I want you to know before i delete an ad its not just by price. I read the ad, if it has blown head gasket or engine or body damage & or other factors that reflect a low price that is considered. I
