Craigslist Ad postings

When trying to post an ad for offer help people with moving service for a job the ad keeps getting declined in there system and in the past have done plenty of jobs on craigslist with the exact same ad. I been moving local and long distance mover for both residential and businesses and all my customers very satisfied. Now when I try to post with the same credit card always use, the card is automatically declined. We need work to survive and this is not right.

Desired outcome: Be able to post a legitimate ad for work.

Craigslist Moving

I hired a moving company that was listed on craigslist. "Local Moving Pros" aka "Wise moving & smart packing". The owner Robert Taylor came to my house and gave me an estimate of $1350 and no more than $1600. He said that his company would pack our things on Tue. in 5 hrs, and move me on Wed. in 4 hrs. His people finally had almost all of our stuff packed and moved on Fri. They left some valuable items, damaged some of my goods, and STOLE 2 items; one we saw them drive off with and they said they would be right back... they never came. Then I was told that they would ship me the item. It's been over 3 weeks, and still no vacuum cleaner, as well as an expensive blanket. The total cost for this service came to over $5000. The owner will not call me back to give me his full name and address, so I can sue this crooked S.O. B. He has had 6 complaints to the BBB in the last 3 yrs. We had to pay in cash and were never given receipts. My lawyer got me the necessary info. to sue this CROOK and advised me to report the theft to the police.

Desired outcome: Post a warning on your site or ban from posting and thereby ripping off any more people

Craigslist Able to post an ad

I am trying to create a post this morning. when I go to create a post it says that this website is not available, However craigs list in general will open to view ads already posted in that category, Have tried calling your contact numbers but cannot reach a person. Are you having site problems right now? As stated the site appears to bee working in general but not the ability to post at the moment. Would appreciate if it could be looked in and see if it is a system wide error or technical troubles. We have checked into our system and it appears to be on the craigs list end of things.

Craigslist Post in CL portland, multnomah co, housing, apartments/housing for rent

Hello, I am writing to inform of a scam post. The web address for the post is https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/apa/d/dallesport-newly-renovated-bed-bath/7611958112.html# The number of the scammer is [protected]. Their email is [protected]@gmail.com.

The supposed address of the place they are renting, which is an address that doesn´t exist is 3793 Klindt Dr., The Dalles, Oregon.

They talked to me by SMS texts and by email. I have screenshots of all of their texts and the emails.

They said they required a credit report beforehand. They sent me a link to get a credit score to the business called IDENTITY IQ. It would not open from my phone or from my computer. I finally got it to open on my son´s phone. I am checking right now to see if my son´s phone got infected from that link in any way. I do not know.

I am going to try to talk to IDENTITY IQ right now and close the account I had to open to get the credit score. And to let them know about the scammer as well.

I went ahead and sent my credit report. It did have more private information than I felt comfortable sharing, but it did not have credit card numbers or any kind of identifying number for me. But I did not feel comfortable sharing past addresses and things like that for sure. That stuff was on the credit report.

After sending the credit report, this person sent another link and said I had to fill out another credit report. At that point, I refused. Then, the peron asked for a deposit, which I also refused. I started to ask for the information of the party that was renting, and I got no answers. Finally, I informaed the person that I would be reporting them. And I stopped replying to their messages.

Desired outcome: I would like steps to be taken to ensure that this scammer has no access to Craigslist for future scams and report this scammer to protect others. I will cooperate with Craigslist to report this person as a witness.

Craigslist Craigslist denver

I sometimes browse the musical instruments for sale. Recenyly i noticed that the craigslist operating system apparently has been updated to be more advanced, and more complicated. While scrolling through the many items listed for sale, the display jumps to other locations by itself. And then a split screen repeatedly comes up asking me to enter search preferences.

THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING AND NOT NECESSARY. I AM CAPABKE OF SCROLLI G THROUGH THE LISTING WITHOHT YOUR #"!*> AI.

Desired outcome: Provide the user with a means to disable your new innovative idiocy.

Craigslist Unable to deactivate my Craigslist account

Having used CraigsList now for over a decade, I decided to stop using the site due to the continuing and persistent scam attempts tried on me and lately the annoying fake emails, texts and even phone calls revealing an interest in my item. Many times the incoming contacts begin within just minutes of posting an item for sale at CL. Most of these folks will actually make an appointment to see the item, then never show up, nor do they make any attempt to cancel the appointment.

Today I tried to deactivate my CL account and CL sent me deactivation links that will not work. It seems that CL may need to keep my account in their books so they can keep their dwindling number of paid advertisers?

CraigsList has become the perfect example of what former U.S. President LBJ once oddly said: "Nothing comes free. Nothing. Not even good, especially not good."

Desired outcome: I would like to see a much better maintained inexpensive buying and selling local website that has some security.

Please explain why this listing was flagged. I have reviewed your terms of use and find no violation. I'm a landlord and this is happening to me more and more frequently. I don't know if it's disgruntled former tenants or a disgruntled former employee - I've been a landlord for a long time. But I don't discriminate or do anything illegal. And I need to rent my apartments - they are my job and my income.

Desired outcome: Please repost the ad, and tell me why this one was flagged. I don't want to repeat the mistake - whatever it was.

Craigslist Flagging

I own my residence in Georgia and am trying to rent out my basement apartme however my posting gets flagged continually. There's nothing discriminatory included in the text that I'm made aware of and Craigslist does alert you for example "woman" in my text was flagged but they notified me of the issue. Why then am I not notified about what the issue is with a simple "Basement for rent" posting? I have been flagged about 20 times. I paused posting for awhile and then resumed and again was flagged. Ads containing prostitution, apartments for women only... I view on the site daily! I appreciate the site for other services such as "for sale" but I'm just not understanding what the problem is and the help desk is no help. I put all the information requested for the desk and no response, I was just directed to a confusing jumble of people in a seemingly public chat room with non helpful responses.

Desired outcome: I would like to find a way to have my posting maintained on the site for someone to get a nice apartment in these trying times.

Last year 1 of your people told me they red flag every thing because most people want sex. He told me he has even red flagged his dad;s adds.

Seniors don't give a damn about sex, We are loosing friends every day and want to chat with others about surviving covid19. But as soon as you post. within 5 min the add is gone.

this guy even threatened me if he found out I was going to write a complained.

If you don't belief me just check the Nova Scotia site. All colums are empty.

Craigslist Moderators boston help desk

Over 50 of my listings were flagged within minutes of each other.

Desperate to know why, immediately below is what I penned "CL Help" asking for assistance and an explanation.

------------------------------------------------------

Attack [protected]:37 PST someone removed over FIFTY (50) listings yesterday from my craigslist listings. Listing like:

TRUMP Cement Sculpture - $45

Large Reinforced Cement PIG - $175

Craftsman Wood Clamps - $25

Double Squirrel Cement Sculpture - $95

Directional Reinforced Concrete Obelisk - $80

Kellogg's Cereal Dispenser - $100

LARGE Reinforced Cement Gargoyle Statue - $250

Vintage Brass Sundial - $125

Painted Massive Cement Skull - $135

Outdoor/Indoor TIKI GOD Sculpture - $90

Unique Large Mermaid Sculpture - $225

------------------------------------------------------

This is what I received  from the CL Moderators. Not much HELP at the help desk. I'd label these CL representatives as arrogant bullies, lacking basic linguistic communication skills as well as the lack knowledge needed to be a moderator.

------------------------------------------------------

this just in at "cl - help desk" :

You are a spammer. [protected]:53 PST

You deserve to be attacked.  (Editors Note):  Is this guy an adolescent? You call this help.

------------------------------------------------------

this just in at "cl - help desk" :

I'll bet you weren't [protected]:04 PST

posting your ads as a dealer... did I win?  (Ed Note):  I guess this person showed me who has power. This moderator won alright. What a great job representing CL.

------------------------------------------------------

this just in at "cl - help desk" :

You're a dealer posting by owner. [protected]:16 PST  (Ed Note:  Where does it say you can't be a dealer. I suspect 99% of for sale listings are posted by a dealer at some level.

------------------------------------------------------

I would be remiss if I didn't include the two civil replies I received.

----------------------------------------------

this just in at "cl - help desk" :

Removal is not an attack. Go to CL Flag Help for [protected]:11 PST

help with your flagged ads. This is Help Desk. Help Desk is for general assistance using the site, Help Desk does not deal with flagged ads. CL Flag Help deals with flagged ads. Here's a link: https://forums.craigslist.org/?forumID=3 When you go to CL Flag Help make sure you fill out the entire form.

(Ed Note): Thank you Imelda Snarkos.  Unfortunately I've experience the rathe of the Boston moderators at the "Flagged Help Desk" in the past. As I mentioned above many "flagged help desk" moderators are arrogant bullies, lacking basic linguistic communication skills.

----------------------------------------------

this just in at "cl - help desk" :

The system not a person altho' [protected]:47 PST

staff may have flagged them to prompt the system to wake up. Any ads still active? Give me a sample link, but you should be in Flag Help Porum. Drop https:// if the forum complains

(Ed Note): Thank you Helpful Hedda.  A few years ago I had this same issue. I was bombarded with sarcastic meaningless replies which were no help what-so-ever. I sat back and did nothing. This time I'm complaining.

Craigslist Orlando ad for a 2014 Mazda 6 ad number [protected].html

This white mazda 6 is listed for $3,200.00 with a phone number of [protected]. Ad is still posted as of this writing.

I found ad last week end and have tried to phone at least once daily and as much as 3x, leaving my name and number to have seller call me about vehicle.

I'm beginning to think its a scam as I have not received a call back in 5 days.

Desired outcome: As I'm interested in the car I'd like to here back from the seller so I can arrange seeing the vehicle and ultimately purchase if car checks out.

Craigslist Person left job half done

I hired a tile contractor from craigslist in Honolulu Hawaii under skilled trade services. The person came out and did half of the work and then left for two weeks. He never finished and when I got a hold of him yesterday morning he claimed that he can come over which he did. But after I let him unto our property and I went into the house to get something, when I came out all he did was pick up his tools that he had left behind on my patio and left.

He still has about half the work that needs to be done and I already paid him in full — by mistake. I wanted to make a formal complaint as his ads are still on craigslist and his work is fraudulently advertised. They all say under 30% off for tile installation — with his phone number [protected].

After he left I tried to text him - with no answer. I just assume he came to get his tools and left even he claimed that he was gonna finish and he could be done by Thursday. He lied again.

I need to know what my options are as I would like to have his ads at least deleted. I paid him his final $1300 in advance which was my mistake. My number is [protected] and you have my email.

Can you call me or email me or text me?

He left a mess each day he was here, so the picture below is to show the tile he did not lay and all the tile that still needs to be grouted. This is after I have cleaned up the deck mess that he left.

These are the postings that I found, but there may be others:

Craigslist Incorrect listing

dates are between oct 25th and the 27th- you had a listing of a 1981-13 western aluminum boat for $500 that I texted the seller and her name was Donna Carter whom stated that her husband had passed on two months ago and that she sold her house her in seattle and moved to Butte Montana with her daugter and that she just wanted to get rid of the boat because it gave her bad memories so I told her thast I was interested in it, then she explained to me that she had an account with ebay and that I had to get ebay gift cards to pay the $500 so I did and in her statement to me was that she would pay to have it sent to me at her expense ( shipping) and later she said that it will cost another $1000 to ship it and that I would have to pay half of that and then I told her to check her statement to me about that how she was going to have it sent at her expense and that was the last Time I heard from her.

Desired outcome: I would like a response please and thank you

Craigslist Advertising on craigslist

A woman named marlohe muse aka joelle bem filed a complaint against me last year. Obviously you believed her story because I haven't been allowed to post my cats and kittens either in pets or farm and garden. She disagrees with me because I declaw my cats. She reported it to the authorities and they dismissed her as being overbearing. If you look her up she has been arrested and lost custody of her daughter. She has nothing better to do but hassle people. I am not the only person who has trouble with her. She's a nut case. Please check out my story and stop flagging my posts. I breed ragdoll kittens every now and then and I shouldn't be penalized for doing so. She raises persian cats. I would like you to reconsider your decision to block all of my asa. Thanks in advance, diane d'alconzo

Craigslist Flagging

I am attempting to re-home 6 great pyrenees puppies and my add keeps getting flagged. I have posted it in San Luis Obispo, CA and Bakersfield, CA.

I have posted it 4 different time with REHOMING in the title.

Most recent posting were #[protected] and #[protected].

How can I stop from being flagged? I simply want to find these puppies a good home and cover the cost of vaccinations and some food.

Desired outcome: I would like my add to stay posted.

Craigslist dell tower from seller is defective and will not accept refund or exchange

contacted a seller in Tustin who has various dell products on C/L for sale and asked to come and purchase or look at and he gave me address and arrived and asked to see if it worked and it was 9 pm and said it was good and bring back if not happy and the posting noted i could upgrade for more money but he was in a hurry to close the deal. He had a few monitors in the area and purchased one for 60 dollars along with the tower for 110 dollars and left. Next morning i tried to turn on and a lot of noise from tower but no picture so i went and purchased new power cords and plugged back in my previous monitor which works fine but smaller sized and nothing so had a friend come by who is knowledgeable on IT services and he said that it is not operating and take it back, Contacted seller via email with my concern and had no response and tried a couple more times and 4 days later he contacted me saying if i try and come to his home for return he will call police because he no have business only sell on craigslist and as is. i even offered to take 90 dollars back instead of 110 that i gave him cash for but no response and soon i will go to his home and there might be a problem if he freaks out.

Desired outcome: refund or exchange or even repair. i have purchased many items on craigslist and this is a first for me on having a defective item with no support to see a good outcome.
