I purchased a car from carhop on august 29, 2009.Drove the car from richfield dealers to crystal office. The car had a knocking in the rear. i told the salesman .And he said no problem they would fix it.He wrote on my contract what was wrong It was shock needed to be repaired. He told me to call warranty dept. I did they sent me to their mechanic. He tested the car and found more thing wrong with the car. He called in to warrant and told them, Warranty dept person was so rude, They told him to tell me to tie the shocks up and keep driving.i said no.I spent the whole day trying to get this resolved. They said they would fix everything but the shocks. An thats the part that needs fixing. I have a
18 month warranty on this car. I havent even got to drive and enjoy the car since I had it.I have 72 hrs to decided what I am going to do.
I am going to return this this lemon.Bumper is almost hangin off, cant open the trunk. This is poor customer service.

I just returned a car to Car Hop last night and got my SOD from UAC. I will NEVER buy a vehicle from them again. I was given the runaround on the phones, hung up on, denied warranty work, received a bad transmission as a replacement for my bad transmission, plus put almost $1000 into repairs in addition to my $500 down and on time payments. Horrible customer service. Good thing I was persistant!

I currently have a car from hem pay on time every week and have put less than 3, 000 miles on my car in the 5 months that I have had it I told them when I got the car i noticed an electrical issue and a few other things paid 1, 000 bucks for sales tax etc. now my car is sitting at home awaiting a tow truck to take it to their "shop" which is nothing more than a salvage yard called H and W. i have been lied to by uac, car hop and their warranty department. I am wondering if the salesman cody edwards lied to me about this so called sod letter that I can sign relieving me of an debt to uac for the vehicle. he told me I could do this if the sales tax and such had been paid and I have the car towed to the lot and sign the sod letter that uac nor car hop would seek further payment or legal action and would not report it as a voluntary reposession. keeping my fingers crossed

So, you're saying you had the car for either 18 months or you drove it over 18, 000 miles, right? I have a feeling you have left out a whole lot of details, here.

I have the same problems... I have purchased a van and the WARRANTY company needed to fix a bad engine. After having it in the shop for a month... they put in another used BAD engine. They were told this by the garage and told again by another garage who replaced oil seals AND transmission. Of course by now, my warranty has run out and they deny any wrong doing. I am now seeking legal action.
