CafePress I ordered a mug for my boyfriend on 24th July 2014

I ordered a mug for my boyfriend on 24th July 2014 and it came today 11 of August 2014. It was a bit delayed and arrived after the estimation but I do live in Australia so I kind of expected it. Although when it hadn't come yet I started reading reviews and getting really nervous. When the product came it was everything I wanted and more. I didn't realise it changed colour under heat so when it arrived darker than I ordered I was a bit confused. The paint is a little chipped on the rim of the mug but I didn't notice until I had a good look. I recommend this site to anyone! Although order in advanced because it may take a while :) xxx

CafePress I have nothing but good things to say about this company

I have nothing but good things to say about this company they're excellent. My order was processed and shipped the same day and was delivered before the time given. I ordered a Fk You, You Fking FK black T-Shirt and it was exactly as shown on the website but I do wish the black was darker and more rich looking because I like my black extremely black but that was minor.

They're perfect for personalized stuff and their selection is ridiculous. Its a lot to browse through, but its awesome because you have a lot of choices. Again excellent experience definitely plan on purchasing from them again and I would recommend them to everybody.

I'm 100% satisfied! Best costumer service!
I placed first order and I liked everything.
With my second small order my daughter changed her mind and didn't want a t-shirt anymore.
So I sent email to a costumer service if I can return it and get refund this e-mail I received:
" I am sorry to hear that. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your CafePress.com experience.
I have processed a refund for you in the amount of $... Please allow 5 - 7 business days for the refund to be reflected on your Paypal account. I know the item received is not up to your complete satisfaction but as our way of an apology please go ahead and keep it. There is no need for a return! "
I will use this company in future and recommend to my friends!

CafePress I ordered a Luke's Diner mug (Gilmore Girls), came

I ordered a Luke's Diner mug (Gilmore Girls), came quick, excellent price even w/ shipping, seamless experience. Then got an email offering a free mug but I pay shipping. So I ordered one that was supposed to be white with black handle says TEAM JESUS in pink. When it came the whole mug was black. I used contact us on their site and sent a pic of what it was supposed to look like according to their site and a pic of the actual mug. I asked what could be done. They emailed me explaining it is a heat sensitive mug and changes to white when any hot liquid is poured into it. I checked their website and I had completely overlooked that part. I tried it and it is very cool so decided to keep it, but they offered to exchange it even though it was free. I love these guys and will be buying more from them

CafePress DO NOT--REPEAT NOT--OPEN A SHOP WITH CAFEPRESS

In CafePress, you spend a lot of time figuring out what commission you want on products carrying your design. They have a base price, and to that you add your commission.

Just like another reviewer, as a shopkeeper I was not paid the commission which I had set out for my designs, but only about 1/8th of that. Even though I had reports and documentation for back-up, they didn't even address the issue when I complained, but went through company double-speak. The end result was that they kept 95% of their inflated prices for products with my designs on them! I call that stealing.

My friends and I went on the site and couldn't even find my shop through their search engine using the shop name OR keywords associated with the products. Their customer service for shopkeepers, again, never addressed these or other troubling issues.

They are VERY, VERY, VERY slow at shipping unless you pay inflated prices. Moreover, their overpriced products are shabby and embarrassing. A pair of earrings with a base price of $15--that's before adding commission for the artist--turned out to be made out of thin, cheap metal. Mugs had dirt in them and the color started to wear off after only a few uses. Their base rates are higher than anyone should pay for a complete product. Adding a modest commission by the artist makes the prices absurdly high... most people just won't pay that much. And guess what? You won't even get the commission you thought you were going to!

There's just no way to make money with these scammers. And of course, they charge you $25 when you close your shop. If you choose NOT to close your shop and just let it sit there, they charge you another fee for inactivity. You are doomed in any event. They're going to suck all your profit away from you, even though you are the artist and deserve a fair share.

Read the fine print in their contract. Again, their site is full of gobble-dee-[censored]; you need an attorney to explain what their system is, and it is all tilted wildly in their favor.

A good business is courteous to their affiliates and does everything to try to keep them happy, (for one thing, to avoid reviews like this one!), and that courtesy includes addressing problems, fixing them, and apologizing when they have made an error. Not CafePress. If they actually address your issue, they don't fix it, but instead justify with spin. The shopkeeper is always wrong in their eyes. I am a nice person, but I would end up shaking after trying to deal with them. They refuse to listen or respond to logic, but apparently have pat, pre-formatted replies that do not address the actual issues. Hope someone with enough money to do so takes them to court. This rip-off business needs to be shut down. Please do not share your precious artwork or original ideas with them.

Dear Cafepress,

This letter is a formal notice to discuss a data protection breach by you in the contract you and I signed when I joined Cafepress.

I want to claim my data protection breach.

I was the victim of a personal data breach in February 2019 and have received spam mail for some time, I find this hurtful and distressing.

Contact me as soon as you receive this notice so that we can discuss it. If I do not hear from you by 1st March 2023, I will pursue all legal remedies available. So kindly, look into this matter and resolve the issue immediately.

CafePress Mens Boxer Shorts Honey Bunny

When the boxer shorts arrived they were paper thin, poor quality. Not worth 29.00 dollars. Would be ashamed to give them as a gift. This company should be ashamed to send merchandise out. ill never order from this company. This is the first item I have had to return. They do not show reviews on there web site. I know why now after getting this item.

CafePress poor printing alignment

I ordered a photo T shirt and the photo was tilted sideways it is a Xmas gift and it's too late to reorder I'm very disappointed and wish I could get a refund I have not ordered in a long time from cafe press but obviously the product has suffered over the years I mean how hard is it to place a square on the front of a shirt the shirt itself is not the quality I expected and reminds me of a factory second

CafePress I lost $20 because of them!

I bought a dog T-shirt from CafePress as a present for my sister.
I paid for my order and they took my money right away. After that I received a confirmation message.
After three weeks of waiting I decided to contact CafePress but they did not reply. I felt that something was wrong.
I checked my order status and found out that it was cancelled. The worst part was that they never told me about that and that there was not way to get a refund. This site is not to be trusted, there is no service, and it's impossible to reach anyone!
I lost $20 because of them!

CafePress Bad quality printing

I have ordered two custom print shirts from these guys and quality of the print was terrible! It was hardly visible! Shirts were black and signs were supposed to be white, but in reality they were dark grey so it was really hard to see the picture. I'm so disappointed with CafePress! Thought this was a reputable company but their work is a complete disaster and I don't want to waste my money here ever again!

CafePress Poor printing

I purchased two t-shirts from CafePress. I ordered the same size shirts, but when I received them, one shirt was ok and the other one didn't fit. Also, the printing on both shirts was not centered! I contacted their customer service and they told me I have to pay 20% return shipping fee! After I told them that I was not going to pay and that I would report them to BBB and Federal Trade Commission, they sent me another message. It stated that information which was provided earlier was an "error" and they would refund me as soon as possible. I'm done with them.

CafePress Very poor

I made an order and paid extra for expedited shipping and was charged $13.00 for the package. Unfortunately they did not follow the instructions and my items arrived only two months later than I expected. I spoke to a customer service agent and was told they had a bug in their software which changes shipping instructions. Things like that sometimes happen, but it is too bad that they forgot to inform me about that! They offered to refund me the amount their system says they charged, but not the amount I was really charged. They have a known software issue which impacts customers! Also they offer a refund based on what is in their computer system, not on what was charged. All this mess happened because of a known software problem! CafePress, fix it already!

CafePress Bad production and seller refuses to help you

I ordered T-shirt and hat from www.cafepress.ca. It arrived quickly, but the paint on the prints was horrible, ‘coz after I washed it, the paint went down. This seller turned out to be real jerk, ‘coz he told me that he didn’t care about it. As he told me it wasn’t his problem. So be aware of it and better avoid this ###. Also post your comments and views about your experience with them.

CafePress Order Not In Time

I ordered a sweatshirt on 12/16/2012, to be delivered by Christmas Eve. I even called after I ordered and had the shipping time shortened to ensure delivery. I called 3 more times to make sure the item would be here by Christmas Eve. Each time I was assured it would be. By the way, the item is a military hoodie for a soldier in on leave (so it was IMPORTANT that it arrive in time!).

It is now December 27the, and still no delivery. I just learned it is on the UPS truck for delivery TODAY - a good 3 days late!

Guess cafepress can't be trusted to get the goods out in time for Christmas delivery. I just HOPE that when it comes it's in decent condition and my soldier is able to enjoy it before going back to his military unit!

CafePress For a company that once prided itself on quality – too bad

Re-checked this review before commenting on this web site for in the past had good service from this company. However, clearly I’ve noticed that the quality of many of their t-shirts(short and long) are simply not up to snuff. Other items, OK.

Yet, without a doubt they do offer an incredible selection for their clothing of: graphics; photos; questionable tms and iffy rms; wild comments to puns. However, their quality is fair, really only fair – especially true for most graphics and "all photos". My recently purchased shirts' photos and/or graphics are fading, not good.

For a company that once prided itself on quality – too bad. See 'ya!

CafePress Don't buy from them

I ordered a metric clock from them. A metric clock has 10 hours per day. What they sent me was a regular clock with a 10 hour display. The problem is that it should only be 10 o'clock once a day. The clock they sent goes around completely twice a day. All they did was put a 10 hour display on a regular clock mechanism. It is TOTALLY useless. Don't buy from them.

CafePress The worst way to spend (waste) $38

I just ordered and received a zip up sweat shirt from them, it was a link from my school (Academy of Art University) paid $38. I am sorry, but it was worth maybe $5. The logo print was smeared and VERY faded. I wore it a few times and washed it. Well, apparently DO NOT WASH should be included in the how to take care of the sweat shirt because now the logo is almost invisible. THE WORST way to spend (waste) $38. I feel like I was totally ripped off. I dont know if I should be upset at my school for recommending such a lousy company or the printing company that did a crappy job of printing. Just goes to show, maybe printed items are just bad, from here on I will order items with stitched logos, not cheapo iron on's.

I ordered a product from cafe press. It never arrived so I emailed them. They said they were sending a replacement - and it might take 45 days to arrive.
I waited and waited. Still NO product.
Then when I told them it never arrived - they said SORRY it's been more than 30 days since your order was placed - NO REFUND!
WHAT A SCAM! How could I have asked for a refund BEFORE the item was supposed to arrive. Their customer service is horrible! I am placing complaints about them on all sites - so buyer beware of cafepress! SCAM! Never order from them!

I have used Cafepress for 3 years now. Quality is usually perfect, but when it wasn't they replaced it without my having to return it. If I were you I would call them and direct them to this complaint. I am sure they will correct this if they can, else refund your money.
