WE purchased an Addie Water softener for a pretty penny. We have well water and we keep getting a high concentration of IRON in our system, which is affecting our hair, shower and toilets. So far this system is a failure and we've had it about 5 months. We have switched up the softener we use to a more Iron concentrated solutions and still nothing. All arrows now point to the new water softener. If you have a well dont buy this product.

I purchased an Addie Water System for a new house through Hauke Plumbing of
Plymouth Wisconsin. We have well water with higher amounts of iron, so our
water came out yellowish. Hauke installed our new Addie Water System and we
still got bad water. We called Hauke and they sent their 'expert' who had
trained on the system to look at it, and he said everything was hooked up fine.
Hauke said we could purchase a better water system if we wanted. Instead, we
went to a competitor who cleared our water issues right up. The competitor's
plumber said the Addie system was not doing ANYTHING to filter out the iron out
of our system. Hauke could not get any refund from Addie system for us.
I will never use any Addie Water Systems products again, nor will I ever use
Hauke Plumbing of Plymouth, Wisconsin again. Not only did we take a large
financial hit on this, I had the headaches of trying to resolve our water
problems on a new house construction.
