I have tried to contact this company informing them of numerous problems with there application. The only way to contact them is by email but unfortunately I can't do that because it says there is an open ticket... Yet on my side it shows closed. I want to get my money back for a service that is not usable. Please give me any assistance you can... An address... Phone number... Email address... Anything to help. Thanks!

I am also on the long list of paying lifetime customers who can no longer get into 360 Pro. I see all of these complaints, but I don't see any resolutions. I tried the 1-800 #, option1 and it says I have dialed an invalid extension. So, what now? Do these people read this, or are we just blowing off steam?

People! Come on! Stop the paranoia!

Just open your Control Panel; run add/remove programs and remove Java Environment 6 - 360 Share will now work - re-install if it doesn't

Me too, I paid for lifetime membership about a year ago, they took the money folime wire although i did not request this, have downloaded some music but can no longer access the site and pass word is not recognized, has anyone had any luck in contacting them?

Until today I would have agreed that 360 Share Pro is some kind of scam, but thanks to Dacaria's comment I now have the software working again as before and I'm really happy with it!

Having bought it in July 06 it stopped working in Dec 06 and I'd pretty much given up on it. I'm running XP and the program started as usual but it would never connect to anything.

I also thought that the Java environment explanation on many of these comments was just for if you couldn't start the program at all, rather than the not connecting problem.

Eventually I tried the instructions from Dacaria anyway and it all started working again - many thanks Dacaria! The instructions were:

360 share pro only works with Java J2SE Runtime environment 5.0 Update 10.

Erase 360 share pro. Remove all the Java updates EXCEPT 5.0 Update 10. Here it is if you don't have it:

Restart computer.

Search c: documents and settings and delete any .360 share pro files. Go to c: program files and delete any .360 share pro files found there. Check Java files to make sure only [jre1.5.0_10] is there.

Reinstall 360 share pro:

My Husband bought a three year membership for me and it seems, that like everyone else I can't get it to work anymore. It is a real pain in the butt when you pay for something that you can't use. You need to fix this problem or give people there money back.

I've had the program for 6 months and I've emailed them about the program suddenly not working. They told me to delete the program and re-install it. It hasn't worked and they blame my Norton Antivirus for it. It worked before when I had the Norton but its decided to stop. Bloody stupid and Im frustrated cause there not willing to fix the problem.

I bought a membership 1 week ago it worked for two days now I cant even pull up the site. The customer service does not exist. I got to make 4 cds for $19.98 360 no share sucks.

I have also purchased a lifetime memberships and they are also asking me to buy it again because I had to reinstall bearshare on my new computer. It also has a lot of problems with downloading from it if anyone knows how to get my money back i would love to know. Thanks

I purchased the lifetime membership from Mp3downloading in November of 04, it became 360share and I continued to have access until about a month ago when it doesn't recognize my old e-mail address or my username or password. I printed off the receipt when I purchased this and it says "you will never be charged again". I'm going to contact the state attorney general and fly a few letters to DC, maybe one of the investigative TV shows will pick it up as well. I'd rather have my money back than do business with these scammers.

I agree with you, I bought a lifetime membership and every since Ive been having problems with it too, I paid over $50.00, and cant get it to do anything, I think its a waste of money, they need to give us our money back or fix problems!

I would suggest you all do what they tell you at the beginning of this site. Remove all other versions of java, it is very user friendly as if i can do it anyone can. I did it and now 360share is up and working again. For how long, i do not know. Thanks for your help, Don.

I downloaded 360 pro 3 weeks ago and yes i can no longer download music which i payed $52.00 Australian dollars also my account name and pass word was invalid.

I too purchased the lifetime membership and my service still works, however I'm unable to reload it on my new laptop. Their company obviously takes the money and runs. I have a solution. I burned the setup exe file to a disc and reloaded in into my laptop. Works great now, send me a e-mail address and I will send a copy to all for free. It is by the way shareware. Lets keep the original concept going. If your not sure what I'm sending, scan it first for viruses.

I tried to download 360 pro after it went off. All I can get is what I already have downloaded. I can't get the site to download. Is anyone else having the same problem? Is there anything I can do.

I have had 360 share for about a year now, and mine too has magically stopped working. The only part of it that I can access is the downloaded songs. Every time I click on the icon to open it it just won't open. I thought I would try to redownload it, but like everyone else, it says my username is invalid or my account has expired, I like all of you payed for a lifetime subscription. This is seriously some b.s.

I have completely uninstalled 360 share pro and have installed a FREE file sharing programme. I too still have an open ticket so can not email them to ask for my money back-thinking about cutting my loses and forgetting about it. Just glad that I am not paying a monthly subscription fee!

I downloaded and paid for the lifetime membership yesterday. It worked then but now it won't open. What's up with that? I had it on my previous computer and it worked fine. It also charged me for the upgraded services even though I said "no thanks" to them. If it does not work soon, I'm calling my credit card company and having them reverse the charge.

I totally agree. The site worked for about 6 or 7 months and then the other day the site won't work and amazing my user name no longer works. They want me to purchase another subscription. Total BS. BearShare sucks too.

Please, DO-NOT download 360 of any kind they will rip you off and you will be left with nothing. Before I left for Iraq I downloaded 360 share and down loaded as much music as I could, when I returned home I was unable to log on to 360 like I never existed and I had a Life time membership. I believe we all need to get together a sue them for the money they stole from us. Contact me at billjackiepotter@yahoo.com I am willing to go to the attorney Generals office with our complaint. I was having problems opening 360 pro. The answer is to make sure you are only running one java version (runtime 5version 11) seems to work for me.

Delete all other versions, via the add remove program settings.

There seems to be an activation error when trying to call up 360 share I have deleted software and downloaded again but still get the activation error.

You can get my details on my email as to my joining date & payment.

I would appreciate some feedback on the matter.

For two months now the downloading page has not been working. I can search for music but it won't download. I've had this problem off and on before but it wouldn't work for a few days, then it will work for a while, and then not work for another few days. But this time it's been two months now and there is no way of getting a hold of them to try and get some of my money back. This service is very unusable.

If your 360 sharepro is not working do this. Uninstall all java updates. Go to c drive program files. Select 360 sharepro then double click java in that file. This reinstalls correct java version and fixes 360 share pro.

I contacted the website and chated with a tech support here is what i received... it works now!

Auto java updates got me

Dear Customer,

Please make sure to remove any older version of Java onto your computer by going to:

START Menu

Go to RUN>

...and type

appwiz.cpl

Look for anything called...

Java or J2SE...

Remove all versions except if you have J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10 (delete the rest)

If you do not have it please click on the following link for the latest version of Java:

http://www.musicformembers.com/downloads/jre-1_5_0_10-windows-i586-p-s.exe

Please SAVE this installer and click on RUN or OPEN, to install it.

After installation, reboot your computer for better performance.

It's me again. Yesterday I sent an e-mail telling you that my 360 Share Pro didn't work, but after reading all the messages above, I remembered that I have installed Java's updates (Java J2SE Runtime environment 5.0 Update 11 and Java J2SE Runtime environment 6.0). So, I decided to uninstall them and Share Pro is now working again.

I also agreed to a two year membership, I've only been a member for one month, after installing itunes, 360 share no longer worked. Thinking it was my fault i tried and tried numerous times and to log on, also tried reinstalling the program and still nothing occurred, this is obviously a scam.

I signed up for a lifetime membership for 360 pro share, i had no problem using it to start with, I've had it roughly for 5mths, i went to use it yesterday and it's as if it's completely disappeared out of my computer, when i click on my short cut nothing happens. This is disgraceful as people have paid money for life time use and do not receive it.

Been using 360Share for over 2 years when it was ETomi. Stopped working 2 days ago after downloading a Java update. Called support [protected] three times. First time told to go back to previous Java version. This seemed to work as the program now launches, however won't download. Next call told me how to enable 360Share to work with Java and Firewall. This had no effect. Today I removed all software and started over from scratch. Still won't download. Third call suggested I reconfigure my system & router to use a static IP address which is not only complicated , technically a step backwards but can cause other complications. Besides, this didn't make sense as 360Share & my router both support the recommended UPnP feature which has been working fine for the past few years.

A great product, good support response however poor support ability.

I had limewire when I started then they changed it to this 360 and I have had problems since, I once had the 800 number to call and get it str8ened out but every time I move for my husbands job I have problems again, now I have wireless internet and I am having problems again. I have had it 360 for a year and a half and it worked great when it was Limewire but now I just don't bother with it anymore.

I paid $55.00 over a month ago, i still cant download anything. I have searched and searched the net for a customer service number... nothing. If you have or have had similar problems and have a good contact number for this so called company... please contact me by e-mail.
