Community Property Management I had a really bad experience with Community Property Management

I had a really bad experience with Community Property Management. They tried to take everything I had, and when I went to small claims court, they threatened me. Now, they've gone and kept all of my security deposit and are asking for more money. They say they'll send it to collections and ruin my credit.

Community Property Management We had a tree fall on our house last week

We had a tree fall on our house last week. We asked them to trim this tree 2 years ago. It was sick. We have emails trying to get them to trim it. They gave us 3 different dates that they would come and take care of it. They won't talk to us.

Community Property Management CPM contact refuses to complete multiple work orders

CPM contact refuses to complete multiple work orders. They keep lying and neglecting safety issues. I have proof in the work order PDFs and some pictures showing a bit of the neglect. The stairs are a major concern, even the city's building inspector, ***, confirmed they are unsafe. But CPM won't bother to come and inspect them. They just ignore me. Can someone please help?

Community Property Management All the people in my section were told to pay a special assessment of $33,507.48 for a repair bill from four different contractors

All the people in my section were told to pay a special assessment of $33,507.48 for a repair bill from four different contractors. I have a complaint because CPM didn't give me a detailed invoice when I asked for one. I wanted to see how they got these services. It seems like CPM is hiding their mistakes by calling it a "Maintenance" issue. The rules clearly say that the tenants are responsible for the inside of their unit and for getting insurance. If I could see the receipts from ***, which add up to $19,346.30, it would show that the people in section 3 are paying for two bathroom remodels that should have been covered by the tenants' insurance instead of a special assessment. I wanted to see the three bids that our rules say we need before the contractors start working. Maybe they changed this rule later, but not before the repairs were done. I wanted to make sure that the tenants affected actually filed insurance claims for the damage to the inside of their units. I think no claims were filed and the contractors didn't bid on the work, like the rules say. CPM has been criticized a lot for not being transparent. All they gave us was a total cost and vague descriptions from different contractors. It seems like they just threw our money at the problem without doing their job properly. If we could see the detailed invoices, I think CPM would be to blame for not following our community rules and the standards we expect from a company that manages these situations. The fact that they didn't get three bids for the drain damage and the remodel of two units cost almost $100 for each of the 356 families. We're all struggling financially right now, so this is a big deal. Thanks for listening to my complaint.
