As a student of statistics during my former university years, I find it extremely misleading of CNN not to disclose the number of people who are questioned on any given poll. To the uninitiated and the average American watching your news programs, it would seem that a huge majority of republicans or democrats or whoever the case may be, have participated in those polls. We who are more aware, know that perhaps 500 people or maybe even 5000 people may have participated and an explanation should be provided by CNN. The point is that your viewers should be allowed to have that information in order to make more informed decisions. I notice that almost always MSNBC does disclose the number of participants when they report the poll numbers. I believe CNN should be more honest with their viewers.
Cnn, wolf blitzer, and 15 december and previous 2015 republican debates
Most all the questions from the CNN panel, and from "journalists" at previous Republican debates as well, seemed to be designed to have one or more candidates pick a fight with or pile on other candidates. If during their answers to substantive questions such as those listed below, the debate participants want to pick a fight with one another, let them initiate it. Is that really your job as journalists to incite such behaviour? To their discredit, most of the candidates took the bait. There were hardly any questions like these, for example: What is your plan to deal with (name of issue)? How important is that (issue) to you, to the country? What resources should be brought to bear to fix or lessen this problem? How would you propose to pay for this? What experience do you have, or how do you propose, to bring together highly partisan and fractious parties to solve problems? Give us a list of the top 5 or 10 problems facing America. You did not list "XYZ" problem in your list. How big of a problem do you think that issue is? Where would you place it on a list of challenges America faces? Another exercise for the candidates could have been: "Here is a list of problems that are listed by various groups and prominent persons that face this country. During the upcoming commercial break, you will have 2-3 minutes to organize them in their order of importance to you. Then we will ask each of you how you would deal with your top 3 or 5 or whatever. I am confident that, if they try, journalists including you can come up with even more informative and elucidating questions than these to help the American people learn what they need to know about the candidates. Does the CNN have a problem reporting Global Warming as a critical issue? The three top Democratic candidates for President all included CLIMATE CONTROL as a major issue. They did not skirt the issue or insulate this issue in scientific jargon; Bernie Sanders, Hilary Clinton and Martin O'Malley consider it important for the American public to recognize this issue. That was clear during CNN's Democratic Debate (13Oct2015). Subsequently today, why does the CNN fail to report Democratic acknowledgement of this issue, in contrast to Republican candidates, of CLIMATE Change and Global Warming in CNN's sound bites today? Wow the CNN Jewish Propaganda Machine is in full force tonight in their show "CNN Presents: Mystery of Jesus The Man" where no joke they mention that Jesus was born and raised for 12 years as a Jew at least 1000 times. I have written to you guys before about this problem with no response back. There is a dramatic difference in the volume between your regular programing and certain comercials. You can hear the reciever click over and the volume gets twice as loud. It is very annoying. I can't watch your programing in the late evening because of the dramatic difference of volume. Please help!

I watch CNN news which Anderson Cooper broadcast and all the commercials are about double. It scares the living crap out of a person.
Fath is an idividul thing. We are all given different measures of faith. Apparenly cnn has faith that they dont need christian sponsership, viewers or employees. Could someone pull the Wolf Air-conditioning add on CNN. It lacks good taste and I am surprised that it is aired on station that intelligent people watch and trust. The add I am refering to blatanly begins by saying, "My wife is HOT! " and a woman is laying on a sofa, the add has sexual connotations and runs, it seems, every half hour. The add portrays women as sexual objects and the content alludes to a writer without education and lacking a respect for women. PLEASE send this comment to someone who has the authority to listen to this add and then but an end to this.
Satellite is just as bad. However, it's not the local station or anything we can currently control. Between the broadcaster, the provider and our TV's, there are a jumble of things to go through. IF a broadcast turns up one aspect, the others all still go up. Most commercials are NOT handled by the broadcasters. And no, satellite does NOT eliminate local commercials. Local ads are a requirement on most channels at least once a day. It's because the local ad and the broadcaster are not the same person... it's "written over" an ad spot, when you hear load... others with other of their local commercials hear it nice, or even too quiet. FX is FAMOUS for awful commercial volume versus their DVD on TV series. The only fix is to get a regulating TV - works sort of the same way a car stereo does that has the speed feature. You speed up, it stays the same volume in the car. Newer TV's are coming with this built in. Find one, if you have one, turn it on.
Local commercials inserted by your local cable service are the loudest. You can loose these commercials by going to a sattelite dish. I did and do not get the SUPER BLAST commercials any more.

Morning programming
CNN early morning programming is now the worst in the the business. I'm speaking on Zoraida Sambolin's & Ashleigh Banfield's show. My complaint is really against Zoraida Sambolin more so than Ms. Banfield. Ms. Sambolin is way over her head! Her present & words are a new low. She is far from neutral in her comments; has little creditability in her opinions and needs to show some professionalism.
CNN had a reasonable early morning show in the recent past but for unknown reasons, they have replaced good hosts with poorer ones. (Sorry Ms. Banfield, but 'low tides sink all ships' and i fell badly that I'm painting you with the same brush).
CNN, please do better in the future.
Erwin Burnett needs to be replaced. She is the most biased of all the CNN reporters when it comes to President Trump. I can not stand her attitude and she need to go the sooner the better.
Anthony, when I look at this site that generates weekly thousands of complaints that are not going nowhere, I think: what a world we live in! The world that is ruled by scammers and frauds. In the wake of the phone hacking scandal by News International, is it appropriate that Piers Morgan maintains such high profile with CNN, when it is increasingly evident that he not only was involved in phone hacking himself, but was willing to tell a barefaced lie in court about it?
CNN will seriously need to check what is going on with their brand, which has already given over much important news time to such tittle-tattle as Piers is famous for, if they continue to use such a dishonest individual to deliver their services.

Totally 101% agree with previous 2 posts - NEVER send any monies for any so called "Lottery/Prize Draw/Lucky Dip etc so called "Wins" - With the possible rare exception of a competition which you know you have entered, can phone a UK number and verify who they are - (Really do check into the company concerned) and if it's a relatively small amount for say the delivery of a car that you've won!

You claim to have just got done suing someone but have a hard time believing that all the people in that video (they interview 4 or 5, but they said about a dozen) right?
All cases are not the same for my opening point. And your specific case certainly has no relation to Mr. Gibson case in question. You sued "someone", you stated. However, in Mr. Gibson civil case involves more than “someone” but multiple individuals, businesses, investors and was started in public damaging his business, business relationships, and most of all his reputation. The information related to the case was on television, broadcasted on line, and will be resolved on line, on television, and in a court of law.
In turn, the growth of electronic media has made the reporters as much of the story as the public, lawyers (and their clients). The internet has changed how cases are fought all over the world today. What I am saying is this campaign is all part of the case. Even this conversation we are having now. Evidence and traditional legal procedures are evolving due to technology and failure to adapt by lawyers or clients will result in misinformation. The OJ Simpson trial, for example...

The truth was not ment to entertain. If the truth makes you yawn find entertainment on your own complaints board, "adult".
If you took the time to read the documented facts and spent less time looking at a one side perspective you would have noticed all your questions had been addressed. So for your lack of reading I will address it below.
To explain the facts wrong with the piece:
1.) Not dozens but five questionable former sales representatives went on camera and Louis Gibson and company did not pay them commission earned. Linda Stouffer, WSBtv News Reporter, did not investigate the allegation made and broadcasted the story. Had she investigated the allegation she would have discovered all commissions are paid on a sixty day pay cycle. No employee/sales representative had been working pass three weeks selling Clearwire mobile internet service out bound to Georgia residents. All sales representatives had been trained at Clearwire Corporate Office in Atlanta, Georgia and had a clear understanding of this policy. The company, Red Shield Entertainment LLC, had no control of this policy because it was a re-seller of Clearwire. No commissions had been paid out to compensate for commissions earned.
2.) Who called CEO Louis Gibson a "bold face liar"?
Mathew McCloy, a former sales manager, spearheaded this campaign to destroy Red Shield Entertainment LLC and create his own business called Mad Phoenix Technologies, stealing sales representatives, business plans, and trade secretes created by CEO Louis Gibson.
3.) Why don't you sue him?
He is involved in a civil case currently and the list includes other individual and companies not to be mentioned at this time.
4.) Were they your employees?
All that worked were sales representative or independent contractors that worked on commission earned only! Clearly stated in a signed contract that outlined all responsibility and pay cycle.
5.) They all seem very sincere. How could they all have had the wrong impression they would be receiving a paycheck from you?
"Sincere", is a loose word to describe individuals you do not know Zachary S. Two of them were roommates of Mathew McCloy and two did not have any affiliation with the company. Mathew McCloy had several secrete meetings with sales representatives and made promises of early payment of commissions earned if this plan to pressure Red Shield Entertainment and Clearwire with law suite and media coverage.
In conclusion, over one year later the facts have come out and Mad Phoenix Technologies in its first month experienced the same set backs Red Shield Entertainment faced due to the sixty day pay cycle of commission. These are all your questions answered with straight facts and were previously explained in details prior. Anderson cooper haiti piece from 1/13
As a member of the news media, I understand the need for TV crews, photojournalists and reporters to flock to an area like Haiti, recently devastated by the earthquake. They capture all ranges of human emotion and can help tell the stories of millions of people in need.
Having said that, I was disturbed last night watching a piece that Anderson Cooper was reporting on from Haiti. The scene was very powerful. The video was amazing. Capturing a young girl being stuck under the rubble, screaming for help, and then finally being freed. It was very compelling video.
But why did Anderson Cooper need to show himself sitting on top of the rubble, trying to jam a microphone under the rubble to hear this girls screams. Why did HE need to appear in it at all? It was SO much stronger with the narration. He actually ruined the piece for me. - and even worse, had me question his motives for being there. Why is he there? To help further his career? To win awards? To show to himself that he can cover such events? There is no reason he should have been in that piece and the countless angles he appeared in the frames.
The media often gets labeled as being vultures. Most of the time, I feel it is an unjust claim. However, this is a situation that is bigger than Anderson Cooper. And frankly, he should let the stories tell themselves and be hiding BEHIND the camera. Not shamelessly sticking his mug into as many shots as possible.

What has happened to In session? Where is Jack Ford, Ashley Banfield and Jamie Lee? I really feel bad for Jean Kasaras and Beth having to commentate back and forth on air with anchor's who barely look over the age of 21, no offense to the anchors, but how much experience could they possibly have? Thank goodness for Vinny Politan, at least he has been around the block once or twice. CNN should be ashamed of what they have done to Court TV, I just hope that some other news media company will have the forsight to give CNN some competition and bring back a real court tv show with the likes of Jack Ford, Ashley Banfield and Jamie Lee and if they were real smart, it would be Jack, Ashley and Jamie, sorry Ryan Smith, but youth in my opinion for In session is not the best medicine. The only thing CNN has going for itself with this new In session format is that someone was smart enough to put Vinny Politan on air. Jack, Ashley, Jamie, wherever you are now, you are sorely missed and if I ever discover that any of you are on air on another network----I'm there, would leave CNN In session in a heartbeat, it is just not the same nor is the quality present any longer. I had been watching the miner's rescue from the beginning.
After the 28th miner, the program switched to the election debates.
Considering the circumstances, the debate could of been prosponed for another day. I ended up watching the end of the rescue on CTV. Having known this, I would of watched the entire rescue on CTV.
I found this very selfish of your part.
I have installed a Paradox alarm system through CCN Alarms by Christo Dippenaar in February 2012. I have paid him in full for the installation but soon afterwards we found that the battery back up didn't work during a power failure. He replaced the battery, updated the software to recharge the battery and it still don't work. I've tried many times to contact him on his cellphone but he is avoiding me and my sms's. Recently he contacted me and according to suppliers the problem lies in the alarm memory board which must be replaced. According to Christo the alarm system have a guarantee of one year and that will expire in less than a month. I'm still waiting for him to come back to me and to sort my alarm system out. I am desperately searching out ways in which to file formal complaints against this awful Nancy Grace. I cannot stand to listen to her one-sided, ignorant coverage of any topic underneath the sun. I have never been more stunned at a reporters lack of life experience, control of the tongue and thoughtlessness. Its like she is a naive 20 year old in a 50 year old body. Her coverage of the Michael Jackson Tragedy has put the icing on the cake and if it were not for Larry King I would never patronize CNN again. He is far superior in his ability to actually control interviews and get the news reported and facts shared. I get absolutely nothing from Nancy Grace but argumentative interruptions smothering the stories that we all care about! Please do something about this poor hostess. Many, many individuals feel this same outrage and will begin to take public action if something isn't done about this Dis_Grace.

I am sick of Nanc Grace and her uncaring way to report news. Her broadcasts of Michael Jackson's death are unacceptable and need to be stopped. CNN needs to open their eyes and do something before they loose all their viewers. I have stood by and let things she says go to the wayside, but the way she has reported the death of our King of Pop, will not be put on the wayside. He was acquitted of charges, he was not guilty and she can not keep reporting that she thinks he was or allowing others to voice that he was guilty. I watched a good report from Hannity the other night and as soon as someone said something about his molestation charges Hannity shut them down saying he was acquitted. I used to love watching Nancy Grace (and Dr. Drew), but for me, they're both the bottom of the barrel in "reporting" anything. Nancy, as most have already said, interrupts every expert on her show, ridicules them, or will even cut their mike if they disagree with her. Did you ever notice only callers get in that praise her, her "efforts" and her twins. I was ok with the twins discussions when they were infants. They are 4 YEARS OLD and it's enough already. Her show is just that: HER SHOW. Her DWTS nip slip was an embarrassment, and she is as well. How unprofessional to tell the audience some offender is "on his way to HELL!" What? Is now Jesus? Nancy Grace is a former prosecutor that is still trigger happy when it comes to finding fault with anyone she suspects of being guilty for anything. I believe she should be taken off the air. I sent a letter of complaint to HLN about Nancy Grace being out of line making comments about the jurors. She has a right to disagree with the verdict she does not have a right to defame the character or backgrounds of the jurors, they were doing their job agree or disagree with their conclusion. I would hope that several people would do the same. She has went way to far too many times, she needs to be pulled from the show IMHO.
I always thought that since the 24hr cable news channels took over the role of reporters - that CNN headed one of the fairest- most neutral - group of international news people. Then I saw that HLN was a "Sister" channel of CNN and thought it must be similar. I then saw Nancy Grace. Isnt the role of a journalist to fairly give accurate detail regarding any story they have been assigned? on both sides of a given coin. HLN is not journalizm. It's CNNs version of Fox News. It's a bunch of talking heads giving their opinion and wanting praise for being on television. What difference is there between Glen Beck and Nancy Grace? Both have opinions and followers. I believe the real complaint should be the use of the term "News" after Headline. HLN is not news based - it's opinion based. The "National Enquirer" of TV. An unfortunate aspect is that CNN regularly promotes the Nancy Grace show and others on their "sister" networks. It causes me to wonder if CNN isnt the news leader that it once claimed. I agree with those who say that "some people like Nancy Grace" and to "change the channel" if you're not interested in watching her. My challenge would simply be this: "Why have a show that discredits the network?"
No, I don't think I would discontinue checking CNN.com - I definitely wouldn't switch to FOX - but every time I see something she's involved in I switch off. I've seen too many examples of her barking (purposefully used term) her opinions on air and treating her guests more like prisoners than intelligent people providing valued input. She doesn't even let her guests answer the questions she's asked them.
In one particular video ("Mom's kidnap story suspicious") she was actually defensive when Ray Giudice spoke to the points Nancy was trying to make. She rudely interrupted him with, "Okay, pause. Pause. Put Giudice up on the screen. Put him up!" She was acting so much like a child that I was actually embarrassed for her.

There is no educating taking place because the facts of the stories aren't always given in full. There are the facts from her point of view and when the guests try to provide possible alternative viewpoints, Nancy Grace belittles them and shuts them down until her point is heard first and foremost.
Bottom line: Anderson Cooper and Larry King are a serious cut above any other journalist on any other network. Nancy Grace and the clown show that she is on her show are perfect for FOX or tmz.com.

The email offers unsubscribe which forces you to try to login first though. Since I have never registered with CNN.com it's a problem loging in. I try "forgot password" but once again since I've never registered with them the website says that there is no account with that email address - mind you though that the alerts are being sent to that email address which the website says it doesn't recognise.
