CNN is conducting political CNN surveys. What are the criteria of the survey and sample of participants. These political surveys are then reported on by anchors and panel to dicuss data that may not be valid and make recommendations for politics. In fact CNN is "creating the news" not reporting on news while steering

CNN pol 1200 Americans I think the poll isn't correct. Democrats don't blame President Biden for Hunter Biden issues. President Biden didn't interfere with the case. You are polling the same people that hate President Biden. Your anchor laugh at President Biden age. I don't believe the polls. I have never been but 2 times.

CNN the morning show with Poppy Harlow

I've watching your news cast for years now.

I can't get over on how Poppy can look so unimpressed with her job.

She sits there like she's at home watching tv.

Take the arms off her chair and see if she falls over when she goes to lean on them.

How hard is it to sit up and look professional? Her co hosts are now doing the same. Man, sit up straight and look like you're interested in what you're doing.

New name for the show.

Leaning tower of Poppy.

The Poppy and Pencil Neck Show when Phil is there. When the two hosts lean the same, you could use them for book ends.

Watch some other news channels you don't see them doing these things.

Harry Enten, if you need a clown on CNN maybe hire one, this guy is just an idiot. I can take a picture for my next entry.

Desired outcome: Need professionals who demand attention not just sitting there like a lump collecting their pay check.

CNN your political department

I have no Idea how you get away with lying about Joe Biden and his son Hunter while trying to destroy the greatest president this country has ever known in Donald Trump. One day you will have to come clean when Joe can't go any more and your lie will come to an end. Hopefully he will give his 50 million back from all those countries that aren't Americas friends but I wouldn't bet on it. Time for you people to stop lying about this fraud that should never be our president in the first place.

CNN Commercials Shown on CNN

My household has been a loyal CNN watcher for many years. Even sticking it out through all the turmoil and changes in the last several years. I find it appalling and disgusting that you are now showing commercials bashing our PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. I expect more out of CNN. If I wanted to watch commercials like this I would watch FOX. There are several other commercials that shouldn’t be shown on CNN either. WHOEVER IS CHOOSING YOUR MARKETING ADS SHOULD BE FIRED. You can only be a loyal watcher for so long. Get your act together or you’ll continue losing your base and loyal watchers like myself!

CNN CNN news programming

I am very disappointed that CNN is following the same script for Trump as 2016.

You are giving him enormous free airtime and allowing his cult to spread lies that your reporters and hosts do not correct forcefully and in real time. Every single lie needs to be called BS looking strait into the camera. Stop playing “both sides are the same” …….they are clearly not and you need to start informing viewers with accurate, real-time correction when interviewees are lying.

You need to start providing equal time to Biden / democratic policies or you will be playing right into the GOP cult playbook.

CNN Advertisements broadcasted in South Africa

It is very irritating to be bombarded with long low quality/professional TV adverts that advertise Nigerian Universities and businesses when universities in South Africa are free and ranks much higher than Nigerian universities. Students here would not consider these universities. Also advertisements on Nigerian banking services when we have a wide range of credible, highly accessible and far more trustworthy banks than Nigeria. Nigerian business ads are of no interest to South Africans as they have nothing to offer us. I have worked in Nigeria on a number of occasions and their service offerings and customer service and standards are way behind South Africa and we know it. Please stop bombarding us with these rubbish ads like Nile and other universities, Afreximbank and others and irritating loud typically Nigerian society ads that do not translate to any of our culture groups here. It makes me change channels immediately .

CNN Audio and video are out of sync.

First, a positive comment:

I have no problem with the reporting and news analysis I get from CNN. Many of the anchors present a balanced reading of the news, even when a panel of commentators and analysts participate. Jake Tapper's interview with Chris Christie was, in my opinion, especially well done.

While there was strong disagreement on several issues, both the reporter and the candidate were respectful of each other---and of their audience. The entire interview reminded me of long-gone times when political duels were not fought with riots and violence, but with well-crafted speeches that championed ideas and ideals, without resorting to ridicule and humiliation of those who held different positions. Let those who truly yearn to "Make America Great Again" begin the process with their own careful choice of words presented with dignity and respect for themselves and others.

Now, to my complaint which involves a technical issue that has continued for more than one week now. The audio and video portions of pre-recorded material is not in synch.

I don't know if the problem originates at the studio level or with my cable provider. But I do know that it is very disconcerting, and horribly distracting, to try to concentrate on the matter under discussion when what is being said doesn't go with what is being seen (no reference to current political realities intended). This problem has been apparent for several days now. Surely someone at the studio, or at the local level, has monitored the broadcasts and can address--and correct--the issue.

Desired outcome: Please let us viewers know if this complaint is misdirected. If CNN is not responsible, I will look elsewhere for resolution, beginning with restating my complaint to my cable provider. Thank you.

CNN CNN streaming

I tried to Activate my CNN Streamig service. But CNN.com/Activate requires our TV Provider.

Problem is, I DO NOT have a TV provider. Streaming is my only TV.

I quit Dish Network more than a year ago. I bought a Roku device, and that is all I have.

How do I get around this to complete activation?

I really do want to watch CNN, but cannot at this time (7/14/2023)

I have tried serveral times, but always get th esame resutls, that TV Provider is required.

Desired outcome: Instructions on bypassing TV provider to complete activation of streaming CNN.

CNN Primetime

Does no one at CNN see the absurdity of having seasoned veterans like Blitzer and Tapper

ask Caitlin Collins for her opinion, as though she were a sage with great wisdom and insight?

Ms. Collins is a very fine reporter and no more than that,as she is demonstrating nightly on Primetime, where as host, she is lifeless, colorless and boring.

Why not Paula Reed, who was very fine this weekend? Or John Berman, the most intelligent and well informed person on the network. He actually has a personality. I hope CNN rethinks all of this.

This current line up is ridiculous! Just go back to one host per show and let them sit down! All the movement between the walking back and forth and panning around to different screens is distracting. And blocking half the screen with the crawl and a stupid count down to a show nobody cares about 12 hours from now is just annoying!

CNN Lufthansa Airlines

DATE OF INCIDENT: MONDAY, 26 JUNE, 2023

Passenger due to fly on a Lufthansa flight the night of the 26th from Washington Dulles airport to Athens Greece via Munich. Passenger scheduled to fly had a falling accident the morning of the scheduled flight and ended up in the Emergency Room. Had to stay in the ER for about 7 hours. In order to ensure the airline knew about the situation, passenger calls the airline prior to the flight and is told to reschedule. Passenger tries to reschedule for Tuesday 27 June and goes through this while in the ER. Lufthansa representative promises to supply passenger and passenger's companion with the exact same flight costs and accommodations as Monday night's flight, meaning a Lufthansa flight from the US to Munich, from Munich to Athens Greece and a return flight to the US. A transport of two kittens from the US to Greece, with all the paperwork for their transport supplied to the airline already by passenger. No return flight for the kittens, they stay in Greece as a gift to the passenger's family. Passenger is disabled with a peripheral neuropathy, CIDP, resembling MS, and has motor issues. Passenger has a flexible ticket in case something occurs medically and has also upgraded his/her ticket to business class in order to have a more comfortable flight, considering his/her ailment. Lufthansa representative proceeds to "issue" a new "identical" ticket for the passenger and their companion as passenger was told. Passenger receives email from Lufthansa from representative that shows a flight from US with United Airlines, a return ticket for the pets from Greece to the US (! the opposite) and not a mention of the upgrade to business class. United Airlines has different rules for pet transport. Passenger was told that the business class upgrade would be handled by Lufthansa and will show in the new ticket for Tuesday. It did not.

Following all this, passenger is told in the ER by doctor on call that they need to recuperate for several days prior to flying because their injury to their ribs was painful and compromising, taking into consideration their ongoing neurological disability. Passenger was given morphine while at ER to deal with the pain and painkillers to take at home for the next several days.

Passenger was in touch with Lufthansa again on Tuesday in order to provide them with the latest information regarding their medical condition. Following several call attempts and several hang up issues on Lufthansa's end passenger was linked with a representative that at least appeared very understanding, apologized for the fiasco the Tuesday flight changes were showing and the fact that the passenger was mistreated by Lufthansa representatives, taken into account that they were also a disabled passenger with yet another medical issue to work out. Passenger was asked to provide the ER documentation to a Lufthansa email address that dealt with medical operations. Representative told passenger that they would cancel their "chaotic", mismanaged Tuesday flight, to not be worried and to proceed with an email to the medical branch of Lufthansa with their ER information for a swift response and settlement of their situation. (1-2 days) Passenger proceeds to compete Lufthansa's request.

Lufthansa has not responded to the passenger in any way regarding any possible solutions. As far as the airline's policy is concerned the passenger having purchased flexible tickets, they should be given an immediate refund. The call to provide the ER information as well was so that passenger would be provided a full refund including the business upgrade since a medical emergency is by no means a fault of their own.

It has been days since the medical forms were submitted. Passenger has tried to call Lufthansa's service center. Representatives are leaving passenger on hold and reverting not to the original purchased ticket, but to the botched Tuesday ticket, claiming that passenger has no return flight on that ticket, that there are no medical documents on file and eventually hanging up the phone on the passenger.

-Unacceptable customer service, including hanging up the phone and terminating a conversation, repeatedly both from Lufthansa's London line and US customer service line. Creates anxiety for the passenger which is making their ongoing medical condition all the more compromising to them.

-Cruel mishandling of a disabled passenger and their needs.

-Disregard for medical conditions requiring special treatment, including cancellations and refund of reservations.

-Complete and utter mismanagement of existing reservations, not enough knowledge of rules and regulations or simple disregard for passenger satisfaction.

Passenger is now reluctant to approach airline in any way. Passenger cannot rebook their flights, they are owed a sum for two passengers, a round trip and an upgrade. Not even a proper email stating passenger's current status has been supplied by Lufthansa.

Passenger left in complete confusion and anxiety as to their funds and possibilities to rebook their flight to finally reach their destination.

A phantom airline with unacceptable treatment.

CNN Jim Sciutto presentation style on yesterday and right now at 10:45AM PST 6/23/23

In my opinion Jim Sciutto tries to pull way too much drama and emotion out of each reporting he leads. The news should be about news and not try to be turn into emotions of a soap opera. Jim uses all types of accentuators to dig up more human emotion than necessary which is very annoying and not necessary. Anderson Cooper & Jim Acosta and the many CNN others are the style that everyone should strive for.

CNN content

I am writing to complain about the coverage that CNN has started giving Donald Trump. I thought that when you reviewed your coverage in 2015, 2016 of Donald you would have seen that your network gave him MUCH more coverage than any other except for FOX. It certainly gave him LOADS of free air time and may have made it possible for him to become president. As a long time viewer of CNN I am terribly disappointed in the network. The recent town hall was honestly so horrible I can't put it into words. To let him have any opportunity to pick and choose who will be there and direct the show was a travesty . I know a lot of your coverage and stories are to build viewership, but I for one and most of my friends and family will stop watching if you continue to "help" Donald again. Please forward this message to whomever would have any sway in this matter.

By giving Trump, a criminal and pathological liar, a bogus Town Hall, CNN abandoned its responsibilities to the citizens of the United States. Is CNN the only national news company that does not understand that Trump has worked to destroy American Democracy since the January 6 insurrection? You gave him a platform to continue his evil work. You gave him a platform to spread his lies and his hate. What the hell were you thinking would happen? No, you could not have been thinking, nobody in any decision making position at CNN could have been using even one brain cell when this Town Hall was approved. Shame on you. I don't trust any of you now.

CNN Former president Trump town hall broadcast

CNN: We will no longer be watching CNN news, news reports or watching the anchors from home or anywhere! We feel your choice of broadcasting the tirade and falsehoods from your recent "GUEST" was a grave mistake, despite your higher ratings. We could not bear to hear how "the other side" as Anderson Cooper (that was pure elementary!) tried to convince his listeners - we have heard enough of this man's lawlessness throughout the years - from his first "P-Grabbing' comment, shooting on Fifth Avenue, Jan. 6 insurrection, E. Jean Carrol's winning testimony, without giving him another shot at a television appearance. I hope more and more of us tune you out and turn you off! And not buy any products your cable news supports. We did. Of course, we will miss your anchors, but will enjoy MSNBC more from now on, until we hear a retraction from your management that the show was a mistake, should not be taken as fact, and that Trump will no longer be invited on the station. Well see...

CNN CNN Town Hall and Licht’s treatment of Oliver Darcy

The Complaint:

You have a fudiciary responsibility to safeguard the integrity of the formerly trusted news channel CNN.

1. You let a known liar take over a town hall for 70. minutes, packed with avid supporters of him, and allowed him to spin lies, and horrifyingly allowed him to call a woman who he had just been found guilty of sexually abusing and defaming THE DAY BEFORE - a whack job —and allowed him and his avid supporters to laugh, mock, and mack fun of her. You allowed the liar to degrade your own employee.

2. Today it is reported that Chris LIcht and others spoke in a “dressing down” way to one of the few trustworthy people left at your disgraceful network, Oliver Darcy.

Solution.

1. Apologize on air and in person to E Jean Carroll.

2. Apologize on air and in person to Kaitlyn Collins.

3. Apologize on air and in person to Oliver Darcy.

Recommendations

1. Fire Chris LIcht. He does not know what he is doing, is treating people terribly and did something way worse than Don Lemon did — Chris LIcht allowed a known liar to mock and get a town hall of people, on a world-wide live television program, the woman the liar has been found guilty of sexually abusing and defaming.

2. Hire Don Lemon back. He is needed. Licht is so incompetent he put three totally capably anchors together and made a bad fit. Licht is the problem not Don Lemon.

3. Done with CNN until you make some way-needed apologies.

Watching the Watergate videos. What does Donald Trump have to do with Watergate?

No wonder your ratings are down. Get off the political bandwagon. I tuned in to watch Watergate, not Michael Cohen and clips of Donald Trump. I sincerely hope whoever is responsible for the programming will change directions. It is not beneficial for you corporation to continue in this fashion.

CNN Programming

The Trump ton hall was an abomination. Whoever conceived this should be fired. Thanks for putting on a Trump rally. Collins was horribly inadequate in her fact checking. She got steamrolled for 60 minutes. How dare she not challenge Trump when he accused the left of wanting to kill babies at 9 months or after birth. This was journalistic malpractice. I will not be watching anymore and I will not be supporting your sponsors!

CNN Hosting Trump, the chief insurrectionist.

I find it shameful and regretful that you gave a national platform to this bigot to continue spewing and spreading his lies and hateful rhetoric. And just as disturbing and disappointing was the hostess’s inability or perhaps unwillingness to push back and confront him on his lies and deceptions.

I have always been a CNN viewer, supporter and defender with my circles of friends and coworkers until Trump came on your town hall program last Wednesday.

For that reason I have decided to never watch any of your programs, ever, just as I have stopped watching FOX since 2015.

CNN CNN Town Hall with Donald Trump

This is the first time I have ever commented on television content. CNN has been my go-to station for the latest in news development. I am rethinking whether I have made a good choice and will consider other stations in the future. I am so unhappy with CNN.

I was appalled that CNN would stoop so low for ratings that they held a Prime Time interview with Donald Trump that amounted to a free publicity stunt. To allow a presidential candidate free airspace for his unhinged, cult rantings is unacceptable. No wonder our country is eroding both politically and socially. Having Trump front and center puts an approval stamp on his idiocracy and makes his behavior acceptable. When you say a lie often enough, people start believing. And now CNN is complicit.

I don't know if this is the correct forum for my opinion. If not, please forward.

I am an extremely unhappy long term customer who you have lost as a follower.
