After Black Friday in the world of online poker I was happy to find this site advertised on ESPN and other networks that broadcast poker. Its legal and you can win money and prizes for only twenty bucks a month and thats all fine and good. I had heard about certain sites that were "rigged" meaning that beginning players or loyal players would win hands that in poker were just unbelievable. I did some research and found out that the same company that run's or ran "partypokers" software and website is the same company that is used for Club WPT.com. I played for a month every night, and watched all in hands or hands that were played all the way to the river. Playing in some of these myself, I saw "bad beats" that were unreal. Anyone who plays poker seriously knows at least a little about outs and odds. Well, the odds of some of the hands I saw were insane but in the end the player with the worst hand, worst outs and worst odds won almost a majority of the time! Thats truly unbelievable at a live poker game period, there are going to be bad beats and suck outs but what Ive witnessed on this site is crazy. Example: I had pocket AA pre flop, I raise 250, get one caller who re-raises 750, I push all in and he calls...so Im thinking he has pocket KK, AK, QQ something reasonable. Cards are shown he has 5, 7 offsuit...flop comes...555...what are the odds, I dont know but they are unreal. So he beat me with quad 5's. (ive also seen tons of quads on this site and have had them myself) Example 2: Make a long story short, two people in the hand both all in, at the end of the hand after the river one has quad aces, the other a Royal Flush (caught on the river of course)! Also, it seems the last card in the deck someone needs to win they catch, almost all the time. Some people may say "why would a site do this?" well thats somewhat easy to explain and its kinda common sense...lets say you are a new player, never played before but wanna play cause its popular and they can win money...so you pay your money and sign up...you dont know what your doing..you win a few hands by luck...but over time you lose the majority of the time which is what happens for any new player period...in the long run you will lose...now keeping that in mind are you going to keep playing if you always lose...doubtful...you will become frustrated period! So lets say you are a good player, you log tons of hours on the site and play in alot of tourneys but you keep getting sucked out on by players who call anything and play every hand...are you going to get upset? Yes! Are you going to get frustrated? Yes! Are you going to be motivated to keep playing? Maybe but doubtful... so for the site its a balancing act... how can you keep the new players playing and the good players staying...its simple you rig the site so its a balancing act. Thats just my theory though although others online have mentioned it too and its frustrating! If you are an online poker player check the site out pay your 20 bucks and see what you think!

Club WPT is a complete rip off... I win often on WPT in non-prize tournaments, VERY OFTEN... I have a high win ratio on most sites that I play on. On WPT even I have won seats for larger tournaments, no problem. I also have won over 80K in play chips even with all the badbeat bs that goes on... However, when it comes to the actual "prize" tournaments I am card dead every time. As I said, I normally have a very high "win ratio". I keep track of this as it is important to me. How can WPT explain a high win ratio on their non-prize tournaments and an almost zero win ratio in the prize tournaments. I win or come close to win on every site that I play on a good percentage of the time (Party Poker ahead more than 20million, Pokerstars ahead more than 40million, Paradise Poker won thousands of dollars before the United States stopped play in U.S., and I have won thousands of dollars at Viejas Casino in San Diego, and other wins. I have won many tournaments with hundreds and even thousands of players or I come close to the win. I win or come close to win in live casino play also as I have said. I think I am learning this game pretty well.
I have noted that in WPT prize tournaments however I get absolutely the worst cards ever or when I do get a very good betting hand they almost always lose (a lot of river suck outs). Really, how many premium pocket pairs, flopped top two, flopped sets, flopped straights, and even flopped flushes are going to lose, especially to completely dominated hand. In live poker at casinos I can count the number on my hands in 9 years of play. On WPT prize tournament... it is a regular event. Somehow it is the RNG norm (my opinion and evaluation). Worse than that though is the fact that WPT does not respond to complaints.. How dare them to ignore complaints from a member and a consumer? Really it is criminal in my opinion for a site to rig it's play. We all know that slots are rigged and people somehow accept that (not me.. I won't play them, they are rigged). I have contacted them and discussed this and other points with their phone "rep. They claim that the RNG is third-party tested. How would a phone operator know if that was true and also even if that was true why wouldn't they look into the complaint rather than dismiss it?
Complaints:
1. Disconnections: often when I get good cards.. repeated disconnect from table when I chat or if I go to another window and often when I would have won the hand.
2. Very slow response to click.. or no response
3. Sometimes folds with no click.. (when I have pocket A's)
4. Everyone folds when I have pocket A's (way too often)
5. Begin losing every hand and getting totally dead cards when they switch the table (most of the time they switch the table suddenly completely card dead).
6. Almost every "Prize" Tournament I don't get any winning cards.. In my hand (mostly low and not suited)
7. Almost no board to my hand.. (this is only true in prize tournaments... I get board and winning cards in non-prize tournaments).
8. Customer "service" is not real. A phone rep could not possibly know if the RNG is rigged. They all claim that it is perfect.
9. WPT must think we are all idiots. They must think that we will believe and accept that we are just extremely unlucky.. ("that's poker" is what you will hear).. I say that is not poker it is a rip off scam.
10. NO WAY to have WPT accept accountability
11. Programmers could have rigged play without WPT knowing (highly unlikely but possible). You think WPT, a site that has a shot at being top in world would take this seriously and establish credible dealing. There is no dealer. This is a program. If a lot of players are saying that it seems out of whack then maybe it is. (for players that deny that would even be reasonable for WPT or any online entity to cheat, well they don't know that other sites have already been caught and them being caught was by observant players... Players that persisted to resist the bs and found ways to prove the site (program) was rigged.
12. This is a rip off of the consumer...
13. Potentially they are killing the integrity of poker gaming. (if there is any). I would love to be playing for money online again, probably will if they make it "legal" again in U.S. How can I play for money if the site is rigged.
14. Every time they play a card from the bottom to facilitate a badbeat (by design) they are ripping the players off from their game and their time.

Thank you...

Wow I could have written this post, you may want to read my post I just wrote in reply to shadys post. I have also sent emails asking about there dealing program and all I get is a BS reply. I sent them 3 emails asking them to just state that there dealing program is 100% random at all times, I just wanted them to say yes or no and they will not instead I get BS replies! I will say I was easily validated from the get go I simply uploaded my ID and I was good. I will continue to evaluate the site, I do not want to convict on circumstantial evidence.

I just joined and am using clubWPTs "2-week trial" period. they accepted my personal info by email and confirmed receipt. i dont know the time frame of the payouts from the prizes, as i have yet to qualify for said prizes. i have been playing live since 1998 and serious tournys since 2008. I have also played online before "black friday". started at partypoker, then pokerstars & finally on full "scam", i mean errr...full tilt poler. cashed on all sites. didnt have many problems on those sites. i do have to say that i am finding common software similarities between partypoker and clubWPT. Its very interesting to know that partypoker wrote the software for clubWPT. I played for more than a year on partypoker and the suck out were very unreal, much like on clubwpt. i wont get into long stories but pkt AA, KK, QQ dont have much chance. I used to think of how powerful A 10 was on partypoker, and now it sees K J are the cards to play on clubwpt. i have seen the patterns &"dead seats" and do know how to play against them and while in them. i have run deep in some big 1, 000, 10, 000, 50, 000 player fields and luck is a major factor, but most of the software plays the same, meaning partypoker & clubwpt have very similar patterns w huge suck out from very weak 8 10, etc hands. pokerstars wasnt as bad, but yes the suck outs on clubwpt are epic. ill probably keep playing on clubwpt, but just wanted to share my feeling & thoughts. feel free to check me out anytime on clubwpt, screen name: GrinningDemon

The first thing you have to understand about clubwpt is that it is set up as a business model not a poker model. The software is set up so everyone has a chance to win no matter how bad or good they are. This keeps the flow of 24.95 a month coming in from everyone. To win on this site one has to simply learn how to play your seat. Once your seat turns hot any two cards play. Paying attention to who sits in the dead seats can also increase your stack. There are patterns galore to this site. Pay attention each day and you will figure them out. This doesn't mean you will win every time as you will get your share of dead seats. If you are a true poker player, you will not like this site. The constant stream of single card suck outs, horrible play rewarded, constant stream of flushes, and unbelievable finishes is entertaining to say the least. As a true poker player you will get quite frustrated. The technical problems will also frustrate you. I will say this, the customer service has improved dramatically over the last year. I received my checks within 3 weeks of asking for them. Overall as a poker site i give them a D. As a business model they get an A because of how this poker software works. It most certainly keeps people playing. And if you think you are the only one who knows how to play your seat, you would be wrong. Approx 70% of the people playing know how to play the hot seats and dead seats. The leaderboard stats are also a joke, mainly because the formula is designed to keep the daily players in the top 200 mix, not the BEST players. If you just want the entertainment for playing, than 24.95 is a good deal for you. If you are a true poker player, this is NOT the site for you.

I had a little trouble getn all my info to them to receive my winnings, however once I did I have received all they owed me.Also mo if there is an ace hi flush with the ace on the community cards and two players have the same suit whoever has the highest card in the hole wins damn u dumb. Also I ended my subscription over a year ago due to me not having time to play. I just rejoined and was able to cash out without resending my info so I think you are the problem not WPT

I joined clubwpt.com about 4 days ago. While I myself cannot confirm the prize claim eligibility and or confirmation anyone has received any, I can in fact confirm the software the software is rigged.

I play both Hold-Em & Black Jack tournaments, I only use Black Jack play chip games for my play chips.

Here is my experience in both:
There are a few issues with black Jack on that site:
Whether in a tournament or play chip games the results are the same which is that the dealer gets more wins than it's possible for any dealer to get in any casino on the face of this planet. Granted it's a program but that's not the point. The following is an example of what goes on during these black jack games:

Problem 1:
If you make a max bet of 25K and or all your chips you will 99.9% of the time get a number that if whether you take a hit or not, you will lose, because the dealer has a face card showing and you have a rancid number of 13-16 so you're screwed. In black jack it's normal to lose about 25% of the time on this, but in this case you lose 99.9% of the time making it a mathematical impossibility for this to happen.

Problem 2:
The program has a tendency to favor the player with the most money while in a tournament.

Problem 3:
97% of the time doubling down when you have an 11 or or below showing while the dealer has a 6 or below showing, results in you getting an end result of under 14, while the dealer takes anywhere between 3-6 cards, and gets 17s - 21s...

Problem 4:
As a continuation of Problem three, 98% of the time when the dealer takes multiple cards due to having to take hits, and I'm talking 3-6 cards and even sometimes 7-8 cards) and somehow the dealers hand magically never goes over 21, the dealer only goes over 21, I'd say about once out of every 5 or 6 times this happens. But most players who take multiple cards And I'm talking 2 or 3, go over 21, 5 out of every 4 times this is done. It's impossible that a dealer can take 3-6 cards and not go over 21 or get exactly 21 or wins, 5 times out of 6 but yet a player takes 2-3 cards and goes over 21, or loses 5 out of 6 times.

TEXAS HOLD-EM ISSUES

First let me explain a few things regarding my perspective from poker in general to help you better understand where I'm coming from.

I personally find Texas hold-em river rule completely ###ic and the ultimate contradiction to poker.
Let me explain, 99% of Poker is a game of skill and very little chance, and always has been, up until some ### somehow managed to convince the gaming commission to totally change this. Regardless of what any poker player says the ability for people to win on the river, voids any skill involved up to that point, which contradicts poker in general. People always say bet smart and play right, well none of that matters and is no longer a factor with the river. You can bet anyway you want to and try to be as smart as you want to, but if you play to the river, none of how you bet matters any more simply because people that shouldn't be winning due to the skill before the river screw you out of a win all because they got lucky.

They need to do one of 2 things in order to put the game back the way it is supposed to be.
1. The ability to win on the river needs to be completely removed altogether. And allow only people who have the game won before the river to win
OR
2. If they keep the river and the 100% luck factor and win on that, then they need to stop all the betting, no flop, no turn, only flip 5 cards and win like that.

So that means lock in their bets before any cards are dealt just like black jack, and then wait and see who wins..

Doing number 2 is absolutely no different than people playing until the river and having the river screw someone out of a win. Face it...when people play to the river get lucky and win it's the same as locking in your bets and seeing who wins

The other rule that is ###ic and contradicts itself is the flush rule.

Excluding a royal flush, If you ask anyone what the highest Flush is a person can have, they will respond with A high flush. It even says so in the rules. Now the reason this is ###ed and contradictory is simply because if both people have hearts in their hand and there are 3 hearts on the board and one of the ones on the board is an A of hearts, according to the rule and what everyone says and the hand ranks, both players do in fact have an A high flush because both players share the A making both players have the same exact hand.

If you still disagree then apply what I'm about to say to this:
If both players have a 2 and 3 in their hand and the board has a 4, 5, 6 both players have a 2-5 straight right, however think about this, if one player has a 2, 7 in their hand and another player has 2, 3 in their hand, and there is a 4, 5, 6, then then the player with a 7 wins the hand for having a higher straight...But now take that and apply it to the A high flush
If A high flush is the highest, and both players have hearts, and there are 3 hearts on the board one of them being an A, no player can have anything in their hand that can go above A high flush

Because you cannot go above A high flush, so if the hearts in both players hands are 3, 7 H, and 4, 8, how is it possible that means an * high flush wins which isn't possible because A high flush is the highest.

So this rule is not only ###ed, doesn't even make any sense, but also throws the Flush ranking system and what the highest flush is out the window.

According to how this works A high is not the highest flush because if it was, when the A is on the board the pot would be split.

Anyway, you couple all that with the Texas Hold-em on CLUBWPT.com and you have a disaster.
The computer targets specific people (Not sure the calculation it uses for this but) if you watch the games there are people who just never ever catch a break on the river and certain people who get a break every single time when they need it.

I myself won an entry seat into a satellite tourney Sunday April 15th, 2012 at 4pm.
If I wind up winning the seat..Good luck to me on that) I will report back if I was able to get my prize.

I am also going to start video recording my games with narration by me and posting the videos showing what is going on during these games so keep an eye out for them ok.

this is how holdem is played everywhere on every site in every casino! If NL is not your game I suggest limit poker. They will never change how texas hold em is played that's like believing trump will resign because he knows he is a pos, corrupted pig!

my complaint is, this is suppose to be a free poker site, however, if u have several "FREE" accounts, you can only chat on 2. It says, chat is for paid members only!. I will not pay just to chat. However, If you are a paid member, you can have as many accounts as you want, this is not fair to the one's that only want to play free games. I have several accounts, which are free accounts, I cannot say, gh, ty, unless I pay? Oh well, I may become a member, but not soon. How can you say it's a free poker site, when you have to pay, just to chat at tables? Disappointed poker player.

Clubwpt poker is also designed to take your 19.95 a month in agreement to where you cannot be able to contact personally with a customer or membership contact by phone in the event to claim a prize. if you go to claim a money prize they will ask you to fax your info, then they will tell you through a chat session that they have not received the information & ask you to please fax it again. then they will ask you what number did you fax your info from?, then they will tell ya that the fax was blurred & they cannot read your info. if you try to send it post-mail they will tell you that you will have to wait that they haven't received the info. yet. then they will tell ya to check to see that you sent the correct info to the right address & please send it again, so that your never ever able to claim your prizes, if there is money involved. bottom line is clubwpt does not have a customer contact by phone#to speak with live & the only means of contact is through their automated database faq's system & your issues is never resolved to where they have to pay any money prizes out, & your actually paying $19.95 a month just to play poker.

I saw the same bad beats also. I mentioned it twice in the comments section (I literally remarked "quads on the turn and river again") and the next day they blocked me from seeing my cards. the reasoning behind it was that I was playing away from home in another state that I couldn't receive prize money in. the logic was flawed because I have been playing away from home in that state for roughly 14 days in a row before I stated that fact. Coincidentally after I complain to WPT about the blacking out of my screen my computer died and it was only two years old

I agree club wpt very shady I have been playing on line poker since 2008 on a regular basis and have won some big mtt, s, I agree it may be rigged to keep the retarded donks happy and paying there 24.95 a month, I have been on the site now for over 3 months and in the beginning I did win a little a total of 70.00 which I do get in the mail. But after that no matter how I played or what I did the site had no intention of letting me win! Except they let me win in points turneys, those are turneys where you can win turney points which you need in order to enter turneys, for example there sunday 5k turney requires 4000 tp, s but you can have a million tp, s if you can not win the cash who cares! Even if the site is not rigged be warned at least 50-60 % play as if its just play poker and the only play for entertainment period if they occasionally win 5 or 10 bucks then there thrilled! The site is not licensed buy any gaming authority, also there customer service is very poor email only no chat or calls. If you like turneys and just want the entertainment value go for it but do not join with any expectation of winning a big cash prize, its like the same odds of winning the lotto! I may cancel but I do admit I do get entertainment value in between my desire to compete. I will write more reviews in the future, my player name is nicetryfish on club wpt. Now I am sure I on there do not let win list!

I was a member for 6 months, until I attempted to cash out my winnings. Not a chance, you talk to their support they tell you to send valid I.D and proof of address. I did 15 times over 3 month period. Everytime I talk to them, they say we haven't received anything.

Warning this is a fn scam. STAY AWAY

Wow I totally agree with Kratom Buzz this site is almost for sure rigged in that I believe there is no way on earth there dealing program is truly random! I know it can be done on the tech end from what I have been able to learn. They do it to keep there paying donks happy and paying there monthly fee. Anyone who plays on the site on a regular basis does not take it serious at all so most just play insane poker because they really don't care if they go out, as the site runs 24/7 turneys, There are some decent players in there but you will be dealing with massive herds of spazztic donks!
