This company is simply amazin'. The office staff is super friendly, and the technicians are always professional and kind. I highly recommend 'em to all my buddies, family, and neighbors! 10/10, ya know?

Climatemp Cooling & Heating I been using Climatemp to fix my furnace for a long time

I been using Climatemp to fix my furnace for a long time. I paid $*** to renew my service until 2023. But they haven't done what they promised. So I asked for my money back and stopped using them altogether. They don't answer my calls. When they know it's me, they put me on hold. I called and asked to speak to the owner or the accounting department, but nobody replied. They think I'll just give up and let them keep the money they owe me. I've called them 6 times.

Climatemp Cooling & Heating Installation of new unit

Sold me a 26 year rated Carrier infinity unit instead installed an 18 Seer rated evolution Bryant. Remove my working unit and installed the Bryant that they knew was not what I ordered did not tell me and then only partially installed it. Later when I refused to sign off on the job so they could charge me they came back to my house and drained the free and out of the unit leaving me with no heat and no AC because the heat was never installed. This 1 on for 2 winters and 3 summers. Instead of doing the right thing and fixing the problem they lied to me numerous times refused to give me the owner's phone number by the time I did get his number he refused to do the right thing. That led to them putting a leaning against my home and suing me. This entire situation has been a nightmare they continuously lode they submitted paperwork to the court which is a lie in all these things I can prove and I am proving in court. The only time they have sort of told the truth is when back into a corner because I had bone recordings of my conversations with his employees at his company. The only paperwork I ever received from this company was the proposal carbon copy. I ask many times for any scope of work and never receive a single shred of paper from them. They have not responded to my lawyer's request for paperwork. This case is still ongoing. I don't know for a fact but it's my personal belief that the unit that I was sold was never even ordered. I still don't know why on earth they didn't simply tell me that they didn't have my order or explain to me why they removed my working unit and in a knowing installed what they knew wasn't mine. How that can be explained as anything other than dishonest is beyond me. There is so much more I'm leaving out but out of fear of them accusing me of slander again I fear to put it down. The owner of this company went so far that by the time my lawyer got involved in the case they were close to getting the judge to sell my home so they could get their money. This experience has been an ongoing nightmare that never should have been. I personally believe that the plan from the very beginning was to run a scam on me by selling me the top of a line and installing something bottom of the line. They tried so hard to convince me that what was here was absolutely what I ordered even though I knew that it was not and it wasn't until they got backed against the wall that they finally admitted that it wasn't. Then didn't do anything to fix it. I don't understand how a company like this has a license to continue to serve the public with something that is so important down here like air conditioning. The heat reaches levels so hot it's dangerous. To leave someone on intentionally with no AC should be a crime. I can not find the words to explain how miserable. I lost my family so I didn't have a place to go stay for almost 3 years. I just got AC not even a month ago. Every day I thank God for it. Thats how bad it was. I would never ever ever recommend this company to anyone.

Desired outcome: This case is still in the courts. The owner doesn't feel his company has done anything wrong.

Climatemp Cooling & Heating CLIMATEMP Cooling & Heating, Inc

CLIMATEMP Cooling & Heating, Inc. makes you pay for a fancy Maintenance Agreement/Contract, and I like the 3-year one where they come check things every 3-4 months. So, on 8 Dec 2020, I paid them $328.00 with a check to renew my 3-year deal. But guess what? CLIMATEMP hasn't bothered to contact me for any of those required maintenance checks. They haven't even reached out to say if they're busy because of COVID or anything. So, after waiting for six months, I finally called their office on 4 June to cancel my Contract. I told them that CLIMATEMP hasn't been keeping their end of the deal. They said they needed to check my file and promised to call me back. But guess what? No call back. I called them on 8, 9, and 10 June, but it's like they don't care. They keep saying that if I schedule a maintenance check, everything will be fine with the Contract. But I'm not buying it. I want to cancel the Contract and get my money back. It's now 11 July , and they still haven't responded.

Climatemp Cooling & Heating I've been a customer of Climatemp for 11 years

I've been a customer of Climatemp for 11 years. They put in and serviced my 2 HVAC systems. On May 24, I called 'em 'cause one system wasn't coolin'. They sent a tech out who said the inside blower motor wasn't workin' and it'd cost at least $1500 to replace it. They charged me $189 for this diagnosis. I also paid $120.60 to renew my yearly maintenance agreement. I got a second opinion and found out the Climatemp diagnosis was completely wrong. I called Climatemp the very next day and asked for a refund for this error in diagnosis and also for the maintenance agreement which I won't use 'cause they lost my trust. They said their policy is no refunds. I left 2 messages for the owner to call me to discuss. He never called. On June 28, I finally was able to speak to the office manager and she said only the owner could authorize a refund and she would talk to him and call me back. She never even had the courtesy to call me back.

Climatemp Cooling & Heating I had Climatemp Cooling & Heating Inc come to fix my air conditioning unit, which was only 3 years old

I had Climatemp Cooling & Heating Inc come to fix my air conditioning unit, which was only 3 years old. They came out on June 14, and their technician, Jason, said there was no leak but added some refrigerant. We paid $259.00 on the spot. The next day, the system still wasn't cooling, so another technician, ***, came and said we needed a valve replacement. They didn't charge us for that because it was a recall. But the air conditioner still didn't work, and when I called to check on the part, I found out it was never ordered. It took them 1.5 weeks to come back and replace the valve and refrigerant, which cost us $1,085.00. On July 4, we called a different contractor, Hansen Heating & Air, and they found that Climatemp had put a filter on the unit that wasn't necessary and was causing problems. They removed it and fixed the refrigerant issue for $165.00. Now the air conditioning is finally working. I have all the invoices and pictures of the serial number and the bad work that Climatemp did. I can only attach one picture though.

Climatemp Cooling & Heating I've been a loyal customer of Climatemp Cooling & Heating, Inc

I've been a loyal customer of Climatemp Cooling & Heating, Inc. for over 20 years, but it seems like they don't value our relationship at all. I'm really disappointed that they didn't show any interest in addressing my complaint or request. After reading the many complaints and talking to people in the area, it's clear that I'm not the only one feeling this way.

Recently, our home suffered damage from Hurricane Sally, and while we were getting exterior repairs done, our air conditioning suddenly stopped working. We immediately called Climatemp for help, and they sent a really nice technician. He quickly discovered that the exterior plug wasn't fully pushed in, which was causing the power issue. He fixed it within three minutes, and they charged us $134.00 for the service.

I called them to ask if they could consider lowering the charge, especially since we're on a fixed income and dealing with the aftermath of the hurricane. They promised to get back to me, but they never did. After several calls, I finally spoke to the bookkeeper, who simply said that the standard charge couldn't be changed. There was no consideration given to our long-standing loyalty or our current situation. They didn't even apologize!

When I mentioned that the technician found the situation amusing, the bookkeeper said they would deal with him. I didn't call to get him in trouble; he was actually really great. It's just that the bookkeeper didn't think it was funny and wanted to take action against him. That was the last straw for me. If this is how they conduct business, it's no wonder they have a high turnover rate among their employees. I want my opinion to be heard, so I'm sharing my experience.

We're about to start a new construction project, and in addition to our current home, we'll be considering other companies for our HVAC needs. This decision is solely based on our experience with the female bookkeeper. I don't know if Randy *** is still the owner, but if he is, I want him to know that I am extremely disappointed.

Climatemp Cooling & Heating I asked for my order of an ultra-violet light system to be canceled, but Climatemp won't cancel it or give me my money back

I asked for my order of an ultra-violet light system to be canceled, but Climatemp won't cancel it or give me my money back. On March 17, during a heating and a/c system maintenance service call, the technician told me I needed a *** ultra-violet light cleaning system, which Climatemp could provide for $950.00. He also said the system was low on freon and would check for leaks and add freon for $275.00. He said they collect fees upfront, so I gave him my credit card. They emailed me a receipt for $1,225.00. After the service call, he said the office would call to install the *** system and that he fixed the leak and added freon. On March 23, the *** Climatemp office called to schedule the install, but I asked them to put it on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. They agreed. On March 25, they called again to schedule the install, but I told them I put it on hold. After reviewing my maintenance contract, I realized I shouldn't have been charged for freon since it's included in my contract (up to 2 lbs). On March 26, I called the *** Climatemp office to get an itemized receipt and ask why I was charged for freon. They said they didn't have the receipt and would get back to me. On April 2, I called again and asked to speak to the billing person who hadn't called me back. *** said *** would call me back. Later that day, *** called and said they would credit my account $100.00 for the freon charged in error. I asked for an itemized receipt and for the $100.00 to be refunded directly to me. They agreed to mail me a check. I also said I wanted to cancel the *** system, but they said it had already been ordered and received, so they couldn't cancel it. I told them I wasn't informed about the cancellation policy. As of today, April 8, I haven't received the $100.00 refund for the freon. Climatemp needs to refund the $950.00 I paid for the *** system since I don't want it. They never told me the payment was non-refundable and I haven't signed or seen any receipts for this transaction.
