Cleveland Clinic Dr Lia jamian

Today 5/11/2022 @ 11:45 AM

Today at the west palm beach Cleveland clinic I went to see Dr Lia Jamian and because of my exspirence at the office I felt I needed to share this. So Dr Jamian enters the examination room a greets me with all of the pleasantries and she then said so where her to discuss your lab results right ? My answer yes and a few other things hopefully. So she tells me that the Dr who has been treating me for RA had no reason to treat me for that because I didn't have RA and never did. Then she said you remember on your initial visit I told you that it's not RA I said yes and so that was that. Then I asked so what do I have ? Why am I in so much pain why are my hands hurting so bad why are the soles of my feet beginning to hurt more and more everyday. Why do I feel pain in my hands and are as soon as I enter the frozen food section in the food markets. Her answer was Mr Robinson it's all in your head. If you get the right meds all of this goes away you need to be treated and medicated by a physician who deals with these kind of issues. And oh by the way there are signs of osteo arthritis but not enough for me to treat. That was my experience today at the Cleveland clinic!

Desired outcome: I would like to know that others who may come to the Cleveland clinic W.P. B. Would be treated with respect and that they would be left to deal with the fall out of a Dr Jamian experience.

Cleveland Clinic my flu vaccination record of it

I was there several months ago. This was the worst medical facility I have ever gone to. PLEASE somehow find the flu shot I was given that day. I need proof to start my volunteer work, but no one can find a record of it. Dr Khan did not even know why I was there. I was going to establish PCP. After the 2-minute exam I will never choose CC as my PCP. If you can find that they gave me the flu shot. email it to me. [protected]@aol.com If not, I am sure, you will see the lack of a competent staff.

Desired outcome: Please email me the proof of my flu shot

Cleveland Clinic Nurse on Dr. Kaiser staff at Cole Eye Institute.

First I have to say Cole Eye institute and staff saved my eyesight.

I have been attending there for at least 8 years.

I have seen Dr. Nadia Waheed and Dr. fishing Singh and they have been excellent but which brings me to the concern I am presenting.

I was scheduled for laser surgery May 6.

Records will show I saw vision person and had my right eye dilated. This person was Morgan and she was very good. I was then sent to wait for DR. Kaiser.

After waiting in the chair for one hour and ten minutes, I tried to politely ask the nurse about the schedule. I believe it was a nurse in lab coat and not a resident. It was such a brief interaction.

She proceeded to be abrupt and demeaning. She did not provide any information and stated they should have told me it might bev4 hours.

Of course I have been going to Cole for many years and understand the ebb and flow. Since she could not provide a time frame we agreed I should leave.

I am writing because the notes state I left after finding out the treatment may leave me permanently blind.

THIS IS NOT TRUE. I never saw doctor Kaiser that day and would have stayed for the procedure if just acknowledge a time frame.

I have had previous laser surgery, so I was not concerned about laser surgery.

.

Desired outcome: 1.I would like to be scheduled for the surgery but not with that staff.2. My care has been exceptional, I wanted to provide feedback because it matters about the quality of care CC provides.

Cleveland Clinic Neurosurgical surgeon

I had surgery on August 5th 2021. I first saw Dr Babu in PSL. She said that she needed to do 5 different procedures, would take 8 hours. Really liked her and was happy with the plans. Next time I went another Dr came in and never introduced himself and preceded to tell me the surgery he was going to do. I had to ask him who he was and what happened to previous Dr. He finally introduced himself as Dr. Oszkar Szentirmai. I had surgery on August 5th 2021 and have been in severe pain since then. This Dr has been giving me a heck of a time. You call because you are in pain and they give you an appt for 3 months down the road. He sent me to get a pain shot 2 times which did not work. He was advised of this and I have an appt in 2 months. He said he could do a procedure that would only take 20 minutes. Well HELLO get it done already. I also have calcium that is connecting the spine to the pelvic bones on both sides. I am having a very difficult time walking and I have fallen once already. I walked in to his office and now I am using a walker to get around. The pain shots are not going to give me function back into my legs. I have never in my life had so much trouble getting in to see a dr. You need to advised this Dr that he does not walk on water and I am sure that he puts his pants on the same way I do. one leg at a time. Thank You for listening. I hope you can get something done.

James Shreves DOB 12/13/1954

Desired outcome: I would like this Dr to release the spine from the pelvic bones on both sides and whatever else needs to be done so I can go back to work. And to also treat me like a man.

Cleveland Clinic Billing and Dr. putting different date of service

Dr. Baranowski interpreted a zio heart monitor created report on Dec 16, 2021,it was uploaded to MyChart where I can view it. My complaint is the doctor signed the report January 6 2022, which puts this into a new deductible year causing out of pocket charges for me. I find it fraudulent to put the date of service three weeks after creating report. I want the billing date to show Dec 16 2021, which was when the report was created. The billing and coding say that they have no control over matter, I need someone to help fix this issue and correct the date.

Desired outcome: I want the date of service to reflect the day the report was created not when the doctor decided to sign three weeks later creating issues with payment on my part. I have the report dated 12/16/2021 not January.

Cleveland Clinic All dr bedside manner poor communication

I have been a patient of Cleveland Clinic Weston for over ten years. I must say that the bedside manner of these Dr's young and old is the poorest I have ever experienced. It's pretty much impossible to change Dr's as most already are overloaded the ones that are accepting new patients are 30 years old, little experience and communication is poor at best (if you want names, I can drop you a few). The Dr have what 8 minutes max with each patient. If messaging the Dr will never see the message as they are intercepted by office staff and you lucky to get a response. I'm very much disgusted with this place unfortunately it is a pain in the butt to change. We shall see.

Desired outcome: I have no expectations as I think this will fall on deaf ears and end up in the trash bin.

I agree with Jorge de Goicoechea. I had a bad experience last night with a new doctor who was young and had no professionalism. Our visit was contentious, at best, and I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Overall a bad experience. I will never recommend her.

Cleveland Clinic billing dispute

Have been trying to talk to someone since early December 2021. My bill is not correct. The first appoint on Dec 3rd was via zoom I did not know how to use zoom and did not speak with a doctor. I made no other appointments, and I am being charged for a 2nd appt on Dec 14th, I do not know who made this appt but I do know I should not be responsible. I sent a letter to dispute dept and they responded by telling me since I did not cancel I am responsible, HOW CAN I CANCEL AN APPT I DID NOT MAKE? I set up a call back for March 10, 2022 but the last call back I made did not happen, NO ONE CALLED! When I made the Dec 3rd appt I was in very depressed, I wonder how can you get immediate care at the time that you need it. I am very angry the was the Clinic handle this whole matter. Acct # E38491250. MARIE RACUTT [protected]

Desired outcome: I will pay for the Dec 3rd appt only, $75.00 and not for the 2nd appt for Dec 14th. I want to speak with someone, DO NOT SEND A LETTER PLEASE.

Cleveland Clinic No pill refills

beware! since Covid we've been away from Florida, my husband has BAD underlaying conditions and we did not want to be any near to any hospital, and Florida was not safe, so we moved to the mountains of Georgia for a while. Upon our return I book my gynecologist appointment for 2/28 and at the same time I noticed ALL my prescriptions refill request had been denied. I call and request them to please refill at least until the day of my appointment, and they said no. No meaning they are leaving me with no medication at all because I have not been seen by them for quite some time. I explained the situation and requested just a short extension of refills (my appointment was 18 days from the day of my request) and they denied it, the lady on the phone informed me that the Nurse Practician Nicole Pirrone would not refill at all based on the fact she had never seen me before and it was unethical. I had last seen Dr. Sahni which is no longer with the clinic. I believe unethical is to leave a patient with no medication in my humble opinion. A shame as I have been a patient of Cleveland Clinic for the last 12 years, I had similar situations with other specialist, and they were flexible to refill until my appointment. Needless to say I have changed provider.

Cleveland Clinic Billing

2/22/22 - The Cleveland Clinic billing process and system is terrible. I was on a payment plan. I missed a couple payments (my fault). I called customer service and paid. Then, the next month I paid via MyChart. You really never know what your payment is applied to. I thought I was paying the late amount. But in actuality, I was paying another bill. The whole system is unclear.

I find it odd that a non-profit organization, like Cleveland Clinic, is so quick to send you to collections. Seems predatory. With their non-profit status, you'd think they'd do more for the community. Meanwhile, health costs are so high, and health insurance plans don't seem to pay for anything. The lower middle class is hit on every side. I can't even believe a primary care doctor visit costs $400+.

I am getting new health insurance, and hoping to try another hospital, like University Hospitals. Maybe their prices are cheaper. I've gone their before, and had good outcomes.

Similar experience, Cleveland Clinic Weston, Florida Location: After giving one of the doctors in neurology the benefit of the doubt several times over tardiness and chronic rescheduling issues, he did it again today on an appointment made over 2 months ago. Mind you, this was (as in the past) a virtual visit. He just cancelled - at the last minute - without saying he had an emergency, without offering a new appointment or plan for addressing my immediate medical concerns.

After I could not get through to the appointments desk, I used MyChart to contact his office directly. Later in the day, someone called back and offered what she said was the earliest appointment -- more than a month from now. She made no attempt to determine the purpose or urgency for an appointment (it was not a 911 reason), there was no attempt to see if I had a question about my ongoing medications or treatment plan, there was no offer to have the Doctor call me to discuss my concerns (on average he has spent less than 5 minutes per appointment with me), no offer to identify or refer me to another Clinic doctor. When I said I did not want to wait another month and that I had no choice but to find another doctor, the Doctor's assistant uncaringly replied, "no problem" and hung-up. I can't speak about the other doctors in neurology, but this doctor in my opinion is too self-absorbed to care about a Clinic patient.

Cleveland Clinic Poor customer service skills

I called the Covid Hotline, accidentally called the Florida hotline. An employee named Carl answered. I was calling to see if I should get my PCR test for the Omicron variant. I just had covid on 11/23 (diagnosed PCR) had my first vaccination on 12/21. I have the Omnicron symptoms but wasn't sure if the first infection has cleared my system, so the PCR test isn't having a false positive.

He told me I needed to get a cancer check to make sure that's not an underlying condition. Why would he say that? Just state "call your family physician there could be under lying conditions."

I happen to have an appointment with Dr. Goraya at Hillcrest Hosp on 1/10. It's my 6-month visit, she is watching one of my lymph nodes.

I ended up calling my local health department. I would think that an institution such as the Clinic you wouldn't have a customer care rep like that.

I hope someone addresses the issue.

Desired outcome: Please have additional training for your staff. Or open a hotline with residents or doctors who can answer simple questions. The health depts aren't open 24/7

Cleveland Clinic Medical Care and treatment

On December 20th I went to see Dr. Patel in Weston about a hip problem. There was no X-ray taken, no exam and no time taken as we spoke for about 2 minutes. He told me I would be called to come back to Weston for a sonar directed cortisone shot. I received no call or message. When I called to follow up a few days later I was told I was left a voicemail (I was not) to come to Coral Springs for the shot on January 6th. Despite my pain I was told this was the best they could do. This morning, despite my severe pain 18 days I was called this morning to tell me my appointment was cancelled. Despite my pain growing each day I was told as a matter of fact that the best they could do was next week making it over three weeks. I am sitting here in continued pain and no one seems to give a crap.

Cleveland Clinic patient care

I have reached a point where I no longer trust the Cleveland clinic with my medical care. It began with small things. For an example, I have been a regular patient of Dr. Burkey in the Wooster location. I primarily see his PA, Roxanne. I like Roxanne very much and do believe she is a good care provider. However, if she is not available and I have a need for an RX refill I consistently receive a phone call back after my "my chart" request. The call is largely the same each time. I am called to be told that my refills will not be fulfilled in the future unless I attend my regular appointments. I have not missed an appointment with Roxanne. I feel I receive this call because I have not seen the doctor and there is confusion within the office because I see the PA instead of the doctor.
Early this fall I had the flu, not covid. I was not able to return to work within 3 days and my employer requires a doctor's note if I am off more that 3 days. I requested assistance through mychart. I received a response that it is the clinic's policy not to provide medical notes for the flu. This is documented in my my chart correspondence and you are welcome to review this communication. I have NEVER asked for a work excuse before. This was very upsetting. I was seen for the condition in the urgent care clinic so it was clearly documented that I was ill. Which brings up another concern - if I am sick I can never see my care provider - I must always go to urgent care.
Most recently I took a home covid test because I had symptoms resembling covid. This test came back positive. I am 59 years old, diabetic, have high blood pressure and I am a cancer survivor. I asked for the monoclonal treatment to be ordered through my chart. I was called by a nurse and told that I do qualify for the treatment but they cannot get me in for a confirmation test until after the 7 day window and the hospital won't do the treatment without the medical confirmation. I even asked the nurse - point blank- are you telling me that there is a treatment that could conceivably save my life but I can't get the treatment because your office is too busy to care for a patient. She said yes that is correct. My husband's physician, who I have never seen, was appalled by this. He got me in that day for the test and I was able to get the monoclonal treatment.
Today was the last straw for me. In my email I received a request for a tax deductable donation to the cleveland clinic. You are asking me to donate to an organization that did not help me in my time of need. Even with the monoclonal treatment I am still sick. I honestly don't know what to do at this point. I do know that I won't be donating to your organization.

Cleveland Clinic Rude, immature behavior staff, toward me upon my facility entry on 22 dec 2021 at 8 am.

I entered the Elyria facility after a year absence, due to a possible emergency upcoming skin surgery today. I was very nervous. I went to the kiosk to check in. I wore a mask. When I got to the kiosk, someone
SCREAMED THAT I 'WAS IN THE WRONG PLACE AND I MUST GET MY TEMPERATURE TAKEN', BY HER. What happened to 'GOOD MORNING' or coming over to me? I did not even notice that she was at a podium in the corner by the stairway. I was more concerned about myself and trying to remain less nervous while checking in. All that got my attention was her loud and inappropriate sounding voice, evidently directed toward me. That did not help my anxiety, at that point. Could she not come closer to assist me? Why shout across a public area like that? Why treat me like that? When I got over toward her in the 'line', she would not 'serve' me or speak to me until I stood on the floor sticker in front of her. No greeting, no kindness, no helpful information extended toward me, just martinet behavior from her. It was very rude and ignorant of her to not realize I was there and her shouting at me made me nervous about even being there. She should do her job BETTER than that, or get another job if she is that irritated and yelling at customers at 8 AM.
I recommend a Cleveland Clinic inservice in approaching others and doing her job with kindness. She may need more training. I noticed other clients who happened to follow after me and when they followed the evidently expected, protocol, she was quite pleasant in her greeting and chit chat with them. As soon as they entered the area. I was treated like a bad, ugly stepchild because I was not aware of the expectation upon entering the building due to NERVES AND NO ONE ASSISTING APPROPRIATELY.

While waiting for my appointment, I also observed her away from her podium, chatting with other staff. I guess that is a good place to 'wait' for customers, given it is the 'holidays'.

Desired outcome: Personally, I would like to know in writing what was done to assist this woman to gain more valuable skills for doing her job. I would like to receive that in writing.

Cleveland Clinic Nasty rude self serving attendant / phone at urology department weston

On this date the person who answered the phone was rude, answered there own preconceived questions, interrupting and hung up on me. When I called back to get the name I believe it was the same person they refused to give it to me after several request and asked me many questions why I wanted the name and stated there was two people there. Then put me on hold with no explanation why just hold, another person Liz got on the phone I explained my request for the name, Liz at one point after asking me many questions and saying she doesn't understand why I wanted the name stated there was fifty people in that office and then after I answered why I wanted the name for the third time, then further avoided answering and now said there was thousands of people there, And said someone will call you and as I was in the middle of asking who she just hung up. I got the feeling I was talking with children who were unsupervised very uncooperative, condescending in response to simple request. Definitely not representative of a medical office.

Cleveland Clinic Working environment

I work at the clinic in Avon 2nd shift, and we are constantly harassed and bullied by a first shift lead named Holly. The working environment is sickening. We try to talk to our manager John and he acts like your job is on the line for talking about what is going on. It has gotten so bad that going to work makes you physically sick. We are short staffed and do our best. Yet get demeaned and down graded. It's to the point that being unemployed would be a blessing.

Cleveland Clinic No wheelchair lift at Willoughby Hills Radiology/CT

I am very disappointed that the Willoughby Hills CT/MRI does not have a wheelchair person lift system. I am disabled and my mom is wheelchair bound, can not stand to transfer to the CT scanner. I have made appointment and told them repeatedly my situation and they say, bring her in. When I get there they don't have equipment to lift her, so I have to cancel and have the assisted living bus take her back. She can not get to the Hillcrest Hospital (if they had a lift), why can't the Willoughby Hills location accomodate and get a lift? I need to get and other CT for my mom in May/June and I will have to pay an ambulance to get her to Hillcrest to get a CT. Cost will be out of pocket at least $600-$1, 000 for an 84 year old senior citizen after Medicare. Sad. I am so so disappointed in Cleveland Clinic. Thanks [protected]@yahoo.com
