Cleveland Clinic - Security guard at the emergency room at Cleveland clinic ER in Weston , Florida

On Saturday, august 12th, around 830 pm, I arrived with my sister who was having severe foot pain. I came into the ER and asked if I could use a wheel chair to bring her in . I was slightly frazzled . It has been a long day as we had earlier buried my grandmother. My sister spraining her foot at the cemetery. I figured out how to get the wheelchair to the car and my sister transferred to it. However it appeared the wheelchair was stuck and I was not clear on how to make it move again. My sister motioned to the security guard, a middle aged latinx gentleman who came outside and said “it’s strange, how did you get the wheelchair from inside to the car.” In a very mocking and shaming tone. A tone we did not appreciate. I am also a healthcare provider and I would never speak to anyone in such a snarky tone especially in such a high stress environment of an emergency room.

Cleveland Clinic - ER doctor and nurses were the worst possible to care

My Name is Aitanga Irish, I never had a bad experience with Cleveland clinic in Weston, FL.

Till Friday night I was coming with some bad symptoms have a bad infection not sure what it was I went to Cleveland clinic ER I went inside I heard the nurse saying :she's sick and she's going to make me sick, I vomited it the bed and none of them didn't clean me or wipe me cause I was sick then doctor came without checking on my symptoms just asking questions I almost fainted and passed out. Draw blood, then fluids and the nurse still with grumpy attitude with the nausea fluid and something to calm me down then x-ray and that was it then it came the doctor few saying it just have an infection and I was going home and I told him that I'm still sick and do you think he cares nor the nurses. They were call my husband and didn't answer then came back to me for calling him and I said : how could I get him since I'm still in bad shape. The rip off my wrist badge's and I told them I need to pee then they grab a wheelchair and I told them I'm sick, dizzy and the nurse told me get in the chair like a normal person and I replied to her I'M SICK don't you see and put me something to take out my urine and then my husband came and this is the worst part I asked if I can talk to my husband inside the room and they don't let me talk to him inside the ER room The nurses grab me and one male nurse grab me behind my neck with his nails pinching my neck, one nurse said to another nurse : you owe me one and I tried to scream but I was so sick but because I was sick they take me off the hospital. I have health insurance and have rights like any other patients. The doctor said that I was illegally trespassing and kick me out. I'm mentally in shock how nowadays Health staff department don't acknowledge the patient rights. So CLEVELAND CLINIC IN WESTON FLORIDA

YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED OUT FOR BAD DISRESPECTFUL ER NURSES AND THE BLUE UNIFORM DOCTOR HORRIFIC PERFORMANCE. WHY ARE THEY IN THE FIELD WHEN THEY ABSOLUTELY NOT IMPROVED WHAT THEY ARE?

Desired outcome: Review the footage on Friday late night ER and see themselves. Full of shame. Apologies it's not the word for. I'm already mentally panicked to go back to Cleveland clinic in Weston FL.

Cleveland Clinic - Medical error in chart, denied injection

6/30 due to have prolia Injection @Dr. McCoys office

Office called and stated I already had injection on 3/21 by Dr. Cathy-Jones Swain

6/30 Dr.McCoy nurse stated Dr. Cathy-Jones made medical error in her chart stating I received prolia injection. I did have an injection of antibiotic only.

7/1 Lots of confusion between Dr. Jones/Swain and Dr. McCoy.

7/1 office stated they are working on resolution

7/6 charted again in MyChart regarding prolia injection to get an appointment

7/7 Nicole (nurse) called and asked if I heard anything from Dr. McCoys office regarding an appointment for injection.

Stated she would call me back.

7/7 No call back received

Because if this grievous error by doctor , I have missed my dosage. I can only get 2 injections a year.

I am still waiting.

Desired outcome: I would like to receive my injection asap. I have osteoporosis so I really needed both injections. Someone needs to be held accountable I can be reached at 817-688-7780Petra Scott

Cleveland Clinic - Medical Care and treatment

On December 20th I went to see Dr. Patel in Weston about a hip problem. There was no X-ray taken, no exam and no time taken as we spoke for about 2 minutes. He told me I would be called to come back to Weston for a sonar directed cortisone shot. I received no call or message. When I called to follow up a few days later I was told I was left a voicemail (I was not) to come to Coral Springs for the shot on January 6th. Despite my pain I was told this was the best they could do. This morning, despite my severe pain 18 days I was called this morning to tell me my appointment was cancelled. Despite my pain growing each day I was told as a matter of fact that the best they could do was next week making it over three weeks. I am sitting here in continued pain and no one seems to give a crap.

Cleveland Clinic - er department

Had surgery on Wednesday on July 1st was having some complications and was told to go to er for some blood work to make sure their was no infection. While i was there they never asked any questions on covid and proceeding to put me in a small room with 6 other patience's while waiting in that room they had a nurse come in and do covid test on 3 of them 2 which already testing positive before . I know i didn't have covid and just had surgery and should not have been put in same area as people they thought had covid or were testing. All they did was put a high risk patience that just had surgery at risk worst run er department ever and i will send complaint to Florida department of health

On 1/3/2020 went in to get a breakfastb sandwhich service was great. But had to go eat somewhere else. when I told manager about tha nats that are to many to be in a food facility, she went to talk to one of her workers they pointed at me and walked off. I am offended. I love clevland clinic so why is a place you consume food has bugs. do they need inspection. I made a sugestion that not to just change the bag the cans need tobe washed. But I guess i'll try the inspectors because being brushed off was not called for. And your workers need to know english.

Cleveland Clinic - Absolute disrespect for patients

I had an appointment scheduled with the ENT Department for 4.15. I received a call from the Department asking if I could come in earlier. I was there 15 minutes later, which put me about 1 hour and 10 minutes ahead of my original appointment.
After waiting for some 15 minutes, I called the Department, from the waiting room and was put on hold for an hour, while one of the nurses, or nurse assistants went "looking" for the Doctor's nurse.
Finally, some 35 minutes after my original appointment time, at 4.50, the Doctor himself came to get me.
Why would the Doctor himself come to get me? Because for my prior appointment, I waited over 2 hours...
I called the Ombudsman office a couple of days later and filed yet another complaint. I followed up 3-4 times since and their excuse is that they are waiting for the Department supervisors to respond...the very same people that caused me to wait 4 hours for 2 appointments

Very unorganized, I was revered here from a dr. At duke from my home state of north carolina. I am here now for the 2nd time, and each time I have an appointment it has to be rescheduled. When you are on hold with the facility (Phone wise, as in trying to book your appointment) they are proud to tell you over the greeting that people come from near and...
