Dude behind the counter this morning, I think his name was shawn. Smelled like straight up [censored]! I was holding my breath it was that bad. I could smell him from across the counter (5' or so)
I even smelled the funk as I walked through the door. And you could smell it in the air in the entire store.
Hopefully this will fall on managements ears and you all can instruct this young fella how to put on deodorant. But I doubt that will happen.
racial profiling
I went to the circle k on edgewood this a. M to get a 79 cent drink and scratch the person in front of me was a young white girl who purchased a red bull and black n mild the cashier ryan did not I. D her at all then when i was next in line i asked for a scratch off and he asked for my I. D remind you the young white girl in line who looked way younger than me was not I. D and i asked him why he did not I. D her he said that she looked over 18 which was a lie. I come i this store everyday because I get a drink every day before work they know me there by name and to have him I. D me and not her when she was sold tobacco and all i wanted was scratch off is racists to me and ashley knows me very well due to every time I get scratch off she always wish me luck but today she acted as if she did not know me if you look at the cameras you will see I am always in thr getting 79 cent drink and sctracth off without a I. D
I'm sorry if you feel like you were racially profiled. Unfortunately this is not something you can prove. While you may feel that the white individual looked younger than you, that is a subjective opinion.
Boo Hoo! Everyone is racist! I am so sick of hearing that crap.Maybe You look young. Take it a s a compliment! Im 34 and i got ID'd by a black girl at Win Dixie. I didn't cry racism. Get over yourself. Stop saying everything is racist. No one listens any more. You all have cried wolf one to many times.
management
I frequently go to the same store in Phoenix. Yesturday one of the lovely women that woks there passed away in the store. I am appalled by the fact that you guys care more about making money than human kindness and made the store stay open and make the employees ( who were definitely distraught ) wor after, not only losing a dear coworker but being witness to it! Shame on you!
This is absolutely ridiculous. Regardless of employee circumstances, retailers almost always stay open. As far as you know, 90% of the employees may have not even known this person, or they may need a paycheck over the opportunity to attend a funeral. Unless you work for the company, your opinion is invalid.
lack of employees
On Jan. 4, 2017, around 11:00 pm, I stopped on my way home from work at the Circle K located on the Corner of 36th St. and Oak. The only person working was kind enough to unlock the door so I could quickly make my purchase. When I asked her if she was okay, she explained to me that she was needing to use the ladies room now for the half hour, however because customers kept coming she couldn't. She had tears in her eyes when I asked her where a second person was, and she told me how she never has anyone with her at night.
Shame on you all! First off that is a pretty rough area, to leave a woman there late in the evening like that shows how little you care about your employees safety. Second for a human being to be expected to wait until whenever to use the restroom to the point of that person being in obvious pain for having to hold it for so long is deplorable.
If that poor young woman ends up with a UTI or worse a kidney infection because she has no one to relieve her for 5 minutes, you all best be prepared to pay her Dr. bill. It is a medical fact that woman should not hold off using the restroom especially not to that point as it will cause medical issues.
I will continue my business at that store, simply because the service I receive there is ALWAYS GREAT!
I will expect to see a change in staffing at night or I will be making my complaint go to the top, and I wont stop until it does. This is in no way meant to be a threat I assure you, this is a promise.
We do not live in a third world country, therefore you treating your employees like they are not important needs to stop. If not for the cashier you all would not be receiving a paycheck.
Think about that the next time your check hits the bank.
cashier and her attitude, mouth, and lack of serving customers
This is in reference to the circle k in lafayette, la. Located at 3003 kaliste saloom rd. I live in the apartment complex directly behind this store (Emberwood)... And for 10 years I have been getting my morning coffee there. (I'm a retired teacher and sub quite often and need my "jumpstart" on those mornings on the way to work) I am a daily customer, but no longer will be... Neither will my son, his wife, 4 neighbors (That I know of)... As long as this one particular cashier/clerk works there. I am so sorry I cannot give you her name, I don't know it... But I can tell you her description, and when she works... She is young (20's?) very petite, female, medium-complexion, african-american, always, always, always wearing a hoodie pulled down over her head (And partially her face). She works in the early morning hours and hasn't been there too, too long. I have documented 12 times... Yes, 12 times, that I have gone in there at very different hours (Purposely) to see if coffee is available... Very, very few times on her shift is the coffee ready or full... I have had to take it home, more than once, and microwave what remnants were in the pot! The last straw was last week, when I went in (Around 8 am) and saw 3 0f the 4 coffee "spouts" covered with "temporarily unavailable" signs... So I settled for a kind I really don't care for... And when I pulled the handle, exactly 4 drops came out!... So, as usual, once again, I said "no coffee, again?"... Her reply was "i'm very busy" (There were 2 people in the store)... I saw a man walk out in disgust, saying he'd never go back. Then... When I asked her when there would be some ready, she said "you'll just have to wait. Mam"... I could not believe my ears! I have never, ever been talked to like that! Then a couple days later, my son and his wife came over early and had stopped there to get coffee also (Unaware of my hassle)... They walked in my house, in disbelief and told me they just heard this same cashier "talkin" on her cell (Which is every time i've been in there) , using the most vulgar language in front of customers while checking them out... Here is part of the loud conversation:... "he's lyin'! He ain't never f****d me! If he thinks he's getting some of this p***y, he got another thing comin'... They walked out... No coffee that day either. Circle k is losing customers left and right because of this one girl. She is always in the back and takes forever to come to the register. You should have cameras and audio on her when it's her shift, so you can see for yourself!... Even the valero down the road says they have heard complaints almost daily when customers continually go there for their coffee. I am so very disappointed in circle k, and as long as she's there, will not go back
marlboro red box
I purchased a carton of Marlboro red 100s in the box. When I opened them they we're stale. I looked at the packs and the plastic on the Marlboro was melted with holes. That was all the money I had.they asked me for a receipt but I didn't get one. I've been smoking Marlboro for 30 years never had this problem.

It is possible that this is a one-time issue. You should contact the store directly.
towing vehicles
On the 1st of January my wife broke down outside your Golf Links and Pantano location in Tucson. She pushed the van into a space. She informed the staff what happened and told them I would be in on the 2nd. I spoke to a gentleman at about 7am on the second and told him I could not move it right away, but would get it but no later than today because I work nights. He said he would inform the manager. He did not.
I showed up today, as promised to tow the van only to find out it has been towed by a over priced vulture towing company and impounded.
So despite following through on what I said I would do, I now have to come up with an absurd amount of money to get back a van that doesn't even run and it's because of your company's unfriendly policies and lack of communication between store staff.
Circle K has already been falling in the eyes of most Tucsonans, especially with the arrival of QT. Your company, with this one incident, has ENSURED that I will go MILES out of my way just to avoid your business. I will also be telling every person I meet, for the rest of my days, just how horrible Circle K is and what other, better options are available in any given area.
The employees violated a verbal commitment to allow you time to move the vehicle in question. Super shady, and questionably legal.
After seeing what you experienced I too will be certain to never utilize this company's services again, and will encourage my circles to do the same, as well as to divest any currently owned holdings in the company.
service / sexual harassment
I went into a store near downtown in Belmont nh on Rt 106. There was an older blond lady who's flirting made me feel uncomfortable especially when she mentioned something about my penis. When I walked in she was complaining about someone and usind the F word a lot. I will not be going back to that location as long as she still works there. My four year old nice was with me too.
manager rude treatment
The manager Dawnann Parsley was very rude . Told me that I wasn't allowed back in the store because I put hot chocolate into a different cup that wouldn't be so hot to carry. Does she have the right to tell me that circle k doesn't need my business anymore and to not come back in the store for such a petty reason ? I wasn't stealing or was rude towards her in anyway. I feel like someone like that doesn't deserve to have a position of a manager.
attitude of cashier
This is the second time your cashier has been downright rude and insulting regarding asking for an id to ourchase alcohol and making inappropriate jokes. I have no problem showing my id to buy alcohol but the rude jokes and attitude that go along with it are not ok. We live right doen the road and frequent your gas station but will no longer be purchasing anything at all from this location.
store manager
I was in this store a few days ago and an the cashier had a seizure and had to be rushed to the hospital. A few days later I heard the manager saying that if the cashier did not report back to work by the end of the week she was firing her. This manager is very rude to the customers as well as her cashiers. Do she not know that it is a lawsuit to threaten and fire an associate while out on medical leave.
customer service
The name on my receipt is "m, Allison". This is the lady who was "taking care" of me in ththe gas station. She was not helpful when I asked her about a gifcard. She said "yall are driving me crazy Im sick I wanna go smoke" she said "this is why teenagers shouldn't drive" she yelled at me when I went to the wrong pump. (She put it on the wrong pump) she was very rude and not helpful at all. She should be fired and I hope she reads this.
gas pump service
Sttoppes 12/22/2016 at store on Hamburg Pk I. Jeffersonville. Of the three gas pumps, 2 to a pump only 3 of the 6 were working. There were two young ladies sitting at o e listen to the radio a d putting on make up, they weren't there for gas. I complained to the manager and he said that it's Circle K policy not to say anything to them for 15min. Because if this they had several drive offs. Think your policy needs to change. Cary Dyson
gas
On 12/20/2016 I received bad gas from this location. I had to have my vehicle towed to a dealership. After further testing and checking they discovered it was the gas. I have an estimate from the dealership and I have my receipt when I purchased the gas. I need this handled asap. If not I'll be contacting the CEO Geoffrey Hazel C or CFO Kathy Cunnington
theft/robbery of a customer by a female circle k employee.
Good morning.
To whom this may concern.
On december 17, 2016. At 9:27 pm. Cst, I entered the local circle k # : 2708185 : located at; 6976 jewella rd. Shreveport, louisiana. 71108.
After which, I walked to the back freezer area and grabbed two 24 oz. Buds then approached register: 2.
When asked, I expressed to the attendant named; (J. Ashleigh). A very light completed, african american - adult female, about 5. Ft 5 in. Tall, shoulder length black hair, large round eyes. That I would like [2-berry & 2-wood-tipped blk mld jazz. I reached in my sock to get a $20.00 bill and handed it to her. However, I decided to use my visa card to make the purchase. She opened her register, then closed it, gave me my receipt, but kept my $20.00 bucks. She told me that if I have a problem with her, I could call circle k corporate office or return in the morning and talk to the store manager. She also, would not give me a contact phone number to do so.
I returned the next morning, spoke to another female employee who said she would review the security camera, she got my contact info; but never called me. Later that afternoon, 12-18-2016. I called this store and spoke with a male employee who claimed to be a circle k store manager named: rodrick. He asked me how (J. Asleigh) looked and what time the robbery occurred. I gave him the above details, then expressed that I did not appreciate the highly stressful, life-threatening, position his employee put me under so close to the holidays. I am disabled, on high blood pressure medications and have kids who needed that money for school. Well, rodrick, never called me back either. I have been trying to reach; cir. K corporate office all morning. It's currently;12-19-2016. 12:05 pm. Cst and my next step toward conflict resolution is; file a police report, local-bbb and finally letting the world know how dangerous and desperate the working class in shreveport, louisiana has become, with post like this.
Travelers, beware.

told not to come in the store.
Me and my boyfriend went to the circle k located in Tucson Arizona off La Cholla blvd and Ruthroff we got out of the truck went to open the doors of the store just to go in a get a fountain drink. As soon as we opened the door we were told we couldnt come in that he was helping the last customers and then he was closing the store for 10 to 15 minutes to stock cigarettes. So he could get them stocked and have no interruptions this isnt the first time this has happened to us either. Very rude to come in to get a drink and be told we cant enter a store so they can stock cigarettes that are behind the counter where they stand.
employee behavior
Store in bossier city la. Has a second and third shift employee who has white earbuds in both ears while waiting on customers and is really disconnected from what he is paid to do..this is a real disregard for what an employee is paid to do on company time. This needs to be addressed. Next time I see it I'm going to use my body cam video and put it on YouTube and link face book to it. This is not how you get return customers . No one needs to repeat there purchase twice. Cashier was a black male on Wednesday [protected] pm ish address 2000 block of Airline road. At shed road.
cashiers
Yes, hello. I am filing a complaint about your circle K/shell station located on Reason Ferry Road Missouri. The staff was horrifyingly rude and crude.
I sent my fiance inside with a bag of change to pay for our gas (I was running low on dollar bills - I'm sure you understand the struggle before pay day) he went in with exactly $5.60 that we had counted out the night before. He came back to the car with a $1.16 in the bag. And he was a little bit shocked, he told me as follows, The clerk had told him she could not accept anymore pennies from him and shoved the change at him she also said that if he could not afford to put gas in his car he shouldn't be driving. Now I don't know how you feel about this, but I was thoroughly agitated by this behavior. I marched myself inside and politely asked the woman why she could not accept the remaining $1.16. She looked at her manager and then back at me and she said she couldn't fit anymore change in the automatic changer and didn't want anymore pennies in her drawer. I reminded her that pennies spend just as well as dollars and I counted the $1.16 back to her. She was extremely huffy and grabbed the change and even attempted to give me back 2 pennies which were stuck together, which I quickly pulled apart and gave back to her. The manager even gave me extremely angry looks and even asked me to move aside out of the way of "paying customers"
This experience was appalling. And I'm not going to lie it was embarrassing for both me and my fiance, why should we be discriminated for not having paper money - tines are rough for us right now. To refuse us as paying customers when we had done nothing wrong was sad, maybe they were just having a bad day? I don't know. I do know I was also a gas station clerk not too long ago. I get how aggravating it can be to get large amounts of change, but I don't know what my customer has gone thru...this might even be the very last of their change and I respect the fact that the decided to spend it at my station... I do not know their names because none of them were wearing name tags. But this incident occurred on 12/16/16 between the times of 11:00 a.m and 12:30 p.m.
Thank you for your time, Paige Shocklee
service
I went to circle k to get nachos and instead of putting my cheese on top of chips I put it in a tray on the side so my chips wouldn't get soggy she then proceeds to tell me I have to pay for extra cheese when I didn't get "extra cheese" she was very rude and nasty I will never stop at another circle k and I will continue to blast the company untill something is done.
customer service
On 12/15/16, i drove to the Circle K just off I-65 at Arthur St in Louisville. I asked the cashier if i could get a new 'rewards' card; she replied they'were out' & didnt offer any additional suggestions or help. I presented a coupon for the cigarettes i was purchasing, which had an expiration date of 12/27/16. She replied "this is old"...thats it. Not only did she charge me full price but she threw my coupon in the trash can behind the counter. Considering the late hour, i left without making a scene. This is the worst display of customer service I've experienced in some time & it is the last time i give my business to a Circle K.
Pathetic.
