I was considering applying for a job as a manager, but I was informed by previous employees how the managers treated the employees there. They gossip and complain about employees to employees that work there work there. The managers don’t seem to be qualified to be managers to a team. I understand they use the mob mentality and turn employees against each other. Creating a hostile work environment often leading employees no other option, but to quit. It was understood to me. The managers are hired without leadership skills or training if they had training, they would know that this behavior is unacceptable. The employee turnover rate is high. Inappropriate behavior by managers is left on jet. I chose not to apply because it’s an embarrassment. The comments I’ve heard said to previous employees are subject for harassment, and I choose not to be part of that. Corporate needs to investigate and clean house for their business to become more successful with better ratings. Employees with good management are happy to come to work.
Desired outcome: Leadership and management training for the managers with no qualifications to lead. Repercussions for bullying employees and gossiping creating a hostile work environment with an enormous turnover rate.
