I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the missing items from my luggage during my flight on February 03, 2026, aboard aircraft CZ3077 with e-ticket#[protected], which travelled from Auckland to Manila.
Upon my arrival to Manila, I discovered that one of my pieces of luggage was missing. Your staff collected all pertinent information from me, including the contents of the missing luggage. Among the significant items that I reported were set of gold earrings, a necklace and PHP 5,000.
After several days, my luggage was delivered; however upon inspection in the presence of the delivery personnel, I found out that the aforementioned items were not all accounted for. Specifically, I discovered that only PHP 3,000 was present, and my gold earrings were missing.
I contacted the customer service department of China Airlines in Manila to express my concerns. Regrettably, the representative did not acknowledge the severity of my issue. Instead, she insisted that the luggage I received weighed 15.96kg (opposed to the expected 16kg) and stated that this discrepancy was due to rounding, implying that no items were lost. Furthermore, she suggested that I contact Singapore Airlines to investigate the matter, as my luggage has been transferred in Singapore.
I am disappointed with the lack of support and resolution provided by your team regarding this incident. I kindly request your immediate attention to this matter and would appreciate your guidance on how to proceed.
