I would give zero stars if I could.
I placed on order for a very expensive bottle of bourbon on November 26, 2023. Today is December 9th and it still hasn’t shipped even though it is in-stock. I need this no later than December 15th but it’s doubtful I will receive this in-time to give as a gift the only day I’ll be with the recipient. When I inquired, Customer Service sent me a copy of their return policy stating they have 30 days to fulfill an order before I’m eligible for a refund. What if that’s not my policy as the customer? My policy is all -in-stock items are to ship the first business day after the order is received. Clearly Cask Cartel doesn’t care about customer satisfaction or repeat business. I wish I saw all of these negative reviews before I made a purchase from them and I’m happy to add to them.

Do not shop with CaskCartel! In my experience, they behave like liars and cheats. I ordered a product and paid for it. Less than one week later, I recieved email update that the product was not available from their normal retailer. They gave me three options: 1) Pay another $45 dollars to purchase the same product from another retailer. 2) Purchase a different product. 3) Keep waiting to see if they can find the original product. I had to call them to demand a fourth option: full refund. After doing so, I was put on hold and given the run around. This is a terrible business model based on the Bait-and-Switch. I'm still waiting to hear back about getting my refund.
I do not understand the bad ratings. I have never had a problem with this company. I order tequila from them often and always get it timely
I placed an order on December 13. My credit card was charged the next day. To date the order has never been delivered. I was provided lots of incorrect information and was not believed when I brought it to their attention. After weeks of ignoring me, their "customer service" decided the way to resolve their failure to provide my order was to change me $60.00 more. Cask Cartel's customer service consists of talking about customer service but not providing any customer service. They should be ashamed.
Today is January 17, 2022. On December 10, I placed two orders, both for the same item but to be delivered to two different places as Christmas gifts. I was told that the orders had been "been accepted by a local licensed authorized retailer partner for processing & fulfillment" on the date of order (12/10).
I contacted this company multiple times to determine when the items were expected to arrive to my friends. I was never provided with concrete information on the status of the order.
Re: ORDER ending in ; on 1/6/2022 I was told that the local retailer had "recently received shipment of the item and currently still working on getting all of their shipments including this order over to our carrier." This is in direct contradiction to the 12/10 email that I received indicating that a retailer had accepted the order. Certainly, Cask Cartel had not partnered with a local retailer who would not even have access to the item that I purchased until one month later! This order delivered on 1/13/2022.

My multiple requests for updates have been met with generic replies without any substantive answers about the status of the order.

I accidentally purchased a grossly overpriced botte from this site. I tried to cancel within 5 minutes but they said no chance. I waited past 30 days from ordering and never received notice of shipment. I wrote them 32 days after ordering to request a refund that according to their policy i was then eligible for. Instead they wrote the supplier and forced the supplier to make the shipment 32 days after I had ordered and then said sorry no refunds ...corruption , didn't think businesses could get away with this in USA but I looked at their reviews and it seems they do this all the time to people.

Cask Cartel is the worst. Do not buy anything from this outfit. They do not stock any of what they advertise. They are a middle man and have no product available. Anything you purchase from these crooks is farmed out to whoever they can find to fill the order and then it gets shipped. I placed an order on 12/4 for Christmas gifts and just found out two days ago it was finally fulfilled and will be delivered on January 12th. Read their disclaimer thoroughly as it is how they are able to take your money with no refund and then give you the run around on your order. I'm giving them one star because it is the only option available. What they deserve is a negative ten stars.

This company charges prices that are over 900% the going rate. Bought a bottle of Bourbon for a Christmas present not knowing it wasn't a rare brand and paid $325 for a $30 bottle. Called immediately to cancel order once I found out it was a scam and they refused. It really is a corrupt company and should not be allowed to do business. Then they told me I could return but would have to pay an additional 35% restocking fee plus shipping! Why are they allowed to be in business.
I got a promotional email from them near Christmas. I wanted to get my husband a special bottle of whiskey and noticed one on the promotional ad that looked right up his alley. Like an idiot, I didn't check to see if I could get it anywhere else because on their site they said that "other smaller shops will claim to have it, but they don't. Only we do." So I instantly thought I need to get this now before it sells out. I spent over 70 percent the actual price of this "rare" (it really isn't) bottle when I could have driven 5 miles to get it way cheaper. So I emailed them to tell them I found it cheaper and I want to cancel my order - this was within 24 hours of purchase. They said they can't do it. They said, "we are the eBay of liquor on the internet so we have no control over a third party". But, kicker is you can't email the third party like you can in eBay. HOW IS THIS LEGAL?!?!? Any lawyers out there want to take this company on? You would win huge. Don't EVER buy from this company.
Company advertised Christmas specials, I ordered many bottles, knowingly over the market price, so that I could get them all from place in one order. After many calls with operations they finally admitted that they sold me product that they KNEW was out of stock and they would not honor any advertisements made on their website. They threw the upstream suppliers under the bus despite the fact that they KNEW none of the product was in stock. They took my money anyways, and are refusing to do anything about it. I've disputed the charge with my Credit Card company. Stay away from this company. They are charlatans.

They list products as "our tequila, "our vodka" etc. yet they own NO inventory, have no distribution, etc. They have merely wedged themselves in between the customer and the local retailer, eroding margin and not providing any meaningful service. If you order from them, they take no ownership of the order and hide behind their terms of service that note that once you place an order with them, it's up to the nameless and faceless retailers they have in their cartel to fulfill. They claim no control or guarantee of fulfillment, timing, etc. Nonsense. Shop local, don't give these guys your money.
Zero stars. They've held my money and they have no idea when my order will ship( just keep saying they'll contact the retailer) I put the order in 1 month ago. It was for someone's birthday. I do not recommend.
They show that items are in stock and here it is almost a month later and I still haven't received my order. I placed the order from a different company and had it within the week. No refunds so I'm stuck with an extra bottle. Customer service is no help. They just send a pre written response which tells me they do this to everyone. Much better companies out there to order from.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They take your money upon order, they say they ship within 4-10 business days and on the 12th day they create a UPS label but do not ship the product. Their small print states that they have 30 days to fulfill. I've corresponded with customer service twice and have received horrible responses. No willingness to look into problem. Just standard line about "you will receive your order" and they mass produce shipping labels and when my order is ready they will turn it over the UPS. I will never order from here again.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. This company should be out of business. My brother (in the UK) wanted to send me a bottle of gin for my birthday. He picked out a bottle, which is hugely overpriced on this site, and paid for shipping. That was a month ago! After repeated calls and emails, he was finally given a tracking number a couple of days ago and though it was scheduled for delivery by *** yesterday, it still is not here. I just called customer service and was told that the delivery is "right on track" based on the original order date, as it takes up to 10 business days (i.e. two weeks) to be pulled and packed and then sent out for shipping. What a scam. Please don't do business with this company.

If I could rate them a zero I would. I placed an order in mid September, and after multiple emails back and forth, still no product. In October they told me they could obtain the item through an "out of network" supplier for a surcharge of $15. I agreed since this was for a case of a hard to find rum and was worth it. Today I received an email stating that they have cancelled my order and refunded me, except they did not refund the surcharge. I will of course put this in dispute. But as the others have said, don't order from them. They suck. They have nothing in stock, they lie about what you can buy from them, they make excuses and keep your money as long as possible, and don't refund your full amount. I will make sure to share this with EVERYONE I know.

Ordered a bottle for $120 for a client- I found it for $30 elsewhere but wanted it to show up nicely wrapped and with a gift message as they advertise. They don't tell you until after the purchase that the gift message is a text that's hardly a sentence long. They hide a no cancelation clause in their agreement and refused to refund or work with me even though I called 30 seconds after the purchase when I found out about the gift message. After all that it didn't ship out for 20 days when they assure you 5-10. Customer service isn't allowed to help you in the slightest. I wish I could warn everyone what a money grubbing, horrid company this is.

Placed an order March 7th. Only received part of the order. 6 emails and 2 phone calls later, still don't have the full order and it hasn't been shipped. Today is April 2nd.
1st They said it was the shipper's fault.
2nd They said it would be sent within the week
3rd Over a week goes by, no answer to email.
4th Called and they stated shipper just shipped the item and they emailed me a tracking #
5th 4 days go by, item has still not been received from shipper (according to *** tracking)
6th I tried to cancel order, they refused stating it hasn't been 30 days and it had shipped Monday. How the hell did it ship Monday when the label wasn't created until Tuesday?!?!

This company is a joke. Definitely do not order from them. They have no inventory. It is 2 guys in an apartment giving orders to liquor stores to fill and then they send it to the customer. It took 30 days to complete my order, and it was only after I asked them on the 30th day where my order was that they shipped it. Then when it got to me, it was missing an item and when I told them about it they said that the item was discontinued. I contacted the distillery and they said it was not discontinued as it was there best sell, and to use a different company to order that they work with. 10 emails, 1 phone call, and 30 days after delivery I was refunded my money for the missing item. They wouldn't even make it right with me. I wish I would have looked at these reviews before I ordered because I would have avoided all this mess. I hope other people read these first. Zero stars isn't an option, so 1 star it is.

I ordered a bottle of bourbon as a gift for a friend. I knew that it was overpriced to begin with at ~$240, but it was a gift and I didn't mind. However, instead of sending the bottle that was described on their website, they sent a bottle from a different batch that retails for less than half that price. When I complained, they changed their website so that the description of what I ordered matched the bottle that I was sent and claimed that I was sent what I ordered and they would not refund my money. Only after I showed them multiple screenshots of the original product description did they feel trapped enough to state that they would refund my money. It took them almost 4 weeks to get the return label created and emailed to me. All in all, it took nearly 2 months from the time I ordered the bottle until I got my refund. Normally, I wouldn't have an issue with getting the wrong bottle; these things happen. Except that in this case, they actively attempted to change the website and defraud me. I was fortunate that I decided to take screenshots of the website before requesting the refund, because otherwise I would be stuck with a $90 bottle of bourbon that cost $240...

We ordered 4 whisky's from them at once. Two came within a week, but the other two still have not arrived and we are going on 4 weeks now. When we called on week 2 we were told they were putting the label on the items as we spoke and they would be sent momentarily. When we called on week 3 we were treated like we were an issue to the customer service representative and told they have 30 days before they even have to ship the items. At the end of week 3 I was beyond irritated and called to ask for a refund, again we are treated like we are an issue and told that one of the bottles, literally the easiest one to find but they were meant as a gift/surprise to me from my wife, could not be obtained by their vendor and they were going through another one. I asked for refund and was told no and that if they refunded anything it would be for 35% restocking fee. How can you restock something you don't have I asked. That's their policy they say. So then we receive an email shortly after saying the bottle that was being obtained through another vendor will cost $70 more to get. We luckily went through a CC to buy these, asked the CC company for a refund which they did and the CC company is pursuing the refund from Cask Cartel. Wish I had checked the reviews first. Do NOT recommend Cask Cartel (their name is very telling). They do NOT own any inventory, they are merely middle men only, with ZERO inventory but their advertising and website would have you believe otherwise. I knew they were high priced, and they are indeed extremely high priced... but sometimes when you want something bad enough you just suck it up and go for it. After waiting more than 2 weeks to hear anything about my order which was puzzling because the order page had said "in stock" at the time of ordering, I looked it up to discover to my horror they had switched the bottle I ordered to something similar but much much less valuable version. The order still said "unfulfilled" however, so I immediately contacted them and told them to correct the order back to what I actually ordered or cancel the order immediately. 10 hours later at like 8pm in the evening, a shipping label was created for the order but it had not shipped. I called them immediately and told them I had requested this canceled before the order was even "fulfilled" and I was told ...too late they already made a shipping label... very deliberate attempt to lock me into something I didn't order. Despite the label being created the product still didn't ship for two days . I tried repeatedly to stop the order before it was shipped and they stonewalled me. They did tell me they would restock (before it was shipped) for $150...what a JOKE. They know they changed the order and they know they could have stopped it. I even agreed to buy something else but they still wanted the "$150 restocking fee". Lesson learned! Check those reviews first!

Whatever you find on this website can be purchased elsewhere for less, though you may need to hunt for it a bit. Check out their cancellation / return policy...scary stuff when a company is threatening you with prosecution and investigation before you even order! Poor Customer Service and High Prices: My Experience with Cask Cartel
I messed up and ordered the wrong thing from Cask Cartel (caskcartel.com). I realized my mistake right away and tried to cancel my order, but the person I talked to, Skilyn, was not very helpful. They didn't seem to care about my satisfaction and just pointed to the fine print in their purchase agreement. It was pretty disrespectful, if you ask me.
And to make matters worse, their prices are way too high compared to other online retailers. I mean, come on, who wants to pay more than they have to? Not me, that's for sure.
Another thing that bothers me is that they give you 30 days to receive your order. That might be fine for some people, but if you're ordering something for a holiday or special occasion, you don't want to take any chances. I wouldn't trust them for anything like that.
Overall, I don't think Cask Cartel is a very credible group. I regret trying to order from them and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Mixed Experience with Cask Cartel: Great First Purchase, Disappointing Last Order
My first time buying from Cask Cartel was a real good experience. I was happy with my purchase and I plan to keep using them. But, I gotta say, my last order was a bit of a letdown. They used a distributor in Florida instead of sending it straight from the distillery in NC. I mean, come on, NC is closer to Maryland where I wanted it to go. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my cousin, you know, something special. When I ordered for myself in Georgia for Thanksgiving, it came quick as a wink. So, I figured it would be the same for my cousin's gift. But, nope, it got to my Aunt's house after he had already left. That's a bummer, man. Luckily, he'll be back in the spring, but we missed out on a special occasion.
Disappointing Experience with Cask Cartel: No Cancellation or Refund Policy
So, I gotta say, I had a bit of a rough time with Cask Cartel. I placed an order for a gift for my buddy, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. But then, after I was already charged for the order, I got an email saying that they couldn't fulfill it at the price I had requested. I was pretty bummed, but I figured I could just cancel and get a refund.
Well, that's when things got even more frustrating. Cask Cartel has a no cancellation or refund policy, which I didn't realize until I tried to cancel. I mean, come on, who has a policy like that these days? It just seems like bad business to me.
Anyway, I ended up not taking them up on their offer to buy the same product at a higher price, because I just didn't want to pay more than I had originally planned. Plus, now the gift wouldn't arrive on time, which was a bummer.
Overall, I have to say that the people at Cask Cartel seemed fine, but their policies just didn't work for me. I'll probably take my business elsewhere in the future.

I gotta say, my experience with Cask Cartel wasn't the best. I ordered a bottle and when it arrived, it was all messed up. Like, the bottle was damaged and the seal was broken and there was only like 3/4 of the liquid left. I was pretty bummed out, you know? I mean, I paid good money for this thing and it was all messed up. So I took some pictures and sent them to Cask Cartel, thinking they would help me out. But nope. They said something about "route" denying the claim and they couldn't do anything about it. I talked to a bunch of different people and nobody wanted to take responsibility. Like, what kind of customer service is that? Michelle, who I guess is an assistant manager, straight up told me that if "route" doesn't pay, I'm out of luck. Can you believe that? I mean, I don't even know who "route" is.

What a bunch of baloney! I'm so frustrated with this whole situation. And to top it off, they charged me $80 for a bottle of liquor that I only paid $25 for somewhere else. That's just not right. On September 2, I placed an online order the caskcartel.com. The order entailed a bottle of Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2010 Single Malt Scotch Whisky at $109.99 and a Bonus gift, free of charge. With shipping, Order # *** totaled $129.48 US . By Sept 29th, 2020 this order had yet to arrive. I contacted CaskCartel and spoke with Angela. She stated the package was on its way. According to the tracking the outsourced delivery service, GIO, the claim the made "Attempted Delivery" on Sept 29, Oct 8, Oct 15, now Oct 19. Due to the COVID Pandemic, I have been at home all the above dates. No package or notification came at all. I contacted CaskCartel by phone and was told the package did not yet return to vendor (though I requested cancellations of order Oct. 8, 2020. I feel I am entitled to a full refund to my CreditCard account without a delivery failure charge. This company is a scam. I hope Florida DAs looks into the disreputable company. I also noticed the many complaint other consumer have against CaskCartel.

The same day i sent email to customer service of Cask Cartel reporting missing item. I dint receive any answer and December 1st i repeated email. I was asked to provide information for 1. Confirm what products that you received in good condition without any issues. (Please list them all) 2. Confirm what products were either incorrect, damaged or missing so we can quickly resolve this issue. 3. Please provide the date you took possession or delivery of your order/package. and i provided this information. December 2nd i was asked to provide "images of the content of the packaging, label outside the box, and foam molding" which i can't provide as i do not collect trash at home forever. Additionaly i do not see any sense of these incoming reqests as i am reporting missing item not a damaged one. And for that one i can't provide photo.

Dec 1, 2021. Placed an order for alcohol to be delivered within two weeks. It is January 3, 2022 and the order has not arrived. I sent several emails asking the status of the order. At one point, they offered me the order if I would pay another $100+ dollars. This is FRAUD. I asked for a refund, they said no. When I sent another email today, the package will suddenly arrive at the agreed price tomorrow. I am longer at the said address as I was only there for the holidays. What a coincidence.
On Dec 3rd 2021, I placed an order for 3 bottles of rum for $159.35. After several complaints and questions on when my order was going to be delivered, finally on Jan 3rd the business admitted they didn't have the product! They then told me on Jan 5th, that they needed 'management approval' to refund my money. I have seen many similar complaints about this behavior from this company (I wish I had seen them before ordering from them) and have zero confidence they will do that and believe they will just hope I forget and keep my money. CaskCartel Support says, "I have spoken to the retailer directly who has informed me that there have been some technical complications on the part of ***, but they are in the process of getting the issue resolved and I'm expected to receive an update on that by the end of today or possibly Monday. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. The order will be fulfilled. I assure you of that! I apologize for your experience so far." As of this writing, I have had no further input from Support. I have lost faith that I will ever receive my order and I have lost $114.45. They were quick to charge my credit card but not deliver my order.

Caskcastel.com sends advertising email daily with no capability to "unsubscribe" from these emails via *** I keep replying to the emails and telling them to unsubscribe our email account to no avail. We did not ask for these emails,...we do not like the emails.,...the emails are harassing in nature,...and they add no value to my life. My TEN YEAR OLD niece purchased a $120 bottle of wine and the company is refusing to refund. Again a literal child purchased this and they are saying they can't refund because there is a button where you click yes or no saying you're 21 without any verification needed. A 10 year old got ahold of my phone and made the purchase. PARENTS BEWARE THEY WILL SELL ALCOHOL TO YOUR CHILDREN.

We placed an order on the 1st of Jan. 2022. for 3 bottles of liquor that are hard to find in stores around us. We initially spent 310$ on our order as was the price listed for the items we wanted. Then 5 days after we placed our order they said they could only complete our order if we paid an upcharge of 110$ because they had to source the product from somewhere else. They did not give us the option for a refund. Only an option for a credit on their website or pay the upcharge. Some of our purchase are gifts so we decided to go ahead and pay the extra 110$. I did notice on their website it says that if a product is out of stock or discontinued then a refund will be issued. This entire time I have been calling and emailing trying to figure out where our order is. Their customer service has not been helpful and they have said on the phone they will contact the distributor and email me back with an answer, which they never did. We received 1 bottle of rum yesterday on the 18th. Which is a third of our order. My wife and I are getting tired of contacting their customer service to get an answer and getting nowhere with them. Ordered something from them almost a month ago. They won't tell me where it is, or when it will be here. Emailed them multiple times, and if the decide to answer me, they give me an extremely vague answer. They took my money for a product that I believe they have no intention of shipping to me.
I mistakenly placed an order for an incorrect product, and after immediately recognizing it, I requested to cancel shortly after placing it. With no concern for my satisfaction, a rep, named Skilyn, disrespectfully and defiantly refused to consider my request. In contrast of a reputable merchant, Skilyn pointed to the fine print in their purchase agreement like a 'got ya'. Plus, their allowance is 30 days to receive a product after placing an order, so Cask Cartel should not be trusted for any holiday orders. This is not a credible group and is an outlier of all other merchant policies, especially in the current environment.

We ordered a bottle of Still River Rhubarb Old Tom Gin (500 ml x1 bottle) for $114.99, plus a charge for "Route Package Protection x1 for $3.55, plus shipping of $30.38 (thus with a grand total of $148.92 USD) from carskcartel.com. The order number is***, and the order was made on 12/13, and we received a confirmation email on the same day. After not receiving shipping information we sent a reply on 12/22. They stated that there were delays but that the bottle would be shipped within 4-10 business days of the transaction. There was still no reply by 1/2/2022, so my husband sent an email requesting shipping information or a refund, and also called and left a message after getting a voicemail message saying they were closed for the holiday. On 1/3/2022 my husband called again around 12:00 pm EST and still got the same reply. On 1/3/2022 in the afternoon, we received an email giving us 3 options (please see the attached) to resolve the problem. Their options involve giving them more money, waiting for an undetermined amount of time for delivery, or getting a credit and not receiving the bottle we ordered for my parents 33rd anniversary. The reviews that we have read on Google indicate this tactic has not resulted in shipment of orders for people and they have been out of their money. Just looking for help with either the delivery of the item or a refund (not a store credit because we wonder if this is a scam). Thank you very much!

I ordered a product off their website. They shipped me the wrong item. I want my whole refund back. I have ordered a bottle of Johnnie walker Blue Label King George V off of cask cartels website. They had it on their website for $799.99. I ordered it back in December 23rd of 2020. The total amount came to after tax and shipping $832.01. So I waited for my order to come in and it came in in January 15th. I opened the box and saw that it was the wrong item. They gave me another kind of the Johnnie Walker King George V. It was the edition when the Johnnie walker and company collaborated with the sons. So I contacted Cask Cartel and I spoke with a customer representative named Jabree. That person was helpful to help get my correct item. Then I got a email back from her after emails back and forth of what is going on and she tells me that the item I ordered was correct. So I did my research and found out that they did in fact give me the wrong item. I even contacted the Johnnie Walker company and told them the same thing and they said that they gave me the wrong item. So now I asked for a refund. I got a new email from a Taylor person. This person told me that their logistics team said that this is the correct item and that the company can at times change their labels. So I relied back saying that it wasn't the right item. I told them the same thing about contacting Johnnie Walker. So now they emailed me back saying that they will give me the refund back in 3-5 business days but are charging me a 35% restocking fee for their mistake. So I would like your help by getting my full amount back of $832.01. Please and thank you.

Item ordered December 1. Still no item or tracking provided as of January 6. Little to no correspondence with the company. On December 1 I purchased a bottle of expensive Bourbon for my boss. Plenty of time to arrive before the holidays. I still have not received the item, or any tracking information as of today (January 6). I have reached out to them countless times. Via e-mail,*** messenger, commenting on*** posts, and ***. I have received a few emails back, all of which are very generic. They always say the same thing, "shipping delays" and "we will look into it and let you know", etc. One email that I received back on December 23rd said that my bottle had arrived and it was being shipped out. Obviously that has been nearly 2 weeks and I have received no tracking information on said shipment. I have emailed them 2-3 times after that, inquiring, and am being told that they're looking into it and will follow up. No follow up. No product. But yet, I still have the $128 charge on my credit card. But hey- they "attached" a printable card to an email to pass alone to the individual I bought the bourbon for. Which was just a slap in the face. This place is completely fraudulent and is seemingly taking customers' money with nothing sent to the customers. This isn't an uncommon complaint with them. They are not upfront about anything in regards to your order. I held up my end of the bargain. I paid for my item. Yet, they have yet to hold up their end. I just want the Bourbon now, or my money back so I can purchase it elsewhere. It's already embarrassing enough that I've told my boss that his gift is delayed beyond delayed.

On January 7th, 2022 I received the following email " CaskCartel.com INVOICE #DXXXXX Complete your purchase Hello, Thank you for placing your order with Cask Cartel. We truly apologize for the delay. Our in-network retailer that we sent your order to for fulfillment, did not receive their shipment of Glenfiddich 19 Year Old Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky - Age of Discovery. We have a couple of ways that we would like to resolve this for you. Option 1: We have contacted an out-of-network retailer and they have this item in stock; however, they are charging more for this product and it would cost you an additional $100.00. If you would like this option, please click the link below to make the payment. Option 2: If not, we will continue trying to source this bottle from other out of network vendors but a delay in fulfillment may occur. Option 3: You can use this credit towards another similarly priced product available on our website, and we will do our best to expedite that fulfillment for you. This company refuses to cancel your order unless you are willing to place another order. I recently placed an order online (Order #XXXXXXXXXXXX) with CaskCartel and soon after realized that I ordered the wrong product. I immediately contacted the company via their website and requested that the order simply be cancelled. At that time I had not received an order confirmation or any tracking information regarding my order. Their customer service team replied with the following response: In order for me to be able to submit your current order to be canceled and refunded, we will need you to place a new order for the correct item. As soon as you are able to do this, kindly provide us with the new order number and then we will be able to submit your current order to be canceled and refunded as long as it has not shipped. To me this seems as though the company is holding the customer hostage once they place an order. For some reason, they are only "able" to cancel your order if you place another order, and even then, only if it has not shipped from their supplier. When asking if my order has shipped, they would not confirm that the order has shipped and would not provide me with any information as to when or where my order was going to ship from. In addition, they have already billed my credit card for the order and are not willing or able to provide any information as to when I will receive my products. This feels as though this company simply takes your money and then provides no customer service beyond that point. At this point I am questioning whether I will ever get my order delivered. Not the best customer service practices and I question whether a company can legally charge you for a product and then not provide you with any information as to when or if you will ever receive the products purchased.

I ordered a bottle of premium vodka for a special occasion on 9/24. I received a package on 10/19. Upon opening the package, I realized the bottle they sent me was not the requested bottle, but a bottle that looked similar but was significantly less expensive then the one I ordered and was charged for. I sent Cask cartel an email with pictures of what I ordered vs. what I received. I also called them. While talking on the phone, I was told this was a distributor problem, and not something they had control over. When I asked if the distributor would be asked about this, I was told that was not something they could do. (I felt like they may have been trying to send me a similar cheaper bottle, hoping I would not notice). Regardless if this was intentional or an honest mistake, I was told they would send me a return label. I thanked them and let them know I no longer would need the original bottle ordered, and that I would return the wrong one that was sent and they could cancel my order and issue a refund. I received a response saying "I will direct the retailer to go ahead and submit your order for managerial review for a refund". I did not hear back from them, for several weeks, so I called them and asked why I had not received a refund. I was informed that the shipment was on the way. I let them know I had told them in writing I did not need or want the shipment and would like a refund. They said they would call the distributor, and that if I received it, just refuse shipment and pay a 35% restocking fee. I let them know this made no sense, as I had told them to cancel after the sent me the wrong bottle. They said they would look into it. On 11/15 a box is on my doorstep (no signature needed, just as it was with the first one). I called them very upset, and asked to return item for full refund. They responded that is not the cancellation policy.
