Platinum ionic laundry purifier
I purchased Laundry Purifier Acct #2117878. The item I bought, unfortunately, did not work as advertised and caused discoloration to some of my clothes. Carico representative provided advise on what to do (check this, check that). There directions didn't work. Initially I stop paying this account due to the fact the purifier didn't work. However because of the attack on my credit, I paid the account off and requested Carico remove any/all negative remarks. Simple solution to suing for damages.
Claimed loss: Reimbursement for the Purifier3 pair paints6 shortsdamages to my credit
Desired outcome: Remove negative marks or account from my credit. If Carico would have address my needs and concerns with this Purifier I would not have withheld payment. Reimbursement for the purifier, or credit to another item.

False advertising & shoddy materials
Shady business. They market water filters for health and use unsafe materials. I have the countertop water filter and the inside of the faucet has aluminium coating which has degraded and started peeling! Whatever material underneath is rusting. Why would you sell something meant to purify that's made of shoddy, unsafe materials? It should be stainless steel! If I had known, I would never have gotten it or used it. After passing through the filter, water touched the flaking aluminium and rust... Terrible. this makes me question the water filter as well. How could I trust what they say and the materials they use? Stay away!
Desired outcome: Refund and stop with false promises of safe drinking water. Use all 100% stainless steel parts.
merchandise, marketing, sales recruiting
Carico is a cleverly structured marketing organization. Its purpose is to generate income through the selling of overpriced utensils for the home. Large numbers of online posts complain about their mediocre goods and phony lifetime guarantee. In addition, people who answer Carico's recruiting ads are asked to provide "work references" which the company then uses as sales leads. Recruits are seen as nothing more than potential customers: They are not interviewed nor even told about the company or job. Instead, they are made to sit through a motivational pitch devoid of any real content. In the end, Carico hopes to convince the recruit to pay a fee for marketing materials, then join their pyramid scheme. Thus, many people complain about the smarmy way their recruiting process is done. Keep in mind, some of their veteran sales staff do indeed make a lot of money, but such income is based on manager percentage-- the higher the manager is ranked on the pyramid, the more of a percentage he or she receives from each product sold. To support this percentage system, the products are absurdly overpriced. In other words, Carico’s pyrimid scheme has to sell poorly made items at high prices. Some online posters report Carico's pans falling apart within weeks of purchase and pressure cookers blowing up. When customers try to collect on the “lifetime warranty, ” Cairco ignores their calls or gives them the run-around. Cairo representatives typically try to wear down the customer and sales recruit with cheesy sales jargon about "nice things, " "top quality, " and "unlimited income." Don't fall for it!

Carico International - false advertising
I was looking for a water filter and my wife’s father said his friend sells water filters. I contacted Mario Ricca and had a long conversation about what I was looking for. I was very specific about what I wanted...I said I wanted all impurities removed including fluoride and from my research the only unit that can accomplish that is a Reverse Osmosi...

The scam all starts at some type of bridal show, usually at the Signature Grand on State Road 84. You fill out forms to "win" trips to the Bahamas, Orlando, etc. So the next day you get a phone call stating you have won! The trip is yours, all you have to do is attend a simple meeting...the whole thing is a trick. It turns out every single person who enters the phony contest "wins" a trip. So you drive to this place by an American flag on a pole, is to the seemingly empty building and speak to some spanish woman named Christine. Her husband Peter will have you sit down and wait as all of the "winners" walk in to claim their prizes as well. This meeting will be a 3 hour long sales pitch full of lies and out of context health dangers warning that you need to buy their pots, pans, air purifiers, water filters, china, cutlery, etc. to maintain your health. At the end of this pitch they tell you these items are $3, 600 but of course you get $1, 000 off, so you only pay $2, 600 for 6 pots, a sauce pan, some knives, and a juicer. The payment plan is over a 9 YEAR period where you only pay 25 dollars a month. He talks about how normally pots and pans from expensive stores like Williams & Sonoma or Neiman Marcus would cost $12, 000...has he never heard of Wal-Mart, Target, or QVC where you can buy a whole box of pans for $80? During the pitch, Peter will show you all these ridiculous things he claims his pots will do for your food...food will never stick, you never need oil to cook just an ice cube, you will have less fat, save money, easy to clean, there suction lids, thermometers, and blah blah blah...I felt like a victim of gypsies in the old days where they show you their cart of junk and try to trick you into buying it. The catch to the "free trips" they promised is that airfare isn't included, almost all dates are taken and you must use the trip in a year or else its no good. Well, when you call to try and book the trip, they tell you that there are no available dates for a year. That of course means there is no free trip, It's all a lie to try and get you to come in. If you buy things and tell your friends, they give you money off in the fashion of a pyramid scheme. Peter also claims the company has been in business for hundreds of years, and the pots he uses to cook with are 40 years old...what a joke. There are motivational posters on the wall trying to make sure the salesmen never forget what there goal is, money. There is a "Dream Board" where the bosses have pictures of BMW's and other luxurious items they want to finance with all of your money they steal. Even the music piped through the room is full of subliminal messages, all bizarre songs about "living the dream" and "buying yourself what you deserve". The lyrics were all trying to convince you to buy things...the whole experience is incredibly misleading and disturbing. You leave with 4 less hours of your time, and if you fall for their tricks, thousands of dollars poorer. That is unless you open their credit card they offer you also...

Carico International - scam
I ordered an item from this company while on vacation. My cousin was a distributor and informed me that I had 30 days to return the item.
