They broke our outdoor lamp and agreed to fix and replace all matching lamps, but only replaced one
They broke our outdoor lamp and agreed to fix and replace all matching lamps, but only replaced one. The install tech broke another lamp and said he would replace it with a matching lamp or buy four new lamps to match the remaining external lamps and replace them. However, the tech did not inform the business, and we had to contact the sales rep after several weeks of trying to reach the business through email, website, and phone. After weeks of negotiation, the owner agreed to replace all four lamps, but only installed one. The tech lied and said he couldn't finish the job because he had another task, after a previously scheduled no call/no show for the same task. We threatened to contact the ComplaintsBoard.com, and the owner called up and lied, claiming this was the original deal. We contacted another installer to complete the incomplete repairs to our home. The owner agreed to pay an additional 100 for the repairs, leaving us to eat the last 98 dollars, claiming we were taking advantage of the situation. This was after months of tracking him down and brow beating him to follow through with his tech's promises and then holding them to a higher standard, which he claimed was difficult to meet due to COVID and several other excuses.

The job was only worth $*** but my mom is now in debt for $1***. They only painted 2,421 square feet with Tex-Cote, which costs $0.97 per square foot. They didn't finish the job and left tape on fixtures and metal boxes. They also painted areas that shouldn't have been painted. They didn't fill in cracks and didn't trench in dirt areas. The salesman promised lower energy bills and a lifetime guarantee, but Tex-Cote's website says savings could be as low as 4%. The salesman also claimed they would seal all the cracks, but they didn't. They advertised as a ComplaintsBoard.com member, but they weren't approved on February 22.
