Bloomex flowers
I ordered a bouquet of flowers from this company, who is based out of Calgary Alberta, on December 21, 2022 for my sister in law, whose mother had just passed away. Apparently, the flowers were delivered from Vancouver BC to Vernon BC. When the arrived the base of the flowers had frost on them and because of that, they all wilted the next day. I contacted the company and all they were willing to do was give me a discount off my next purchase. There is no way I would order flowers from them again. I want my money refunded but they will not comply with my request. They are a large company and have had over 1,000 complaints about their products and return policies.
Desired outcome: Please refund my money
Herald delivery!
My delivery is inconsistent! When I do receive it, it's often wet, or I have to look around the yard, because the delivery person missed the step. Once I discovered a paper, that I thought not delivered, on the ground after the snow melted. This week it's now been 3 days without. I tried calling, but can't get through.
The quality of the Herald has gone from a 10 to a 3. I also used to love the puzzle page, not so much now.
I realize it was taken over by some other company, which explains the deterioration of the quality.
Desired outcome: Accountability. Better delivery. Someone local to take my calls, not a call centre in another country that doesn't give a damm.
poor delivery service
no paper again ,, on Tuesday ,November 9 ,2022 if the Herald doesn't want to publish a printed paper why don't they just say so and force everyone to go online, which is probable what they really want . It is worse that it seems very diffficult to notify the Herald which makes me think no one really cares.
I have to say filing a complaint is so onerous it accentuates the problem and again shows how little you care about your subscribers.
Delivery of the paper
My mother is to be receiving the paper every Saturday at her Long Term Care Home at Cambridge Manor, 253 Smith St. NW, Calgary T3B 6K1. I received a call from the care home saying she has not received the paper for the last few weeks. This paper is very important to her. It is to be left at the main reception desk with her name on it.
Her payments are direct debit from her bank account and you are never late with taking out your payment so I expect her service would be the same.
Please let me know what the issue is and how it will be resolved ASAP.
Thank You
Desired outcome: Issue to be resolved and her paper delivered every Saturday
Paper not in mailbox as requested . For past month the paper has been left on step NOT IN THE BOX, many times it has been wet
For over 30 years my paper was put into my mailbox where it remained easily retrieved. For the last couple of weeks it has been thrown on or near our front stoop. Only once was it put into the mailbox. (I think he/she had run out of elastic bands to wrap it up.)
Desired outcome: Put paper in mailbox,
Calgary Herald
daily delivery of my Calgary Herald
Obviously, I have a new carrier who seems to be too lazy to get out of his car
My paper is left in the middle of my driveway about half the distance from the road
Outcome:
1. when I get a snowstorm, my paper is covered.
2. they come & remove the snow which also removes my paper
3. I have found, when snow melts a couple of papers in the middle of my lawn
If this doesn't soon get corrected, I will be forced to cancel my subscription since I am not receiving all my newspapers
I have had excellent carrier service with my paper at my door for many years until now.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate an immediate response and have this problem solved. I do enjoy reading my newspaper each and every morning.
Worst home delivery and customer service from any company
Repeated poor home delivery service ranging from missing newspapers or wet newspapers from snow and rain instead of being placed in newspaper box. Customer service only provides lip service by providing credit for the one damaged or undelivered newpaper and not resolving anything else with continued bad service. When requesting elevation to higher management for some action or resolution, we never receive any followup. Company management does not seem to case about poor service, not sure if the Calgary Herald is planning on bankruptcy or insolvency in the near term. Perhaps Canadian newspapers are encouraging existing customers to switch to online editions of US newspapers.
Desired outcome: Proper home delivery of undamaged local city newspaper as per prepaid terms, especially when subscription was fully prepaid for future 6 months for daily delivery.
Not removing post and box for herald
Jan 1/21 calgary herald stopped delivery in my area due to "low readership". However, they did not remove the herald box and the post it is attached to. I have requested the removal of it every month with no result. Each time I was told my request would be escalated to the department to remove it... Nothing.
Can you please remove this, now, unsightly box and post?
My address (and where the box and post are) is: [protected] st. East., foothils, ab t1s 3y6
My phone number is: [protected]
Thanks,
Anna beale
Desired outcome: removal of box and post
Very poor customer service
So it happened this morning. No paper delivery. Its happened before I call and they send me my paper. No Problem .. But today was a whole lot different. I called at 7am to complain about no delivery, no problem we will have a copy there by 7:30.. So at 9:30 I called and talked to the customer service department and she explained that they were sorry and that a copy would be there in about 2 hours.. At 1:45 this afternoon I called again to inquire about the newspaper delivery.. this is what gets me.. The customer service rep explained that because its late afternoon they can't do a thing about it, so even after I explained the previous 2 calls that I made she sounded like a broken record there is nothing we can do about it you will have to just put up with it... GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE...
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
With the Calgary Herald we pay our subscription fee in advance which is the norm for any newspaper or magazine. The with this particular paper it becomes a game of hit and miss. Somedays you get your paper somedays not. You call them you get the usual bureaucratic excuses. They admit to having problems which they hope you will understand and promise to fix things. A refund is promised but you will have to earn it by submitting a request and by continuing to call them whenever there is no delivery. Recently this has been the case at least once a week. These people have no idea of the meaning of the word "service". Some say that printed newspapers will soon be a thing of the past. In the case of the Calgary Herald it seems they are anxious to reach the finish line.
withdrawal of extra money without permission
I agreed to support a promotional deal with a University student that approached my home. She was selling a promotional deal through the Calgary Herald that provided me with three months of the newspaper for 37.20. I agreed to this promotion only and agreed that I would call by the deadline of October 19th, 2008 to cancel the subscription. Unfortunately, I had made a mistake and provided a banking cheque for my closed account. So, understandably, they called to make an inquiry. I provided a customer representative my correct banking information and made resolution to my mistake. Anyhow, after checking my account, I discovered that the Calgary Herald actually took 75.00 without my permission. I called to complain and instead of getting this resolved, the newspaper was no longer delived. I did a follow up call, only to find that the have sent out an amount of 45.00. Now, such a large and prestigious business is scamming people out of their hard earned money and they can not even resolve complaints from their own mistakes. I take this as a business issue because I had numersou calls at the beginning about the money not b eing able to be retrieved, letters to me complaining about the problem and all along it was resolved. They had actually taken more money than I gave permission by this contract. A written contract and somehow the customer is the victim? I am still trying to resolve this issue and merely get my money back and I never want to subscribe to this newspaper again. What a horrible experience!
In the last week I have noticed a big change on the comics page. I am not seeing the comics I usually enjoy. What has changed? Why?
They did the same thing to me!
