star advertiser dont refund subscriber for missed delivery. their unfair practice is to extend the subscription one day for every issue missed. i still pay the full monthly fee regardless of how many actual papers are delivered. the customer does not get compensated for missed delivery until the subscription is canceled. in other words, once i dont want the paper anymore and cancel my subscription, the star advertiser will compensate me by extending a subscription i no longer want. in the past 36 years of uninterrupted subscribing to the paper over a full year of issues have not been delivered on time. i have not received one cent in refund. how can this be legal?

I ain't been gettin' my paper for a whole week now. I been callin' every day and they keep tellin' me it's comin' in the next hour, but it never does. Now they don't even answer the dang phone. I called 'em at 6 in the mornin' when they just opened and still no answer. I been on hold for almost 40 minutes waitin' for someone to pick up. If I use the robot callin' system, I can complain just fine, but they don't wanna hear about a paper that ain't been delivered for more than a day. They just send me to an agent who won't pick up the phone for like 45 minutes or not at all. I'm done callin' customer service 'cause it's like I'm payin' for nothin'.

I neva look at my cc statements fo long time but wen I wen check dis month, I wen see da over charge. I wen go back fo few months and see dat I wen pay $11.95 all da way tru 2020, den da price wen change in Jan and Feb 2021 ($12.43), den from March , da price wen go up to $18.93. I wen tell dem fo give me back da money dey wen over charge me cuz dey neva tell me da rates wen go up and I neva agree to da price change. I wen also say I like fo cancel my subscription cuz I no like pay $18.93. Dey wen tell me dey no go give me back my money cuz dey "normally" send email and da price I pay still way less den da real price. Dey wen also no like prorate and cancel till 7/8.
