Mags Review: Frustrating Experience with Mags.com's Subscription Cancellation Process

I recently had an experience with Mags (mags.com) that left me feeling frustrated and annoyed. I attempted to cancel my subscriptions through their website, but unfortunately, the website was not functioning properly. Every time I clicked on the billing and subscription section, I was met with an error message. It seemed like the website was conveniently not working, which was a major inconvenience for me.

After realizing that I couldn't cancel my subscriptions online, I had to resort to calling their customer service line. Unfortunately, the automated phone system was difficult to navigate and I found myself getting more and more frustrated as I tried to cancel my subscriptions.

One of the most frustrating parts of the experience was the fact that I had to decline multiple prompts to keep subscribing for each subscription. The prompts were worded in a confusing manner, making it difficult to understand what I was agreeing to. It felt like they were intentionally trying to make it harder for me to unsubscribe, which is not a good look for any company.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Mags. It's frustrating when companies make it difficult for customers to cancel their subscriptions, especially when it feels like they're doing it to boost their revenue. I hope that they can improve their cancellation process in the future to make it easier and more straightforward for their customers.

Mags Beware of Unexpected Charges: My Experience with Mags.com

So, I was browsing the internet for some cool magazines to read and stumbled upon Mags (mags.com). I decided to give it a try and ordered a few magazines for a few bucks. It was just before the pandemic started, and I was excited to have some reading material to pass the time.

Fast forward 1 1/2 years later, and I noticed three charges on my PayPal account that totaled $70 within a week of each other. I was shocked because I didn't order anything, and I did not check a box that said to keep billing me when I ordered the "just pay shipping" first round. I immediately contacted PayPal to dispute the charges, but they dismissed my case, saying it was consistent with my purchases.

I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone else thinking about the "free" magazine offer. Be careful because you might end up with unexpected charges on your account. I have emailed Mags several times, but I have not received a response. It's frustrating because I didn't sign up for any subscriptions, and I don't want to keep receiving magazines that I didn't order.

If you did order the "free" ones and don't want to keep receiving them, make sure you cancel auto payments from SynapseConnect. It's essential to be vigilant and keep track of your subscriptions to avoid any unwanted charges.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Mags. The initial offer seemed too good to be true, and it turned out to be just that. I hope this review helps others avoid the same situation.

Mags Scam Alert: My Terrible Experience with Mags Magazine Subscription Service

I recently joined Mags when I signed up for the Millionaires Club at Books A Million. They promised me two free months for three magazines, which sounded like a great deal. However, my experience with Mags quickly turned sour.

Just before the two-month trial period was up, I was told by the cashier that Mags would send out two emails asking if I wanted to continue with the subscription. But before I even received the first email, I was charged $82 by Mags. I was shocked and immediately contacted customer service, but they claimed there was "no history of a charge" on their end.

I went back and forth with customer service, but they were unhelpful and unresponsive. It was a frustrating experience, and I eventually had to refute the charge with my bank and order a new card. It was a hassle that I didn't need, and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Overall, I would not recommend Mags to anyone. Their free magazine offer is a complete scam, and their customer service is terrible. If you're looking for a reliable magazine subscription service, look elsewhere.

Mags Avoid Mags.com: Scammers with Poor Customer Service and Transparency

Mags.com is a company that has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. Many people have reported that they are scammers and that they should be avoided at all costs. It is not clear why any company would still partner with them to fulfill their promotional magazine subscription offers. Mags.com and Magazineoutlet.com are part of the Synapse Connect group, which has been successfully sued by customers for failing to adequately disclose terms of renewal or notify customers of pending renewals.

Despite being sued and found at fault, this company will automatically renew these promotional subscriptions at prices well over the market rate, without notifying the customer. This is a clear violation of customer trust and is unacceptable. Customer service is also not helpful in this regard, as they will deflect requests to cancel and insist that the company will have to get back in touch with the customer to complete the cancellation. This is a clear indication that they are not interested in providing good customer service.

Another issue with Mags.com is that their customer service refuses to share its terms and conditions with the customer. This is a clear indication that they are not interested in being transparent with their customers and that they are hiding something. This is not a good sign for any company, and it is a clear indication that they are not interested in providing good customer service.

In conclusion, Mags.com is a company that should be avoided at all costs. They have a history of scamming customers and violating their trust. Their customer service is not helpful, and they are not interested in being transparent with their customers. If you are looking for a reliable magazine subscription service, then you should look elsewhere.

Mags Mags Cancelled ALL My Magazine Subscriptions - Bait and Switch Tactic?

I gotta say, I was pretty upset when I tried to log into my Mags account and it said I didn't have one. I've been a loyal customer for years, so I knew something was up. I reached out to them via email to figure out what was going on, but what happened next was a total shocker. They cancelled ALL of my magazine subscriptions! Can you believe it? I was so frustrated, I spent hours on chat and on the phone trying to get it sorted out. But they kept telling me that there was no way to reverse it. They even tried to blame me, saying that I cancelled the magazines myself!

Honestly, I think this is just a bait and switch tactic. They offered me these magazines for a super low price of $2 each per year, and now they're cancelling them after only a couple of months. It just doesn't make sense. And to top it all off, it seems like anytime someone contacts them because they've been locked out of their account, they just cancel the magazines. That's not fair to the customers who have been loyal to them for years.

Overall, I'm really disappointed with Mags. I thought they were a reputable company, but now I'm not so sure. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Mags Beware of Mags.com: A Scam Disguised as a Gift

This website called Mags (mags.com) is a real rip-off, if you ask me. Big companies try to make it seem like they're giving you a present, but really they're just getting paid to promote these magazines. And let me tell you, this "gift" comes with a cost. You won't even realize it until a whole year later when you check your bank statements. They hope you won't notice, and that's how they keep most of their "customers."

If you do happen to catch the charges, good luck trying to figure out who to contact about all these surprise lifetime automatic renewal magazine subscriptions. It's like they don't want you to cancel! They hide behind all kinds of fine print BS, making it nearly impossible to get out of the subscription.

I don't think this kind of thing should be allowed, but I guess scammers are gonna scam. It's just not fair to the average person who thinks they're getting a nice gift, only to be tricked into paying for something they didn't even want. So, be careful out there and don't fall for these sneaky tactics.

Mags Amazing Magazine Subscription Deal - Get Up to 4 Subscriptions for $0-$2 Each!

So, I was shopping at this store (I think it was Buckle, but don't quote me on that) and they offered me a sweet deal - I could choose up to four magazine subscriptions for anywhere from six to twelve months, and the cost was between zero and two dollars! Of course, I had to give them my credit card info, but they were upfront about it being an introductory rate and that I would be charged if I didn't cancel before the subscription ended.

I made sure to mark the expiration dates on my calendar so I wouldn't forget to cancel, but I did slip up and forgot about one of them. I was charged $45, but when I called to complain, they refunded me automatically. So that was cool.

But here's the really awesome part - when I went to cancel the other subscriptions, each one had a little message that said "wait, renew now for a special $2.00 rate." So not only did I get over 50 magazines in the past year (which would have cost me at least $300 if I bought them at the drugstore), but I can also renew them and keep getting them for just two bucks each! That's insane!

All you have to do is create an account on mags.com, keep track of your renewal dates, and cancel whenever you want. It's seriously the best deal ever. I mean, who doesn't love getting a bunch of magazines in the mail? And for such a low price? It's a no-brainer.

Mags Unleashing the Power of Creativity: A Review of 'The War of Art' by Steven Pressfield

Mags.com got ahold of my PayPal from when I made the mistake of buying subscriptions from them through my frequent flyer miles program: Since then, they charged me small sums three times last year and now suddenly four larger sums (around 20-25 a crack), all without permission, all set up as "automatic payments". Be cautious. I never agreed to ongoing subscriptions with them and yet every 'free magazine' I've got from frequent flyer has been that without my knowing. They're thieves. Am undergoing PayPal dispute and have cancelled them all by hand but this is a warning. I did NOT buy any ongoing service with them. Each was supposed to be a one-time shot for a set number of magazines. I had to go to their own site, create and account to see my 'subscriptions' and cancel each by hand. They try to con you into sticking with it and coming back later to cancel in order to get all you paid for, or you can just throw money away on the new amount they just charged you and cancel now. Just not right.

Mags Beware of Mags.com: Sneaky Tactics and Lack of Transparency in Magazine Subscription Renewals

I recently had an experience with Mags.com that left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. I had originally purchased 4 magazine subscriptions from "Healthcare Alliance" for a great price of only $2 each. However, a year later, I was shocked to see charges ranging from $22 to $32 for each subscription from Mags.com, MyLife, and 4YourHealth Brands, all under the guise of magcustomerservice.com.

What made matters worse was that they billed each magazine on separate days, making it difficult to detect the charges. They also used multiple company names, making it nearly impossible to compare to the original subscription purchase. To top it off, there was absolutely no notification before the renewal date or warning of the amount they would charge.

After the first renewal for Car and Driver at $22, I immediately called to cancel, complain, and ensure that I was removed from their system. However, the very next day, I was charged $32 for Wine Spectator. I called again to complain, but had to register online to get proof that all of my subscriptions were cancelled.

To view the subscriptions online, they required me to register a new account with a long list of fine print that allowed them to use and share my personal data, including tracking my browser activity and online purchases. It was clear that they knew exactly what they were doing with multiple layers of grifting.

Overall, I would not recommend Mags.com to anyone. Their lack of transparency and sneaky tactics left a bad taste in my mouth. It's important to be cautious when purchasing subscriptions online and to always read the fine print.

Mags Frustrating Experience with Mags.com: Complicated Cancellation Process and Confusing Customer Service

I recently signed up for a deal on Mags.com that offered four different magazine subscriptions. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to read them and decided to cancel my subscriptions. I tried to cancel them online several times, but they still charged me four different times on PayPal. It was a complicated process to appeal these charges.

When I tried to call Mags.com, I was met with a bot that only wanted a landline, which I don't have. Then it asked me for my name in a subscription, but it couldn't find anything. I eventually ignored it and just kept pressing zero until I reached a person. They agreed to cancel my subscriptions, but I had to explain that I had already been trying to cancel them. The representative started to confuse me with a lot of double speak about re-ordering and canceling, and offering different options that I didn't want. I just wanted to cancel my subscriptions and get my money back. Eventually, the representative said that the credit would be for $54, which was about a week after the renewal. I pointed out that the most they could send would be 1/12, but they were holding back a third of the money. The representative continued to give me doublespeak, so I just gave up and decided to deal with it through PayPal.

Overall, my experience with Mags.com was frustrating. The cancellation process was complicated, and the customer service representative was confusing. I hope that they can improve their cancellation process and customer service in the future.

Mags Unresolved Payment Issues and Poor Customer Service with Mags.com

So, I've been having some issues with Mags.com. They've been taking money out of my account for a magazine that I haven't even gotten yet. I've been trying to get in touch with customer service for a while now, but I haven't had any luck. I just want to cancel these payments, but it seems like it's impossible. Mags Scam Alert: My Terrible Experience with Mags.com - Don't Fall for It!

So, I saw that I was charged for like 2 years on Mags.com. I was like, "What the heck?" So, I called them up right away. They told me that they sent the mags to my old address. I was like, "Come on, man!" They said they would fix it and cancel the charges, but they never did. Then, I got charged again and I was like, "This is ridiculous!" So, I called them up again and they said they would fix it. But, I only got a partial refund for the last charge. I mean, seriously, this is a huge scam. Don't waste your time or money on Mags.com.

Mags earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%

Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.

Mags has received positive review on our site. This is a good sign and indicates a safe and reliable experience for customers who choose to work with the company.

A long registered date for mags.com can be seen as a positive aspect for Mags as it indicates a commitment to maintaining the website and its domain name for a long period of time. It also suggests that the company is organized and has taken steps to secure its online presence.

The age of Mags's domain suggests that they have had sufficient time to establish a reputation as a reliable source of information and services. This can provide reassurance to potential customers seeking quality products or services.

Mags.com has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.

Mags.com has been deemed safe to visit, as it is protected by a cloud-based cybersecurity solution that uses the Domain Name System (DNS) to help protect networks from online threats.

We looked up Mags and found that the website is receiving a high amount of traffic. This could be a sign of a popular and trustworthy website, but it is still important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of the site before sharing any personal or financial information

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:

  • While Mags has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 0% of 10 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
  • Mags protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.

Mags Mags.com Review: Are Their "Free" Magazines Really Worth It?

So, I came across Mags.com and thought, "Hey, free magazines? Sign me up!" But, as it turns out, nothing in life is truly free. They do offer free magazines, but there's a catch. They charge a processing fee of a few dollars for each magazine. It's not a huge amount, but it's still something to keep in mind.

After the free one year subscription, they try to auto-renew your subscription at a cost of $30-$40 each. That's a pretty steep price for a magazine subscription, in my opinion. And, to make matters worse, canceling your subscription is a bit of a hassle. You have to go through an automated voice system that tries to convince you to keep your subscription by implying that you'll get more free issues if you continue.

Overall, I'm not too impressed with Mags.com. While the idea of free magazines is enticing, the added fees and difficult cancellation process make it not worth it in the end. If you're looking for a magazine subscription, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Mags Beware of Accidental Cancellations: My Experience with Mags.com

So, I was looking for some good magazines to read and stumbled upon Mags (mags.com). I found a cheap promotional subscription offer after completing a survey, which I thought was a great deal. However, I made a mistake and accidentally hit the Unsubscribe button while checking my subscription status. To my surprise, my subscription was immediately cancelled without any confirmation message. I was really disappointed and frustrated with this experience.

I reached out to their customer support team to see if they could help me reverse the cancellation, but unfortunately, they said there was no way to do so. This was a huge letdown for me, as I was really looking forward to reading those magazines. I wish they had a better system in place to prevent accidental cancellations like this.

Overall, my experience with Mags was not great. While their subscription offers may seem tempting, be careful when navigating their website to avoid any accidental cancellations. And if you do run into any issues, don't expect much help from their customer support team.

Mags Disappointing Experience with Mags Magazine Subscription Service

So, I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with Mags. I signed up for some magazines and waited and waited, but they never showed up. I mean, I get that sometimes things get delayed, but 2-3 months is a long time to wait for something you paid for, you know? And when I tried to cancel my subscription, it was like they didn't even know who I was. I mean, come on, how hard can it be to find my account?

But that's not even the worst part. A whole year after I signed up, Amazon charged me for another month of magazines. Like, what the heck? I hadn't even received a full year's worth of magazines yet, and they were already trying to charge me again. It was ridiculous.

Luckily, I was able to cancel my subscription through Amazon, but I couldn't do it through the merchant. I mean, what kind of company can't even handle their own cancellations? It was a mess, and I wouldn't recommend Mags to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and go with a different magazine subscription service.

Mags Mags.com Free Trial Fail: Only Received One Magazine

So, I got this offer for a free trial on Mags.com when I bought something at a store. They said I could pick three magazines and get one issue of each every month for two months. Sounded pretty cool to me, so I signed up.

But guess what? I only got one magazine the whole time. That's it. Just one. I was pretty bummed out about it, to be honest. I mean, what's the point of offering a free trial if you're not going to follow through on it?

Anyway, they said they wouldn't charge me once the trial was up, but I'm not so sure about that. I'm worried they'll try to sneak in some extra charges or something. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Mags.com. It's just not worth the hassle. There are plenty of other places to get magazines from that won't let you down like this.

Mags Cautionary Tale: My Experience with Mags.com Customer Service

So, I had a bit of a rough experience with Mags.com. I had subscribed to one of their magazines, but it never seemed to arrive. When I reached out to their customer service, I was met with a "live" agent who didn't seem to understand my issue. They claimed that I had cancelled my subscription, which I definitely had not. It was frustrating to feel like I was talking to a bot instead of a real person.

In the end, I lost the little bit of money I had paid for the subscription. It's not a huge loss, but it's still disappointing. I just want to warn others to be cautious when dealing with Mags.com. Maybe it was just a one-time issue, but I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I did.

Of course, there will always be people who fall for scams or have bad experiences with companies. It's just a fact of life. But if you're considering subscribing to a magazine through Mags.com, I would advise you to proceed with caution. Maybe do some research first and see if other customers have had similar issues.

Overall, I'm not thrilled with my experience with Mags.com. But hey, that's life. Sometimes things don't work out the way we want them to.

Mags Terrible Customer Service and Delayed Delivery: My Experience with Mags.com

So, I went for the low subscription on Mags.com. They told me it would be here in 4-10 weeks. But, it's been 10 weeks now and they are saying that it's going to take 12 weeks for it to arrive. They are telling me that I can't read the email in front of my face. I mean, come on! There was no notification of a delay, no trying to make it right, no apology. This is just terrible customer service and a low rate company. You gotta beware of this one! I was thinking about renewing my subscription, but I promise you, I am not going to do it with this company.

Mags Beware of Mags.com: Dishonest and Untrustworthy Magazine Subscription Company

Mags.com is a company that offers low rates on magazine subscriptions. However, I had a bad experience with them. They renewed my subscriptions at a higher rate without my permission or informing me. When I called customer service, they promised to cancel all four subscriptions and remove the charges from my PayPal account. The charges were over $90, which is a lot of money. I will be keeping a close eye on them to make sure they follow through with their promise.

I have heard that their parent company is known for this kind of scam, where they lure customers in with low rates and then switch to higher rates without warning. In my opinion, this is not a good way to do business. They should be honest with their customers and not try to trick them into paying more.

Overall, I would not recommend doing business with Mags.com. They seem to be dishonest and untrustworthy. I think they should be held accountable for their actions and not be allowed to continue this kind of behavior. It's not fair to the customers who are just trying to save money on their magazine subscriptions.
