Letgo Mixed Experiences with letgo.com

As someone who has explored letgo.com, I must say that my experience has been quite mixed. While the platform offers a convenient way to buy and sell locally, it falls short in some key areas. The interface can be glitchy and slow, making it almost unusable at times. Additionally, the site seems to be plagued with scammers and lowballers, making genuine transactions challenging. Despite the potential for good deals, the overall user experience is marred by these issues. If you decide to use letgo.com, proceed with caution and be prepared for a less than smooth experience.

You can expect any thing in letgo to happen lands, cars, ships, agencies, busniess, prostitution, their is a big dream I'm not sure what letgo is capable of but you can tell their is effort and the future is hiding a lots of progress so let's go. Letgo Best thing since sliced cheese

I'm not sure about the everyone else, but we normally have a garage sale once a year wasting a weekend at it with people coming to your personal space and wanting items for pretty much free. With letgo I put stuff on there at my own pace and meet them were I choose. I make more per product then I would at any garage sale. I've met some really awesome people and made a few awesome trades also.

All in all I don't waste my weekend with a garage sale and I at least double my profits on this sight with still giving a good deal to buyers. If you have sentimental value to something this is not the site for you hints the name LETGO. Not hold on. Thanks a to guys for all you do. FYI I have no affiliation to letgo!

Letgo Received bad review - Not legit- My daughter waited 20 mins outside for her; I have muscular dystro

This was a case turned backwards on me! I worked as an RN for 32+ yrs as a RN practicing compassion and love; I worked with this ladies schedule and even arranged to meet her diwntiwn as I had a drs appointment around the same time as she got off work. You don't know a drs schedule and I told her that. I explained I MIGHT get off at 10:39-11am but wasn't sure but would call her as soon as I finished -she called me at 11am saying she was ready to go. I sent just my /2 year old down with the trade of item for cash as I am in a motorized chair. I apologized it was taking so long and she said no worries we could hook up at the Pharmacy or elsewhere. I always respond withinin an hour of my calls or texts. This review was unfair. I have screenshots from our conversations. Thanks, Patti

Letgo Works great

I live in vancouver canada. I buy and sell for a living, 20% on facebook and the other 80% is on craigslist. To give an idea where i'm at, i currently have 312 listing on craigslist. There are scammers everywhere, if you can't sniff them out then you should educate yourself before opening doors to them! Anyway i posted 5 items on letgo yesterday morning, got interest on 4 of them and sold 2 by 5pm. I think letgo is the next big thing. I sell on average 2-10 listings a day on craigslist. Those 2-10 sales includes roughly 100 emails (scammers, no shows, asking and never responding again, etc). If i was only trying to sell one thing i'd be pulling my hair out by the time it sold. I look at it like a numbers game. Based on what happened with letgo yesterday, it currently has the majority of my attention. These selling sites are only as good as the people that use them

Letgo I love Let go

Im confused after reading all the horrible reviews below. It must be the location because where I live, I am very successful on Letgo. I sale at least 3 items a week from local people who live within 15 mins. From me. They message me about wanting the item and we agree on a place to meet. I even purchase items and again everything has been fine( so far). Noone is phishing for my info. Noone has agreed to meet then flake, etc. I also sell nice items with great prices. I feel sorry for Letgo because all the bad experiences yall below have had is ruining their business. Smh smh, im still so shocked at what i just read. Maybe yall selling dirty worn out stuff for ridiculous prices? I love Let go it has allowed me to use the side hustle for gas money, lunch for work, shopping for housegoods, cigarettes (lol) and not having to slide out my debit card for everyday purchases.

Letgo Letgo app is the best chat app for buy or sell

Yes definitely the Letgo app is the best app for sell and buy, it is alive, easy, quick, chat, and free. I uses this app during 9 months and i made more than $2000 in this summer, from selling my new and used stuffs.
I put fair price, clear pictures, correct info for my items, I am polite and patient, i do good communication and respect the buyers... some buyers arrange a meet to come and take the item but they don't make and I don't care, but most of them come and buy, then I put good reviews for them, then they put best reviews for me.
Although there are more scammers in this site but in first week in my using this app, I got them know completely and I have never scammed by them.
They ask me my phone # but I don't give them and I tell finish ur talking over here by chat, they ask me my paypal acaunt, but I don't, because I know who is the real buyer and who is clown scammer.
And I can tell %30 of my selling items include s shipping.
Again I am telling Letgo app the best for me, thank
U Letgo team.

Letgo Honesty is the Best Policy

So far the experience has been great, Due to skepticism of both end between buyers and sellers you can feel the tension. Nobody wants to get burnt. There must always be away to protect the users jyst like eBay, Amazon or any other buy here pay here website. It's 2017 and with all the technology and information provided to us I feel it would be more resolving for all. I placed 2 items got chat on them as soon as I clicked the picture. Not bad batting average. Highr demand, new & expensive. I was beyond fair in marketing price and shipping was worked out for out of state buyers. Get back with the final final result still in the making the money ha not hit yet because the tracking number for the itam has not been scanned yet. Both seller & buyer have a confirmation of both monies and products in the final stage now just a release needs to happen for us both. It was a pleasure professional and I'll keep doing it. Like in any business you have your loses but you always need to alerts instincts and senses high.

Letgo Letgo was a completely terrible experience

I'm going to include some detail here, because I think that is necessary in order for people reading this review to get a clear sense of the issues that I have experienced with Letgo. I have some furniture that I need to sell, and was excited to learn about Letgo. I was selling a number of different pieces, which came as a set, but which I did not think I could sell as a set. So I posted each *differentpiece, with photos and descriptions of each, (in other words, there was no way these pieces could be mistaken for each other.) In the text of each post I mentioned that the whole set could be purchased for less than purchasing each item individually.
After putting in a lot of time and effort to include great photos and a complete description of the pieces, I found that someone had almost immediately flagged me for supposedly fraudulent behavior -- apparently they didn't look closely, and decided that I had posted the same item multiple times. Okay, so I changed it to one post for the whole set, with an explanation that the items could also be purchased individually.
And then, having learned that lesson, I proceeded to do the same thing for an office set that I also need to sell, (posted it as one set, rather than offering the individual pieces.)
And finally, I posted a couch. T
Oday, I received a couple of messages from an interested buyer. I replied, but was surprised to see that he was listed as being from New York, so I asked him about that, because I am not able to ship these items.
I mention these specifics, because I don't know what Letgo decided I'd done wrong this time, because they didn't bother to tell me, but the next thing I know, in the middle of this potential sale, without warning or explanation, Letgo apparently deleted my entire account.
I am left guessing as to the reason for this. Based on the fact that there are *twowarnings appended after the potential buyer's responses, warning me to "be careful when exchanging phone/email details", (we hadn't done so), and inviting me to block the potential buyer (why?), I am left guessing that some nasty person must have gone out of their way to flag me, (erroneously, as I never did post any item more than once), or that somehow my question about the general location of the potential buyer somehow broke some obscure rule.
My biggest issue is that I wasn't warned, explanations were not given, and after all the time I put into posting in good faith and with honest and careful detail, Letgo decided to terminate my account in the middle of a potential sale. A potential loss for both me and the buyer.
Really bad policies, Letgo. I am a legit and almost ridiculously rule-abiding poster, and if I could so easily fall afoul of your policies, then I stand as a warning to others.
I wasted more time trying to find answers to what had happened to my account, when I found that my account had apparently been deleted abruptly, (just one day after I posted my items), in part because I couldn't believe this had actually happened. And because I was in the middle of a potential sale.
But in the end, I realized I was just throwing good time after bad -- Letgo is a rotten apple, and after wasting much of my time, I found that it was just sucking up more.
My advice? Don't waste your time with Letgo!

Letgo Unprofessional and Inappropriate: My Letgo Experience with a Potential Buyer

Let me tell you about my experience with Letgo. I was trying to sell an 8 ft. Garden Arch, which is perfect for outdoor weddings or just sprucing up your garden. I got a message from a potential buyer who seemed interested in purchasing the item. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse.

First of all, this buyer was not professional at all. He kept trying to contact me outside of the app, which made me feel uncomfortable. He even asked me out on a date, even though I clearly stated that I had a boyfriend. It was really frustrating and unprofessional.

When we finally agreed on a time to meet, he didn't show up. I tried to contact him through the app, but he didn't respond. It wasn't until hours later that he finally got back to me, saying that he was busy and couldn't make it. He even suggested that his sister could come and purchase the item instead.

But the worst part was when he started sending me inappropriate messages, asking about my clothing size and making comments about my body. It was completely disgusting and disrespectful. I ended up blocking him on the app and changing my phone number, just to be safe.

Overall, I would not recommend using Letgo if you're a professional seller or if you value your privacy. There are too many unprofessional and inappropriate people on the app, and it's just not worth the hassle. I'll be sticking to online selling and shipping from now on.

Letgo Letgo Review: A User-Friendly Platform for Selling Your Stuff Safely and Effectively

I've been using letgo for a couple of years now and I have to say, it's been a bit of a learning curve. At first, I had a tough time dealing with people and figuring out how to sell my items effectively. But after some trial and error, I can confidently say that letgo is a great platform to sell your stuff.

One of the things I love about letgo is how easy it is to use. The app is straightforward and user-friendly, which makes it simple to upload your items and manage your listings. Plus, I've received plenty of messages from all kinds of people - from lowballers to creeps to kids. It can be frustrating at times, but I've learned to weed out the time-wasters and focus on the serious buyers.

Speaking of serious buyers, they're the ones who make the whole process worth it. In my experience, they tend to be nice people who show up on time, communicate well, and know what they're looking for. Of course, you'll have to deal with a few idiots before you find a serious buyer, but that's just part of the game.

One thing to keep in mind when using letgo (or any selling app, really) is that people are going to try to lowball you. It's just the nature of the beast. But that doesn't mean you have to accept their offers. I always set a minimum price for my items and work with people to come to an agreement. Everything is negotiable, but you have to know your worth.

Another important thing to remember is safety. I never give out my phone number and always meet in a public place. It may seem overly cautious, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. And if a buyer isn't cool with that, then I let them go. It's not worth the risk.

Overall, I would definitely recommend letgo to anyone looking to sell their stuff. Just keep in mind the things I mentioned above and you'll be good to go. And who knows - you might even make a few hundred bucks like I did this summer!

Letgo Mixed Results with Letgo: Frustrating Buyers and Scammers, but Easy to Use App

I have been using letgo.com for a few weeks now and have posted around 25 items. I have received a great response from people, but unfortunately, most of them are asking for a lower price or if I am willing to negotiate. It's frustrating when I am asking for $100, and they offer me $5. I have sold a few items, but only at a greatly reduced price. What's even more frustrating is that some people express interest in an item, but then they don't respond back. They ask me to hold onto the item because they don't have the money right now, and then they never get back to me or they block me.

It's hard to rate this site because I'm not sure if it's the buyers or the site itself. People don't seem to have a problem offering a ridiculous number for an item that I am selling for a fair price. I had 16 people interested in one of my items that I was selling for $140, which is selling for as much as $250 on eBay and Amazon. However, the best price I got was $70 from three different buyers who all failed to respond within 48 hours when I eventually agreed.

There are also a lot of scammers on the site who use cashier's checks, money orders, and even personal checks. It's wise not to accept them and only do business by meeting and accepting cash only.

Despite all of these frustrations, the application itself is very easy to use. I wish everyone the best of luck, and I will continue to use letgo with the hopes that things get a little better.

Letgo Mixed Feelings About Letgo: A Review of the Pros and Cons

I've been using Letgo for a while now and I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, I've received a handful of messages about the items I have for sale, but on the other hand, I haven't actually sold anything yet. However, I did buy an item on the site and the transaction went smoothly and the price was fair, so that was a positive experience.

Now, let's talk about the cons of this site. First of all, it's really difficult to post an ad from my iPhone. I would much prefer to use my laptop, but unfortunately, that's not an option. Secondly, you have to scroll up to see all the pictures, which is not very intuitive and some people might not realize that. Thirdly, there's a limit of only 5 pictures per ad, which is not enough to showcase all the details of the item. Fourthly, the ad information is too small to see and you have to click on an oval with "more info" to see the details, which is not very user-friendly. Fifthly, I haven't figured out how to bump my items to the top and it's frustrating. Sixthly, the filters don't seem to work properly, even when I save them. Lastly, when I searched for "dress" in the search box, none of my dresses showed up, even though I put in my location.

Now, let's move on to the pros of this site. Firstly, it shows me how many people have viewed my items, which is helpful. Secondly, there aren't a lot of duplicate posts, which is a relief. Lastly, you can get verified, but I don't have a Facebook account, so that doesn't really help me.

Overall, there are more cons than pros when it comes to Letgo. I really hope that the people who run the site will address these issues and make it a more user-friendly experience. It's frustrating to try to sell items on a site that has so many issues.

Letgo Letgo Review: Disappointing Experience with Inquiries and Account Review

I joined Letgo back in May of 2018, but I didn't actually list anything until April of 2019. The process of listing items was pretty straightforward and easy to follow. I decided to post a few things, including five purses, a pair of shoes, a baseball glove, two framed baby bear pics, and a vintage portable hair dryer. I was excited to see what kind of response I would get.

To my surprise, I received an inquiry about one of the purses on the very first day. The person asked if the price was negotiable, and I responded with one of the suggested responses: "Yes, what's your offer?" Unfortunately, I never heard back from that person, even after sending a follow-up message a week later. I was disappointed, but I figured that maybe they had found something else or weren't interested anymore.

A few days later, I received another inquiry about the baseball glove. The person simply asked if it was still available, and I responded with a quick "yes." Again, I never heard back from them. This made me wonder if these people were actually real buyers or if they were just being rude. It would have been nice if they had at least responded to let me know they weren't interested anymore.

I decided to do some research and found that I wasn't the only one experiencing this problem. Many people on Sitejabber had negative reviews about Letgo, with some mentioning that their accounts were under review for no apparent reason. Others had similar experiences with people expressing interest but then disappearing without a trace.

I was disappointed to see so many negative reviews, and I started to question whether Letgo was even worth my time. About a day after I responded to the baseball glove inquiry, I logged into my account and saw that it was flagged with a "this account is under review" message. I had no idea why my account was being reviewed, and it's still under review to this day.

After reading all of the negative reviews and experiencing some of the same problems myself, I've decided to close my Letgo account. A friend of mine has had success selling on OfferUp, so I might give that a try instead. I don't have a smartphone, but I've heard that it's possible to sell from a computer using an android emulator like Blue Stacks. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience on Letgo and wouldn't recommend it to others.

Letgo Letgo Review: Frustrating User Experience and Daily Harassment from Non-Interested Buyers

I've been using Letgo for about a year now, along with Offer Up, FB Marketplace, and Craigslist. Out of all of them, Letgo is definitely the worst. You're bombarded with questions like "Is this item still available?" and "What condition is it in?" from people who aren't even interested in your item. Letgo requires buyers to hit certain buttons before they can even send a message to the seller, which is just ridiculous. And to make matters worse, the comment bubble is in the lower right corner of the listing, so people accidentally hit it all the time and send these pre-set messages to sellers. It's so frustrating that I'm about to delete the app. I've sent multiple messages to Letgo about this issue, but they haven't responded or done anything about it. It's like they don't care about their users.

Another problem with Letgo is the amount of ads on the app. If you search for a certain item, Letgo will start sending you messages about every item listed that's similar to what you searched for. You have to manually go in and uncheck the item to stop the messages. It's just too much hassle for what it's worth.

I've only sold a couple of things on Letgo, and now it's just not worth the daily harassment from non-interested buyers. I've had much better experiences with Craigslist, EBay, Offer Up, and FB Marketplace. People should know about these issues before they start using Letgo. This is an honest review from someone who's been buying and selling items online for years.

Letgo Navigating Letgo.com: My Experience Selling a Used Car and Dealing with Lowball Offers and Nitpicking Buyers

I recently had an experience with letgo.com that left me feeling a bit frustrated. I was selling my SUV, which was in great condition with new brakes, tires, and even extra tires. The market value was still over $5000, but I was selling it for much less. I made it clear in my ad that the car was being sold uncertified and as is, since it was a used car.

The first person who contacted me was a girl who wanted to pay only $500 and have me get it certified. When I explained that the price was already low and that the car was being sold as is, she accused me of trying to scam her. I was taken aback by her reaction, as it seemed clear to me that she didn't understand how buying a used car works.

The second person who contacted me was a man who said he was a part-time home mechanic. He test drove the car by himself and immediately placed a down payment. He then asked for $300 off so he could get some things fixed, which I agreed to. However, when he came back to check the car again, he started nitpicking and trying to get even more money off. He claimed that the emergency brake didn't work and that the dashboard light was broken, even though I knew these things weren't true.

Overall, I don't have any issues with the letgo app itself. It's a free service, after all. However, I do think that some of the people who use it are looking for a free ride. My sister is also selling a wood sleigh bed for $150, which is well below its value. However, she's been asked to deliver it for a lower price, even though she doesn't have a truck and would have to pay for delivery herself.

In conclusion, while letgo.com can be a useful tool for buying and selling items, it's important to be aware of the people you're dealing with. Some may try to take advantage of you, so it's important to stand your ground and not let them get away with it.

Letgo Letgo Review: Mixed Results, Useless Support, and Frustrating Features

Been using Letgo for a few months now and I gotta say, it's a mixed bag. Sure, I've managed to sell and buy some stuff for decent prices, but most of the time it's just a waste of time. And don't even get me started on their tech support and customer service. Every time I've reached out to them, it's the same canned response telling me to check their FAQ section. I've never even talked to a real person! And even when I specifically ask them to address my issue, they just give me the same old answer. Useless.

Another thing that really grinds my gears is the way they mess with the order of your pictures. You try to set up the most eye-catching one as the first picture, but after your ad posts, it gets moved down a few spots. So instead of showing off the best part of your item, it just shows some stupid little detail. And when I tried to get help with this issue, you guessed it, they just told me to check their FAQ section. Useless again.

But the biggest issue I have with Letgo is their reviews. I've been working hard to earn 5-star reviews and positive comments, but when I go to check my reviews, some of my best ones are just gone! What's up with that? It's like they're just deleting them for no reason.

And let's not forget about the search results. They're just all over the place. You search for something specific and you get a bunch of irrelevant results. It's like they don't even know what you're looking for. And don't even get me started on the automatic listing feature. It just adds to the time you have to waste scrolling through pages of stuff you don't even want.

Overall, Letgo can be useful, but it's definitely not perfect. I usually end up listing my stuff on other apps like Craigslist, which is a whole other can of worms. But hey, at least I get some sales there.

Letgo Letgo Review: Frustrating Policies and Account Deletion in the Middle of a Sale

I'm gonna tell you guys about my experience with Letgo, because I think it's important for you to know what happened to me. I had some furniture that I needed to sell, and I was excited to find out about Letgo. I had a set of furniture that I thought I couldn't sell as a set, so I posted each piece separately with photos and descriptions. I made sure to mention in each post that the whole set could be purchased for less than buying each item individually. But then, someone flagged me for fraudulent behavior, even though the pieces were clearly different. So, I changed it to one post for the whole set with an explanation that the items could also be purchased individually.

I did the same thing for an office set that I needed to sell, and then I posted a couch. Today, I got a message from a potential buyer who was listed as being from New York, so I asked him about it because I couldn't ship the items. But then, without warning or explanation, Letgo deleted my entire account in the middle of a potential sale. I have no idea why they did this, and it's frustrating because I put a lot of time and effort into posting my items in good faith.

I tried to find out what happened to my account, but Letgo didn't give me any answers. They just deleted my account and left me guessing. I think someone must have flagged me erroneously, or maybe my question about the buyer's location broke some obscure rule. But the worst part is that Letgo didn't warn me or explain anything to me. They just terminated my account in the middle of a potential sale.

I'm really frustrated with Letgo's policies. I'm a legit poster, and I follow the rules. If I can fall afoul of their policies so easily, then others can too. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out what happened to my account, and it was all for nothing. Letgo is a rotten apple, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Don't waste your time with Letgo!

Letgo Letgo Review: Good for Selling, But Watch Out for Scams and Annoyances

Let's be real here, I'm not one to easily trust anything or anyone. So, when I read some of the reviews about Letgo, I wasn't surprised. It's not just Letgo, it's any site or app out there. Many Americans lack common sense and good judgement, which makes them easy targets for online scams. If they got scammed on Letgo, chances are it was partly their own fault.

Now, let's talk about Letgo.

The Good:
I've listed dozens of items on Letgo from our garage and attic. We even listed items during our recent tag sale. The app is pretty easy to use. Posting is quick and easy. It's also easy to communicate via messaging in the app. The rating system is a nice idea, but many people haven't rated yet, so it's not all that useful just yet.

We've sold at least a dozen items faster than Craigslist (same item listed both places, same time) and faster than at tag sales. Not too shabby.

The people who complain about lack of cell information aren't the brightest bulbs. Who gives out their phone number unnecessarily? Use common sense.

The Bad:
Developers apparently thought users would be so lazy that they need quick reply buttons with preset phrases and no 2-step process of select and send. They placed these red buttons directly above the keyboard where users can easily accidentally press them. As a result, you'll occasionally send "quick" messages to users which you did not intend to send. And you'll send a couple more messages apologizing for the error... thus rendering these buttons an inconvenient pain in the butt. For large fingered individuals such as myself, this happens often even when taking great care. Those buttons need to go.

Next, categories. Letgo lacks a decent set of categories. Too few and too specific. Consequently, you are forced to put your automotive tools into a stupid unrelated category such as Home & Garden. Was it really that difficult for the developers to visit Craigslist just to see and then recreate its basic but effective list of categories? There is no excuse.

Next, changing ad titles. Apparently someone somewhere in Letgo Land has been authorized to mess with your ad titles. That's right... shortly after you submit your ad, someone at Letgo decides what they want to call your ad... and they edit your ad title without your permission. Often making it too generic to be useful. Fortunately, you have the ability to change the title back to whatever you had previously. It's annoying, Letgo Overlords. Cut the crap.

Next, crappy buyers. Unfortunately, you'll encounter jerks everywhere you go. They exist on Letgo too. We've encountered people who try to bully you into selling. They actually think they can pressure you into taking their lowball offers. They'll also ask questions that had been clearly answered in the ad... because these lazy idiots never read the ads before contacting sellers. Then there are the always-pleasant buyers who ask a thousand questions, expect immediate answers and never follow through. To be fair, this is a problem with Craigslist buyers too.

The Ugly:
It appears Letgo *maybe using fake accounts to generate a false impression of interest in an effort to get people to sell/stay on their app.

It's a tactic straight out of the online dating industry. Fake accounts that interact with users in an attempt to eventually upsell them from free to paid services.

When you wonder why, over the next several months, hundreds of Letgo "users" favorite your items without once inquiring about them, or attempting to make an offer... you'll understand why I believe this might be true. I could be wrong. There could be hundreds of people who simply favorite items that they might like and never follow through with inquiring about them for any number of reasons. Time will tell, but if at some point it is revealed that Letgo used fake accounts to generate interest... you read it here first!

Lastly, the user interface is poorly organized for browsing. Letgo should implement better filtering. Until then, you'll be forced to scroll through hundreds of crappy ads for utterly useless stuff in an attempt to find what you want.

So, that's my initial take. Some good, some not. With a little patience, a little caution, and some common sense, Letgo isn't bad. It's another app to add to your list of apps where you can quickly buy and sell stuff as needed.
