First heard of them doing a google search for a breeder of dachshunds. Apparently they paid google for ad placement and were at the top of every page as well as down into each page. Heavy emphasis on 'they were everywhere' in the ads.
I looked at their ads several times during the process of adopting another dog. I couldn't pull myself to make a purchase. I guess I got weak or lazy looking for weeks and weeks at ads. I found what looked like the perfect puppy on Puppyspot and went ahead and made the plunge. 2 days later, a rude woman phoned me at 7:30 am to 'screen' me. During the screening she was more than rude and didn't seem to care. I finally told her to cancel the deal and refund me after she accused ME of being rude. It was, quite frankly, the other way around.
Then nothing. No cancellation. No refund. The dog listing still showed 'reserved'. I phoned them and explained I had cancelled. The person I spoke to was male with a thick accent. He said the deal was now cancelled and a refund would be forthcoming in 2 to 4 days.
I checked the listing again and sure enough the dog was now available again on their web site.
Nothing but grief, nasty behavior and heartbreak with Puppyspot. Avoid avoid avoid.
