After sending a second email, they eventually asked for a picture of the damaged chain, which I promptly provided. Sadly, I didn't hear anything back from them for quite some time.

Eventually, I reached out to them again, informing them that I just wanted a refund for the item. However, they responded by saying that they had already sent a replacement. The issue with this was that at no point did they clarify whether or not I wanted a replacement or a refund, leaving me feeling unheard and frustrated. Moreover, the original chain was cheap and low quality, so receiving another one was out of the question for me. I informed them of this, and they then proceeded to tell me the only way they would refund was if I refused the item at the door, which given the potential timing of delivery, wasn't an option given the uncertainty of the item being delivered.

I reached out to Buddha Power again explaining that I was unable to control the timing of the delivery and, to my dismay, was told that the only way they would refund me was if I paid for return postage. This was inconvenient at best, given that the return postage cost more than the item itself. And to add insult to injury, they have not responded to any of my emails since.

All in all, for a company that preaches Buddhist teachings, it's hard to justify their behavior as anything other than hypocritical. Customers beware, do not make a purchase through Buddha Power Store as their products are cheaply made and overpriced, especially given the subpar customer service.
