I have called Brink Home Security customer service department serval times to request cancellation of my service and were placed on hold each time for hours after being transferred to the cancellation department. I am not satisfied with the service being provided with Brink Home Security and do not want anything to do with the company.

I've also sent a cancellation letter to the address in Dallas, TX requestion service cancellation.

Address: P.O Box 814530, Dallas, TX 75381

Desired outcome: I want my service canceled immediately.

I signed up Feb 1,2023 and was told I had 30 days to decide if I wanted to keep the system. This is a lie. I began complaining day two. It's now Aug. 28 and this has been the worst nightmare. Brinks is the worst company I have ever had the mispleasure of dealing with. I've worked in many different forms of customer service and there's no way I could ever work for a company like this one that takes horrible advantage of people, especially the elderly and those who are especially vulnerable. This company ought to be ashamed of themselves. Hopefully when I get thru with them they'll be a little more respectful of little old ladies.

I had a reliable ADT system for many years and last March some Brinks rep showed up at my door offering a better deal, which, of course, turned not to be true. I only armed the system twice that first 30 days or so and both times got false alarms. Law Enforcement even showed up both times. Both times I called tech support and both times they had no idea what happened or how to fix it. How can I depend on what is clearly a very unreliable system? No matter who I called, no matter how many letters sent in, they continue to bill me, now threatening collection agencies. I completely removed and disabled the system in April. I detached the unit from the power supply and the antennae and have it all in a box ready to be shipped, including the two cameras. Turns out they don't want it. But during my last call, in June, they said they were still receiving signal! I was stunned they would outright lie like that, but they did. They do not stand by their product, and refuse to cancel. I had already blocked my credit card form any additional automatic withdrawals. I am so mad at Brinks it is unbelievable. They are a predatory company.

You would not believe what they've put me thru. I have a number you can call. It's their Executive Response Line. You'll speak to someone here in the States. [protected]. I have had better luck with these people. Supposedly once my system is taken out if the tech shows up as one appt already got cancelled they're sending me a shipping label so I can send my equipment back. I was such an idiot to believe the three sales guys that came to my house. But I got told by Brinks own tech to get a lawyer and when I told the people everything this tech told me they have decided to help me. Hopefully that tech stands by everything he said because we might still end up in court. I'm not letting them get away with what they've done to me. I can't believe how many people complaining here have an oh well attitude. Brinks has messed with the wrong person here.

Buyer BEWARE! This company has no intention on cancelling your service. Use a different provider, I was in the hospital and could not pay the bill. Now! I can't use the service, but I still being billed until it's paid in full with no Job. This is an Unlawful business practice and should not be tolerated or in business in the USA.

This is their Executive Response Line and you'll be talking to someone in the States. Good luck to you and I hope things get better for you. I'm battling with Brinks too. I'm not going to give up. There's so many people this company has taken advantage of. Somehow they need to be stopped. Denise

I honored the three year contract and when it came time to cancel I was going in circles trying to even get someone to talk to. Biggest thing is that when I finally got recognition of cancelation I got several emails lowering my monthly rate - it went from $67. way down to $14. What does this tell you about the company. I'm nervous about them still taking the auto withdrawal out because when I called today, they said I still owe one more payment. I think this is their way of getting just one more payment. I will say it has been easier this past year to actually get a person to talk to - though the person may be in any part of the world.

Hi I’m having similar problems with the system

I have also cancelled due to system isn’t working but they continue to bill…one day prior to me canceling my system went off no one called or anything to see what is actually going on. I reported the problem and the answer was because in a reasonable time you disarm the alarm… what if I was forced to disarm?

My doorbell doesn’t work the cameras doesn’t work along with the monitor motion sensor doesn’t work and I’m ALWAYS getting message no communication with system in 24 hours.

I complained numerous of times and it was not resolved.

As far as my system it’s paid up.

Why should I pay for monitoring a system that’s been cancelled when there’s no monitoring?
