I currently work at Bob Evans been there for 3 years now and have done everything in that restaurant kitchen prep, cook, host, dishtank, carryout, manage and I still have not received anything more than 10.10 an hour. I do stuff outside my job title all the time and take not getting paid for it because I want to help where they need me but now I know it is wrong to hire someone that’s 16 years old and has no experience at that restaurant or nearly experience at all to be hire at 12.50. I think that is bad to have your employees that’s been there longer and actually know what they doing lower than the new hires. I have been told I won’t get a raise because I made 18 to 20 every hour which is not true because we don’t get tipped every hour if we don’t have any orders. I love working for bobs but being payed that I don’t feel is okay when the economy a lot different now. There is another lady I worked with since I have been there and she has been there for 15 years and get 10.50 which is still ridiculous because she does everything in the books and she is an older lady and is amazing. I feel bad for her also in this situation about the wages also we have been told we are not allow to talk about wages and if we do we will get written up which I think is ridiculous and idk if it true. The vice president was in today but didn’t get the chance to talk to him, he kinda talk to everyone else I didn’t even get a hello. My sister law work at the same location she recently came back to bob as a server and he had talk to her about a manger’s position but I have been there longer since haven’t been offered anything but I have mention it. The managers always talk about how good I do and how hard I work but still don’t give anything to benefit me from it.

Desired outcome: I would like to actually get a raise and my coworker that’s is an older lady. I think it’s ridiculous to hire new people at a hire wage then the people that’s actually been there.
