Today I visited store #226 in my Hilliard Ohio. We were seated after about 25 minutes and directed to a booth. My 2 year old climbed in and sat down and immediately the front part of the bench lifted up completely came off and my daughter fell into the inside of the bench. She was screaming and crying in fear. I pulled her out, consoled her and then took her into the bathroom to clean her up. She has several scrapes and bruises and was covered in syrup and trash that was under the bench seat. No one came to see what happened. My mother, who was with us, told a worker what happened and asked to be moved. We were moved to another booth (which the table had a folded up piece of cardboard that had mold on it shoved under the table leg) and that worker replaced the bench. No one asked if my daughter was ok. The waitress said there wasn’t anything she could do that was the manager’s responsibly. We ordered food waited almost 40 minutes, ate and was given the full bill. Still no one came to check on my daughter or make sure she was ok. On the way out I saw the manager and just wanted to make sure he was aware of what happened with the booth bench and make sure no one else got hurt. He said he was aware and then offer my daughter a sucker.
Desired outcome: I’d appreciate some type of apology, but more so to know that something will be fixed to the booth. No one deserves to pay eat in a restaurant and be injured, and then brushed off like nothing happened.
