BLS International Services Pathetic customer service and highly unsatisfied with BLS Toronto PCC guidance and incorrect guidelines misleading clients.

Pathetic service and highly unsatisfied with BLS Toronto jurisdiction (Brampton). I submitted my PCC application by following their guideline available on website. There was two different application fees (one in website of 35.7) and in their guideline it has the old fee $41.40 which was misguiding the applicants. I decided to make a DD of the highest figure which is $41.40 hoping that they don't delay or return the application but they resent it. I called their helpdesk and also sent an email to 3rd level escalation but they are useless. they just said sorry for the inconvenience and redo the application. I do not understand why can't they keep correct fee updated everywhere it is mentioned? and why can't they give option to make online payment and serve their clients better (It looks like they are stuck in 90's policies). Customer support service is pathetic because some agents told me that I don't have to repay for the shipping again but some said I have to repay it. Come on BLS! grow up. Are you here to help your clients or trouble them by complicating the process and not offering enough help?

Their web form allow clients to log complaints and it says your complaint has been logged but you never get an email notification and its impossible to follow up for clients.

Only option to given complaints is through their 3rd level escalation email (servicehq. [protected]@blsinternational.net) but they were helpless in my case. They just said sorry for the inconvenience and never responded to further emails. I wish Indian Passport authority appoint some better organizations to server the PCC clients efficiently. DO NOT RECOMMEND BLS AT ALL for their poor service due to their unwillingness to help clients or make corrective actions.

Recommendation: Never follow their guideline on website. talk to an agent but they say different policies time to time and do not give consideration to client's feedback. Good luck if you get some agent online to help (hopefully) if you are lucky :D do not recommend it . Highly dissatisfied

BLS International Services Ripping people off with so called premium service without telling them

Hello,

My name is Baljinder Kaler, I was at BLS CALGARY January 6,2025
I had an appointment at 10:30am and I waited till 11:35 for my turn (while standing there because no seats were available, even tho I had an appointment I still had to wait over an hour)
Anyway my turn comes in and I thought I had all the documents but I had added my village name twice on the form and and the lady on #2 (Punjabi lady) said she can fill the application for me for $30 and I agreed to it.
There was another error, I had to attach my mothers and father’s passport copies because of the last name
I sent them to the lady who was helping me on counter #2 and she said those copies wont be accepted because they are bit blurry and said I can come back tomorrow and drop them off and I said okay
Today I came in and waited 20-25 minutes and lady on #1 (again Punjabi lady - not sure what their names are but hopefully I got the counter numbers right)
I thought I had everything right today but she told me my pic is older than 6 months even tho its not
She told me its $18 for 2 pics (your website says $9 for 4 pictures but she charged $18 for 2, what a rip off)
Then she charged my $233.40 all together, I wasnt sure how much the fee is so I paid it.
I got home and looked at the prices and found out its only $96
So I called BLS CALGARY and after trying for 3 times my call gets answered and I was told fee is $105.70 for the fee and I was charged for Premium service which was never explained to me and nor I got it (rip off)
Lady over the phone tells me that premium service includes pictures (why was I charged $18 then? [censored])
Overall a very bad experience and never recommend this place to anyone
I would like my refund and I am only paying what I agreed to which is for the service itself ($105 even tho website says $96+ $30 for the application and pictures should be $9, all together $144.70 plus applicable taxes

Don’t rip people off like that and explain the service you guys are providing and update me on my refund please

A few questions-
1. Why was I provided this premium service without me being aware of it, all I agreed to was 30 dollars for refilling my form because I had provided my citys name twice so I was charged 100 dollars for that and why would I agree to pay 100 dollars to get my form refilled, I agreed because it was 30 dollars
2. Also lets assume I agred to it, why was I charged for my pictures? They are part of the premium service arent they?
3. Bls website says 9 dollars for 4 pictures? Why was I charged 18 for pics?
4. Hell I never received no special treament/premium service, I sliterally had to stand for over an hour for my turn until 11:30 am eventho my appointment was at 10:30 am
I stoold bevcause no chairs were availeble, is this what you call "premium service", there was no coffe/tea served, they were almost almost out of drinking water

This is a joke, please refund me my 100 dollars + 9 dollars for pictures and we can go along. I am not ready to be scammed for something that was never offered to me

Ask for a list of the individual fees and report this case directly to their head office. Proceed to lodge an official complaint with the relevant consumer watchdog against fraudsters who overcharge. If they refuse you, then take the issue up with your bank since it’s not your problem anymore.

BLS International Services Spain visa service

Myself and wife applied for Spain visa through BLS International Kochi in July 2024.

I reached there on time and summitted documents. Seal on bank statement was missing. I begged them to accept the application and agreed to come back with the sealed document once bank opens ie 10 AM.

They just denied this and asked us to pay and book for another appointment. I managed to get the documents the same day and begged again in vain. They did not allowed to enter the office.

I paid and booked another appointment. There was a correction in the data I entered in their system They asked me to pay Rs 1500 to make this correction. After some argument they agreed to do it free but charged RS 400 for SMS services we never opted for.

THIS IS JUST EXTORTION NOTHING ELSE.

Claimed loss: [protected] of first appointment + SMS charges 400 which we never opt for)

BLS International Services certainly seems to have turned a simple visa application into an exercise in frustration. Could’ve been worse—you managed to get things sorted, even if it felt like extortion along the way. It’s frustrating when a service that's supposed to help you just adds more hurdles.

Yes, that is a fact. We started early mornings 5 am to reach thier office. We managed to get all documents once bank opened.This is for first appointment.

For second appointment, we really got frustrated when they asked Rs 1500 for correction in their system.

Also they charged for SMS which we never opted. I am planning to file a consumer court case.

BLS International Services Center Mississauga

I have visited BLS center on 21st November, 2024 for police clearance certificate, I had all documents asked in check list with application form still when you visit there they said you address is not up-to-date and all and ask me to fill it again and asked extra fee for it, it is scam, totally scam, when you fill online application it allow you to write only certain letters then how you are going to write whole address? and they know if anyone came from faraway then they will pay because they will not choose to come again, I need to update my passport as well, I am damn sure they will ask again more fees for it, at least be transparent with the instructions given for the form and what you actually want, do not harass people, do not make us feel like illiterate.

Please look into this matter very seriously and you should update the person who complain for it

BLS International Services Getting appointments for passport service in Dubai

It is extremely difficult to book an appointment with BLS internations for any passport services in dubai even 15 days prior.

There is no transparency followed by BLS international.Always we are getting message "Slots currently unavailable".

But slots are always available with premium lounge service which is very expensive. BLS international simply looting the common men under premium lounge service.

BLS International Services Customer service

This incident happed at BLS international, Toronto. I booked an appointment on 01/26/2024 at 12:00 to surrender my Indian passport. I was ready with all documents as per the checklist and website. I had to wait there until 04:00 pm to get called into a screening desk, where they checked my documents. The person never introduced nor followed any basic customer service, she told my application is wrong & I have to submit my spouse’s passport copy along with those documents. The same person screened my spouse’s application & never asked him to submit my passport copy. When I politely asked that person about the necessary documents specified in the check list , she got annoyed & behaved so rudely. I expected basic customer service. None of them was wearing name tag or ID. When I asked her name she refused to give me. She asked me to redo my application. That means I had to waste one more day. That facility has no basic facilities as well, not enough seating, no drinking water, no washroom. There is no reception desk to get information. The employees are working at snail pace. I don’t understand the point of booking appointment online, I am not sure if they have to send people back after 8 , 9 hours why can’t they check the application before admitting to the office. I never experienced such a terrible customer service. I am not sure how they are still working like that .

BLS International Services Photograph new rules about oci

Hi Sir/mam,

I applied OCI application at Novber 25 at Brampton location. 23 November I took photos from Walmart for OCI application. I was standing in line around 4 am morning because all OCI application appointments imwas full. When I went inside for my application they said your photos Is not valid because your soldiers is not showing up. You have to take photo And check list. So total you have to Pay total 86$ included courier charge. They charged me 30$ for photo and 6$ for empty check list. And some extra charges which I have no idea. When I Show her check list sample photo and my photo I asked her what is different between this, they said as per new policy we need full soldiers. I told him you can see full soldiers in my photo even I asked why you not update in system it's not our issue. But she didn't accept it. I show so many people was arguing with this photos issue. They take advantage our compulsion. I don't want to wake up again early and standing in line. Same goes all other person so we have to take photo from inside without no reason. Please see attached photo and let me know what's a difference between checklist and my rejected photos. Please take some action at Bramptonlocation. I have to go further investigation

BLS International Services Contact Center

I requested for pick-up services and did not receive the shipping label - Purolator cancelled the pick-up and asked to contact BLS. No matter the way you try to reach BLS, there is no way to contact them. Their contact center call number doesn't connect, call disconnects after few IVR options and there is no response to online inquiries & emails. I don't know how to escalate this, I paid for pickup service to save time but it's getting delayed.

Desired outcome: Need my documents to be picked up on priority and get the application processed. We need to travel in December and with this delay, I don't think we can.

BLS International Services Schengen visa appointment

Date : 27/09/2023

I and my 8 months old baby applied for Schengen Visa appointment and got confirmation, We visited the BLS centre in Mumbai on the day of appointment 30 mins prior to our appointment time. The BLS office started the process for document collection and it took more 4 hours while that time I was not able to feed my baby as there is no feeding room or proper restrooms for it. After almost 4 hours I was told that the appointment system shows wrong passport number which I remember that was correct when I showed them that I have not made any mistake they started saying its a system glitch and you will have to take a fresh appointment. How frustrating and absurd was that statement even when I told the person in charge that I have been travelling almost 60KM to reach here with a 8 months old baby who is breast-feeding and there is no room available to take care of his feeding and I have been waiting here providing all relevant documents and following the process. The Blunt answer was We cannot do anything about it . I paid for the appointment and the team not considering a situation that I have a small baby with me and all that I had to go through was so disrespectful, un-caring and unhelpful. If it is not my fault why do I have to struggle and travel again 60 KMs with my baby?

Desired outcome: I would want BLS to correct their mistake and provide appointment rather than asking me to take a fresh appointment.Please can you manage without my baby having to visit the BLS venue as there are absolutely no facilities.

BLS International Services My passport is still not dispatched (more than a week and no response)

Hi,

I applied for tourist visa, and the application is rejected more than a week ago. They emailed that the tourist visa fee is 13.82 where in the website it says 137.82. I am confused. I asked this in the email and there is no response yet.

Also they did not dispatch my passport yet. Please kindly help. Its been more than a week and they did not dispatch my sentback application and passport.

I need to travel soon!

I tried to call and emailed so many times. There is no proper reply regarding my file. I filled up the escalation form too. Please dispatch my passport and kindly let me know.

BLS International Services Surrender Indian Passport

We were trying to surrender our Indian passports third time ( as our all family members including my parents got Canadian Citizenship) at Brampton BLS International Service ( 60 Gillingham dr, Brampton) and still asked to come fourth times with new applications and new photos.

I followed the guide given on their website to fill the application and filled the form exact way shown on sample form but the staff member who were checking my forms said I missed the emergency contact person’s address ( which was not required as sample form) , and he can fix it for me if I pay him $60 ( illegally) ,

Second time after a month I filled the way he said And again I was told that I missed the postal code of emergency contact person’s address and if she can fix it with $50 ( again illegally) , and third time after another month when I went she said I will need two photos of each person ( which is not mention on checklist) , again she asked for $60 bribe .

Every time I had to take day off from work. My parents are too old and my mom is on wheelchair still I had to brought them to the centre and still they didn’t accept our application unless we pay them $60 for each person as a bribe .

If Only surrendering is this painful , I wonder how much struggle We will have to go through applying for Indian Visa or OCI.

Unfortunately every time the staff was different person but all of them asked for bribe .

Desired outcome: I would like this “Bribe” system must not avoided by the higher authorities, they must take strict action on their staff ( specially at Brampton office)

BLS International Services BLS Brampton - Visa

1. No update of website on how may years is allowed for tourist visa to India.

2. Call center confirmed that the 5 years tourist visa was available.

3. Having submitted the visa application for 5yrs, the offfice in Brampton, ontario Canada say that only 1 year visa is available.

4. The Brampton wants to charge $30 for changing the form to reflect 1yr instead of 5 yrs on the form.

5. I had to return home to redo the tourist visa for as $30 is too much to pay for a minor change. The office could easily change the number of years and update the system.

6. BLS gives the impression that they need to make Canadian's lives difficult and to make money of them for minor mistakes.

7. There is no empathy or professionalism shown in their handling of foreign visitors to India.

BLS International Services A document was not sent from BLS to German consulate leading to its rejection

I got my passport (without stamped) back from Chicago BLS International on 26 th May, which was not stamped. Along with the passport I received a document (in German), with an only statement in English saying that my J1 endorsement is missing. Till date I have not received any reply or answer to my queries from your company. Firstly, nowhere at your "site" it is mentioned that an endorsed document is necessary at the time of APPOINTMENT. As an alternative, I was asked to send the hand-signed document by email within 48 hrs. The document was sent to the same email well in time (I have the proof), then how was my visa rejected based on this?

When I am calling the BLS, then I am told to contact the consulate. We are done on our part. Is that what you charged me for? Is this the kind of service to be provided to the customer? I traveled all the way from Ohio just for this visa. My tickets are booked for July. My accommodation is booked. And just because of your stupidity in not sending the document, I am going to bear the losses.

So, I want you to either fix this issue or I am going to take your company to court as I have proof that I did send you the documents and your site is not providing the information properly.

BLS International Services Form attestation

I went to get Helper contract attested and as usual they rejected in first go saving address does not match word to word with passport, only difference in address was it was more detailed with same PIN code. But lady in counter 1 declined. She asked me to come again with new form. I went again with new form and this time I thought I don’t need appointment again so she declined. So I asked if my wife can come on my behalf and she said it’s ok provide I right authorisation letter which I did.

In third attempt all of sudden they asked for her VISA, to which my wife asked why they need her visa than reply was just give or we don’t take application.

They mis use their power and behaviours is worst as compared any other company.

They are running a shop of print out, no one in HK charge 10HKD per print out but they do. 50 HKd for photo because they need it in perfect size.

Not only to us I observed they behave similarly with everyone.

Desired outcome: I paid extra visited three time to get my form attested. If BLS want to make more money just charge extra don’t create problem for people, it create so bad image of India

BLS International Services Premium charges

This company offers premium lounge appointments only. There are no other options does not say that there is a £60 charge charged for use of premium lounge. It is ridiculous they do this, as the set charge is not known in advance anywhere. This is illegal practice, if they provided a premium lounge as a service it's acceptable in some way but they do not allow any waiting or standing around on the floor and security is constantly telling people to wait outside the building how is this premium lounge services. They have a small drinks machine and airline style single biscuit packs. This is total unfair practice and should be investigated by all authorities. The total cost of their fees are £14 and standard shipping of passport at £16 then the standard visa cost of totaling £110 they then charge £60 for use of premium lounge when they shove 45 people in a document processing room 20ft by 20ft sitting on chairs then processed in a 6 boxed identity check room no bigger than processing. It's a total sham to charge premium lounge and not offer a standard appointment.

BLS International Services Passport renewal

Hi I have recently submitted by passport application and there was a error on my application which I will now fix and resend the whole package after spening my time and money, once I get back the courier from your bls toronto office. I have lived and worked in dubai for 27 years and my employer used to hold onto our passport, they stickered all employees passports without our knowledge with empoyee file no. Etc. I just saw on my passport return note, to remove stickers on my passport that I will not be able to removed as they are hard to remove and are somewhat removed and this passport is also being returned/cancelled so I dont see why is there an issue, to reason. I really dont have time for this, I am currently pregnant and last thing I want to deal is with a unreasonable employees of bls canada, I have previously had such horrific expereince when I renewed my fathers passport last may 2021. Maybe your team should learn from dubai bls how to treat customers. I have also given review on google.

BLS International Services Spain schengen visa appointment and website

Good afternoon,

We have been struggling with the BLS system since the beginning of December 2022 with no appointments available for Manchester.
Yesterday 11.01.2023 there were finally appointments available, however the system would not allow me to book 2 appointments for my children, and a notification popped up that my IP had been blocked.

This makes absolutely no sense, I called BLS to try and book telephonically to be told no appointments available for the rest of the month even though I could see them on the system, realizing I wasn't going to receive help from the person on the other side of the call I decided I would try online again, but I needed to create a new login and recapture my sons application as an error came up my email address has a booking associated with it. (Even though the website has an option to add family member in the dashboard) buy the time I finally recaptured the application the appointments had been booked up by then.

This website and system is an utter disgrace, and has caused my wife and I unnecessary distress.
Our trip is scheduled for 18 February 2023.
I would appreciate any assistance to get this matter resolved, I still only have 1 appointment approved.

BLS International Services Tourist visa

This is the most retarded business you'd Ever encounter, I applied for a tourist visa via postal services, been 12 weeks already, upon call these stone age associates, it takes them 10 minutes to locate my file after holding for 45 minutes on phone to reach one of them.

Their English is beyond terrible so I'll have to ask for response reputation over 4 times, they're always referring to online info on my visa update and try to end call, yet 0.000 info is updated online, in fact I have no online account they created yet & still they refer to!

What stone age environment is this? Why are they allowed to do business in Canada?

Desired outcome: Do business like humans, not otherwise.

BLS International Services Entry Visa to India

Bls is such an irresponsible agency to authorize visa/passport services for citizens of other nations with Indian origin. BLS cannot be reached via phone and they do not respond to you via email. I submitted an application to get entryvisa in oct 2022 and my application has not even completed until now on 9 Dec 2022. I did lose money on flight tickets as I could not make tracel on time. I strongly advocate to dissolve BLS from Canada. They are the worst!

BLS International Services Indian Visa Processing

Sibling was getting married on Dec 2nd and I filed for visa on Oct 14th through courier puck up. BLS held onto my application for almost 30 days just to tell me... Consulate doesn't offer visa for 5 years through postal. I ended up missing my brother's wedding - which I really hope no one has to miss. But seeing other people suffering was different sight. Saw 75 years old, ladies with new born and toddlers standing in the queue in wintry snow weather. Absolutely HORRIBLE... if you believe in Hell, please visit BLS to see how it feels like.

Not sure, if I can formally file a complaint against BLS

Desired outcome: I have already lost attending an important event if my life. But I can share with others and authorities if they pay heed.
