My high speed xfinity internet service has had no issues with disconnects but my world of warcraft hardcore character continues to freeze in the game for 30 seconds to 1 minute long before being disconnected. When I log back in my character is a ghost! This freezing in the game has killed all my characters and months of hard work. I checked my internet when the game froze and it was good. I removed all add-ons and deleted the add-on program from my computer. I also followed instructions on clearing the caches so the add-ons stay gone. I also deleted and re-installed the game but the freezes and death of my characters continue. I would love to play the game and not die to game freezes. My computer specs are good. My last character level 14 mage died near the deadmines fighting river paw on 11/16/2025. I've had approximately 56 characters die this way. What else can i do to fix these freeze deaths? Please help!

i just found your review, i don't work for blizzard just incase anyone thinks i do, this issue might be two fold. while for retail [not hardcore and not classic] is moving into the next expansion there is server loads that cause lag that are similar to what you report. This is one way you could have this issue. i did check with blizzard support back then and followed the same steps as you and issue continued. During the issue checking with blizzard and while disconnects happened our internet was connected and no interruption.
the other way i think is more the answer. i had comcast back in 2010 and left them in 2010, the reason...the same issue as you. Also i had a room mate who was hard wired into the router and was getting disconnects, while playing a MMO, both our computers were to spec for gamers. we found out it was comcast who was doing something on their end. we switched to another ISP and our issue was fixed.
