Blaze King

This might be an issue with any catalytic stove but we regret our decision to buy a Blaze King Ashford wood stove We've been heating our home primarily with wood burning heat for 50 years. This stove is harder to start a fire, and when we turn the vent down it eventually blackens the glass to the point we can't see any flame. So much for ambiance. Between fires, it takes an hour to get the creosote off the glass using gloves, mask, scrubber, towels, but never completely clean. Our wood is about 3 yr old mixed pine, fir, madrone and oak stored under tarp altho we're building a wood shed now. It does heat the room and keep a fire overnight, which I gave it one more star for that. I contacted BK but they have yet to respond.

I signed a contract for bath tub remodeling on 03/02/20I21. With three days to cancel, I called Juan M (sales rep.) to cancel and called the main office @ , it was 03/04. I made out a check for $1000.00 dollars! That I have yet to receive! I spoke to Joe (project manager) who said Austin would take care of refunding my money immediately, but there have been no results! It's almost a month, and this can make me end up on the negative side of my checking acct. Also, on 03/04, I mailed them a Notice of Cancellation form. Thank you, please help!

The Blaze King product practically sells itself. Unfortunately, the salespeople at the Blaze King locations in Albuquerque and Santa Fe are all liars. They make a lot of promises but never follow through. Just like typical salespeople, they only care about closing the sale and then completely forget about you. I can't stand salespeople who make empty promises and never deliver.

When we bought our Blaze King, we were given a quote for a full installation. However, when the two guys came to install the stove, they saw that there was already an old stove pipe installed and said it was good enough. We specifically asked the salesperson to install all new pipe, triple wall, and make it as safe and secure as possible. But they didn't replace the old stove pipe with anything new or add any bracing.

We even received a call back from the manager, who also said that the guys installing the stove thought it was fine. But that's not what we asked for in the purchase agreement. We wanted all new stove pipe, installation, and bracing on top of the roof. But it seems like that's not going to happen. So please be aware of these faulty salespeople! They are the worst I have ever encountered!
